Weā€™ve walked past Maple 3 almost every weekend for the past year and every time weā€™ve said to each other we have to try here next week. Well today we did. The coffee and hot chocolate were cold which the staff happily microwaved for us. The muffin in my bacon and egg muffin was was very hard and rather uninspiring, but the goat cheese and vegetable tart was delicious. The staff were cordial and cheerful. Considering other reviews weā€™ve read, and the food delivered to other tables while we were there, Iā€™m guessing we were the unlucky ones on the day.

Food was delicious, staff were very accommodating. Partner had the breakfast burger and loved the chilli chutney. Had a wonderful atmosphere with a visit from the wildlife.

Nothing were really special and amazing to be able to give 5 star. Coffee and quiche and smoothie were delicious, pancake and pasties were average. Service, vibe and friendliness of staff can be ranked as ok which means the average of almost most cafes.

I adore this place and seems like forever since we had lunch here. I was not disappointed. As usual the staff are great, service spot on and the food is even better. Thanks for a great lunch and so glad you have survived the last outlet.of years.

The chef here absouletly knows what heā€™s doing. I ordered a breakfast special which was simple but delicious. Extremely attentive and polite staff and very competitively priced menu. Iā€™d come back

While trying to find a lunch spot that won't be closing anytime soon, allowing us to actually sit down and enjoy our meals without having to worry about the closing time.. we found Maple 3 Cafe. With the elevated seating area, we were able to oversee the bustle of Maple Street with locals walking around and about to their local supermarket or shopping.

Totally amazing.Ā Home made pies are the BOMB!!! Not to mention all the cakes are made in house as well. Nothing is brought into the cafe apart from fresh produce.Ā Salads are a winner and i never can finish them they are so big hahah!Ā The warm beef and ginger is a personal favourite!

If you haven't tried Mark's homemade pies here yet, then you have to put it on your bucket list! Absolutely gorgeous! The breakfast menu is no-nonsense bacon and eggs fare but delicious and consistently good. Fresh quiches and other delights made on the spot and always good. The tea is up there with the best in town.

Just enjoyed a delicious lunch and fancy iced coffee. Great spot overlooking town centre from shaded outdoor deck plus aircon inside (hot day). Friendly service and everything freshly made at reasonable prices. Highly recommend for lunch.

Had lunch yesterday here and it was fantastic. Service was outstanding and the chef made sure he farewelled you before you left. Atmosphere was great and sitting on the deck was great.

Morning Tea Yum. I was passing through Maleny and dropped in for morning tea. Having stopped in at this cafe before, I was not dissapointed. With a choice of seating either indoors or outdoor deck, I decided to enjoy the morning sun on the deck. Service as always was very prompt and friendly. I decided on a chai latte and the baked cheesecake. I did not have to wait long for my order to arrive. The cheese cake was simply a 10 out of 10. The cake was moist and fresh on a crunchy biscuit base and presented beautifully. I will be back next time I am in Maleny

Breakfast on Saturday. We knew you were busy with breakfasts and were happy to wait the estimated time of 20mins. However, 30 mins later the worst big breakfast we had seen came out. The sausages on both plates were so crinkled, the skin so tough that the knife would not cut them. The eggs, obviously had been done on a dirty bbq type plate as they were covered with black charcoal specks. The bacon was extremely fatty and the whole experience was dissapointing. We are locals, live at Montville.

Lovely afternoon. Lovely relaxing snack in a wonderful area. Partner & I stopped here on Good Friday after a ride from Redcliffe through the mountains. Not much open due to Public Holiday except for the bakery & fish / chips. Good choice to stop at Maple 3 as coffee was excellent & partner chose a gourmet chicken & veg pie with myself having the open grill baguette with chicken, capsicum & avocado. Good portion size & nice & tasty. They also had a specials board though only wanted a snack this time. Staff very pleasant particularly young man who greeted us upon arrival and supplied us with a menu. (very efficient & polite) Unfortunately we were unable to personally thank him as he had finished work by the time we were ready to leave. We will return again.

Lost my breakfast and 45 min wait unacceptable.. Ordered breakfast for 2, was eating with friends. over 30 min wait until meals arrived for friends. My meal was sent to wrong table by staff, causing my replacement meal to arrive AFTER all but one of said friends had finished their breakfasts. 45 mins for a meal, and some half-assed apology means I won't be back. toast was so thin and burned. not impressed. Not Impressed AT ALL !!

Gail. Brilliant service, it was nice that the staff waited till you had left cafƩ before taking you dirty plates.( not the usual as soon as your finished the start clearing.) Food great cheese cake and really nice cup of tea, my mother talked about how great it was all day (and that never happens) My mother even thanked the staff and complemented them . Mum is great and I love her but very fussy with food . So thankyou for the great morning tea .

Very pleasant experience.. We had a group of 4 adults and 2 children. The staff were accommodating and organized a table for us. The cafe was very clean. Staff members were ALL very polite and very on the ball with clearing tables. One young guy even swept the mess from under a table between customers. The menu was very fresh, tasty and simple done very well. Good quality ingredients used throughout. It is not often a place has good food and an amazing selection of delicious fresh cakes! The chicken and beef pies were also good. One of the most efficient and delicious cafes I have been to.

Food good but the manager is a pig. I have dined here a number of time for breakfast and note cook/manager has a constant stream of new staff. I have heard him berate them and yell at them frequently, which is not nice over breakfast. Today I got to experience his charming manner when after ordering a number of cakes and coffee (paid on the card). I realized after ordering I had forgotten one cake and asked to buy the next one on the card. The junior staff asked the manager/cook and he proceeded to yell across the restaurant how I could go to the bank across the road and get money out if I wanted to buy another cake as the transaction would cost him 50 cents. I felt embarrassed to say the least. This is my take mate: you are a rude arrogant pig and it's no wonder you can't keep your your staff. I will never again dine at your cafe regardless of how good the food is. Whenever someone asks me what I think of your cafe I will tell them about today. I could see plenty of others didn't like you attitude and hope they do the same.

Best breakfast in Maleny!. Love this place! We are always made to feel very welcome...Mark the owner/chef is the most friendly, welcoming cafe owner ever! He makes his own chicken and beef pies, as well as vegetarian pastries. Lovely coffee.

Diana. Was recently hiking out this way & stopped here for brekky. Coffee was good, ditto vege b/f. On the way back from the hike stopped again for coffee & their "to die for" homemade cakes. Coffee not as good but passable, the cheesecake mmmmm I even took another cake home but cant remember the name of it was yum all the same!!
Table For 3 Thanks
After driving around the mountain tops looking for somewhere open for breakfast before 8am (we are morning people) we came across this gem in Maleny. Already close to packed out at 6.30 in the morning we took one of the last available tables and ordered our much needed coffee. The breakfast menu is all the usual suspects and reasonably priced. Ā The coffee arrived fast and was well made. I had the vegetarian breakfast and the eggs were runny just how I like them and the veges full of flavour. Anthony decided on the blueberries pancakes that were served with a cute jar of syrup. Ā This was certainly plentiful and even a growing boy like Ant struggled to get through all 3 pancakes, but gave it a good crack! I would definitely recommend this cafe for a fast, friendly and tasty meal.

I had the roast vegetable pasta with garlic and olive oil. The roast vegetables ā€“ predominantly pumpkin, capsicum and zucchini - were delicious, but you had to look past the ocean of olive oil everything on the plate was drowning in. Being heavy on the garlic provided heaps of flavour, but I wouldnā€™t recommend you try kissing or cuddling anyone immediately after. At least not without chowing down on a packet of mints.
