Review Healthy Homewares Cafe - Maleny

We were initially greeted as you would expect, then questioned weather we were wearing perfume? The said shop assistant informed us that there was a notice at the front of the store requesting customers refrain from entering the store if that be the case. Firstly we missed the sign, and secondly the fragrance that this person took offence to was a scented hand sanitiser that we had both applied in another store. We were gobsmacked that a business in this current environment would actively deter customers. NOT GOOD

I adore going here! There is the most beautiful indoor nursery store downstairs and a lovely homewares upstairs. I never fail to head home with some beautiful plants. Let's also not forget the Cafe. Yum yum yum. It is wheelchair friendly to a certain degree. Cafe is great for a wheelchair, nursery is a little tight, but the homewares upstairs is usually very tight to get around and depending on who is on the floor serving that particular you can at times feel like you are in the way or like your not welcome. That however never stops me. I've only ever met the most lovely and obliging staff downstairs in the nursery and in the cafe, it's only in the homewares I've had trouble.

We were looking for some quality kitchenware (solidteknics) and this place came up. We certainly weren’t disappointed walking out with more than we were expecting, but how could we resist with some great items on sale. Unfortunately it appears we bought the wrong size pan, however we were told we could swap it if needed so I will be heading back to take them up on the offer.

High quality products. Too bad no sign at the windows whatsoever of the trading hours. Everyone eventually stay away especially weekends and holidays they open 10 am or they just closed. When tourist already arrived here as early as 8 am. Looking for morning tea. Nothing was open.
