We ordered the dhal makhani and shahi paneer and oh my god, it was so good. The rice was fragrant and the naan was excellent. Dropping by from Brisbane, I can definitely say this was a treat. If we ever stop by Maleny again, we'll come back.

Daawat is delicious! Hubby and I ended up stuck in Maleny for dinner during a lockdown and boy are we glad we came here! It’s super tasty and really good value for money. The servings are very generous (the naan is HUGE!). If we pass through, this will be our go to place, highly recommended!!

The best Indian cuisine I have had in a long time. Food was fresh with spot on spices and saucey textures. The restaurant itself is simple with a line of locals collecting takeaway. This is a hidden gem for visitors to Maleny.
