I've been to Rasputin about 15 times in the last five years as my family likes to go there to celebrate special occasions. The food is great and I always look forward to it. The tables are set up with beautiful entrees to get the night started, and food does not stop coming out until about midnight. Staff have always been helpful and efficient and the live entertainment is fun and unpretentious. I've taken a lot of my friends here and we always end up being the last ones on the dance floor. This really is a place where you can expect to have a good time and come out very full. Keep it up, Rasputin :)
Another excellent night at Rasputin's!. I had a group of sixteen close friends and family celebrate my birthday at Rasputin's this past Saturday night. What a great night! Fun was had by all. We ate till our hearts content. The food just didn't stop coming and it was delicious. Service was fantastic. The band was awesome. This is a beautiful well priced (just $60.00 a head and BYO alcohol. We brought a few bottles of Vodka!) venue that has an authentic Russian vibe. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. So much fun!
Great venue for performance. I was here on a very hot day just before christmas for my biannual dance performance. I found the venue had a great atmosphere, fantastic decor, particularly in the bathroom (needed to change into my costume!). And the food, particularly the smoked salmon, and the egg salad, was yummy and there was heaps of it - the slasliks were also great. The service was charming, and the food just kept coming. When I read the reviews below, I wasn't looking forward to it, but it turned out to be a great night. I will certainly recommend it for my next performance night! Thanks guys!
What a night!. We celebrated Birthday Party there. $60.00 per person includes EVERYTHING, even corkage! Just bring your own booze (ANY BOOZE!). Food was in abundance, we just could not eat it all! 15 courses! Overall, food was very good, I just did not like prawns on skewers with rice. All other dishes (14 of them!) were delicious! Live band was playing great music. We had awesome time dancing away past 01:00AM. So happy! Thank you guys!
A lively, eventful and stomach-filling atmosphere. Every time you make an appearance at Rasputin Restaurant, it is quiet inevitable to leave with an empty stomach and a smile on your face for the ride back home. The large, if not, huge variate of the delicious Russian cuisine, along side a breath taking band which refuses to end the dancing and music until the customers call the quits all contribute in creating a lively, eventful and stomach-filling atmosphere. Not to mention the constant check ups from the staff to ensure every bodies area around the table is clean, filled with food, drinks and stripped from the used plates. Definitely going back there, without a question!
I have been to this restaurant many times and will keep coming back for more! Everytime we have been we have had excellent service, great food (more than enough!) and the entertainment is superb with amazing singers and a fabulous saxophonist.. Come for a dance and bring some vodka for great night out with friends and a taste of authentic Russian culture.

Russian Kazatskis!!!!!. Came here for a birthday party on a Saturday night.
When you enter the venue, its set up as a wedding hall reception. The tables are packed to the max. and upon arriving there was already entrees on the table.
Entrees included:
Smoked Salmon (Good)
Crapes with red Caviar
Russian Salad (Delicious!)
Garden Salad
Seafood Salad
Mushroom Chicken Salad.
Marinated Mushrooms (Good)
Marinated Eggplant (Amazing!)
Assorted Meats (stuffed chicken, smoked chicken, etc)
Fish Fillet with Neapolitana Sauce
Russian Antipasto
Pirozhki (stuffed pastry with meat)
Crapes filled with ricotta and mozzarella cheese
First Main Course
Baked trout on a bed of vegetables
Prawns in garlic sauce served with rice (Good)
Second Main Course
Assorted Char Grilled meat (Duck Leg, Lamb and Chicken Chashlyk)
Now. With all those courses we were beyond full. But for $60/pp ...and all that food... it seemed reasonable enough. Lest we forget the entertainment! Between the Russian Mafia Family sitting at the other end of the hall, the Sailor Jerry Photographer and the Owner/Singer/Saxophonist/Host/Piano Player... this restaurant was an experience!
Come with a group of friends and don't forget the Vodka ;)
Interesting experience. As an australian, i'v never properly been introduced to the russian experience and you definetly get this in this restaurant. very ethnic, the food, very traditional and you get two times more than you'll ever need. it's impossible to come out of this restaurant hungry and if you like to drink, this is the place to do it, vodka!
