Pizza tastes good, service is good and price is reasonable but I noticed the size/weight of the pizza is less than what I remember it was last time. Could finish one pizza easily by myself this time
I recommend the Boscaiola specialty pasta from this restaurant. It’s creamy and really good. Great price for the portion too!

We came at a busy time and ordered quite a few pizzas and they still tasted top notch, we were sitting in the back of a mates ute after closing and the owners had a lovely chat with us. Great family owned restaurant.
Went here based o the recommendation of someone else who has been here a few times. It was definitely out of the area of where I live but not hard to get to and plenty of parking. It certainly seems to be more catered to take away but 2 of us decided to dine in. We ordered a hawaiin and a Pepperoni pizza. The service was immediate and friendly (seems to be run by a family). The pizzas came out and were exceptionally cooked in the wood fired oven. The based was beautifully cooked and the ingredients were top quality. Would highly recommend the place to anyone living within a few kilometres of the place. If i was to go to a movie at Chadstone, I would rather go here for a meal first and then head to the movies.
We had a large belle rose pizza, yum yum yum!! And we (my partner and I) could barely finish it since it's big! Very friendly service. Will come back and try other pizzas.
We opt for take-away. place is quite small, a lil run down but we love the pizzas, We had the veg supreme and the Bollywood pizzas. Yum, especially with the green chilli paste. Friendly service.

As other reviews have mentioned, it is hard to fathom how this pizzeria has garnered 4.5 stars on Zomato. I do not think it is in the realm of other restaurants in the 4.5star category -which in my opinion, 4.5stars is virtually flawless. Nonetheless, if you’re in the area you won’t be disappointed if you their wood-fried pizzas. I was particularly impressed by their Gourmet Veggie pizza (can’t remember the exact name but it was the more expensive of the two vegetarian pizzas and was $15 for medium size). The pesto sauce on it was tasty and the marinated vegetables plentiful. The quality of the ham on the Hawaiian pizza was also a special feature -it definitely tasted like deli quality with a nice Smokey flavour. The Marinara pizza would be a pass for me next time since none of the seafood had any flavour and it was obvious the seafood was store bought. The pizza base quality was fantastic across all pizzas and the bottom cooked to crunchy perfection! If you’re in the area, go give it a try but if you don’t want to be left disappointed then don’t hold them to the standard of 4.5stars 🙂
This place is unreal, pizza is off chops and it’s not oily at all. I am a huge fan and will be back soon. Staff were super friendly and gave me a big smile. Love it!

Just solid suburban pizza - nothing pretentious here. I admit that I do find its score on Zomato fascinating, but this is a place that has obviously established itself as a reliable and consistent takeaway option to its locals, and Zomato's algorithm has decided to reward them for this.
In a world of style over substance and social media presence being more important than anything else, one has to admire a business like this for keepin' it real.
We ate in last night and loved our pizzas. Takeaway is probably best as it is a pretty cosy place with just a couple tables, but we were made really welcome by the owners. Ordered the veggie and the Salmon pizza, bases were thin & crisp with the right amount of topping. We will definitely be coming back... all the way from Berwick!
The best pizza you will find in this area!! The base is a perfect thickness and it is not super cheesy / greasy. Super friendly service too and very well priced.
Solid pizza. Had the lamb. Really liked how it was crispy and not oily like you tend to get a lot around the place. It hit the spot like only amazing and wholesome food seems to do.
I would've rated it a 4, as I didn't want to go over the top, except that it is family owned and run, and the couple running it were so warm and friendly, it really defined what good customer service is all about.
Next time I'm back in the area I'll have to go for more.

Getting bored of chain stores takeaways in Chaddy, I was starving and craving with unhealthy food (and I feel guilty so instead of fish and chips I look for wood fired Pizzas!)
Belle Rose is located on a very local shopping strip in East Malvern. This is my rare moment to feel like Pizza, I walked in and thought this Bollywood Pizza is rad so I ordered one.
It was handmade and it was woodfired, price is pretty reasonable. Within My 10 minutes wait I have seen locals in and out getting their takeaways, the owners seem to enjoy themselves. The business is run by a family, nothing there is pretentious and I felt I have missed that for the last 5-10 years. (Since when all the local shopping strips became apartments?)
The pizza been packed in the box, it smells amazingly smoky with a distinctive tandoori aroma. I drove home and took a piece, no grease at all. The base is thin and light crunchy with a bit of mint yogurt drizzle and some tandoori chicken - when you are that hungry, you can't complain, it just taste like heaven!
Excellent quality pizza at really good value for money. The Mexicana was delicious with plenty of toppings and that nice wood-fired style, without being too oily or doughy. All this was topped off with friendly service making this an easy 5 star rating.
Visited this place based on the good reviews. Was a bit puzzled when I walked in as it didn't look like the type of place to produce good pizzas. The service was good and crust/base of the pizza was great. The topping on the pizza I had was pretty good but not fantastic.

Everyone thinks they can make pizza -- until they visit New York or Italy -- then the lumpen, overloaded mediocrity of 'Australia pizza' is seen for what it is--namely, a pale and inferior imitation. I am happy to say that this is not the case here. They know what they are doing, and they do it well. On an unassuming side street in the leafy side of Chadstone and virtually under the ramparts of the megalopolis itself, is Belle Rose. But don't go expecting an Italian place. Being Australia, the place is run by a salt-of-the-Earth Indian family: Mum, Dad and the two girls. When we went there (largely on the strength of a 4.9 review on Zomato--unheard of!) one lass was doing her homework on one of the tables, earplugs in ears, with the telly showing 'Horrible Histories', stopping her labours to help her parents by taking 'phone orders. Outside the back door was a pile of wood beams in disarray, a half-finished deck, and a garden of weeds. The Dad greeted us with a big smile and tended to our order with genuine pride, chatting away as he went. The place could do with a big overhaul, and a paint-job, and--by going posh--they could fill the place nightly if they wanted to, but it's the food I am reviewing, and it's the best pizza I've had since Penn Station in NYC--and that was fab. My 15-year old, in a moment of clarity said: "perfect sauce/topping ratio Dad". This is basically a take-away joint, but if you are in the area, and you want to support migrants that work hard, don't grumble (he was in front of an open-fire in 40 degree heat), and good folk who have smiles as large as Australia, then try Belle Rose. Oh, leave the car at the door of the place if it is a nice day and walk across the road to the nice park and eat your meal to the sound of frogs in the pond. It could not get much better. You got to love the 'burbs.

TASTE - as you would imagine miles better than the main chain stores. Not a mind blowing meal or anything but probably some of the best pizza I have had - I'm not a big/gourmet pizza lover so take that with a grain of salt
VALUE - not sure if there was a special on or it was accidental but our pizzas seemed cheap. The value aspect (which may have been an error) is why I'm giving this place a 4.5 instead of 4

If you like wood fired pizza this place is one of the best you'll find. Situated in a small shopping strip it caters more for takeaway but you can also dine in for a casual meal. Their bases are thin with just the right amount of topping leaving you satisfied without that full feeling. Our favourites are the Marinara, Prosciutto and Capricciosa, which comes with shaved ham instead of the usual shredded ham. Delicious!!🍕

tried the veggie supreme and bollywood - the veggie was better to taste than the chkn tandoori. felt the chicken tandoor was a bit too bland, perhaps to suit the tastes of the ones that fear the spice-factor. one of those places that you feel that it has a lot more potential than the food that you tasted could impress. may try again.
We crave for pizza so we searched on zomato and found this little pizza shop near Chadstone shopping Center. The pizza is cooked to perfection with thin base and right amount of toppings. This is exactly what we like. Spot on!!! The owners are really friendly, we will come back again soon.
This place charges like cheaper pizza places, but their quality is very high. Nice thin and crispy woodfired pizzas, not stacked in a pile ingredients, they seem to be a less is more place, but not skimpy at the same time, and the pizza is great value for the price and reminds me of pizza from Italy. Love family run smaller places where their service and friendliness is also great. Will go back...

Lovely family owned pizza place with great service. Good pizza but I couldn't get my usual favourite which is 'the lot'. I tried the belle rose which was quite tasty but no better than a many other wood fired pizza places across Melbourne we have tried. Would go back simply to support a small family owned business.

Vegetarian - wow, great combo.
Pizza base - thin and crispy. Despite bringing it home in a box, the crust was still crispy and lightly charred - YUM.
Service - quick and efficient. I also watched as they cut off thin slivers of crust that may have been too burned for their liking. They obviously put in care and love into these pizzas, and it's reflected in the taste.
Very reasonable price for that quality. Will be back as a regular customer, despite being a couple of suburbs out.@
Best pizza in vicinity and we come here often! They make an amazing margherita - I believe the margherita is a litmus of a good pizza shop since there aren't any toppings to take away from the taste of the dough & sauce.Their pizzas are not greasy at all, so I can go through quite a few slices in one go. Their service is also excellent and it's such a bonus Belle Rose is run by very honest people. The first time I ordered from them, I had an issue with my credit card and before I could fish out another card to pay, the owner told me not to worry and that I can pay them another time! Like who does that?! Anyways, I'd say to treat this like a take away only place as the decor is rather dated. Other than that, we are extremely happy with Belle Rose and the quality of their pizzas!
Tried this place for the first time based on reviews and it's reputation held up. We ordered the Bollywood gourmet pizza which I believe is their signature dish apart from the Belle Rose pizza. Tandoori marinated chicken was tender, the crushed cashew nuts crunchy, the cheese stringy, and the mint yoghurt and so on made for a delicious combination. The flavours came together really well and the thin crispy base held its form despite the heaped toppings.
Service was prompt and friendly. This is a family run business and as we chose to dine in, we were served by the owner's very young daughter who came over several times to check if we needed anything.
I would come back but probably order take away as the decor does need an uplift. If they ever choose to refurbish the place, I would suggest they add salads to their menu to round out a family meal.
It's great living 1km from here. I was a little bit cynical about all of the great reviews at first, however the pizza really is that good!
The crusts are absolutely spot-on: thin and crispy enough, but with enough dough. The tomato base is sensational and the toppings are also great. Prices are also very reasonable, and the owners are lovely. We really cannot fault this place.
Don't bother with Lygon St or Brunswick for good pizza in Melbourne, Belle Rose in East Malvern has got it well and truly covered!
Very good experience! It is my first time taste wood fired pizza ! Very lovely family . I am very recommended you to go there and taste it! I chat with them. The chef said this delicacy is only from the wood stove oven. He also gave the cola to me as a gift. He said it is so happy to hear that I enjoy his pizza.

Top Quality!!! - So we tried the Mexican pizza. A large one. Placed the order by phone. On arrival, was pleasantly greeted and advised that our pizza will be a few more minutes. The place is clean and vibrant. Got the pizza home, opened it up and it looked amazing. Actually looked really healthy lol. ie something you would be convinced is good for you. The base was fresh and perfect. Not thick and doughy. The sauce was flavorsome and the toppings were individually amazing!! For such a simple pizza, it really did hit the spot. Will definitely be going back, hurry up and order!!!!
Well, I've been waiting for sometime to try this place and finally the opportunity arrived. Would never of picked it, been driving past for years and have never noticed it! The venue could do with a much needed uplift. That's the only nuance that stood out. Having said that the pizza was very nice, thin and crispy cooked to perfection, just enough topping, all genuine products, no manufactured cheese or meat product. Hosts were friendly people, all in all a delightful adventure.

Tried this place again last night after new owners took over. It was delish and the menu is now really extensive. My children loved their pasta napoli and the pizzas were really really good.
Their gluten free base had improved and my pizza had plenty of lovely flavours.

Hidden gem... literally. The next time you're looking for a pizza to satisfy a craving, you MUST try this hidden local gem. Living in the neighborhood, daily do we drive down Chadstone Rd without a second glance at the unglamorous shop frontages tucked into this strip of shops. After a thorough Urbanspoon search and a 95% rating, we figured this pizza cafe was worthy of a try. It not only catered to my gluten free needs with the best GF pizza base I've had outside of home, but the toppings were fresh, very plentiful and that tomato sauce on the thin wood fired base, were all heavenly. My partner's Capriciossa and my GF Vegetarian Supreme were both excellent and we must commend the sweet family business owner's who hand over your delicious pizzas with a smile too. We'll be back, thanks guys!

And everyone knows what their pizzas are normally like. Hit and miss, usually pretty generic stuff.
But then there is Belle Rose. Tucked away in the tiniest of shopping strips barely 300 metres from Chadstone shopping centre.
The pizzas are cooked with love, in a very family-oriented environment.
Thin crusts. Smoky taste.
I have tried quite a few of their pizzas with various friends, and the response is the same every time: wow, this is great! Its always a surprise.
After a voyage of discovery I made up my own and have trouble straying from it: a Vegetarian Supreme with ham and feta..the Richard Special! Try it...the aioli just rounds it off perfectly!
The ingredients and quality are simply not what you get from a local pizza place - I have found them far better. Real food!

Oh wow. Having to be in the eastern suburbs today I was looking forward to a really nice wood fire pizza which I was told existed at a pizza place in Oakleigh (will remain nameless). Upon arriving the place didn't really look appealing so I ripped out my trusty Urbanspoon app and found Belle Rose to be the highest rated in the area.
Having just eaten here I'm really sad and conflicted, not because Belle Rose is bad, but because the taste of the pizza flavors we had were so absolutely amazing (Philly Steak & Bollywood, highly recommend) that I feel sad because living so far away means I wouldn't be able to come here on my weekly lazy night pizza runs. For those that live in the area, so jealous because just like everyone else says, these pizza's really are so mouth watering, fresh and delicious that it's hard to articulate it sufficiently.
Looks to be family run with such nice, polite and genuine customer service. More places need to be like this.

Great local pizza!. Tried Belle Rose for the first time tonight... Half Lamb, Half Pescatore and a Penne Bolognese. Best pizza place we've found, plenty of fresh topping and a thin and crispy base! Pasta was home-style with plenty of sauce. Will definitely be back!
Pizzas are delicious and they put on a decent amount of topping. I don't have cheese so it's noticeable if a store is stingy with their toppings. But.... they have yet to get a phone order correct! Either they add cheese or don't put on the extra toppings ordered. I would say try these delicious pizzas but always check your order before paying.

Pizza with Pizazz. Wow, what a hidden gem. Been meaning to try this little local place for ages, and upon seeing all the other great reviews, decided to giv it a go tonight. We were not disappointed. I had veggie supreme and my son, meatlovers. Yum. The pizza is delicious, super crunchy thin base piled high with tasty, top quality toppings. And to top it off - A1 customer service! This is a really good small, family run bussiness. Really lovely, kind and accommodating owners who are doing a really great job. Other pizza places in the area are over priced and have rubbish service, but here the priced are fair and the service makes it a bussiness worth supporting. Pretty normal times for making food, and I just tried the pasta for the first time and it was a tasty alternative to pizza for the night. Pretty chuffed, East Malvern/Chadstone community should get on it!

Best Pizza in Melbourne!! My family goes to Belle Rose frequently & we have tried all the so called best pizza places in Melbourne, which we end up finding underwhelming & overpriced. The pizza here is amazing & affordable. Sanjay makes my family a special extra large American-style pizza, so I don't miss New York so much. He & his family own & run the cafe & they are lovely.
Great Pizza. This intimate family-run pizza shop is a hidden gem. It can be busy on a Friday or Saturday night as locals in the know arrive for their favourite take-away. There is a great range of standard and gourmet pizzas at good prices. The bases are light and crispy and the toppings are tasty - all made to order with fresh, quality ingredients. My favourite is a half Mexican, half Vegetarian Supreme. The Bollywood and Belle Rose are also hard to beat. Yum!
