Review Jasmine Vietnamese Restaurant - Malvern

Amazing. Finally there is a new owner in this place. The best Vietnamese food I have had in Melbourne. Authentic, tasty and well priced. The Spring Rolls are home made and absolutely incredible. Will be working my way through the menu!! The new owner and staff are really friendly. Will be back for sure. Highly recommend it. They are also opening for lunch!! Yum!!

A great local family restaurant. We really enjoyed our meal here. It opens at 5.30pm so great to take the kids to an early dinner or get some takeaway. I really enjoyed the Vietnamese crepe and the spring rolls are delicious. This restaurant has changed hands many times over the last few years and locals have a hard time keeping up. The current owners are really nice people and this restaurant deserves to be busier.

Less than average restaurant. Read all good reviews and went to experience just basic dishes. Not good customer service. The all in one owner was rushing us to order as we entered even though there was hour and 45 minutes to close. There were just us and two other people in the whole restaurant on a Saturday evening. Fried calamari was chewy like rubber and when informed about it (since he asked us how the food was), he gave a very hostile look. Since that time till we left, he just ignored us. Bad customer service and lower than average food with high price tag. Will never visit again.

What a Gem! | A tasty offering in the heart of Darling. Friendly service from the owner who has had other successful restaurants. As group of four, we attended as walk-ins, and due to the fluctuating demands in a new business, they were not staffed accordingly. However, the owner got out of the kitchen and made sure the 30+ patrons were being looked after and ensured the night was pleasant.

Just popped in to Jasmine Thai next door to the car wash. Great food at a good price. The owner is a wonderful man. Support this local business please . I will definitely be going there at least once a week from now on.

We're visitors from Adelaide and were on the way back from St Kilda to our hotel when we stopped at this restaurant for dinner. The food was surprisedly delicious with our four boys cleaning up all the 6 dishes we had ordered. We had dinners at Chinese/Vietnamese restaurants in Chinatown in the past few days here but the food at Jasmine's are far tastier...even compared to Adelaide's famous Ying Chow. The restaurant was understaffed for the number of tables that were there but the service from the owner and the amazing food made up for this. Well done to the owner and his staff-we'll definitely be back the next time we're in Melbourne.

Very nice owner and great food. The stuffed chicken wings were incredible. Such a shame the place is always empty, definitely underrated

This restaurant is under new management and would have to be one of the best in the Malvern East and Glen Iris area we have tried in many years. All the dishes we had were very tasty. The restaurant serves both Vietnamese and Chinese style food. The owner/chef is very experienced and knows how to make delicious food - whether it's soups, Pho, curries or desserts.

Beautifully calm atmosphere, huge portions, delicious flavours, and pleasant for the wallet as well. Hope to come back soon and often. The satay dip was insanely good!

Great food, friendly service. My kids had pho which they love. We had the sizzling satay chicken. It was very good. Also had a pancake which was good. The chef delivered the main meals to us and told us he had been opened for 5 months, having come from a different suburb. Definitely give Jasmine a go.<br/>

Definitely the best Vietnamese restaurant in Melbourne.  The atmosphere is lovely and food is amazing, used to go all the time when owner was in Edithvale and missed his food when he closed down so happy that he has opened a new restaurant a lot further to travel but is worth it for his great food. Can't fault any of his dishes over the years at the old restaurant have tried them all and happy to be able to partake in this wonderful Vietnamese food again. Would recommend to anyone have been twice since he opened and will be again very soon.
