Review Soul Bird Cafe - Malvern

Saturday Night Beaver
This place does a sensational job in satisfying your breakfast / lunch cravings. Incredibly tasty food at very reasonable prices all located in an intimate space with friendly staff. If you're a fan of cheesy French sandwiches and Reubens then you can do no wrong coming here.

The perfect brunch spot. I had 2 coffees, they were sooo good! The corn and zucchini fritters are delicious/ so moreish. I think its very reasonably priced for such good quality in Malvern.

The food and coffee here are always top notch, especially the Almond Milk Lattes and the Thick cut Otway Bacon! I'm always disappointed with almond milk latte as they are always bitter But NOT here at Soul Bird, they are smooth and creamy and the best I've had! Keep up the great work!

Lovely new cafe with a good sized menu

I had the omelette and a latte.

Coffee was mild and good, omelette was a big serving and very enjoyable.

The cafe was a bit warm on a not so warm day and may need some more aircon.

I will return. Would give 4.5 stars if I could

Had a very lovely time there today! Great coffee and appetising food, with good portions! Lovely neighbourhood gem!
Would definitely revisit again and try out the rest of their menu!

If found the coffee to be really average. Need to step it up to compete with the rest of Melbourne's great coffee culture. The food was ok but nothing wow-worthy

Have dined here a few times now and I've never been disappointed. Soul Birds coffee is strong and suits a true melbournian and the food, well it's delicious and simple. Great flavours and presentation, and the chef accomadates for allergies and tolerances (even dislikes) with out a complaint. And finally the service is friendly and professional. Overall a happy casual comfy cafe for a great feed.

Had a lovely brunch of smoked salmon on potato rosti with a perfect poached egg. Topped with a lovely dollop of something saucy and delicious. The coffee is freshly ground and served Italian style by friendly barista. Great to chat to chef Matt through the servery window.
