This place has consistently good Indian food. I usually get the chicken tandoori and the butter chicken. The lamb chops are especially good. It has BYO. If then prices were a little lower I'd rate higher. That's my only gripe.

Thankyou to the chef for
Good yummy tasty curries!
Naans were delicious also
If we were to be in this area again my husband and i know where to eat :)
Small business that did well to provide delicious food and great service- both at a very reasonable price. House wine was cheap and super tasty as well.
Had some of the best Indian I've had in a while at this place last night! Such good value for money. Was able to order two meals, rice, naan and two glasses of wine for $54! Food was huge. Amazing flavours. The thickest naan bread I've ever had! Definitely be back here again in the future!
Great food. The food here always tastes delicious. The restaurant has a uniquely pleasant ambience and the service is impeccable. Highly recommend it if you're thinking of treating your tastebuds with Indian food.
There is little particularly extraordinary about his restaurant. The food was really nice with strong, fresh flavours. The menu listed a good variety of the usual Indian fare with the typical mild to hot dishes available. The price is very much on par with restaurants of this. I didn't try the wine list and the beer on offer came in at $6 to $7 for premium varieties. I am surprised about other reviews on the service standards. Service wasn't particularly quick, however, this made for a relaxing evening.
Amazing food. If your after great Indian food this is the place. But if your after great decor or atmosphere this isn't the place. Look passed the decor and enjoy the food. Lovely services as well.
Good Vindaloo. I've tried a couple of curries here and have no complaints. I go here in mostly for vindaloo though, which is most satisfactory. My regular vendor insists on the addition of potatoes to their vindaloo, a practise I cannot abide.
The take away experience here is somewhat uncomfortable though. Patrons have an option to sit in a narrow corridor, and there is no formal reception or greeting desk, the proprietor just sits at a table. A little bit of organisation could improve this restaurant considerably.
Beautiful food! Boyfriend and I got a sizzling Tawa and the butter chicken to share- really fresh and aromatic, full of flavour :) the naan was amazing, soft but slightly crisp on the outside!
However If I were to come back I would definitely opt for take out just like most people have said- as it was abit awkward at times - we did wait at the door for a good 3 minutes before a greet and seat, and waited maybe 10 until our order was taken. also the restaurant is little and at the time we went there was no music and we had the restaurant to ourselves.. Haha.
Other than that- highly recommend :)
We have been eating here for years and never disappointed. Delicious from first to the last mouthful . Love the gobi pakora, lamb rogan Josh !! I could eat it every night
Excellent food and atmosphere, highly recommended! Def be back
Good Food!. My wife and I have been taking away from the Indian Harvest for a number years now and also dining in for Birthdays. The standard of the food has always been of the highest quality, with authentic Indian spices. Love the Beef Vindaloo and Burra Kabob!
Fantastic North Indian Cuisine!
The serving sizes are generous. Orders are always delivered on time or before...Fresh, authentic and great value.
Best indian cuisine in Melbourne.. We held a birthday party at this restaurant and we had an amazing time the place has a friendly atmosphere and the service was very quick and efficient. The food was second to none. Will definitely be going back!
A hidden gem. Been coming here for years, lovely owners, friendly staff and last but definitely not least, DELICIOUS FOOD!!!. Recommend the lamb chops, very juicy and tender.
Been there plenty of times and this place has never disappointed me. Look out for the chefs speciality Murgh Musalam
Friendly service and lovely food. Run by the same family for many years this is one of the most welcoming restaurant's you'll ever enter. The food is of good and consistent quality and nothing is ever too much trouble. This is a great Indian Restaurant to take your children to to introduce them to new tastes. Take the time to visit and enjoy and chat with the owners because they are lovely
Chief special - curry chicken
Roti
Best Indian food in Melbourne - bar none. I normally am not a fan of Indian food - I find them all to have the same uninspiring curry taste. Very few places have enough of a point of difference for me to even bother.
Indian Harvest is the exception.
Their tandoor must work some serious magic - the Chicken Tikka entree is perfectly seasoned and charred, without that fake orange/citrus mess that most Indian restaurants serve up.
Highlight in the mains area are the Kohlapuri chicken, a coconut and coriander chicken delight, and the Chicken Badam Malai.
Worth the trip for takeaway, have dined in - but the serving sizes are not as generous.
My boyfriend and I tried this place out. We were a little iffy about the lack of people there at first but were extremely delighted and surprised with the amazing food and friendly customer service. The garlic naan is so fresh. Very affordable too. Definitely going back. :)
Beef Dalcha Hyderabadi delicious.. Beef Dalcha Hyderabadi.
A specially selected cut of beef cooked with curry and yellow lentils. A nawabi favourite.
Great Beef Dalcha curry, smooth, hot and the yellow lentils crunchy and make for a nice little "party in the mouth" experience. Good garlic naan and OK chicken tandoori. Ambience was a bit average, not bad but a little normal with not a heap of decoration, and no music. Service was ok, not particularly friendly. Overall YES for the Beef Dalcha, but wouldn't come with a group due to lack of ambience & friendly service. BH.
Excellent Saag and Rogan Josh
Still yet to find another Indian place in melbourne I like as much as this one. The sauces are thick and tasty and the naan crispy and chewy. A favourite.
Good suburban Indian food. Generous serves for the price. Extensive menu. Nothing to complain about here.
Delicious food & good takeaway. Failsafe takeaway & great dishes !
Good curry, good service, good price. We got take away and it was pretty darn good. The chicken tikka masala and beef pasanda were fantastic. We ordered a double (full) serve of the tandoori chicken and the one sever was pretty good, the other didn't taste nearly as good and neither of us went back for more of it.
Would certainly recommend this place and if you're having a party of about 20 people, eat in!!
Great food nice people good prices exept the store is small just get takeaway but I recomend go there
Great food, nice people, reasonable prices.
A fantastic Indian restaurant. So far not a bad meal there.
