Review Fontana Pizza - Malvern

Dreadful pizza. Bland and flavourless. And the pizza base was awful. Not traditional or home style or tasty in any way. The base had a weird bread-like consistency. The churros came with Nutella mini-packets. Extremely disappointing. Never order again. I write this review hoping they improve. Thanks for your response - how odd that you say delivery changes the flavour of the pizza. We actually picked up the pizzas from the restaurant- it was NOT delivered.

We walked past the other day and saw everyone was wearing their face masks properly, so we made a mental note to support a local business doing the right thing. So we ordered today. Not a single one of the people working was wearing a face mask even remotely properly. The one that was the best was wearing it under his chin. I got 2 hairs on my pizza! What hope is there for them to wear a hairnet when face masks are seemingly optional. Will not return here.

Ordered food at half 6, delivery for 7:10, first phone call at 7:30 we where told the driver had already set off and was on way to deliver, the next 3 phone calls they said the driver had set off and was 2 minutes away (our house is a 10min drive away), blatantly lied to us each time we phoned them, pizza came cold and more than 2 hours late, if the pizza was amazing this would have made up for it a little bit…unfortunately it wasn’t. Promised a refund over the phone (which we never got) then hung the phone up on us, all we wanted was some Friday night pizza and chips. Would never go there again.

It was my First time and it was the best Pizza and Ribs and not to mention the garlic bread was delicious too. The family and I will definitely be back. Fontana Pizza you got yourself some regulars that’s for sure ! Thank you for a delicious dinner.

Stone based owen pizza certainly tastes better, my friend takes me there once and now its my all time favorite. Best pizza in the area. Don't forget to try their special one. You will love it for sure.

Ordered a pizza at 7 and at 9:15 I received a cold pizza from a driver wearing a mask on his chin. Amending my review to clarify that my pizza was NOT delivered by an Uber eats delivery driver as I was unable to track the order in the Uber eats app. If it were an Uber eats delivery driver I would have given them a poor review instead. However, I did not have this option as the driver was supplied by your restaurant.

Saying that my experience tonight with Fontana pizza restaurant was less than satisfactory is well and truly an understatement. Delivery was an hour and a half late. They must have closed the order on menu log so I couldn't track the progress. And when it did come it was inedible slop where the only seasoning seemed to be salt. Pizza dough was half cooked. (Ordered the Hawaiian, supreme and Italian pizza, pork ribs, pumpkin risotto and garlic bread) Can understand having bad night but this was a joke.

Moved into the area not long ago and these guys really do make great pizzas for a decent price. Easily my go to place!

The cost for a pizza here is quite high for low quality takeaway. I will return if I'm starving since the place is like 100m away. Friendly staff. I'm probably just going to work on not reaching a starving point and spend a bit extra on my pursuit of authentic wood fired pizza.

It serves a good takeaway pizza. I appreciate the thin base and the good quality toppings. Not dirt cheap but a medium price pizza that is good value.

Fontana pizza is not expensive and is clearly just for takeaway meals. The food is good and the service is very fast. It is ideal when no one can be bothered cooking and you don't want to travel far to get food!

Good taste. Nice thin base. Fresh ingredients. Right components. Excellent pizza at an affordable price! Hot on arrival. Quick delivery. Very satisfied.

Nice pizza tasty, fresh toppings.. A little too expensive but only a little bit. Arrived piping hot but twenty minutes early. Quoted times are important both sides of the time.

Great pizza.. We regularly pick up our orders from Fontana and have found the pizza to be consistently fantastic. It is on par with the best locally and superior to others we have tried in the area. Well balanced toppings and plenty of variety to choose from.

Great Pizza. Have a friend that lives in the area and we ordered 2 Pizza's to watch the football.<br/>The Gourmet Pizza where great. Mediterranean and the Chorizo. wait was only 15min.<br/>not sure what the other people are complaining about.

Fontana could almost serve the worst pizza ever.... Ordered 1x Large Hawaiian and 1x Large Margherita pizza for the kids - the Marg was salty and soggy, the base thin and tasteless and the crust burnt. The Hawaiin not much better, soggy again, no crust and the tiny it visible was burnt - both were sooo oily, they were in edible. It was so bad even the kids wouldn't eat it. Also ordered Penne Carbonara - the egg looked cuddled, clearly just reheated in a microwave. AND the bottle of Lift was flat - all after waiting 1hr5 mins after being told 45mins. Paid $50, it was nothing short of disgraceful, and I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Steer clear! plenty of other places that serve a meal you can actually eat...

Late delivery AGAIN. I ordered pizza at 5.30. It is 7.30 and my order has not arrived despite the face they said it would only be a 40 minute wait. I called up and queried it - no apology. Ridiculous.

Crap service. Cold food. We ordered pizza and salad tonight <br/>When it was over 80 mins and our order had not arrived we called and asked what was going on. Usually takes only 35-40 min max. <br/>We were told we had been informed at booking on delay which was a cover up for stuffing up the order.<br/>Our order arrived fifteen mins later and we ended up with cold food and the delivery man apologising for getting the address wrong. What a stuff up!<br/>We were once loyal customers but now this has been the worst thing that could have happened. The food arriving stone cold of which we had to put in oven to heat up. We were offered a minimal store credit for our next order was pittance and little to rectify the situation. They assumed we would come back still- how wrong their judgement was<br/>So disappointed and def won't be recommending anymore to the locals in the area.<br/><br/>Worst delivery and food delivery ever.

Try any of their Gourmet Pizzas they are awesome!

Soggy horrible bases. Really disappointing. Second time I have tried them thinking first time was just a once off but the second time just as bad. Just absolutely disappointing pizza.

Pizza to die for.. I know it sounds like an oxymoron, but this pizza -almost- feels like it's healthy, or at least relatively so. Amazing ingredients (especially the meats, great quality lamb, chicken, chorizo etc), not greasy at all and a light, crispy crust. <br/><br/>The BBQ chicken and Greek Island (the pesto on this pizza is a.m.a.z.i.n.g) pizzas are our go-tos. I am unashamed to admit that we have sampled the majority of the menu and everything we've tried has been delicious.<br/><br/>The risotto and salads are great too! Yum!

Fast service and good pizza. Have been ordering from Fontana for the past 2 years and only once had an order delivered later than they specified. Most of the time it takes up to 1hr but have received SMS stating that it will be longer. Pizzas are so far the best for traditional in this area. Use to order around 10 years ago and they have still kept up the standards that i remember.<br/>Please remember when doing a review that if ordering on Holiday's especially xmas so are many others. You should at least give them a second chance.

Shocking service & pizza to match. Took them 1hr & 30mins to deliver, 3 phone calls, rudest staff I've ever encountered & an ordinary pizza. Stay away from this place.

Great gourmet pizza. I have been a customer for a few months now. Previously I have only tried the traditional pizzas but tonight I tried the gourmet moroccan lamb pizza for the first time. I found it to be a reasonable price for such a good product. Very enjoyable!

Great pizza!. I ordered from Fontana Pizza recently for the first time and found the pizza to be very tasty. I was a little worried about the delivery times after reading the other reviews, but my order arrived on time and hot. I would recommend anyone trying this pizza!

2 Hour wait for poor pizzas. After waiting an hour and a half for an order on which delivery time was quoted as 30 to 45 minutes finally decided to ring and check what was going on. Lame excuses " we're really busy" and had no answer to the simple question "why didn't you call us on the phone number you took with the order?" Pizzas finally arrived after another half hour. To add disappointment to the ridiculous delivery time they were extremely ordinary. Definitely not the gourmet pizzas they are represented as and grossly overpriced as a result. Steer clear.

Never again. We ordered delivery 1 month ago and it took 2 hours to be delivered 600m down the road from the store! Pizza and pasta was the oiliest I have ever seen, we felt sick afterwards. After a complaint to the store we were offered a credit. We then reordered last night, and the staff seemed very confused about the credit, but eventually honored it, second time round was only just acceptable, so with other pizza restaurants nearby, we wont be coming back. The restaurant boasts brand name ingredients on their gourmet range. The cheese was definately not the iconic brand claimed. A lot of improvement required.
