Review Aubergine - Malvern

Ridiculously long wait for breakfast this morning - and I was the only person in the cafe for most of that time. :/ The Berry Ricotta Toast arrived cold and was on white bread rather than the Rye bread specified on the menu. As can be seen in the photo, it is a simple dish and should not have taken *that* long to prepare in a quiet cafe. The toast was actually my second choice for breakfast as apparently the breakfast trifle was not available. The soy chai latte arrived in a more timley manner but was very weak in flavour. :(

The bacon tart was so yummy and very fresh 😊 ate it too quickly to take a photo. Coffee isn’t too bad otherwise I give it a five stars. Polite and helpful staff.

Very bad and slow service. We ordered 2 coffee never came... it was not even busy (only 3 patrons). After 10 minutes no one even start making coffee. So we ask for ourmoney back. He just gave our money back without even say sorry. They are clueless and hopeless.

No atmosphere, staff are very pushy with add ons and pressure you into purchasing more. Menu provided to the table had no prices on it, I honestly feel robbed by the price of those two meagre little meals, the only nice thing I can say for the place is it does a good hot chocolate.

Amazing food and wonderful staff who help in any way they can to give you a positive experience and meet your dietary requirements. Highly recommend!

No atmosphere. Watery coffee, burger was cold in the middle then they microwaved it and it was soggy and STILL a bit cold in the middle! Avoid if at all possible.

Very basic menu, good just for coffee. Service was not good either, they messed up my order, even though there were not many people in the cafe.

Sooooo disorganized. Barista refuses to pour more than one coffee at a time it seems. 10 mins for a take away coffee in a near empty cafe is not good. Coffee also very average.

The food was delicious although there's not much variety. The cafe had a nice decor with a homely feel. The food was on the pricy side. Coffee was average.

This little cafe has a homely feel, with friendly staff and a small but nice food menu. The menu has all the typical cafe style breakfast items with a nice selection of pastries in offer. The coffee was nice and creamy. Was pleasantly surprised found this morning.

Try the in flight sandwich - egg salad ham and avocado. Absolutely yum. Home made cakes are always yummy as well. Recently changed hands. However still pretty consistent. Enjoy

So/so. Service not great (at all). Food was reallllyy good (although not much to choose from). However it was so incredibly expensive, probably won't be going back.

Love this place. The food is so delicious and same goes for the coffee. Everything in store is reasonably priced and the staff are very kind and always smiling. Aubergine is child friendly and the little tea cups they have for children are the cutest things I have ever seen. I have tried their catering too and it was absolutely fabulous!! One of my favourite places to go!

Great little cafe!!. Love this place, staff are very friendly and easy to chat with, I work across the street and the coffee is generally great ... sandwiches are always top notch ... really nice ingredients, just a nice vibed little low key local really :) Keep it up guys. Ps. very reaosnable prices, saw some reviews above that seemed outrageous re price, its the cheapest coffee and sandwich option on the strip, I have lived here for over 20 years!

Yummy. This little cafe was fantastic!! Homemade goodies and lots of yummy things to take home. I had breakfast which was delicious. Well worth try.

Great for coffee with friends. I caught up with a few friends for coffee here, not having been before. Very relaxing atmosphere and the carrot cake was delicious! I'll be back.

Sarah. My favourite cafe in the Malvern area. Food is always beautiful and service is great. Staff always up for some trivial conversation that makes you laugh. Coffee is definitely best in the area.

Lou Diviny. Aubergine is a great cafe. Friendly staff, great coffee and my children go crazy for their choc chip cookies. Great produce too at very reasonable prices. Give it a try

Coffee not great always too hot. Price is expensive even just for a small sandwich. And service is terrible, the ladies never smile at least the guy does.
