Review Sakura Sushi Bar Malvern - Malvern

Very gross. I came here because I saw it had great reviews and I normally love sushi trains. However, I cut my mouth on a tempura prawn roll because the tail was hidden under the sauce. The avocado used was rotten and brown and the chicken was undercooked to the point where it was pink and raw 😳

Extremely over priced (paid $7 for this (see photo) and it was given to me like that). Staff couldn't keep track of costumers and mixed up orders. They lied about the size of the sushi when I asked. Didn't even offer soy sauce, chopsticks or drinks. Usually it's okay service but today was just appalling.

Went to the Miyabi Sushi Train outlet at Unley. Good service. Busy with patrons. Fresh sashimi. Good array of sushi. Love their unagi and soft shell crabs. Their edamame is piping hot!! Will definitely recommend and return!

Food was tasty and good value. Ordered two bentos off the menu - took a long time to cook, so I guess everything was freshly cooked and haven't been sitting in the food warmer. Not all bentos on the menu was available which was disappointing- I had to go with my third choice as they didn't have the other two.

The new shop open now . Looks really nice.

Came for dinner and the booth we were in was filthy. Soy sauce all over the floor and on the ordering screen. Sushi, chopsticks and edamame on the floor as well. There was also a lipstick stain on the cup of water I unfortunately drank from until I realised. Presumably they're supposed to be more vigilant with cleaning due to Covid, but obviously they don't care. Never coming back.

I went here for nearly a year, then today after the renovation all their prices have gone up significantly. I got the Ramen soup and the meat was off. Couldn’t eat it. I loved this place. But sad.

Nice fresh sushi and sashimi- only turn off is the young girl serving today making Karasge chicken skewers and eating the pieces while making them - yuk!

One of the best sushi takeaways on this side of the city. The sushi is always really fresh and a great selection. I have been coming here for two years and am always impressed with how good the sushi rolls and nigiri taste. The only reason it gets 4 stars and not 5 is the hot food that sits in the warmer isn't as good as some other Japanese takeaways. The made to order food ( ramen etc ) is also great for the price. It is simple Japanese done well.

The Best Sushi in Adelaide for Vegetarians!. I'm a Vegetarian, and it's hard to find places, especially for sushi, that really make it with what feels like love and true attention to detail. Not to mention, one without me having some form of allergic reaction. I finally found the place. The Pumpkin Avocado in either white or brown rice. Exquisite. Cucumber Avocado and Vegetarian combo... Wow! Their soups... I dream about them. This is bordering ridiculous, but quite literally, there is nothing that I have tried from there that I have been disappointed with. Nothing. I have Never been able to say that; for Any shop. For Malvern Sakura Sushi, I CAN say that. They are truly AMAZING!!! <br/><br/>No matter where I go, whichever state, even different Sakura Sushi places, none of them compare to the taste and just amazing vegetarian food in general from Malvern Sakura Sushi. <br/><br/>I Love Malvern Sakura Sushi!
