Review Savvas Yiros - Malvern

Undoubtedly the most abysmal and miserable yiros I have ever purchased and laid eyes upon. $14.90 will summon one with an atrocity which appeared to be assembled by the staff's feet. The filling of this was severely insufficient, and provided an absolute pittance of sustenance.

DONT TRY! What a shame, purchased 2x lamb yiros with double amont of meat and small chips. I'd hate to know what normal amount of meat is because there was not much! The lamb was dry, chewy, fatty with no taste. It was expensive and the chips were soggy and without flavour. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK!

Tasty yiros. But for $14.90 it’s tiny. This is the kind of place that relies on duping people with one off purchases. No one would buy one of these for $14.90, that small and go back again. Won’t be back.

Uber failed on delivery but when i told Savvas 2 days later they went over and above to make sure we were compensated. Highly recommend these guys.

We have tried many yiros places in the area and by far these are the best and easiest to eat. So many places overfill the yiros and it all falls apart and it ends up everywhere. More is definitely not better. We won't go anywhere else now. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed

Salads lovely and fresh. Lamb not very tasty and sauce tasted weak. Lovely clean shop and service but have had better yiros’s.

tasty yiros, friendly staff, cant wait to come back again

Very disappointing. Yiro was small and very bland but expensive! Had hardly any garlic sauce and the salad was tasteless. Had to pay extra for tabouli which I’ve never had to do at a decent yiro place. Won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend.

Really expensive for what turned out to be a tiny combination yiros. Definitely smaller than other places. Chips tasted good though. Will be trying elsewhere next time

To be plain and simple, it’s just average yiros. Sloppy, no real flavour and not super cheap. I hate giving bad reviews but this is just average. Chips were soggy and no salt, when asked for extra. This place was the best growing up. Changed owners and now it’s just below par. Will not return sorry

Poorly made meat balls. no taste. Was so horrible that i had to put the whole plate in the bin. Only outer layer was cooked. All raw inside. Not even good for a trial.

The food here is to die for, and the service is very welcoming and friendly. Thank you!

Terribly overpriced, unfriendly. Paid $20 for a "family dinner pack" and probably received just enough to feed a starving sudanese orphan- very overpriced for a bit of meat, a few potatoes and a sad excuse of a salad.

Staff were unfriendly and clearly did not care for consistent serving sizes- was very tempted not to pay for what I received. Steer clear of this place.

The yiros was overpriced for what was in it. I'm of the opinion that tabouli should be a standard ingredient of a yiros, not an 'extra'. Not impressed with just lettuce and tomato. Highly overrated place and I shall not be going back.

Beeeeest yiros & the staff are so friendly and welcoming - best thing about this local place is its run by a family & the food is good quality and filling!

I'm with bundi on this one guys been going here for years . This place is an institution in malvern , been around for 14 yrs or so ... Great food , great service . Prices are the same all over adelaide , I actually think this place is cheaper then most ... One drawback is that they don't have Eftpos facilities .
Don't know what these other clowns are talking about cause these guys are always consistent with there product unlike yiannis .

As their title suggests, yiros are their specialty with lamb, chicken, falafel and a meat combination available. Apart from that, there’s not much else with three types of salads, chips and a few plate dishes.
