Review Warung Ade Indonesian Restaurant - Mandurah

Lesley White
Very disappointed 😞 was looking forward too this too be sadly disappointed 😞 my husband waited 45min for a 🍺 ordered basil chilli prawn got chicken tastless let alone the rest of the order very disappointed. Kinnarri Rockingham best Thai since moving too WA. 110% I got a reply from ?? Silk owner and apparently they looked at CTV and my husband waited ✋️ not 45min but 5min!!! Lol i promise you it definitely was not 5min!!! As for our order we definitely did not agree to chicken we asked for PRAWNS! Do you think maybe the customer was right ?? How dare you accuse me for dumping on your restaurant. Oh also we did not eat most of our meal pictures tell the story!! I give a honest and true review as we expect what we pay for,as it's money out of our pocket and value for our money shouldn't be something we gambel on. When we left i looked back and your waitress stood at our table looked out at us shook her head with a disgusting look on her face ! Did you get that on CTV??

Amazing thai restaurant in Mandurah. Reasonably price for lunch service and terrific taste. It is worth the price. I ordered thai green curry with thai spicy level and it surprised me that the taste is "the real" spicy. The portion is generous for the price point. For the service, we had to wait a bit for the sit but the staff are friendly, the even comeback to us when we did mistakenly double order for the rice. The manager also come to us for check if the food was okay. Overall it is terrific from the service, food and taste. One of the recommended restaurants around mandurah for lunch.

The best Thai restaurant in Mandurah by far. Delicious food, great atmosphere. We love coming here regularly with family. The staff are great and very attentive. Definitely would recommend.

Delicious food in good portion sizes. Customer service was excellent and they happily accommodated our large group of 8 ladies. We had a great evening here.

Amazing food, so full of flavour. Huge portion sizes but nothing can beat the friendly customer service we received. The manager was so great and made our night great.

The best Thai restaurant I have ever been to. Impeccable friendly service with attentive care. The food was made with love ,tasted great, full of flavours and fresh. Thai hot means Thai hot 🔥 unlike other places. This is the best Thai restaurant in Mandurah, forget the rest. I will definitely be returning regularly. Thank you for a good experience.

Great food, great service, very accommodating. Definitely one of the best Thai restaurants in WA. This restaurant was so good, that we visited two nights running to try other parts of the menu. The Thai fish cakes are definitely the best I’ve ever had. I’d totally recommend this restaurant to anyone either living in or visiting Mandurah.

It’s been a week we have been there but still cannot forget the taste of the food. From entrees to main, the food was phenomenal. Best Thai food we had in Perth. Cannot wait to go there once again. Excellent customer service. My husband and friends surprised me for my birthday and they made it a success. The manager was very friendly. Thank you Silk Thai. We’ll be back soon.

I had been here previously and the food was amazing, went last night and the menu is different to what it used to be. Some other traditional foods are no longer available with the new menu... on Zomato and other websites your menu is wrong. We were disappointed as we expected different. the sate is a much smaller portion. Food was underseasoned. Old menu and previous flavours much better.

Poor serving and food is salty. Price is high and one of the staff is rude.

Absolutely love Indonesian food, sadly to say off the back of coming home from a trip to Bali the food here was nothing more than disappointing. I love my nasi and mie goreng but the mie goreng here was worse than something from wok in a box. No egg, the only egg was egg noodles instead of ramen?? Barely any chicken in it and enough sauce for it to be a soup! $70 spent here just to add another place on the list of don't even bother in Mandurah.

Very excited to see this new restaurant the first time when we visited Mandurah CBD last time. So we came back again just to try it. We picked two lunch special item but very disappointing. Despite the service was in general good, the waiter was almost carrying a good smile. However I saw through the kitchen door that the waiter also help to present one dish with the side salad by his bare hand, and he was serving around all the table and clearing the dishes right before entering the kitchen ! For our fried rice, it's totally not on par to whatever fried rice in Chinese restaurant or any Asian. The menu described with Chicken but I hardly found several small dices of chicken. Basically it's just a plain fried rice with some green peas and corns. The flavour is flat too. The mixed veggie was just with white and black pepper in flavour.

Not at all authentic Indonesian food. Empek-empek served with sweet chilli sauce... terrible. If you’re looking for Indonesian food, don’t waste your energy here.

Delicious food and friendly staff.
I will go back and highly recommend.
Especially beef rendang and rice remind me Bali.
Little Bali in Mandurah

For lovers of Indonesian food. We loved the chicken Satays and my mee goreng was delicious. Hubby loved his Chap Chay. Huge serves and good service.

We ordered the Bakmi Jamur and Mie Goreng. The Mie Goreng was very tasty, good level of spice for us and a generous serving that 1 person might struggle to finish.

The Bakmi was mediocre, only 2 meatballs (bakso) included in the dish, which is a shame seeing as any road side stall in jakarta would give 3 at a minimum. The mushroom and sauce wasn't very good either, I'd much prefer Bakmi Ayam option with diced and seasoned chicken instead.
Alex
Absolutely delicious and very authentic. The beef Rendang is out of this world. We actually ordered another serving after we tried the first. Wonderful service as well.

Good food and ambience with friendly service, at a reasonable price.
One of the best Indonesian restaurants in the Peel/Perth region. Will return!

We drove all the way to Mandurah to try this restaurant which we heard had good reviews. The staff were friendly and service was great but that is where it ends. The prices were way above average and the portions where ridiculously tiny. The flavour of the dishes were average and there are plenty Indonesian restaurants closer to the city with better food. It was a real disappointment and we will most certainly not come back.

Nice restaurant with pleasant atmosphere. Ate here on a Monday night. Friendly service. Fish cake filling was tasty with abundant taro shell. Although the menu read the sauce was sweet and sour, it was instead extremely spicy, and the fish cake came swimming in it so no way of controlling the spicyness. Nasi goreng was cute in size and left me wanting. Banana fritters were great. Would return to try out other dishes.

We love that they serve authentic Indonesian food here. We tried sautéed kangkung and whole fish balado. They tasted very nice, and come with their unique smell (balacan!) :D One thing that should be improved, they should serve the customer faster.

Indonesian restaurants are a favourite of ours. Unfortunately neither of us were very impressed with the food, so we won't be heading back. Not a bad location and it was pleasant sitting outside. Staff were friendly enough.

An absolute authentic Indonesian restaurant in the heart of Mandurah ! Will certainly delight diners who knows its true authenticity... A must go restaurant for those wanting authentic Indonesian food... Or a spicy/hot hit 🌶

As blowins from the north we were unfamilar with the location. The friendly inviting atmosphere here was very welcoming. Hate to use a cliche but "what a gem". Satays were delicious with authentic peanut sauce, close to the best we have had in Australia for a long time. Balinese chicken house special was special!

I really do not understand why this restaurant had such a high rating on TripAdviser. It was the reason I came to eat here for lunch with my partner and another couple. The lady who served us was very nice, however that is all I will compliment. I ordered the Nasi Beef Rendang and my partner had the Balinese Roast Duck. First of all, 2 out of 4 of the orders came out 5mins after ordering. Waited another 10mins only to find out they had messed up the order and those dishes were meant for another customer, who has ordered the same dishes. We had to wait another 15mins for my dish to come out and then another 10mins for the final dish to come out. We had to ask for a knife for each meal because staff did not give us the correct cutlery. Now to the food, the serving size was ridiculous. I had 3 pieces of square beef on my plate with rice and some salad. My partner's duck was mostly bone. Flavour of the food was mediocre and nothing special. Overall, we were not satisfied and won't be coming back.

When you're in Mandurah, I think this place is worth the visit. Authentic Indonesian setting, music, and definitely menu. Taste-wise... close enough if you're a beginner to Indonesian cuisine.

Lovely hostesses, clean, good selection of Indonesian menu (focus is on Javanese, Balinese, and a bit of Sumatran), and I could also get my favorite drink, young coconut juice.

When I go to Indonesian restaurant, these three things are the ones I'm most critical about: chicken satay, spring rolls, and meatball soup (bakmi bakso). At this place, sadly, I have to say that they can improve the chicken satay (smaller meat pieces and more sweet soy sauce) and the spring rolls (less oily would be great and add young bamboo shoot). The meatball soup was ok, however, and I'm glad my best friend who never tasted it would go back for more!

All in all, it's worth a visit, and I look forward to taste the other food on the menu, especially the fish cake (Pempek)!

Just had our first ( & not our last ) Take away from the restaurant.
Beef Rendang was cooked to perfection with the beef just falling apart & just the right amount of sauce to rice :-)
Nasi-Goreng also cooked to perfection & to the special request of my wife
The restaurant was clean & inviting with attentive staff & had an welcoming Indonesian theme.
I look forward to returning for a Dine-In meal in the near future
:-)

Had Nasi Goreng here, it was nice but definitely not the nicest one I've had. There wasn't enough staff there and the ones that were only seemed concerned with making money and not customer service, completely ignoring the customers seated outside for a very long time that had to go in to remind them they were there. Interrupting our conversation to try rush us to order - had not even been there 5 minutes. I also found a curly little black hair on my plate which was quite off putting.

Food was good, ordered beef Rendang and rice, was very small portion and not enough for 2 persons, stir fried vegetables was good.
Service excellent. Will come back again and order nasi goreng next time and see what that is like.

Great service and lovely food. Nice spot for a work lunch! Gotta love a local BYO. Meatball soup was delicious! They were happy to split the bill too!

Great service disappointing food
This is the 4th time and probably the last visit to this restaurant.
The food was bland and over cooked.
It's a shame as the owners are really nice people.

Beautiful Indonesian food and amazing service. We were lucky to stumble across it. Highly recommended!
I've eaten at places all across Indonesia and it's rare to find places in Australia (besides Darwin) that serve genuine Indonesian food.

Great indonesian food. We dined in on friday night, the place was busy which was a good sign. The waitress was friendly, the starters and drinks came out promptly and the food came out within 30 minutes which was okay as we were in no hurry. The food was tasty and fresh. Our table was charged $5 for byo which was okay. Overall we enjoyed dining there and we will be back.

Lovely. Now i have been when this place first opened. It was ok not a full menu but still nice. Now i went again just a few days ago and it was much nicer. The music is just like being in Bali. Food is great. Soup is tasty as. Will be back....oh and the prices are just like Bali too!!

Are all these reviews fake? Slow service where the "food" does not come out at the same time. Some things are worth the wait... Like taking the extra time to drive somewhere else

Suprisingly good!. I wouldnt normally bother with a restaurant review, but I go to say I was really impressed with this little restaurant in Mandurah. Great indonesian style food, good service and the chef (I think his name was Edi) such a pleasure to talk to and what a happy guy!...the whole experience was a pleasure ...I will defintely be back there in my travels!!!

Authentic Indonesian food at great prices.. Yesterday, we had the opportunity to try out Warung Ade and were pleasantly surprised. It is fairly simple restaurant where you immediately feel comfortable. The service is quick and friendly. The authentic Indonesian food is excellent and the price very reasonable, bearing in mind that the portions are huge. You will definitely be full after your meal. Their signature dish is Bakso or meatballs but the menu includes a number of other Indonesian dishes. I had the seafood mi goreng, which was very tasty.
You can bring your own alcohol if you like. I wish it wasn't so far for us to drive there for we would like to go there more often. Next time you are in Mandurah, give this place a try. You won't regret it.

Yummy food, friendly service, great location and atmosphere :). Have been to this wonderful restaurant twice and have enjoyed the variety of dishes on offer. The bakso (meatball soup), nasi goreng (fried rice with chicken, vegies, egg, beef satays - big serving, value for money!), mie goreng seafood (fried noodles with prawns and squid), banana fritters and es campur (icy sweet dessert with assorted fruit) were a big hit with our children. My husband and I love their melt in your mouth rib eye on the bone, beef satays (best in the west in our opinion), gado-gado (vegetables and tofu with peanut sauce - only $10, big value for money!), nasi padang (rice with beef rendang and spicy egg and egglant) and batagor. The waiters were nice and friendly and the restaurant is airconditioned, is in a nice location and has great atmosphere with beautiful background music and decor. The outdoor area was quite comfortable too. Very happy family with very happy tummies, will visit again! :)
