Review Kawloon Restaurant - Mandurah

As soon as we were greeted at the door and shown our table service was outstanding. The food was yummy and hot , very busy had to wait a little while for someone to take our order but overall worth the wait. We loved our little chocolate bear to with our dessert such a nice touch.

We ordered honey chicken, sweet n sour pork and combination fried rice through uber eats. Was quick and hot. Pork was juicy and delicious👍 Honey chicken was really good and tastes like it was made with real honey 👌 Fried rice was good but smelt a little burnt Would definitely order again.

Remarkably consistent restaurant. We have been eating here for years and each and every time they just get it right. Beautiful food, generous servings and good service. Never had a bad meal here regardless of how busy they are. Many other restaurants in the area could learn a thing or two about service and quality from Kawloon.

I have just moved into the area. Had a couple of friends down for lunch. We all agreed this is the best Asian food we have all tasted. Sooo fresh. Can highly recommend

Been here 3 times now. Food is amazing. Kawloon is always busy, good service and ambience - you can eat indoors or outdoor. Recently disappointed that they were closed due to Covid restrictions but the takeaway was worth the 20-30 minute 2 way drive.

Their combination chowmein and claypot were fine but the chilli vegetables was disappointing. The most disappointing was the man at the reception. He was inhospitable. It was odd because I read some good reviews to this restaurant. Unfortunately my husband and I does NOT feel like coming back to this restaurant anytime soon nor recommend Kawloon restaurant.

The best Chinese restaurant I've found since living in the area 😋. The robot waiter was very quick 🤪with the steaming hot delicious food too 👍👍

There were 18 of us last night and I have nothing but praise for the staff, the service and the food. Our order was attended to quickly with very little waiting time between courses. The food was hot, tender & tasty. All in all, a great evening out.

Great food at great prices, close to home, too. Very busy on Mother's Day, we had a 50 minute wait for our dinner, but it was worth it! Wasn't expensive, in fact a lot cheaper than the other Chinese restaurant we would other wise have visited. Staff great, food tremendous, service also good(apart from the wait, but it WAS busy) and well-worth the visit. 9/10.

Had Chinese last night! Food tasted great! Really enjoyed it tho we wanted a package deal but I can't have satay beef so asked to change it to a honey chicken and we would pay the difference but they weren't willing to do that. So slightly disappointing the "packages" can't be accommodated for foods you can't have. Apart from that reasonably happy!

Never disappoints. Every dish my family and I have tried has been full of flavour. Absolute delish dishes. ��

Amazing food, super fast service and fantastic staff. With a group of 9 adults and 5 kids, food was out within 10 minutes of placing our order. Extremely well priced, a great night out. Thank you!

The most DISGUSTING Chinese food Ive ever tasted! Couldn't eat the food, one bite of each dish and I completely lost my appetite due to how vile it tasted! The rice had NO flavour and the pork tasted like it had been cooked a week ago and left to dry out, worst satay ever! The spring rolls were sickening!

Just reviewing for a “friend” � my “friend” said that the satay chicken was tender and full of flavor with a side of fried rice, outstanding! My “fiends” wife had the sweet and sour pork which my “friend” also enjoyed immensely on behalf of his wife. My “friends” daughter had the satay chicken on skewers from the entree menu which was beautifully cook, slightly crispy and covered in creamy satay sauce. He highly recommended the restaurant. I hope to try it some day. �

The food was excellent but we ordered entre' and mains but the mains came out before the entres. If we had known that we wouldn't have ordered entres and we were rushed plus we had to go and get cash out at the nearby shopping centre because they wouldn't split the bill. We would go again but be more prepared.

The food was amazing, but i had to wait 1 hour 45 minutes for it. Outrageous... other people in our group had finished the entre, mains and desert and had to sit around waiting for us to get fed. Very disappointing. im giving it a 2 star rating because the food was so good but the wait was awful. Then they had the hide to charge us for takeaway containers because we were no longer hungry.

Fantasitc meals, but i couldn't finish it. 😂 definitely ordered too much. Good customer service, a great place to dine-in with the friend's and family.

Best Chinese in Mandurah! The restaurant has a great atmosphere, & we always opt in to dine in because of it. The food has great authentic flavours, & is always cooked well. Highly recommended.

I have never had a bad meal from here whether it be eat in or take away! Staff are lovely and theres always a fab atmosphere! Highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

Poor service. <br/>Stuffed up and order and been told to wait for it to be cooked again after already waiting half an hour. <br/>Will not come back here again and definitely won't recommend to anyone.

Stuffed up takeaway order, walked out without food after waiting half an hour to pick up then being told we'd have to wait another 15 minutes for a 20 minute order.

Pretty reliable for takeaways.Definitely best chinese in Mandurah,but unfortately the rest are dreadful.<br/>Get takeaways here about once a week,standard always decent enough & rarely food wasted.

Ordered takeaway, only one dish and it was horrible. My wife and i are not fussy eaters but we did not eat this. The chicken in the dish seemed like it was processed (like the stuff you see in sandwich bars, already cooked and chopped for making quick sandwiches). Tried Kawloom because of good reports from friends, perhaps just this dish was bad. Will be ordering chinese / asian from other places in future.

best chinese I have ever had and I'm 57. every dish I have had has been extremely tasty and the servings are large as well. do yourself a favour and try this place

Always hot and fresh. Lunch specials are great for a mid-week catch up with friends. Takeaway is fairly quick. Book if you want to eat in at dinner as it always seems to be busy.

Yummiest chinese food. Best chinese food ever, pretty keen to have it for dinner tonight.

Get rid of baseball cap. Went there the other day for take away...must have been the owner or his son. At the counter to pick-up the order.. No smile wearing baseball cap backwards like a punk..and half hearted thanks when he take the money..I suggest you grow up get rid of the hat while at work you look ridiculous.

Good. Great everytime minus the let down of one arrogant man who is always very rude and unfriendly. He is the let down of this place which makes my family not want to return.

Not value for money, terrible service. Food was average but definately not the best Chinese iv had. Normal pricing for Chinese but not worth the money flavour wise. Very rude unfriendly service which is off putting for dining in a restaurant

Tasty Chinese!. Dined early on a Friday night with friends, restaurant was busy even though it was quite early and frequented with take out customers! Ordered the satay chicken skewers to start followed by mongolian beef, honey chicken & fried rice to share. Portions were generous, fresh and tasty. Only complaint being a friend at the table thought her singapore noodles lacked some flavour.<br/>Service was quick, given the volume of people, prices are reasonable and the decor is refreshing as the usual standard Chinese restaurant decor leaves very little to the imagination. Would return, more likely for take away!

Regular diner, fantastic food, great prices.. Best roast duck around. Really affordable, especially the lunch specials. Even the regular menu, find that three plates of food is enough to feed my usual group of four people. Great serving sizes, great prices. Love to dine in but always book a booth in advance as the usual tables can get a bit small and noisy. Have been going here since they opened at least once a month and will keep going back as well as recommending as the best Chinese restaurant in Mandurah.

Great food and outstanding service!. We are regulars at this restaurant since it opened and have never been let down by the meals which we enjoy every time. <br/>Service is very efficient with a smile and politeness. The place is clean and orderly, not something that these restaurants are generally known for. I would recommend it to anyone who appreciates genuine Chinese cooking. <br/>The only downside we find is that the room can be very noisy when full and when small children are about.

Nice food, too loud for children. Food was very good, but if you have a young family avoid dine in as all adults drinking alcohol, too loud, not safe for my baby in highchair she was right behind lady and throughfare. Our cooldrink we ordered wasnt refrigerated and our first main dish was brought out 10 mins before the rest. Entree dinnerware needs replacing, worn and scratched. Table size too small, family of five with four dishes, we battled for room with our dinner plates. Recommend take away only.

Open Timings ??. Been there a few times during the day ( including today) but seems to be closed for some inexplicable reason...whereas the posting says open 11.00am-2.30pm today ????

Seriously Good Chinese. Wow wow wow !! This place is a hidden gem, but full of people on arrival for a pre Christmas lunch. All the dishes we ordered were just amazing.,food is well presented, tasty and very fresh. Great service too considering they were busy. I highly recommend eating here.,

Tried here for lunch after reading the good reviews, we were not disappointed. We both had short soup which was nice though I have had better wontons. Lunch dishes were plentiful and tasty will be back again !

Very good Chinese, bought takeaway and we had satay beef, chicken chow mein, honey chicken and Cantonese fried rice. All dishes were delicious and would recommend to all. It was really busy and after eating our dishes you can see why

The fried duck with plum sauce is pretty damn good! That, with Singapore noodles makes for good Lazy night in food.

Hetty. Excellent service, ambience very pleasing, wide range of selection on menu and reasonably well priced. we were both very pleased and will certainly recommend it to others.YUMMIE

The best in the area.. Our social dining group (party of 8) found this to be the best Chinese restaurant & take-away, in and around the area. It's a bit pricey, although the food has always been nice and served hot and in a timely manner.<br/>The decor inside is nicely done, but it would be better if people coming in to collect take-aways didn't have to walk right through the centre of the restaurant to do so (which makes it a bit impersonal for diners).<br/>The only real criticism is that couple of the waiters could do with brushing up on their manners by using the good old fashioned 'please' and 'thank you' as expected.<br/>Over all pretty good.

Had the best Chinese meal last night. We would recommend everyone to try it out. Food, service and cleanliness were all the best

THE Best. THE BEST Chinese quisine in WA.<br/>Absolutely delicious food, fantastic service, huge portions at very reasonable prices. Combination fried rice was packed with meats and seafood, sauces on various dishes were like smooth and tasty, and the price well, it's not often I query a bill because it is so low. Four adults, Entre's (5 dishes) Mains (6 dishes) $130........... BYO makes it more affordable too.<br/>Will be going back very soon.

Dose it matter. $9.00 for fried rice, seriously. No king prawns or other meats or vegetables, just dried up THINGS that were once food. <br/>Prawns with the VEIN still in and if you LOVE celery and onion, lots of onion you'll like the food. <br/>Sizzling steak, flavour was good but almost as thick as a thick cut steak from woollies. <br/>$60+ for 4 dishes (one being rice) buy a chiness cook book and DYI<br/>Almost forgot spring rolls, $7 vegetable spring rolls $7 didn't say vegetable so a little protein would have been nice. <br/>Might be worth a slightly longer drive fo FOOD

Mike. Went out to this place for a meal with two other couples,one from U.K.Both remarked that it was the best tasting Chinese meal they had ever eaten.For those that do not like it I suggest you stay home and have a take away pizza.We will be telling our friends that have some taste to give it a try.Thank you staff of Kawloon for a very pleasant evening.

Quality fresh food. We have eaten here a couple of times and had countless takeaways since their opening, and I can only say great things about the place. The restaurant is very nice, byo, excellent service and the food is epic! The fact that we live 2kms away means nothing, I would travel miles for the food I like, which means that is what i do, but it just so happens that this place is just around the corner. So lucky us! If you haven't tried it do so and you won't be disappointed. Thank you staff of Kowloon we have just finished another amazing dinner. Wade & sandy.

Great Chinese. Ok so it's not super cheap but it's definitely quality food. Have always had a great take away meal from here. Never eaten in but agree it would probably get really noisy cause its so popular. Staff can seem a bit unfriendly but then I haven't been to a Chinese restaurant in Perth where the staff are friendly :) this is one we definitely recommend to friends and guests at work to try while in Mandurah.

Good Quality Chinese. I am a return customer both in the restaurant and take-away; we have never been disappointed.<br/>We always have discussion about the good prices and how fresh the food is.<br/><br/>Not sure what these whingers expect for their money but this Chinese is by far the best in the region. <br/>It can get loud when its busy; it's not as spacious as one would like but the meal is nice, good size and its well priced.

Great food. It cost $350 for 15 people. All ordered a plate and we shared it around. Service was great. Highly recommend the Sweet and Sour Pork and the Mongolian Lamb. If your a local give it a try. BYO which makes it an even cheaper night!

Sooo dissappointed!! It was ridiculously expensive, didnt taste nice cat all and to top it off the people serving were really rude!!! $100 to feed roughly 3-4 people cheaper going to HJs!!
