Great food fantastic range of beers . Staff I found to be very happy friendly and helpful. Defo recommend the wedges . Top place to be !!!

We usually stay at the hotel next door every single year for the past five years and have never tried this place until tonight, we are so disappointed we didn’t come here before!

It’s more like 4 1/2 stars. Family of 4 with 3 adults and one teen. Place was clean, staff was friendly and competent. Atmosphere was inviting. I had the Belhaven pie very good, no complaints. Damn good pie. Wife had fish and chips. She preferred snapper but had cod and oily. It tasted good to me but it was her comment. Eldest son had bangers and mash. Great for the cost. Youngest son had a burger. He said it was delicious and he’d have a double if it was offered. I had a Guinness (prepared properly) and eldest had a Carlton. Tasty and cold both. Eldest son and I will be coming again for Friday.
Great pub, friendly staff and atmosphere. Was in there the other day and the kitchen was closed but the barmaid ducked out the back and made us some chips anyway... Thanks chip lady great job.
