Review Maestro & Co - Manly

Loved the food, the service was so great, Friendly staff and the atmosphere was so cool. Finally found a very nice place in Manly to have a good diner. I would definitely recommend the place to share some tapas with friends and try a different cuisine. The sangria as also very good.

We had a 65th birthday gathering in May 2022 and these guys helped to make our night amazing. The amazing food came in abundance, probably too much food but great if you're big eaters. The staff were so polite, patient and accommodating. Thank you so much for hosting a memorable evening for our family. Highly recommend!!

The moment we stepped inside we knew we were in for a treat, the atmosphere is amazing with thr dimly lit dining room and candles. It really set the scene for a romantic dinner. Food was amazing and this will now be on our list of restaurants to frequent, lamb fell off the bone and was to die for. Mushrooms were amazing and so was thr bread. Will definitely be back for more!!

Four of us shared a large selection of dishes. Every one of them totally delicious. Excellent service and friendly hosts too. Can't wait to be back in Manly and will make a bee line back here.

Absolutely loved this place, the best middle eastern food I’ve had in a long time. lovely environment and staff, very warm. Highly recommend 🔥⭐️

Had a great experience here with the family for an early dinner. Graeme was very accommodating from the point of the booking (had a high chair ready already set up for our little one) and he and the team continued to provide excellent service throughout the meal. We ordered a number of tapas to share amongst us and all were sent out surprisingly quickly. As this is more tapas style, the dish sizes aren’t ginormous like we’ve had at other middle eastern restaurants, however the quality and taste more than made up for the size. All were flavourful and seasoned well and had us wanting just a little more. In terms of ambiance, the restaurant had a laid-back vibe and although the restaurant was busy it wasn’t loud. Highly recommended.

Took friends who had never eaten Lebanese cuisine, they Loved It , let's start with the starters the kibble was awesome, the duck entree was amazing, the Lebanese bread and dips again just awesome. We then had the lamb shoulder ( the best I have eaten ) plus we then had the chicken dish as well as the barramundi dish both just amazing. To top it off we had the Meastro Mess for dessert yummy yummy the flavours were amazing . Would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Manly

It's rare to get something this new and exciting in Manly. The food was the best Middle eastern I've had in Australia - absolutely delicious. I've been lucky enough to eat here three times now and after working through the menu can say every single dish has been outstanding. What made it even better was the service. The staff were so welcoming and gave great recommendations, the owner came and chatted to us and greeted people coming in and took the time to say goodbye as people left. I'm not surprised this place is full every time I walk past. Definitely worth a (repeat) visit and even worth the boat ride from the city.

Not impressed at all... Waited well over an hour for mains while the table next to us that arrived 20mins after us got there’s well before we did. Sides for the mains came out about halfway through our wait so were mostly finished and cold by the time mains arrived. Tables are not big enough for tapas. Lamb was way too sweet. Beef cheeks too salty. For a restaurant where lamb was supposedly the star dish, no Cabernet to be found on the wine list (by the glass). The Shiraz on the list was a poor match for the sickly sweet lamb. $9 bottle of San Pellegrino served in a plastic bottle... this is small, but seriously... if you’re going to charge $9 for water, at least buy the glass bottled version. Travelling and eating out a lot, I go to a lot of restaurants and this was by far the most disappointing experience I can remember. I have no idea how they’re rated #1 in manly.

We had an awesome lunch with friends. The meals were amazing, staff were friendly and accomodating. Personally I loved the beetroot and eggplant dips, roasted cauliflower salad, grilled haloumi and 10 spice charcoal chicken but every meal was enjoyed by everyone. Will definitely be back.

I had dinner here last night with four friends and we loved it - absolutely delish!! We started with a cocktail - I recommend the Ginger Collins. We then worked our way through a few of the starter plates (dips with freshly baked bread, cauliflower, ceviche, kibbe) and the lamb main - every dish was beautifully presented and equally tasty. I can't wait to come back and try the brunch menu!!

My wife and I have eaten at Maestro 5 times in the past 12 months and have also just been in for cocktails. Every visit has been brilliant from the food, drinks and especially the service. We even had a visit from the chef on our last visit to get our thoughts on new items on the menu which is great by the way (the Harissa prawns are awesome!). Looking forward to taking to parents for a visit in Feb. Keep up the good work Maestro and we'all keep coming :)

Our waitress was lovely and attentive. Manager on was very rude though, ruined the whole experience. Food was tasty enough but not worth the price unfortunately.

This restaurant has amazing food and a great vibe. The staff are really friendly and have a great sense of humour.
I have been here twice and they have some really interesting dishes. All of the dishes I’ve eaten are packed with middle eastern flavours.

We have been wanting to visit this restaurant since it changed hands and when I was informed Lebanese food was on offer, I couldn’t book fast enough.
Our meal was original, varied and delicious!
The Harissa Prawns were fiery but I couldn’t get enough of dipping the sauce in the fresh flatbread.
The Lamb shoulder was spot on as were the trip of dips and Tassie Pinot to accompany it all.
The space had a lovely, busy vibe with a cool solo artist playing the right songs at the right volume.
Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Maestro & Co on a Sunday night - the live music was on point, happy hour was in full swing & the menu was spot on. We couldn't figure out why the place wasn't packed!

Food wise, there's a great selection of share plates to keep those you love their Mediterranean and Ottoman style foods well satisfied. Heaps of gluten free & dairy free options too which was awesome to see.

There were 4 of us and we ordered 4 small plates, 2 large & 1 side dish which in retrospect was too much - we rolled outta the joint!

My only criticism would be that the side serve of greens we ordered was not only measly in size but also soggy & tasteless. They'd been cooked almost to the point of disintegration.

Beyond that however, everything was marvelous. Great live music, awesome food & cocktails & friendly service - we'll be back!

Just had a fabulous lunch at Maestro & Co. The food was simply delicious - dips and flatbread, beef kibbe, grilled octopus wit h harissa and the most beautiful duck boreks. I want to go back for more! And great staff!

Great food and atmosphere. Although I generally find sharing plates to be small - these were well sized. Prices are a little high - but the quality of the food and service make up for it.

What a pleasant find this little restaurant was! Great atmosphere, attentive service and excellent food! In particular the whole slow-cooked lamb -$75, which fed four if us with sides. Authentic modern Lebanese food with a twist. So refreshing to find something new, creative and top shelf in Manly.

Ladies night out, and this place had the right ambience and set up for it! Share plate style food with decent selection of beverages (cocktails, wine, tea, etc) for the individual.

Small group style seating facilitated continuous conversation and created the sound of nice chatter around the restaurant all night.

The menu is simple and set out well, making it easy for "the first timer Middle Eastern food trier" to work out what they want. There are small and big sized share plates, sides, then dessert. Between four ladies we ordered cocktails, three small share plates, one big share plate, one side, dessert, tea. The babaganoush, spiced cauliflower, scallop ceviche, pork belly were really good.

Service was great. Well mannered, with the right balance of "space" versus 'attentive service'.

Location was awesome - directly on the Esplanade East opposite Manly Wharf. For a night like tonight where the weather was a perfect 24 degrees, it was the ideal venue for an after dinner stroll along the beach.

Overall we spent about $55pp including tip. It's definitely worth doing again.

Went to Manly's newest eatery Maestro & Co on Friday night. Fabulous. Elegant and flavoursome renditions of Middle Eastern food. From new slants on well-known dips to a 12 hour slow-roasted lamb shoulder served on a bed of eggplant with vegetables, via dishes of fried cauliflower, a red cabbage salad with shanklish cheese and scallop ceviche on a bed of tabbouleh with a touch of heat, it was all so fresh and delicious. The deconstructed pavlova with fresh fruits was the perfect end. So many other dishes we didn't try left for the next visit. We left full but not uncomfortable with discussions on when we might come back taking place before we hit the ferry. A definite "must-do". #maestroandco #yum #middleeasternbanquet #greatfood #manlyeats

With an incredible mix of flavours, the food was sensational, especially the amazing lamb shanks. Great ambience, and fast and friendly service, I would recommend it to anyone seeking a great night out.

I was so inspired by the food, the service and the story behind Maestro and Co. Graeme and his staff were exceptional. The dinner menu read superb, but the taste matched with no disappointments. Can't wait to go back for breakfast!

Tell your friends. This is one to watch!
