Review Manly Thai Gourmet - Manly

Who doesn’t love a $10 lunch time special? Quick and Tasty. The curry was better than the pad Thai and it was nicer dine-in then it was takeout the next day. Also, just an FYI, they close at 3pm to break between shifts before they start up again for dinner. So you need to order and eat and leave by 3 👌🏼

Great to found Thai food in Manly. The restaurant is located on the 1st level, just opposite Manly beach where Starbucks is. Try to get a table by the balcony if possible, the beach view is awesome. Pork belly stir fried with long beans is very flavourful. Fried rice is abit tasteless, Padthai is great. Our prawn tomyum is tiny but authentic.

Delicious food and generous portions at a fair price. Meals around 10 aud. It has a great ocean view, super recommend it.

We have been regulars at this restaurant for many years…..including their previous location in the arcade and until last night,, all meals have been ‘winners’. Unfortunately, on this last occasion, although the service was great, the meals were disappointing. All dishes were cold and lacked the usual flavour we have become accustomed to.

Went there with a large group and we were all impressed by the menu. The Chef's specials were sensational and a bit different to the standard Thai Cuisine. BYO wine for $5 a head is good value. Nice decor, cosy inside and reasonably priced.

The special lunch had a good quality with reasonable mount of vegetables, and the prawns were fresh and high quality. However, their service is very poor, as the waitress denied to provide some salt for us and asked us to go and collect it by ourselves!

The food was tasty. The portions were decent. The cost was great. However, we deduct a star due to them running out of spring rolls. In which, we were the first ones there at opening time.

Used to like the chicken pad thai.

Was a regular here, visit about 2x a week and stopped visiting bcs there was one time I was served with my regular order (chicken pad thai) that was cold and the noodle shaped just like been taken out from a takeaway container. Which I assume it was canceled takeaway order and been sitting around 10mins and served to me. Dude at least recook it or make a new one.

As a regular customer and person who also works in hospitality it was so disrespectful to me.

Cheap and cheerful Thai. I always get it to takeaway and know what I'm getting every time. The quality is consistent. Its very popular to the locals in Manly.

I searched nearby Thai, this one popped up , checked the reviews and scores, wow, so high, I went there tonight, ordered curry puff chicken (too sweet nothing special) satay chicken (bland),tomyum soup(warm, bland,no spice nor sour), lamb curry(warm, can't feel any curry taste) pad Thai (just a ordinary pad Thai I can get anywhere).

It's a good place overall. We ordered the pad Mee, gourmet noodles and the panang curry. The quantity was very good. Penang curry and gourmet noodles were fantastic, pad Mee was average. good value for money!

This place is awesome. I have had lunch take away 20 times and I have never been disappointed. Really nice people, fast service, good value. hmmmmm Panang curry. I think it is cash only.

All Thai restaurants are not created equal. Manly Thai Gourmet is one of the best in Sydney. Don't let its location tucked at the back of an arcade fool you. This is Thai food of the highest standard. As well as your standard curries and stir fries they have some unique original dishes that will surprise and intrigue you.
Every day they have lunch specials of up to $9. And their dinner menu will have something to please everyone. With very friendly staff and an open kitchen for you to see the high standards of health and quality, this is a must visit for anybody visiting the northern beaches.

Our Favourite Thai restaurant just about anywhere in the world. AUthentic Thai food, great dishes and awesome service. Street style setup in arcade - don't expect a fine dining atmosphere - buzzy, awesome food we go back for at least twice a month! Prices are great - typically

I love Thai cuisine in general. So noting good review on this site, visited this place for lunch. The eatery is small having seating for 4 groups or maximum accommodating 15 people. All the tables were occupied, so I decided to take-away Green Curry with Chicken (Lunch special costs $8 and dinner hours $17). Curry was very tasty and authentic. Portion comes with small serving of rice that is good for 1 person. Overall good value for money. Will visit again.

I love this little Thai cafe. Whenever I'm in Sydney I always make a special trip to Manly for this! My favourite dish is the crispy noodle salad with their special dressing. Its a party in your mouth!

Cheap and Cheerful. We have dined there quite often. Food is good quality and generous servings..Put up with the draughts and pedestrian traffic as you wash it down with your BYO.

Green curry tasted like it came from Makaysia. Dont order Barramundi as its deep fried battered and taste like fish thats been in the garbage (well not that I know thats like).

Worse Thai been to only upside is its a byo.

Not your average Thai. Really diverse gourment menu and the food was fantastic. However I found the location disturbing and the staff very oblivious - I waited 15 mins just to get a menu and plates were not cleared till we left.

Best hidden Thai in Manly. I have been a regular visiter to Manly Gourmet Thai for the last year. The place doesn't look like much hidden down a little ally near the police station but the food is amazing. This is the best Thai I have eaten and the prices are fantastic. You can regularly eat here without it costing to much. I would highly reccoment Manly Gourmet Thai. They also do BYO
