Review Ivanhoe Hotel - Manly

Burgers and fries were delicious! Had the wagyu and Barra burgers. Wasn't expecting waiting service, easygoing staff, clean premises, great venue for a casual bite near the beach. NB: if you ask for chilli sauce, they give you the chicken wing sauce, pretty tasty. The only icecream they serve is chocolate icecream, no vanilla

Got the grilled chicken salad with avocado, tomatoes and grilled corn. Pretty bland and covered in so much oil it was not very nice to eat. Shame as it looked good when it came out.

Big venue for teenagers only. The terrace is very nice. However the staff is rude and does not make any effort to satisfy their customers when they are ordering drinks. Also the food is so bad, they do not know how to serve a good basic burger.

I have only been here once and didn't order any food myself however my party had a great experience with their food. I was the drinks specialist, and must say that the bar men and women are very knowledgeable. They were also fairly priced unlike some other places in Sydney where I have only ordered approx. 6 standards and have payed upwards of $100. At the Ivanhoe I only spent around $40 for the same amount. All in all, the Ivanhoe was a great experience as by the end of the night we had a great time.

I recently had my 40th birthday at the Ivanhoe and it was flawless! The service, area, food, drinks, music, everything was just perfect. Steve and his staff were so helpful and attentive - couldn't have asked for better. I had the best time, as did all of my guests. Highly recommend

Typical pub grub that was adequate for our expectations. Nothing fancy but nothing terrible. Very reasonable prices and it did not take too long to get our meals. Good for a quick cheap and fast meal.

Went to the Ivanhoe for dinner we decided to order pizzas to share they are great. House made bases and cooked perfectly. Great selection of beers on tap and the staff were awesome. Good job guy's

I recently had my 21st birthday party in the beer garden and the night went perfectly from start to finish with thanks to Steve and his super friendly staff and their amazing attention to detail. Everyone has been raving about the night, the venue was perfect and I would definitely highly highly recommend you and your team. Thankyou again for making the night a huge success!

Spent the afternoon at The Ivanhoe on Queens Birthday Monday because it is usually a beautiful place on a sunny afternoon to watch the football. Was really disappointed with my experience! Had to ask more than a handful of times to change the channel so we could watch the football, as well as a handful more times to get heaters on outside. Once the heaters finally came on, the one near us went out within 10 minutes and after asking another 3 times, gave up and stayed cold. We would have moved but then we'd have to start the process again asking for the football to be put on in another room. Throughout this whole experience staff were overall rude and uninterested to the point we overheard them complaining about having to work the shift and they should be paid more for 'clearing tables.' I normally would not write a review like this but I don't believe I should be made feel bad for simple requests, the staff that work here just don't want to be here!

Brilliant food! Burgers to die for! Awesome drinks and a splendid cocktail menu!! Very clean tidy place, highly recommended!!

I must say, their sweet potato wedges and the salt n pepper calamari is some of the best Ive had. Very enjoyable indeed

Not enough bar staff on duty. Only 2. Big line up for drinks. We walked out and went into Sports Bar got served straight away.

Wonderful venue to have a meal. Great service, delicious food and beautiful cold beer. Definitely dine there again.

Have eaten here 3 times in the past week....wasn't extremely busy but there was quite a few people around. Service was excellent and the food was delicious and at reasonable prices! This will be our 'go to' eating place for our frequent return weeks in Manly.

atrocious service!!!! definately not enought staff on the upstairs bar for a busy hot sunday lunch, maybe more communication with your patrons would have been good, was told when we went to order that half of the menu was not available due to kitchen problems, the bar staff forgot to add one of our meals, amd one of our drinks, was told kids menu could not he done either, food was nice, what we got of it, i left as a very angry customer and will NEVER be returning! i am someone that works in hospitality and understand thngs go wrong, but communication is the key to running any bussiness, we got anything but that today!

The food and drinks were good but smoking on the dance floor???? It’s 2017. I don’t want your secondhand smoke and I’m pretty sure your bar staff don’t either. I won’t be returning purely for this reason. Today I’m coughing and feel foul purely from the smoke.

Came here for a family outing with my three young children. It wasn't busy as it was midweek. My children ordered kids meals, that suppose to come with colouring-in activities and we received nothing so my boys were a little restless. My husband and I ordered burgers and drinks. The drinks took FOREVER to arrive, mine actually arrived mid-meal time. The meals took forever, and my boys were starving. The beef patty burgers on the kids meals were sooo salty my kids couldn't eat all of them. My husband burger came about 10 mins after everyone else's. The burgers aren't a big for the price. So I found the meals overpriced for the serving portion. My husband and I ordered another round of drinks...this time I treated myself with an expensive cocktail. Let me tell you it wasn't worth the 15min wait. $18 on a cocktail that was suppose taste like mango weis bar but I struggled to taste nor detect the mango. Wouldn't return nor recommend.

Don't choose the Vegetarian Risotto. It consisted of bland arborio rice topped with veggies! That's not a risotto ... no sauce, no flavour � Extremely disappointing....

Enjoyed the view from the balcony. Delicious food an Carlton Black was outstanding. Staff were extremely friendly�

We have just had the most sensational lunch. Every bite was delicious. Excellent value for money & awesome service. We ate in the Corso Kitchen little take in or out bar.
