Review Peanut Butter Jelly - Manly

Great experience, good service and beautiful food. We tried four of the small dishes, all were cooked perfectly and presented well. The brownie bomb was a nice way to finish the evening, we will be back.

Peanut Butter Jelly it's a hidden gem in Manly. The place it's super cool, graffiti artwork, indoor and outdoor areas and a great atmosphere! We started ordering the Peanut Jelly Lager and as they say it's super easy to drink and I loved. A lovely waitress came to introduce herself and told us a little bit about the place. She did as well give us some suggestions and they were spot on! Everything we had was delicious! The dirty burger it's amazing, definitely will be back to have another one. Thanks for the awesome food and service! 10 out of 10

Actually amazing! Staff were so friendly and full of recommendations, we nearly bought the entire menu. Not too expensive either. Street style Asian food from all over the world and the seared tuna was incredible and the pork and pineapple was delicious too. All of it was nice. We topped it all off with a brownie bomb and dessert cocktails... seriously couldn't go on about it enough! Some annoying instagrammers there, too busy taking pics of the food. But I guess, why not when it looks and tastes that good!

Having received so many recommendations over the past few months about Peanut Butter Jelly, I finally gathered some friends and went for dinner this evening. We knew immediately that we were in for a wonderful experience after Adam, the owner, greeted our table with such enthusiasm and charisma. We ordered a generous array of small and large dishes and finished with dessert. Each and every dish was unique, mouthwatering and incredibly delicious. The quality was outstanding. The personal service we all received from Adam and his staff was beyond what we would typically expect in Sydney, making us feel so comfortable and ‘at home’ in their beautiful restaurant. Furthermore, the pricing was really reasonable. Peanut Butter Jelly, you are my NEW FAVOURITE RESTAURANT in all of Sydney!! Really looking forward to coming back again very soon. What an incredible experience that was! Highly recommend!!

Love this place! As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was impressed by the street art that were so attractive and colourful. Such unique and cool vibe! Coming here for dinner with family, we really enjoyed our food and drink. My personal favorites were the popcorn chicken tacos (spicy and tasty), dirty double burger (the patties were so juicy!) and s’mores brownie bomb (so rich and indulgent).

Visited Peanut Butter Jelly for their first birthday a few weeks back and was greeted with a night of unique cocktails and fantastic finger food. The location is absolutely spot on, just off the main Manly boardwalk so it's not too busy. There's a few peanut butter inspired cocktails available with the PB whisky sour my personal favourite, give it a try for sure. The selection of food we had was great, and I'll definitely have to be back to try their full menu

Well, firstly This place serve the best deserts around Manly area. Cocktails are depends who is at the bar but still one of the best in manly&area. Had a veggie burger and that was just ok as I didn’t expect whole cauliflower inside(thought was a pattie), still fine even expected something else. Toilets are clean but there is just one for each gender so sometimes you have to line up when busy. Cool music and attentive staff. VIP rooms is the best place to be 👍 will be back 100%

Adam served us and looked after us very well. We had the Mother’s Day set menu and it was great. The food was delicious and the location was cosy. Not on the busy stretch in Manly but close enough to everything else. Will certainly be back to try and Beer Can Jerk Chicken on the menu. Sounds delicious.

Wow what a bad experience! Whatever you do avoid this over priced restaurant at all costs. The table service was by far the worst I have ever experienced, they clearly have no clue what they are doing. My main (a small burger and I counted 15 chips) arriving 15min before my partner's meal arrived. We went out to have a meal TOGETHER meaning we wanted to eat TOGETHER not 15min apart...I wish I read the reviews before I decided to go to this poor excuse of a restaurant because if I did, I would have noticed this is something which happens often. We also had 2 empty glasses on the table the whole time and not once was asked if we would like some water, waited about 20 min to be served and another 20 to get our drinks when being served we where told that basically all the fish dishes on the menu were unavailable... and when we asked for the bill the waiter just slapped the bill on our table not asking how our meal or experience was, one other thing I may add is when booking a table you have to pay a $20 booking fee per person which is fair but if you don't spend up to the deposit you dont get a refund, but a gift voucher which I find to be also very bad service and unfair. The one star is for the Arancini balls they tasted amazing but all up there are so many better places in Manly to get a better meal and experience i repeat avoid at all costs... unless you want to waste your money. P.S They weren't busy at all (which they also mentioned when seating us) I counted a total of 5 tables with customers to 3 waiters.

Great tasting burgers. Not much fries with the burger. Definitely keen to come back and try the other food

Beautiful setting, beer gravy chicken and truffle fries are the best!!!

The interior is awesome here - lots of graffiti art on the walls and comfortable seating options. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The food is alright and the prices are pretty steep for the portion sizes they serve. The swordfish san choy bao was the highlight out of all the dishes. The desserts weren’t as good as expected - the brownie was quite good but not worth the price point.

Can't say I've ever had food like this before! With a humble nod to the beloved American PB&J sandwich, Peanut Butter Jelly takes the dining experience to the next level. With peanut butter in almost all the dishes and drinks, it's hard not to immediately love what's on offer here. Standouts for me though were the Pork Belly Bao, Popcorn Chicken Taco and PBJ Sandwich. Also, I'd recommend bringing a group of people to enjoy the dishes as the flavours are very VERY rich!

If you'd like to read more of my reviews, please check out my Zomato page and visit @cynthiaeats_ on Instagram for more photos!

I had an average time here which is a shame because I really looking forward to going. The food flavours just didn't work well together and was very expensive for what it was. Portion sizes were small. The drinks were good and staff friendly. The venue itself is really loud, they need some soundproofing. Overall a disappointing experience.

Personally I wasn’t impressed with the taste and especially value for money. Got the vegetarian “lasagna” which was a 1/4 roasted pumpkin with 1 sheet of pasta on it for about $30. My friend ordered the double cheeseburger and she said the same thing —bland. Neither of us would order it again or come back for food. On the up side, the cocktails were good.

Also, the lighting in the women’s toilet is non existent. I understand your dark and moody ambiance but I don’t like to walk into a public toilet in the dark. The hand drier kept stopping and starting too. Just a real frustrating experience overall let down

Are you jelly, bro? One of the most delicious meals I’ve had this year goes to Peanut Butter Jelly in Manly, and is also one of the most interesting dining experiences too. Peanut Butter Jelly is an eatery that combines street eats with street art, with a food menu inspired by everyone’s favourite childhood food the PB&J sandwich, and a handful of famous international graffiti artists, together it’s a meal to remember.

The trek to Peanut Butter Jelly in Manly from my inner west bubble was well worth it. I loved everything about Peanut Butter Jelly: from the wall art to the friendly and attentive service to the scrumptious breakfast menu.

Their breakfast offering is far from boring and definitely up with the best in Sydney. I loved my pulled pork pancake rolls (pictured): the serving was just right and I couldn’t get enough of the maple mayo.

The peanut butter jelly sandwich (pictured) is also part of the main menu, served as a dessert. The toasted brioche bun is so light and is filled with smooth peanut butter, marshmallow and poached strawberry jam. It’s heaven on a plate.

The vibes, the food and friendly service reminds me of the cool cafes in Melbourne. I can’t wait to visit for dinner. Not just for the food but to try their cocktails. #peanutbutterjelly
Forking Around Sydney
If it's funky and cool you want in the northern beaches of Sydney, then you can't go much wrong with Peanut Butter Jelly.

The street art dominating almost every wall of the venue is wonderfully bright, while the global fusion street food dishes are exciting and tasty.

For the savoury dishes, the popcorn chicken tacos and peanut butter chicken skewers were excellent. The chicken nuggets were perfectly fried and crunchy, pairing very well with charred leek and slightly spicy habanero relish, while the juicy and tender chicken skewers smothered with a peanut butter sesame dressing were sweet, salty, and moreish.

The lone dessert we tried (The Twinkee) was totally decadent, with a tart lime cheesecake ice cream wrapped in coconut cake, crispy batter, and deep-fried then slotted onto an ice cream stick. They tried too hard with its presentation (what's with the blood splatter look?) but it was a fun and sweet way to finish the meal.

If you're in the area, then Peanut Butter Jelly is a great choice for fun food and atmosphere.

Great food, service and vibe! Itching again for a PBJ Whiskey Sour and highly recommend the Peanut Butter Jelly sandwich for a unique take on desert.

Great atmosphere and vibe, friendly service and great location. Good are very unique and I’d definitely recommend the double dirty burger and the pork dishes! (They’re all amazing)
