Excellent staff and the $15 burger set is probably the best deal you can find. Tasty burger and the crispy fries. The hot sauce is also amazing. Definitely will visit again!

I've always come back to this place every time I've come to Manly and I've yet to be disappointed. It's been a good 2 years since my last visit and the burgers and fries are still great. Great value and great portions. Service is with a smile and with all that you'll be coming back for more.

The burgers were delicious, absolutely amazing. The sauce was also pretty nice, the food was a bit more expensive then other places, but the food was good for it’s price. The only complaint was that the onion rings were a bit to greasy but besides that it was good. Definitely recommend

Bacon and egg burger with hash brown and a coffee special. Best in town. Heaps of bacon and the egg with perfect. Fresh crisp hash browns. Recommended highly! Lovely staff! 5 stars!

Burgers don't get better than these. Flame grilled, juicy af and the brioche buns are unbeatable. When I'm at the northern beaches I don't bother with any other food. Yum all over.

OK burgers but overpriced and nothing special. Avoid the Benbry aioli, my burger was smothered in it and it’s not a good taste. My chips were also covered in salt to the point where they were inedible (there was a huge pile of salt flakes at the bottom of my basket). Over 20 dollars for just a burger chips and drink, for the quality you get it’s hard to recommend this place. The only redeeming quality was the beef patty. Beware of the hidden card fees - it’s only several cents but just doesn’t sit right.

A friend recommended this place to my partner and she recommended it to me! If you read my previous review at Happy Chef, we shared lunch as we weren't hungry. Thus, we also split our next meal which explains why the burger was cut in half as per our request :) We got the spicy jalapeno burger combo with onion rings and aioli sauce. It came to roughly $21. I would say that it's quite expensive, but what else would you expect in Manly? The patty was flavoursome and you can really taste the grill. I took a picture of how it looks inside just to show you guys how epic it is. I gave it a generous 4/5, although I think staff experience could improve. The sale assistant wasn't that friendly. There's in and outdoor dining areas which is great. The burgers are great, but I would rate Between2Buns higher. I would say this joint is on the same calibre as Royal Stack.

Been coming here for a few years now. Came down for a Benbry with cheddar on a gluten free but and I was a little bit dissapointed. There wasn't much cheese and the tomato sauce used was very sweet and a bit overpowering. I have been coming for a few years and previously the burgers have always been good so hopefully the next time will be better.

Just had a burger with cheese but there was no cheese. Beef patty quite dry, onions raw - why would you not cook them?! Pretty average, wouldn't go back.

Thanks Benbry for the "pork" burger, so disappointed I only realised when I got home. I was given a beef patti roll which I'm sure was much less then the $12!! I had to pay for the pork burger. Also the famous aoili didn't live up tobits name.

Terribly burgers at benbry Dee why!! I ordered the benbry burger and it didn't even have the tomato or the onion on! It was just like the burgers I ordered for my kids and the kids burgers are a joke! The roll is bigger than their face with this tiny piece of meat on. First and last time we will eat here!! Very disappointing!!!!!!!!!!!

Meh! One piece of tomato, some onion and lettuce, small serve of lamb, a truck load of sauce, and a very big price tag. Won't be back 👎

Food is frigging delicious! Burgers so tasty and the chips maybe the best I've had! The BBQ sauce was super yummy too. However the staff were rude, my partner made his order and then the waitress started to walk away, my partner called her to explain I wanted to make an order too and rolled her eyes before stomping back and moodily taking my order. Wish the staff were as nice as the food!

For what tiny taste of the cheese I got it was good but sadly you may as well have not given me any at all.

Dense, dry, chewy, stringy beef patty. It was like what you'd get if you over-microwaved old meatloaf. I suppose the rest was good except no flavour from the multiple sauces listed on the menu. Way too expensive for this sort of burger, although the weekday meal deal with its almost-crispy chips helped.

Simple little place. Tried the Bezza burger with fries, onion rings and a creaming soda. That first bite into the burger was just the way it should be. Soft bun, crunchy bacon, spicy bbq sauce, just great. I added the jalapeños for that extra hit as well. Worth a visit

BenBry is a great little burger place in Manly, just off the Corso. The food is always good quality and consistent. I always get the Aussie burger special, it has beef, bacon, egg, beetroot, lettuce, cheese (everything you want on a burger). They have $12 burger combo specials on Tuesday and Thursdays also.

Big Apple, if on special $15, but if not, it will cost $16 on the menu.<br/>What not too like from a good double patties, double cheese, pickle, mustard and crispy ( so tiny ) onion rings😁<br/>Good mixture in a patty it self, taste the onion and crack pepper is so dominant yet not overpowering!<br/>

I have been to Benbry for a couple of times now. And I can assure you that they have one of the best Aussie burgers in Sydney.<br/>I have tried the Aussie burger, chicken Royale burger and the fish & chips. The fish and chips is also worth trying. They give out generous amount of chips with the fish. A bit too much for budget friendly but certainly worth a try!

Oh BenBry Burgers! What would I do in Manly without you? There is only one reason I would choose Manly over Bondi and that has to be these burgers. My favourite has to be The Hangover Cure, they have this sauce inside the burger I’m dying to replicate. It goes perfectly well with a side of chips and coke. They have a small seating area which can get full quickly, especially on the weekends.

I had their $12 Tuesday combo deal and got a BenBry burger, chips, wasabi mayo dipping sauce and a drink. The value of this was great, and the taste was decent, however the beef patty was quite thin and dry. However, the chips were cooked well and the wasabi mayo tasted great. The wasabi wasn't overpowering but could definitely be tasted.

A real Aussie burger type set up here. Dropped in to taste the famous benbry burger and was not disappointed. What I liked about the burgers here was that you could taste the meat was cooked over flame. The bacon had a smokey quality that left me dreaming about campfires and whiskey. Delicious. Shoestring chips were good without being amazing but the dipping sauces gave them a few extra points. Negative was the burger bun began to fall apart, but my wife reminded me that was part of an Aussie BBQ experience. If you're in Manly, get there!

Had the Tropical Feast and The Big Apple. For $13.50 and $16 respectively, talk about a decent sized burger.<br/>Super juicy and really satisfying, would definitely recommend if you're after a burger.<br/>Bit more seating would be great though.

Yes its a hole in the wall, but man they know how to flip a burger. Tuesday night you will find a pretty impressive line for their $12 burger meal deal and for good reasoning, their burgers are fresh and thoughtful.

After a tiring Spit bridge to Manly trek of 10 km we were looking for lunch options in Manly. It was a busy sunday and we found this gem. Very small burger joint and good for me they had 3 veg burgers. I ordered the organic tofu burger and it was just amazing. Maybe because we were too tired i liked it, but it remains as one of the best burger i had here and comparatively very cheap too.

The  service was excellent - very friendly staff. Nice location - great people watching while having a meal. I ordered one Lamblicious! Very tasty.

Worst burger ever eaten in Sydney! Paid for cheese but could not see any on de burger. Onion rings were a rip-off...only few oily pieces. Ordered through an app for free fries but was told that u need to register. Shud hv given de freebie out of goodwill....I won't be returning anyway!

BenBry serves up some pretty decent burgers (the chicken ones are great). Everytime I've walked past they're usually filled with a mix of locals and tourists looking for a cheap and delicious food.

So this place has always looked busy with surfer dudes and dudettes, tradies, locals, tourist and others like me. Today it is filled with 10 other fellow patrons from all walks of life. <br/><br/>I ordered a combo Aussie burger with fries and a drink. With two other orders ahead of me, my combo deal arrives in under 10 mins. <br/><br/>The bun is decent, the patty is moist and juicy. The beet root, the egg (although could have be more runny), the crisp lettuce - a perfect combo. <br/><br/>Nice.

Wow! Amazing! I took the Benbry Burger with cheddar and it was tasty! A little expensive but it's a quality burger! Would recommend to anyone who likes real burgers!

This place has become my default burger bar for my trips to Manly! Most recently I got the BenBry burger with blue cheese and it didn't disappoint. Love it and would recommend the meal deal with onion rings!

A few weeks ago my husband and I drove all the way up to Manly to visit a friend we hadn’t seen in awhile. It was our first trip there and we discovered something those northerners have always known – Manly is pretty sweet!. <br/><br/>It was a beautiful area. Everyone was out and abound enjoying the beautiful weather and there were even markets on with heaps of cool art and knick knacks for sale. I had to restrain myself from going on a shopping binge!<br/><br/>We’d arranged to meet our friend at a burger joint he’d told us about called Ben Bry. He said it was pretty good so we thought we’d better check it out!

Fast and friendly service! Unique burgers and awesome chips. Loved the meal, although it may have been even better with different bread rolls used. Do recommend though.

Average burgers. Fresh and filling ingredients but taste was nothing special. I could imagine though, after a long day at the beach, having one of these for lunch would be the best thing ever! However, we came here with expectations (after it came highly recommended from a friend), so maybe that's why it was a bit standard for my liking. Friendly service though. Quick wait times. Only one share table to sit inside, but it's amongst a busy shopping strip so plenty of public seating outside.

Pretty average burgers. Had one today. Was supposed to be spicy creole but was very bland.  The bread rolls they use are not great either.  I will say one positive thing, the chips were nice.

BenBry burgers is a little hole in the wall in Manly just off the main strip of shops. The first time I went there was no one there but today it was packed with crowds of people waiting outside for their burgers, even at 2.30pm. It seems word has got out about this place! We ordered our burgers and joined the crowds for the long haul.

I took a couple of bites anyway and despite the unmelty cheese, the burger surprised me with each flavourful bite. The patty was perfectly cooked, the salad (which I normally deem unnecessary) actually tasted great and the aioli, ah, I think that’s the secret ingredient. We also had some fries and if you get fries at BenBry? Try the wasabi mayo. Oh My God Delicious.

Burgers worth waiting for. BenBry is a hole-in-the-wall joint serving up tasty burgers. I opted for the BenBry with edam cheese on a wholemeal bun. The moist patty had a pleasant grilled taste and was cooked just right. The soft, faintly nutty yet sturdy bun kept the patty, salad and lashings of aioli together. Our burgers were ready in less than 15 minutes though admittedly we were there past the lunch peak of 12pm - 1pm. Walk 5 minutes down to the beach front, grab a sunny spot facing the sea before scoffing your burger for the quintessential Sydney summer experience. <br/>After my recent disappointment with The Burger Project, it was great sinking my teeth into a solid offering, no gimmicks or celebrity chefs required.

I got the Aussie Burger, my boyfriend the Lambnificant Burger. The difference in quality & value for money between the two was extraordinary. Aussie Burger was amazing, huge, tasty, I couldn't finish it. The boyfriend's Lamb burger was a sorry affair, small with very meager filling, a slice of tomato and a bit of onion. He was sorely disappointed. The staff, both times I have been here, are inept and unhelpful. When my boyfriend noticed she had nominated a brown roll on his order receipt, he went up to correct her, but she refused to change it and he had to cop the brown roll. Get it together, people.

One of the best burgers. Here, it's all about the burgers. My choice is the Aussie Burger. They make their own buns which although not special, work surprisingly well on their burgers. The patties have never been fatty, or chewy or heady. The combination & ratio of bread to patty to salad is just right. Delicious burgers but skip the chips, onion rings or hash browns - oily, often over cooked mess. The ambience here is zero so eat your burger whilst it's still warm & head out to the beach!

Burgers take a while but it is well worth the wait. Burgers taste great, perfectly proportioned, never sloppy and good wrapping.

Average food, paid extra for cheese was the smallest piece of cheese I've ever seen. The fries were nothing special for $5! Wouldn't go here again

Over priced. BenBry Burgers has a very diverse menu, the milkshakes in particular are delicious. However the interior is very cramped and service is slow.

Visitor from Boonah, Qld. My daughter and I tried BenBry Burgers for the first time and they were yummy. I had a gluten free bread roll and it was very nice - the same size as the other rolls and lighter and more pleasant tasting than the usual GF bread. I had a lamb roll and it was delicious. I thought the price was good too. Give them a go! Maggie

When you want a real burger.... Then go here. Solid patties with fresh accompaniments. When I have done serious exercise, this is the place I come to in order to recover.

HOW RUDE!. Usually i love this place and always ask for their onion rings instead of chips because they are amazing!! went there to get my weekly fill, when i got to order the girl who was taking my order simply refused to do onion rings!!!!! apparently she "didnt have the time" i can't see why because they are cooked the same way as chips and take about the same time, i immediately said "ok then i won't bother forget about it i will take my money somewhere else!" if anyone from benbry is reading this remember, a little courtesy goes a long way and the customer is always right! Moody cow just do your job!

Nothing really outstanding worth mentioning; burgers are average and prices are on the higher side of average for Manly. Service is impersonal and seating is limited- takeaway is your best bet.

Waste of money and not worth the hype.disappointing. We ordered 2 lamb burgers with side order of chips and onion rings. The meat pattie on the burger was so tiny and did not taste of lamb at all, the smallest amount of tzaziki was added which again could hardly be tasted. All we could taste was the bun. The chips were no different to the frozen ones from the supermarket. I don't believe the glowing reviews on this site. The only reason we are writing this review is because we felt so ripped off by the Manly Ben Bry. They probably get away with it because it is by the backpackers hostel and so don't need the repeat business. This was not the $10 special but was ordered on a Friday night so full price was paid.

Absolutely so delicious, everytime I come here I am satisfied, burgers are well worth the travel they are so good. I've tried almost everything off the menu and nothing has disappointed me, if you want an amazing burger, this is the place to go

Benbry Burgers (or Ben Bry depending where you look on the Internet) is tucked out of the way from the main beach area by the market and if you take some time to find it it's definitely worth it. This place is more expensive than say McDonalds or Burger King (sorry, I mean Hungry Jacks) but the quality of the food and the portions are far far superior. While the actual venue itself looks unremarkable, a simple counter, wooden table, a wall mounted bar with four stools, an simple no nonsense menus you only realise this place may be something a little special when you see the collection of signed menus by Australian sports and TV celebs. We ordered two Benbry Burgers with chips and two drinks which came to a total of $30. The burgers themselves were delicious, nicely cooked and juicy proper beef and not processed beef, with crunchy salad and they were big, about 4" across. The chips as well were perfectly cooked and you got a large satisfying portion. It's not often I can't finish a meal, but I struggled with this one despite my efforts to continue eating. Very satisfying, very Tasty and worth the extra. Just make sure you time your visit right, this is no fast food joint and in busy times you could be waiting a while!

Best burgers!! Without doubt, the best burgers we've ever had. We regularly traipse halfway across Sydney just for the Ben Bry experience. Meat is juicy, flavoursome and plentiful. The aioli is homemade, not too oily and with just the right amount of tang. But it's the delectable freshly made soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, bread rolls, dripping with lovely crunchy sesame seeds, that truly makes these burgers a must have!!

Great chips. Without a doubt, the best hot chips in Manly. It's only a hole-in-the-wall little take away type place, but Ben Bry has a cool vibe - with communal table as well.
