Review Manly Mexican - Manly

Gary L
Good Mexican, all the usuals best are probably fish tacos and the burritos. A good selection of beers as well. Always seems to be very popular and has a good atmosphere. Service is fast. A good selection of hot sauces to go with your meal. Personally I feel that some of the flavouring and seasoning could be tweaked to get it up to 5 stars

You have the craving for Prawn Fajitas then this is the place to go. Great joint in the heart of manly opp the tennis courts and a quick stroll to many bars and pubs before or after you smash the food. Looks like a great place for a party as well.

Super tasty Mexican food and a cozy atmosphere. I've been to many Mexican restaurants before because my girlfriend and I love the food. But this one is way the best we've been so far. I ordered the beef burrito and it was delicious. Also a very pleasant gesture was that we got free tortilla chips with a dip as a pre starter. I really appreciate that bc normally you have to wait some time until they serve the food and thus you have already something to eat.

Their fajitas are amazing! We ordered the special for 2 people and by the end we were so full! All staff were really friendly! Definitely worth it! The only reason for only 4 stars is the colour of the walls which makes the atmosphere and the place feel very cheap and not cozy at all.

I loved the food!! The amount is quite large as well so... Everything perfect!! đź‘Ť It's not a luxury restaurant but it's cozy and amazing. Perfect to have a good time with friends.

Had dinner on Wednesday night the vibe was great. The portion of the nachos was enough on its own but due to me and mate mates being big eaters we ate the nachos followed by a Delicious Burrito.

Food was very basic and over priced. Would not recommend the Burrito bowl. Great service and ambience.

Decent value for money, service was good and food came quickly. Just not the greatest tasting food. Spices on the fajitas tasted like they came from an old el paso dinner kit.not a bad thing but nothing to write home about. just average.

A great place to go for family dinner or cheap but fun night out with friends. Food is Good and quick and they have some nice Mexican beers. This is the type of place to go to for an easy and low maintenance meal.

Simply, we had a nice night with some friends here and it was a bit of a let down - the Mexican theme was a bit washed and old, like the food - some was nice, but most was not spicy, bland almost and lacking the final conclusion - eg Nachos just did not have enough cheese - the service was happy, but really disinterested - overall it was ok.

Never had a bad meal here! The portions are generous, the food is amazing and The margaritas are strong (and tasty) ! What more could you want!

Great food, huge portions, casual atmosphere. Service was efficient and the restaurant full of chat from happy customers. I'd go back again for sure.

Wow what a local gem btw Where from Melbourne yes we fly from Melb - Syd for our Mexican fix this place rocks in more ways than one we have finally found a Mexican place that doesn’t try to be something it isn’t, don’t change Manly Mexican keep up the great work. Try the cheesy dip with traditional margarita’s and Mexican beer on the side and your nights set...

Quality and cost effective lunch or dinner with a nice selection of beverages.

This place is good value and a ideal location for medium to large groups also with plenty of room.

The fish tacos were the best I’ve had in Sydney.

Love Manly Mexican - I always leave feeling full and satisfied and it is our go-to place after a long day playing sports! You can't go wrong with a sangria jug or last night we tried the Mexican Mule (tequila, lime, ginger beer). I highly recommend the nachos to share - portion size overload alert!! Great variety, and have definitely gone back several times already

Extremely nice and cosy place. Food is really amazing. The tostada was something I had never tried before but the waitress convinced me and it was amazing. The staff are very knowledgeable and look after you very well.

Food was great and the service was fantastically quick. Really good vibe in the place. Highly recommended. Reasonably priced for both food and drink.

Best nachos in Manly! Portion sizes are generous and the food is tasty. Great hangover cure. The margaritas are small and served in a cup which is a bit of a stitch up. Glad they renovated and expanded, it looks great!

Microwave heaten. First time i went there i really like it. But i was totally upset with food on my second and last time there. Had a enchilada, that came in only 2 minutes after ordering and which was probably prepared a week ago and just heated on the oven!!! The middle was still cold! Terrible!!! Not again!!! The mexican by the beach was a lot better.

Excellent service!! First time I've enjoyed Mexican. Definitely winner, we'll be back.

FANTASTIC!. I have eaten here several times. The food is always great, good value with large portions, the margaritas cheap and great service with a cozy atmosphere. A great place to share with friends and have a great time

Nice place, poor food. Had beef fajitas, meat was no good produce and not cooked very well, didn't taste anything like mexican food. also very surprised almost every dish comes with red coleslaw. the place and ambience is good and fun but it's a pity the food is poor

Never written a review before but after such an awful meal last night felt I needed to. Salsa dip to start was ok and the shredded beef dip was fairly tasty. The mains however were beyond bland especially the chicken dishes and although we ordered 4 different dishes they all tasted and looked exactly the same - the only difference being whether the tortilla was made from flour or corn and fried or not. I nearly always clear my plate but literally after about 4 mouthfulls just gave up. And what's with the pickled red cabbage on everything? I pointed out to the waitress that the fat everything was cooked in tasted really old and lingered on everything. Makes me feel sick just thinking about it. Hugely dissapointing. Won't be going back which is a shame because we were so looking forward to a good Mexican.

Words cannot describe how good this place is! Chilli com queso is to die for! Pity you can get fajitas for one but still such a good venue!

Simple, straightforward fare perfect for families. My kids (17 to 4) rate it as their favourite manly restaurant.
