Review Royal Copenhagen - Manly

The owner of this ice cream parlor is racist. I am a Korean traveler. I've been through something so unpleasant. The owner gave us another ice cream and refused to accept credit cards, and treated us like beggars. I don't want to travel to Australia again with these unpleasant memories

Unfriendly unprofessional service. Young workers who don't know anything about customer service. Moreover the place need a good clean up. Very disappointed

The ice cream was delicious as you would expect from any ice cream specialty shop. My favorite was the Royal Copenhagen flavor. The reason they get for stars is because when they have me my spoon they placed it on the dirty counter for me to pick up. It also felt like I was rushed, but then had trouble with my credit card getting to work on their machine. Great product but they should work on their service.

Friendly staff & prompt service! (But 1 old lady got that look of I-wanted-to-go-to-Europe-but on her face) It’s absodeliciouslutely. We had two cones: each has 2 different scoops of ice cream. Too many kinds to choose from! Will definitely call again!

The Ice Cream was pretty good the last two times my Mum and I visited. However, with that being said during our recent visit we were served by a very impatient staff member. She also was quite insensitive towards my Mum’s deafness which I explained to her only for this woman to sassily retort “oh that’s why you are angry”. May I remind you that under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), consumers have the right to be treated fairly and this includes those with disabilities. I understand that business is overwhelming during the holidays and with that the added stress of dealing with lots of customers within a short period of time can be exhausting mentally and physically for staff. But that being said ethically you should not treat customers with such ignorance. I sincerely hope that the next time I frequent the shop that the attitude from this staff member will improve.

It's expensive but it's still one of my favourite ice cream stores in Sydney. Free chocolate dipped cone, free whipped cream on top, and all the chocolate/caramel sauce and toppings you could ask for. Creamy smooth ice creams. Royal Copenhagen is the best flavour! Crispy fragrant waffle cones.

I rarely give such a low rating, but it was very disappointing. I am used to great ice creams from Europe and this was like a parody. I had 2 scoops - royal copenhagen and raspberry in total for 7,60. The raspberry was so low-quality I have never had!! I do not recommend this place to anyone - you can buy instead 1 litre of tasty Connoisseur ice cream in Coles for 7,50.

Great variety of icecream and quick service even though they are often very busy. However, their ice cream servings melt very quickly - wonder if the freezers are operating at their proper efficiency.

When I ride to Manly I get obligatory ice cream. B&J nearby always had better business than here and they open later than here too. I don’t like waiting so here I came again. The devil’s chelate felt very rich and not overly sweet. They do offer some free toppings like caramel and crushed peanuts. The staff was overzealous imho probably because I was the first patron of the day. Xihuahua 🐶 this is a decent ice cream place but they do look out of fashion.

Such an awesome place. I love that they only have a handful of flavours so I am not overwhelmed with choices (because I can never decide).<br/>The flavours they have are your basic staples and they’re absolutely delicious and creamy.<br/><br/>I also love that you can put on your own sauce toppings and sprinkles.

Great ice cream and I love how you can put your own toppings on with the topping station provided. The place is however pretty dirty most of the time

Came here over the queens birthday long weekend. Service was efficient. I had the passionfruit frozen yougurt flavour and my husband had the toffee flavour. Both were nice. Can get choc dipped cone with no extra charge. Can also get self served chocolate and caramel sauce and various toppings with no extra charge.

It's a hot day, so there was a bit of queue to the counter. Although there's some order with markings for a queue, but the ordering still got chaotic when you get close to the counter. Finally got served. Got a kids size cup with 2 flavours (a good option if you want varieties but can't get through a larger serving. The strawberry sorbet was nice & refreshing. The pistachio was a bit bland with not much flavours, and not as creamy as some of the other chains.

Who doesn't love ice cream, c'mon! The moment we got off the ferry and walked towards the beach, I've already decided I was going to have a salted caramel ice cream on the way back. So I did and totally enjoyed the double caramel on top of it.

What has happened to the Royal Copenhagen (surf beach end of the corso)!!<br/>The outlet has lost its fresh presentation, the waffle cones are thicker than an Anzac cookie. The ice cream was ordinary. It's been a long time between ice creams here and we'll never be going back. I'm not even going to go on about the ridiculous price tag.
