Review Ashiana Indian Restaurant - Manly

Nice food. The ambience is a bit dark but the food, reasonable prices for food and drinks and the great service make up for it. Will come back again

Consistently good food whether you eat in or takeout. The best place for an Indian takeaway in Manly. BYO wine. Food comes pretty quickly. Staff are very friendly but seem overworked! Very convenient location, just off the Corso. Price is very reasonable for a big meal.

This was our 2nd time, food quality is awesome. Service is also good. What needs to be improved 1. Increase a bit of quantity of food 2. Ambience a bit

Okay, so this place is amazing. Why? Trust, the food is very very good. You can feel the flavors the whole day. Not just the food, but the ambience, takes you back to India. Has good options for vegetarians! Yes. The staff is lovely, yes you will wait a while for food but it will be worth it. Hundred percent sure. I am going back here for sure.

Our favourite Indian restaurant on the beaches. So easy going staff (that’s handy for bday dinners), byo, great food. What else you need?

We went their and ordered Chicken tikka masala and mixed vegetables and both dishes tasted absolutely same. Chicken timka masala did not taste like it should be and mixed vegetables were not like vegetables. It seem like they mix the same Garvey with all the dishes.

I had a sensational meal here tonight. I'm sure I've eaten in 50+ Indian restaurants all over Australia and New Zealand over 30 odd years, and I would rate Ashiana in the top two or three. The flavours were all different and interesting. The onion bhaji was the best I've ever had. If I was a local I'd be eating here every other week. I loved the dated cliched Indian decor; it makes the place very warm and inviting. If you like your Indian with a little kick and some complex tastes you won't be disappointed dining here. We'll be back

I wasn’t expecting to find such high quality Indian and such a diverse menu in Manly. It’s exciting to try new curries that you normally don’t see. We ordered takeaway, the food was hard to fault and the serving sizes were large. Can’t wait to return!

Ive rated the curries, not the decor! The lamb fry was superb. Overall food quality is great and is a stark contrast to the very dodgy appearance and decor. You'd look past this place without hesitation but you should try it if you enjoy curry and even more so if you want them hot. Will definitely do this again when in Manly

One of the best Indian restaurant I have been to. Food are fantastic and the price is reasonable. The waitress who served us were friendly and warm. Will definitely visit again.

Food was amazing, however they did seem kinda understaffed if the service was a little better would be a 5 but if understaffed than they can't really help that. Food was 10/10

Food was absolutely delicious and abundant! Service was also pretty good, the waitress was really kind and helped us to order all the dishes dairy free. Will come back!

Attempted dinner here Tuesday night...but staff appeared stressed when we appeared with a pram, as the restaurant was so hot and there was little room to get around tables. After being there less than five minutes, dripping in sweat, we decided to leave. It would have easily been 35+ degrees in there, no air con and no large fans - not the type of feeling you want to have before the curry!<br/>Shame though, food smelt good ??

Simple: food is great, service...don't even think you can call it service. Waitress didn't say anymore than 2 words to us. Service time was good though. If you can ignore the waitress (as much as she ignores you), its worth it for the tasty food.

Outstanding!. I absolutely love dining at Ashiana. The service is always friendly and helpful, the food never disappoints and it quells my craving for good Indian without having to go all the way to Harris Park. I highly recommend the barrah ekbab, the badshahi kebab platter, any vinhaloo, jheenga malabari and the palak paneer. The naan is made traditionally and the kheema naan being some of the best I've had. Convenient location.

Best Indian in town. I haven't tried better anywhere. Probably why I go back fortnightly for a hangover cure. Thanks Raaj and the team. Cheers, Ben

One of the best Indians I've ever had - perfect after a late day with a cold beer!
