Review Pizza Capanna - Manly

Love sitting here watching the world go by at street level (literally).. Just good food! Back again and still just as amazing every time!

One of my favorite restaurants in Manly. They use fresh ingredients and have the most lovely staff. Indoor and outdoor seating literally a stones throw from the ocean. Stop in for a quality dinner or just to say hello. Indeed the best pizza in manly. Also, they are one of the only places in Manly that that sells coffee past 4pm!

Awesome place right off of Manly beach with nice outdoor seating. Great for both families and singles. The pizzas are the best and worth the wait. The crust is thin and baked to perfection with just the right amount of toppings. The pastas and salads are plentiful and delicious too. But save room for the homemade dessert. The lemon meringue pie and tiramasu are delish!

Great pizza can be found here in Manly. Right along the road lining the coast! They also have a strawberry kiwi cider that I recommend. I love all the ciders and this is an interesting twist. A nice tropical kick to go with your pizza at the beach!

Good service! Pizza looked great but was very ordinary with no flavour was very bland. If this is the best pizza Sydney has we are screwed! Can’t believe the reviews!! garlic bread was ok

Always outstanding. Best pizza and pasta in Manly without a doubt. Gorgeous crispy pizzas, home made pasta, the best carbonara in the world. Amazing desserts. Really good vibe. I love it.

Ordered via menu log. Food was terrible, no flavor and very bland. Our food wasn't even handed to us in a plastic bag but two plastic containers. So overpriced and underwhelming I want to get my money back!

The pizza was delicious until I had to return the next day for another pizza and we tried the pasta carbonara and it was delicious too.

Good pizza, was nice and hot when I picked it up but I'm not sure its worth $25 for a pizza. Also they forgot to give me my drink so I had to go back. Garlic bread was tasty and wasn't too buttery or garlicy like others i've had. <br/><br/>Overall decent food and would recommend but I'm from Melbourne where there is delicious woodfired pizza everywhere for much cheaper so can't rate it much higher!

Exactly what we were looking for with 2 hungry kids on a day at the beach. Pizza was good, Caesar Salad was very good. Clearly a family run spot that tries hard.

Lovely little place! Amazing in summer as you can sit on their little terrace bit and look at the beach! Only negative would be the amount of space they have for seating! Great local spot for Pizza and they have some decent wines on the menu as well. It's a local for me when I'm heading into Manly for drinks and want to grab a quick bite somewhere I know is guaranteed to be good every time.

Nice base. When i read the billboard "best pizza in sydnCey" i decided to come in and try it, the pizza is not bad, the crust and base is nice, i ordered a margherita with extra prosciutto, and they put on pizza HAM! not prosciutto, i don't know how they can compare prosciutto with ham, is like compare a piece of shit with a golden gems<br/>i will post a photo of prosciutto for let them understand what is prosciutto

This is the most authentic Italian that I gave been to in years. Every dish was amazing and I mean AMAZING. We will be back again and again. Worth the drive.

Great Pizza, Great Customer Service. As a family of 3 this little restaurant catered for all our needs. Wasn't BYO however prices for wine by the glass were quite reasonable. We ate here twice and were not disappointed. Pizza Tutta Carne was a fave, the base was thin, crispy but not like a cracker and certainly not like the "deep pan" greasy kind that you can get with modern pizzas. It had just the right amount of chilli to give it a kick without overpowering the rest of the ingredients. It was a hit with my 15 year old. The second time we dined here I ordered the pasta, a spaghetti puttanesca, again, just the right amount of chilli, sauce was rich but not thick & heavy, nor creamy (my pet hate for tomato based sauces). It suited the spaghetti pasta to a tee, although you do get choice of pasta style to go with your sauce, even Gnocchi, but I'm glad I stuck to a pasta that did not soak up all of the sauce and leave it dry. Staff were very polite and attentive, not in your face and remained so despite how busy they were. I would recommend the place to anyone who visits Manly, well done!

Okay pizza. The pizza was okay. Nothing to write home about.<br/>A little underseasoned. More garlic, salt and pepper may have improved this.<br/><br/>I would not order from them again if I was in Manly, as a little bland.

Recently went there with a group of 6. The staff were amazing and courteous from the moment we sat down, always checking on us without interrupting. They even brought us an extra table when we ordered too much food!<br/><br/>It's their own fault we did though as the pizza here is amazing! We couldn't get enough! The pizza's authentic Italian toppings, so if you like real pizza, you'll love this. The pastas cooked to perfection also, best bolognese at the beach!<br/><br/>The vibe is relaxed & inviting, such a nice spot opposite the ocean, can't wait to go back!

Best pizzas in Sydney!. Absolutely love the pizzas - delicious thin crust and tasty toppings - the best in Sydney! Friendly staff, excellent service and great seaside ambience. Pizza Capanna is our family's favourite pizza restaurant.

Rip Off. I recently attended a group dinner at Pizza Capanna. I ordered a can of soft drink and it took them 40 minutes and a reminder to bring me the drink I ordered. There were 21 of us and the food they served was enough to feed perhaps 15 people at best. <br/>We had booked for 25 but only 21 could make it so they charged us for 25 even though they didn't provide food for this many (I'm quite sure it's illegal to do this) So we all had to pay $35 plus drinks. <br/>I paid $35 to have 1 slice of pizza and a handful of pasta. WHAT A RIP OFF! <br/>The food itself was nice- I have no complaints there but if I am going to be charged $35 for food- I expect it to be enough to fill me up. I also expect if the restaurant is going to charge us for people who didn't attend to have the decency to serve food for that many people. <br/>DO NOT COME HERE FOR A GROUP EVENT. THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU

Great ambience and friendly staff. Our pizzas arrived 20mins apart and were Ok. The garlic pizza was pretty bad though, cardboard like.

Fantastic pizza, friendly service only -ive is the price, but it is on the ocean front in Manly. 9/10

Loved it! Great garlic bread, great calamari and great pizza! Thin crust and excellent taste! Service was also phonomenal, great experience. Absolute bargain as well! Highly recommend.
