Very nice meal. Had a very nice lunch here. Very tender meat and all three of us enjoyed the meals we had. It is a bit expensive thought. Portions are big.

A charming little spot in the middle of Manly. It has great healthy cheap eats and juices. Nice for an easy dinner. Staff are lovely and always happy to amend the menu.

Great competition for Banana blossom. Amazing taste, cheap but huge portions, open till 9pm! I am quite happy with my new take away option (Banana Blossom closes at 3😪)

Fresh salads from this Japanese gem. The chicken shinji salad and garlic prawns are amazing. Quicker, cheaper and slightly better than Blossom around the corner

If you have grown up in Manly you should know Mr How, he used to have the most awesome hipster, odd un-matching cutlery and random crockery, in an old unit block Chinese restaurant in Manly, it was an institution of growing up and drinking from a mug while eating some decent Chinese food, god I loved that place. I do believe he moved to the beachfront and got some nicer digs and the old memories faded. I have never ventured to the beachfront digs but while looking for it I have been unable to locate it online – not sure what it is called these days or as with many a Manly venue, it has probably shut down.
Mr How started a salad bar at the wharf end of the Corso right opposite The Hot Dog Man called (you guessed it) MINT ASIAN SALAD BAR. It is a simple and small venue and it offers Asian salads and Curries. It is literally 50m from Banana Blossom, it offers a little less than Banana Blossom and it has less than half the crowds and is a little less funky and “health marketed” than Banana Blossom but I just love it – it easily makes my favourite salads on the beaches and is in my Top 10 Northern Beaches Cheap Gems of 2015.

Nice food and value but more veg please. This place has nice cheap meals for lunch including chicken curry, laksa and some salads etc. They use all free range chicken and eggs which is fantastic because not many places do and this is a reason I go there. The only qualm I have is that they need to include more vegetables in there laksas and soups. The Laksa is tasty but the bean sprouts are barely there. Its mainly soup and noodles. It wouldn't hurt to include a few bits of carrot and broccoli etc and some more fresh bean sprouts on top. At least have the option of more veg for customers to pay extra if they want it. I like to to eat a healthy balanced meal so veg is very important. Other than that I recommend this place as its great value.

I absolutely love MINT. Love their shinji chicken salad. Love the 12 dollar lunch special. My favourite food in Manly. If I could change something about this place I would keep the food the same price at dinner as it is at lunch.

Love the fresh and delicious flavours from here. We've had the combo noodle soup, chicken salad and crispy noodle and laksa and these are all recommended

Hands down the healthiest, tastiest and best value meals you can find in Manly. The laksa and penang salad are both fantastic.
