Great ambience and the desert was awesome. I loved the fact that they had halal options mentioned on the menu. Less hassle of asking about each dish whether it is halal or not

I was lucky enough to win an Instagram giveaway for 6 desserts from DBN and what a feast my friends and I had. DBN is paradise for sweet tooth, and if that's not your jam, there are savoury treats here too.
The Milk Tea cake was literally a cake version of a milk tea in edible form. Light chiffon cake, chewy bubbles, creamy custardy topping - it was amazing in both flavour and texture.
The Pina Colada was a refreshing dessert, with hints of brightness from the macerated pineapple and pineapple and malibu sorbet, and just the right amount of decadence from the coconut cheesecake.
For lovers of chocolate, the chocolate dome will be right up your alley, and is a rich and indulgent treat. The fresh strawberries helped balanced out the richness of this dessert, and of course the dense brownie hidden within the dome.
The chocolate panna cotta was very dreamy and velvety smooth, and had the requisite jiggle. A light dessert, yet bold enough for those who want something chocolatey.
Each time I have been to DBN, they are packed with customers and it's not hard to see why. A chilled out vibe, and friendly staffs, DBN is a great spot for hanging out with friends.
Absolutely love this place! Their desserts are deelish! I’ve literally tried the whole menu and good prizes too. The staff are always lovely. Their sesame latte is sooo good but seasonal.
Tasty and beautiful desserts. Matcha waffles were super nice and came with a good amount of garnishes on the side. Their white chocolate ganache was the star of the dish.
Dessert by night was a surprisingly busy cafe located in Edgewater.. we came here after dinner for some sweet treats and luckily we managed to book a table just 30 minutes earlier.. the queues in front of the shop was pretty long and we were able to get a table within 5 mins of walking in...

The Creme Caramel is the best. Its taste made me feel good. Caramel and mandarin are very compatible. Their staff are also nice and kind, they can tell stories about their desserts. Neat, clean and lovely cafe. Highly recommend!!!
The desserts here are pretty hit and miss! Ive tried multiple different dishes but i often just lean towards the creme brûlée now! Amazing that they open till late so you can get your dessert cravings at nearly any time. Coffees are nice here! Always packed around dinner time onwards. Wouldnt mind stopping by here again anytime soon 😋

Lovely place for dessert and to have a chat with friends. Menu has great variety. Quality of desserts were good, however the price is slightly at the higher end. Hot beverages were great!
Desserts by Night, housed in a cozy modern setting, served modern cakes and desserts in mainstream flavours. We opted for the creme caramel and mango pudding. The creme caramel was smooth and fruity, the mango pudding was fresh; both were not too sweet and the flavours were quite balanced. True to its name, Desserts by Night opened until midnight everyday which made it a great after dinner dessert spot.
A go to dessert joint in the west. Be sure to make a reservation if you're planning to visit in the evening during the weekend, this place gets packed! Highly recommend visiting, they have various options.
Always come here for sticky date pudding and chai lattes. Tastes soo good. Service is also good here and food comes out quickly. Love the texture and flavours of the pudding

Strawberry parfait, Nutella& strawberries crepe and chai lattes. The chai lattes were a 5/5. While the strawberry parfait was great, I wasn’t fond of I think the croutons, they were too hard to eat. The Nutella crepe was amazing too, very sweet. The pricing was affordable and atmosphere was good. Would definitely come back to try more on the menu.

Went to DBN a second time and throughly enjoyed the meal. I had the créme caramel and my companion has the ruby brownie which were both extremely indulgent! Glad to have come back here for great dessert.
Been here twice and both times were amazing. The waffles are so perfect, toasty outside and fluffy inside. The creme brulee is delicious. The crepes are amazing. The place is clean and staff are attentive and friendly and most importantly the desserts are reasonably priced. Amazing and delicious!!
Ordered the Chocolate and Caramel Dome. The hard chocolate shell was easily opened and the revealed brownie and almonds were topped with hot caramel sauce. My spoon and fork quickly divided the now soft chocolate shell and accompanying raspberries and strawberries. Very impressed by the fudge consistency of the brownie!

This place is so much fun! The atmosphere is lovely, gorgeous slate feature wall and fun fresh decor. The food is quite rich but so delicious! The staff are friendly and helpful and we would definitely go again. 😊
We loved the lemon lime pie, the coconut ice cream is clearly not made by them, it would be an amazing addition to the freshness of the food and flavour if they did use a bought artisan ice-cream or made it themselves. the perfect balance of crunchy, soft, sweet and tart flavours in this desert makes it a pleasure to eat.
The frozen chocolate soufflé was lovely If you’re a serious chocolate lover! It was a little too frozen and to hard to eat, it was also a huge serve and we didn’t finish it, and ooohhh so sweet! This desert would be a 5star if it was a chocolate moose or if they deforested it more - like a semi dress I and perhaps held back a bit on the sweetness of this “soufflé”
I would do back purely for the peach ice tea! It’s made by them not Lipton bottled tea! It’s ice cold and fresh peaches and wa a stunning taste of tart tea and sweet peach!
Coffee was strong and well made.
All in all a great place to visit and we’ve already said we’ll be back for the next special occasion we have !
Great dessert place! Was greeted with welcoming service. Ordered the Red Velvet Waffle, Caramel & Chocolate Dome and Lemon Black Tea. The Red Velvet Waffle was nice, the different elements from the various additions of cream, pashmak, raspberry coulis to the red velvet waffle itself blended well. The Caramel & Chocolate Dome was quite splendid as well. The DIY pouring of the warm salted caramel sauce over the chocolate dome was a nice touch and added to the experience! After pouring the sauce to find the next delicious layer of ice cream and raspberry brownie. The side hero of the dish was the crystalised walnuts which just took the dish to another level without doing too much! The Lemon Black Tea was great but a tad too much on the sweet side. Dishes from an aesthetics stand point were well presented as depicted in the pictures and definitely would come back for a round two some other time after this experience!
Me and the Fam went here for after diner dessert want I can say about this place is the ambience,service & presentation are very vibrant as well as being a humbling experience. The deserts were very yummy all round except for the cream brûlée which the sugar was burnt on the top but realistically it’s nothing to complain about. I don’t like it how just after I ordered I was handed the bill which I thought was strange..... but all in all, it was a very good experience & we will be back!

This place is cramped to the max every night just so everyone can get there sugar fix. Caramel and chocolate dome, with a raspberry brownie and crystallised walnuts. I honestly don’t just recommend this one, I recommend every single freaking dessert. Not the cheapest, $14 - $16 per dessert, but just so yummy 😩😩😩 #foodporn #dessert #chocolate
We finally visited Desserts By Night even though it's 5 minutes walk from home. I, being a Chocolate lover, don't usually go for any other dessert. I ordered Chocolate Fudge Brownie. My friends ordered Pavlova, Frozen Chocolate Mousse and Belgian Waffle. Let me start by saying how spectacular they look and oh, so irresistible. Every dessert was lip-smacking. My favourite, was of course, the Brownie. It was baked to perfection, a must try. It's easily one of the best brownies I have ever had. The only downside may be to decide on which dessert to order 😬
Nice vibe and very good ambience. The desserts were yummy and just the perfect way to finish off a spicy meal. Friendly staff and good service.

The store in the foodie suburb of Maribynong was busy on a saturday night, and so staff sat us down comfortably as we waited for tables. I ordered the creme brulee and it was a delight. The icecream and creme brulee complimented each other very well, with the fruit to give the taste some freshness. The brownie, was exceptional, with every element on the dish shining. Our friends also ordered the pavlova which was quite a taste, however, slightly dry! Will be back to this cozy dessert joint.

Came back to try their desserts after a nice morning walk. Service was great, with staff greeting us with a warm friendly welcome. We ordered the mango pudding and the lemon & lime tart, with taro latte on the side.
The taro latte was definitely the favourite - it was so sweet yet rich in the taro flavour, which many cafes fail to highlight with their taro-infused lattes. It was so warm and fluffy, would definitely recommend.
The lemon tart was so gorgeous to look at that I couldn’t even break into it for a while. The tart wasn’t as crumbly as I had wished but was buttery, which went well with the sweet and sour lemon top.
We also got the mango pudding, which was full of different textures and very scrumptious. It was, however, heavily sweet.
This time, I really enjoyed the experience and with their continuously changing menus, I’m more than excited to try it!
This place is super chill, comfortable vibes for a night in or somewhere in the area to grab dessert. Place has very limited spacing hence it gets really loud and busy even on a weeknight. Can’t complain about the food it’s as good as it looks :p

This is one of my favourite dessert places in Melbourne. They have really great desserts for a decent price. Good portion sizes. Me favourite was the brownie. You have to try that for sure, it will blow your mind. Friendly and very polite staff. A must visit place.

One of the most popular dessert joints in the West. Regardless of coming here on a weekday or weekend, it is always jammed packed. The desserts are reasonably priced and they come out exactly like in the photos. My favourite would have to be the crepes. It is also extremely loud in here and I felt like I had to scream to hear myself speak.
The old menus looked nicer but the desserts are still quite tasty. Nice place if you want a late night snack. An overall pleasant experience.
It was my first time trying a sago pudding and it won’t be my last if they always taste like this. Desserts by Night amazed me with their sago as it was creamy and well complimented by the fresh mango, jellies and coconut ice cream.
The menus have photos of each dessert which helped me make my choice. The photos are identical to the way the dessert is presented.
Great desserts and drinks! Love coming here to catch up with friends. Service is great and the space is big with comfortable chairs! Would recommend coming here for a midday or late night coffee! Definitely gets busy throughout the day but as i said there's a lot of space so you're never really waiting to sit. Would recommend the Pavlova!
OMG the menu is amazing! I highly recommend desserts by night! Popped in on a Saturday afternoon to easily get a table and a delightful dessert. I ordered the mango sago and a nice jasmine tea. Both were delicious! Will definitely be back to try out the other great looking options.
We’ve walked past Dessert By Night a number of times and it’s always packed with people. We finally got a chance to try it tonight with a group of friends. What a delight to find such dessert cafe in the suburb and it opens until midnight everyday. We came here on Sunday night after dinner and it was packed too but we were lucky to get a nice table inside with large comfortable chair. The menu was impressive and it also serves cocktails! It was difficult to choose as all the desserts on the menu looks so good! They even have matcha and taro latte. We were very impressed and it makes sense now why this place is so popular. Definitely will return soon!
Menu has such a nice variety of different desserts! The flavours are very delicious. Ordered the wedges and that was very nicely cooked. The display cakes were also very nice and the coconut thingy was sooo delicious. Highly recommend trying the chocolate brownie and creme brûlée

This place is great if you’re looking for a late night dessert. It is open until 12am! We went at 9pm on a Tuesday night and the place was quite busy!
Service was really good, attended to straight away. Received drinks within 10 minutes and food within 20 which was surprisingly quick as we had ordered 4 desserts and 4 drinks!
Milkshakes had lots of flavour and wasn’t too watery or too milky like other cafe milkshakes. Highly recommend the ice chai latte! Tasted like a real chai latte
We had the red velvet waffles, brownies and chocolate & raspberry slice. Overall, very pleased. They are worth their value as all deserts are either $12 or $13 which is so much cheaper than other dessert places. Waffles were moist and warm and weren’t dry. Chocolate slice wasn’t too rich (right amount of chocolate) but raspberry sorbet was way too sour! Didn’t taste right at all. Brownie was to die for, warm and moist inside.
The drive was 45 minutes for us but was worth it, will be coming back again soon to try their coffee.
Desserts were fairly priced and affordable. Their dishes were exceptional. Ingredients used were fresh with neat presentations. Nice place to hangout with friends and family at night.
It could've been the beautiful 25° day with a cool breeze billowing softly off the creek but Desserts By Night made for a great cafe to have a coffee and a cheeky crony by the water. The owner was a delight also whom was warm and welcoming. A definite must visit if you're looking for somewhere to chill out or catch up.eith friends or family.

Came here with a couple of friends for dessert fairly late on a Saturday. Around 9pm. Late for me, maybe not late for others as the place was completely full. Me and my girlfriend shared a Pavlova dish which was pretty nice and not too pricey. And I washed it down with a hot chocolate, nothing special but as expected. However the service isn't the greatest.
My friends and I like this late night restaurant for hang outs, sweets and coffee. They have a decently priced menu with a range of popular desserts from $10-$15. They also have a savoury dinner menu too! I would like to try their meals some time because you can't be sceptical until you give them a chance. Anyways, tonight we ordered creme brûlée, mango pudding and red velvet waffles. It was actually really nice; dare I say better than max brenners as it was cheaper and delicious too? Yes I dare. Creme brûlée was so so and the mango pudding lacked flavours but that could be due to the fact my palette was killed with sweets.
Overall, if you're looking for a late night location to satisfy those cravings; definitely come to Edge Water Boulevard and see try the restaurants around here!
An interesting place. Located not far from Highpoint shopping center, it's a very convenient location.
The decor was somewhat "jazzy", and quiet (during the day that is, whereas I was told during the night it gets packed).
The food options were varied with some options not being available as they were sold out the night before. Nonetheless, I chose the red velvet waffles with berries and vanilla Ice cream. Certainly a unique taste to it (and the presentation was marvellous), it was a little too sweet for my liking.
Recommend it for those with a sweet tooth, and for those not, perhaps try a different dish. Overall, a relatively nice place with very good (but a bit sweet) food.

I would recommend the red velvet waffles. I absolutely love the cream cheese ice cream and the Oreo bits and fresh cream underneath. The sticky date pudding was also really good - all the little bits and pieces on the plate were delicious.
You know a dessert place is fantastic if people are willing to wait 30+ place just to get a seat! And it was very well worth it!
The food: OMG sticky date pudding is already one of my favourites and paired with all the pretty accompaniments that were on my plate it made it even better! Can’t fault a single bite. Not too sweet, not too sticky and definitely not too small.
The service: super quick considering how busy they were. We just ordered with a table of 10 and less than 10 minutes later, desserts were served! Amazing!
The pricing: can’t complain at all! In the city you would pay the same prices for a bad piece of cake!

I was actually surprised by the standard of the desserts at Desserts By Night. I wasn't expecting much being in the burbs but the desserts served are just like the ones you get at top notch restaurants (presentation and taste wise). I ordered a panna cotta dessert that was served with raspberry(?) sorbet on the side, it was perfect. My friend ordered the chocolate cake with a side of blood orange sorbet. The chocolate was quite rich and would suit someone with a really sweet tooth. The blood orange sorbet was nice and refreshing. Desserts are all very reasonably priced and I would definitely visit again.

The pancakes were out of the world. The nachos perfect savoury when you want to fix the taste with all the sweet. Creme caramel with the orange has delicious flavours bursting in your mouth 🤩 The milkshake was great and filling and there were no complains about the tea. The perfect desserts place where you can go for a meal or just desserts after a meal. We loved the place.

The atmosphere was really good even at 11pm with a lot of crowd. The vegan option is currently limited to one (warm sago pudding) but I loved it. My partner (non-vegan) had mango sorbet and he loved it too. The presentation was stunning! Definitely going back to this place sometime soon.
