We took our own wine and paid $15 corkage per bottle, but the wine list is very good for a country pub and reasonably priced.
Top notch meals and drink selection, it fits all crowds. We over ordered so we could eat their delicious food again the next day (as we were only there one night).
The garlic bread is cooked inside their wood fire oven, which not only bakes pizza but also keeps the place warm inside. Outdoor seating is also available.
This place surprised us! We were a long way from home. The tavern was bright and bustling. There was a good happy crowd of patrons.
The bar had a great number of different tap beers and wines and bottled beer.
The restaurant offered a good quality range of food. We had a gluten sensitive person in our group who was ably catered for. Portions are good.
The staff behind the bar and meal service are friendly and professional.
We would happily go again!
What a great Tavern. It was a chilly night when we went and stepped inside there and it was toasty warm and comfy. Staff friendly and the meals were great. Wood fired pizzas were enjoyed by many, even this night we had something different still delicious. We will definitely be going back there next time we visit Yorkes
Have recently spent a week at Marion Bay staying at the Marion Bay Motel and Tavern. What a great spot! Accommodation was very comfortable, clean and quiet being only 5 rooms. Added bonus of the Tavern being just meters away. Dined here several times during my stay. Food did not dissappoint. Absolutely delicious from the King George Whiting to wood fired seafood pizza to steak sandwich to burger and chips to seafood pasta to my favourite-the Marion Bay Oscar. All enjoyed while looking out at the ocean and local jetty. This is a very popular place to eat/drink and staff were friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.
Great service, super fast and the meals were delicious! The Scotch Fillet was amazing! Great vibe also. We grabbed pizza another night and it was also very yummy!
A hidden gem. I’ve been to Marion bay a couple of times to go fishing and today was my first opportunity to dine here. WOW. The food is 5 star restaurant quality any day of the week. Really friendly service staff too and the food came out promptly and presented beautifully.
I had the locally caught King George whiting with chips, aioli, salad. Hubby had the steak sandwich. We washed it down with a mug of beer each😋
Staff were friendly, professional, and by the time we had a couple of drinks of our beer our meals were delivered. Seriously the fastest service we’ve experienced in ages, and this was on one of their busiest nights 👏🏽
