Great environment, average quality food.I had lamb, was old and tough, terrible gravy, carrots not peeled, mash awful. Not worth eating there. They need to lift their game.

Went for a Christmas function. Beautiful views of ocean from the function room. The food was acceptably delicious, servers were friendly and the decorations were nice. Overall was a good experience with some communication issues for instance if we wanted non alcoholic drinks we need to get them over the counter when they could just provide a jug of coke for the table, which they refused at first. After we got our drinks from the counter then they provided the jug of coke. Confused.

I love this place because the view never gets old and there's always new kinds of fish in the water, even dolphins sometimes! There's only a single double head shower but heaps of parking!

We went there for an end of year catch up over dinner. The place was very crowded, having had a table reserved was a plus. The table was ready and nicely laid out. Staff was eager to serve and not just standing by idly. The location, almost on top of the water, delivers a beautiful view over the ocean. Prices for beers and wines are about 30% lower than other restaurants. Prices for food are pretty much the same as usual, so is the quality of the food. Good, but nothing to write home about. All fish on a big seafood platter is deep fried, why? The worst part is, how loud that place is, but what can you expect from a place that has an acoustic design of a shoebox! Most of your conversation gets drowned by the background chatter unless you start yelling yourself. If you wear a hearing aid, don't come here!

My husband and I had our combined 70th birthday party in the Blue Water Room at the MAAC on Saturday night. The venue was fabulous, the staff so attentive and food was delicious. Many thanks to Tony and his staff.

It is hands down the best beachside club in WA....food is great & a good choice of quality wines & beers...we love the view & seeing Dolphins chasing food in the ocean right in front of the club is a feel good like no other.

Great venue, fantastic staff, amazing view. Had my wedding reception there and people still talk about the amazing time they had there and that was 5 years ago. I held an awards night there last year and again the people had told me it was the best ever awards night they had been to. Always a great time at the MAAC.

We were disappointed today (Sunday afternoon 4-5pm) at the total lack of child friendly options within the establishment. As members for many years it has come at a shock to us that patrons with children are only permitted to be in the small lounge area of the club. We were unable to even carry our little girl into the bar area to briefly greet a friend when we arrived before being rudely spoken to by the Bar Manager and bar staff. When I asked what the reason was I was smugly told that "it is the rules". MAAC is certainly not child friendly and needs to be brought into the 21st century where families would like to be able to enjoy local neighborhood venues like this without being designated to a confined area and not being able to take one step out of it. What a joke! We could have understood this as being a safety issue if the club had been busy this afternoon- but it certainly was not!

Ive always regarded the MAAC as being a little more than a Club in someways more of a family, which is what they are orientated towards. The staff are always friendly and take an interest in those that chose to take the time to talk. The views are fantastic and the furnishings, food and atmosphere are great. well worth the visit if you know a member who will take you along.
