Review Wok Master - Maroubra

Half Portal Fortress
Had the combination wonton soup with fried dimsim. It was amazing. I've been here a number of times before but it's been a very long time

Have loved Chinese food since living in Hong Kong as a primary school aged kid. Always on the lookout for truly great places to satisfy my love of the food. I'm on my way somewhere with my Father and we were looking for something good to get on the way. Stumbing around Maroubra Junction we finally found Wok Master. This ain't no cheap street food. It's restaurant quality(and price virtually to be fair), super tasty, huge helpings of accurately reproduced dishes. Has a very extensive menu so planning to go back again real soon and many times in the future.

Absolutely disgusting. We ordered both the chicken and beef noodles and it was like eating congelled rubber. These guys used to be good a few years back but now it's basically inedible. Never again.

We ordered on Sunday evening shredded beef in peking sauce, pork ribs with plum sauce, fried rice. The food was flavourless and unappetizing. The beef was like eating a rolled piece of plastic, the pork ribs had a long hair in it and was so fatty & white, one could not eat it and the SPECIAL fried rice had so much chicken fat in it that it was awful. I would NEVER go here again. Seems like they buy all the cheap parts of the meat and make whatever they can out of it. Not worth the money you pay. My stomach was so unsettled the next day and my husband felt the same.

Not a bad chinese place for reasonably price chinese food for a satisfying feed.

Worse laksa ever! Put it straight into the bin. Looks nothing like the picture on their website… the taste was truly awful.

I ordered beef and black bean sauce and and some fried rice, both the dishes were way too salty kind of ruined the food..

Great local Chinese restaurant. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Good selection of food. My favourite is mix Chow mein noodles. Lunch deals available. quick service. Good portion size. Limited seating. Lively atmosphere.

This is a COVID-19 takeaway review. The Shandong chicken was dry and didn't have the right sauce/flavour. The chicken wings with chili spicy salt were OK but very battered. The braised beef brisket noodle soup was a highlight. It's hard to mess up roast pork. Overall a pretty middling meal. I definitely wouldn't get the Shandong chicken or battered chicken wings from here again.

Came for a quick feed and opted for lemon chicken with rice ($14) take away. I appreciated that the food is very cheap here but I did struggle with the portion of rice to meat. There was way too much rice! The flavour of the chicken was nice and no doubt would’ve been perfectly crispy if I had dined in. Also tried a beef dish but can’t for the life of me remember it’s name but OMG it was delicious!! Basic cheap food - when they get your order right it would be good. But they don't, every time I have ordered from them.

Would recommend their wonton noodle soup - if they manage to remember it.

Ordered from Wokmaster last Saturday for a home delivery.

A great variety of menu items to choose from showcasing Asian cuisine - mainly Chinese. Cheap menu prices and quick delivery for a Saturday night.

Food was good and portions are huge. If you’re around Maroubra Junction and near Pacific Square I do recommend coming here for a quick feed.

Food recommendation: chicken wings with chilli spicy salt🌶

Pictured below: chicken wings with chilli spicy salt, mongolian lamb & teriyaki chicken

Awful food!! First time giving this restaurant a try and it was a major disappointment. Food tasted horrible. Couldn't even finish my meal. Don't recommend this place.

Been here a few times, decent food and big portions. They do a bit of everything here, but mainly chinese and that is what I stick to.
The soup options are good with massive portions. Most of the Chinese options are decent. They have reasonably priced lunch specials too. Check it out if you are visiting pacific square shopping centre and are after a feed.

Pretty good Chinese if you ever have a craving - never had any issues with this place and been several times. Love the fried rice!! and the bbq pork!

Came here twice for takeaway and they got my order wrong both times, instead giving me an item on the menu that was cheaper than what I ordered. The pork ribs with spicy salt is way overpriced considering a third of the portion is fried bones.

Located at the corner of Pacific square in Maroubra, the restaurant has extensive menu ranging from mainly Chinese food to some Singaporean and Thai cuisine. Arrived for late 3pm lunch, surprisingly the restaurant was still busy with few takeaway orders and dining in. I ordered seafood noodle soup with chilies at $13. The serving was massive with generous amount of pawns, fish fillets and squids. The broth and egg noodle was quite tasty and cooked well. Good service and good value for money. I will come back and try other dishes next time.
