Best in Sydney!!!! I tried Leichhardt last night whose owners say they're the originals at Darlinghurst and Bondi wins hands down!!! Combos are twice the size (I can't usually finish and have for lunch/snack the next day!!), $5 cheaper and you still get your free salad. Taste is still delicious too!!

Booked a table for 20 last minute and they found us a spot for us no problems. Huge restaurant and it gets packed but didn't stop the staff from smashing out the service super quick. Staff were super friendly and happy to help where they could. The food was just like the no names we all love. There's a big play area for the kids which they all loved. Overall great experience, exactly what we wanted, will definately be going back!

What's your view of "it is what it is"? I mean, I get the whole "things are not what they seem", but thats pretty rare in restaurants. It's true that the good places, put on a show...makeup, lighting and a dance to lure you into a positive mindset to enjoy a meal that has about 25pc of the price spent on the actual produce you're chomping on. No names at erskineville bowlo is pretty much in the what you see, you get camp. The food comes just long enough after you order it, for them to have actually cooked to order. The fish and salad in picture (i subbed my chips for more salad...gotta watch my dress size), comes with their long loved crusty white bread and (for some reason) lurpak butter. $19.50 is a pretty good deal, despite the fact that at this price, its farmed (probably thai) barramundi. The other plates looked predictably 1983 good pub food...big portions and cheap. It is what it is.

If you're looking for a hearty meal that merges traditional pub food and Italian, this is the place to be. Always go the combo meal, you won't be disappointed.

Love going to this No Names Italian Restaurant! As a kid, I grew up with one in Darlinghurst and it tastes just the same! The food is fresh and fast at a reasonable price. It's in the Erskineville Bowling club and they do take away. The atmosphere is a bowling club in regional NSW and you don't feel you are 5 minutes away from the trendy Swanson street! Definitely worth a trip!
