Fantastic first experience at The Hungry Goat, greeted with a smile from the hard working barista Sushaan. Simple things done perfectly at this place, honest tasty food and fantastic coffee. Would come back and recommend to anyone looking for a good brew! Well done!

great food and coffee here. great customer service from the lady as always <3 super happy! however, as i come to the shop quite often, one guy with glasses from the back kitchen seems not to be very helpful. but the lady is awesome!! love her so much <3

I Love Hungry Goat Cafe in Marrickville. They make awesome food. My absolute favorites are the Breakfast wrap, The Deep fried Southern Chicken Burger and the Vegetarian Focaccia Sandwich. Staff are very efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend this Cafe to anyone!!! Hungry goat, you are doing a GREAT JOB!!!!

The cafe give affordable price, and good place for hangout with friend and family. The food is good, especially the coffee, it taste very nice and it gave unique flavour. The service is good it always priority to the customers need, especially the front staff, it very friendly to the customers when ordering some coffee.

inconsistent coffee. needs to hire better barista for the days when your main barista/owner is not doing the coffees. when it's good. it's unbelievable great coffee. would give 5 stars if the coffee was consistently that good. i get mine delivered and can tell when a different person makes it because its night and day. completely different coffees depending on who makes it. i think the only person who does the coffees perfect is the owner. I am trying to give this place business but i've given up. I've been ordering coffee almost every single day for the last 3 months from a different coffee shop because of the inconsistent coffee served by hungry goat. hungry goat have missed out on over 60 orders by me in the last 3 months. some days i order 2 coffees with food, some days no food and just coffee so i while my orders aren't very large, i will keep coming back and give you business if you are able to make consistently good coffee I've given hungry goat several chances to get by business back because i know when the owner does the coffee perfect but the 3rd stuff up in a row was the last straw. I ordered coffee and got given a mocha. this wasn't the first time it happened. it was the 3rd time over the space of 2 months i got given the wrong kind of drink. i think the last order. i got given a hot chocolate. gave up and started ordering from my backup coffee place. been ordering coffees from that place almost every day for 3 months and they haven't stuffed up my order once and serves consistent good coffee. my advice. one of your barristas needs training or you need to hire a new one cos it's hurting your business. 1 person does it great. the other keeps stuffing it up.

Great food! Very affordable if there were ten stars id give them it! Cracker coffee and staff! New employee Stacy is excellent! Employees really know how to make you feel like you've had the best experience and make sure you leave happy 110% can not recomend it enough.

I work round the corner and find myself in this cafe at least once a day!! Coffee, service and food are all outstanding. Marrickville is full of small cafes and having tried the majority, I don't reckon any of them come close to the Hungry Goat. Keep up the good work.

Basic, disorganised cafe but the basic foods and specials are good value (full meals look very expensive for this sort of place) and the coffee was hot and syrupy and cheap, so at least it's better than Ona's cold and weak stuff. Paesanella's on the other side though so you may as well go there.

DO NOT order the beef teriyaki poke bowl. It was not a poke bowl. I paid $17 for raw vegetables, a tiny bit of beef and a tiny bit of quinoa. Not worth it by a long stretch.

It’s a hidden gem, a little haven of comfort and delicious offerings in the midst of Marrickville’s industrial area, lots of natural light and friendly service. Weekdays only M-F. We ordered the following: Breakfast bruschetta, Veggie burger and Coffees. All hit the right spots, this cafe shop is really worth checking out.
