Had a less than mediocre meal today. Place is run down with sloppy service, non smiling staff and an uncomfortable atmosphere. I accidentally pressed 1 which was a major accident. Not recommended.

Had a very nice experience for the dine in! Worth spending your night for the drinks and dine. Great service!

Great selection of nice spirits, staff are lovely and the food is fresh and generous

Nice comfy pub with a log fire and a good menu..only complaint is the conga line of losers that come in just to use the toilet without even buying a drink..its not a public toilet..

Used to had more choice of menu but seems like changed it's like steak house. Price was bit expensive from this pic price around $30 from lunch time mmmmm but food was good. 😉 I enjoyed

Excellent service and portion sizes. My wife and I have tried different pub menu such as classic schnitzel, steak, bangers n mash, lasagna and pizzas, and it never disappoint ! Her fav is schnitzel with Diane sauce (we have tried other sauces even the gravy is so good ! ) Last night she had the grilled chicken with boscaiola and they were spot on. The grilled chicken is so flavourful and not dry, and the sauce has so many bacon and mushroom. My favourite is lasagna and though it’s not as popular as the steak there (this place is known for the steak), it is the best. I love to cook and I have tried lasagna from many Italian restaurants including the famous Italian bowl, so yes I am greatly impressed. Portion is massive for 16 dollar. Took it home and had it the next day or when It’s 1 am and I want some drunk food. Best ever ! The place can accommodate family with little ones, friends who want to watch the games and have some amazing meat feast, or even little date night at the side of the bar. Plenty of events, friendly atmosphere, inclusive, and great food for the cost. Drinks are the same, from classic wines, liquor and beers/ciders alike. Quality and quantity alike. Classic gem at the heart of Marrickville. 100% recommend. ❤️

Great for sport watching and ice cold Reschs or Coops on tap. Smoking courtyard with a massive screen for the main game. Not everyone's cup of tea admittedly, but it's lively and real. Sort of place that hasn't suffered from much gentrification. And in that sense, it's ace.

Nice pub. Haven't eaten here in a while but good selection of beers. Also has plenty of space.
