Review Graphic Arts Club - Mascot

Very, very surprised to visit the South Sydney Graphic Ats Club, Mascot, after the fiasco of having our work lunch at the Graphic Arts Club, Ultimo, more than a few years ago. This club just oozed good vibes, ambience, with laid-back atmosphere, comfort & subtle elegance. The staff are friendly, professional & a good place to chill-out, with a bar, restaurant, gaming room & most of all, free-parking. My friends & I love the place & we're now new members.

Really great place for a team lunch, quick service, friendly staff and great food. I had the Mexican Parma and it was flawless. The meat tender and the crumbs delightfully crunchy and the addition of tortilla chips was a nice touch as many places I have had Mexican parmas at think jalapeno are enough. The churros were great, the strawberry coulis was an excellent companion, I didn't rate the chocolate sauce highly at all but the coulis was all I needed to enjoy my churros. Unfortunately I ate them too fast to remember to take a photo.

Driven past this place literally 100's of times, finally went in had a beer and a delicious pizza. Nice friendly staff. My only gripe was the lounge area seemed a little too clinical like the foyer of a hotel chain. Apart from that great.

Beautiful relaxing lounge where we had pre lunch drinks and than coffee and cake after lunch. Well worth visiting just for the decor and service here. The lunch itself was disappointing. As expected, there was the normal club menu, with moderate pricing $25-35 range. The Graphic Arts Club decor being so bold and fun set such high expectations that the lunch would match this. Sadly it was just average.

Not impressed. Kitchen had closed at 8:45pm & we weren't told that bar was about to close at 9:30pm. So we could only buy one round of drinks and some potato crisps. To be fair it *was* Monday night & staff were friendly. They just didn't want to go out of their way or work for a second more than was absolutely necessary. We were there because my sister died recently & was a loyal patron of this club, holding her 60th & several Xmas parties there.

Excellent local club, visitors welcome. Fantastic meals, a cut above regular club offerings. And great prices. And friendly staff. Doesnt get any better than this!

AbFab, Place. Comfortable Roomy for functions Lovely People Great Service Good Food. A nice little Nook You can become a member $30- for 6yrs, 10%discount amongst Other things. Great recommendation

I was very pleased with this find! Staying nearby we just happened to pop by. It was just lovely inside. Nice decor, comfy and relaxing. We also felt like cocktails and sure enough some splendid cocktails to be had as well as tasty food at decent prices! I am quite keen to visit again before we leave.

Friendly staff and food is cooked top notch. Definitely recommend.

We dropped by as overnight travellers, and had the best meal in the resturant. Excellant friendly staff and the best brownies ever !

Wanted to pass my thanks onto Bill and the team at SSGAC. The Club hosted my 50th birthday bash recently and it went off with a bang ! They handled a change in weather seamlessly for me and from there things only improved. Great food, great drinks and no request was refused-only the one for us to want to keep partying! Thanks again for making my night great!

First time to this place & was very impressed . I was there for QANTAS Rugby club reunion & they looked after our group very well. Food was excellent & bar prices reasonable. The place has full TAB & Keno services available & friendly staff. Would definitely visit again when in the area.

We were here for our Xmas lunch on the 21/12/16. The staff were extremely rude, served our group incorrect meals, didn't apologise for it, and didn't offer to fix their mistake and blamed us for their stuff ups. The club itself is nice, but the two staff members we dealt with were rude and obnoxious.

Nice atmosphere and the panko crumbed chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce is a must. It was really really yummy 👌

This place is the best kept secret in the East....and I like it that way.

I like the food the staff where friendly I would of like to see more seafood on the menu I love my seafood but in saying that I enjoyed what I had.

This is the best club I've ever been a member of. I have lived in Mascot now for about 2 years. The club is a friendly haven from this crazy world. I would love to say that Gaylynn is a lovely person, she always makes myself and my partner Chris always welcome. The rest of the staff are great as well.

We are relatively new members to this club and thank our lucky stars for finding it. Friendly, efficient staff who go out of their way to make sure we are comfortable and warmly welcomed. We took mum there last Friday evening as an early Mother's Day treat and had a beautiful evening, delicious meal and attentive service. Do yourself a favour and check it out.

Very friendly service. Lovely food. Parking available, but walking distance for us. So altogether a fantastic place.

Apart from having a function at the club,where the food and service was outstanding we have had dinner a number of times.the service and attention from staff was excellent.everyone is so friendly and nothing is too much of a bother.you are made to feel at home.we will definitely return time and time again

I went here for a work Christmas party and i woukd tge food is pretty good and not to far from the station i would recommend this place for a function.<br/>

Ordered wagu burger and chips at lunch. Both Meat and chips taste great and thick. Schnitzel and salad comes in good volume. Be prepared with empty stomach to get there:)

GAC is little more than an RSL, the biggest selling point is that its probably one of the few close licensed venues in the Mascot corporate area. The food is no better than your average pub or club feed, all with similar prices. The place presents well however, and there is quite alot of parking. The staff are usually quite friendly and helpful, assisting me when I had an issue with their ATM. <br/><br/>They have a sneaky outdoor dining area and the deck area which fronts onto Coward street which can be enjoyed depending on the time of the day.

Been going here for years! Dinner, lunch, Family birthday's and friend's events. Always great food, good value, lovely service and a great atmosphere.

Frequently dine here with friends and family for dinner or for when functions have been organised here. The food is amazing, the staff are friendly and attentive and the decor and atmosphere are great! Highly recommend dining here.

Hit and miss. mainly miss. 3/10. Staff are: unprofessional but polite<br/>Food is: I feel like its cooked by amateurs. soup was ok but too salty, panna cotta is grainy and powdery on 2/3 different occassions... very unplesant (only once it was nice, but even then, it wasnt great and i saw it come out different for another customer). Fish and "wedges" was crap. fish was dry and untasty and wedges is more like slices of baked potato. Thats just a few examples, all the other dishes are not even worth mentioning.<br/> Its says its fine dining, it isnt. Food overall clearly isnt that great. <br/>Presentation: Food is nothing spectacular but the dessert is awful looking. No effort into it whatsoever. looks like a child squirt syrup and they plopped the panna cotta on top so its sliding everywhere and hard to pick up.<br/><br/>I wont be coming back for a long time.

It's ok 6/10. This place needs some variety and attentive staff. You could literally wait 20 minutes just to order. The food...well it's ok the 3 course menu is good, but find the prices well well over priced. A salad come with leaves and that's it!! Overall, I'll go there if I really have too

Could be a really good local restaurant. <br/>Waited half an hour for our entree,when it arrived it was the wrong one.<br/>Finally the Spicy Prawn dish arrived and they where raw.<br/>They took 1 glass of red wine of the bill.<br/>Waiter didn't knew the Menu when you ask her a question about it.<br/>The head Waitress is very load and over caring to a stage that you think FGS FO.<br/>And try to turn the lights down a bit so it doesn't like a RSL Club<br/>Went twice maybe give it another go, maybe.

Great Food!!. I went for mother's day for lunch with my family and i have to say the food was amazing from entree to dessert. So i went back a few days later had a salmon and it was perfectly cooked, highly recommended.

Spe. Our family unfortunately held a "wake" at Sydney Graphics Art Club. We had 56 people attend the wake (I know this cause I did a head count and they were our guests). When the food eventually came out - the only way to describe it was "stingy" and quality "very ordinary" for example ¼ sandwich portions was served per person; calamari rings (imitation calamari) were mushy. Interestingly enough they were quick to serve drinks, why...because it was revenue!!! When I questioned the lack of catering I was told by management that we had 86 guests. I told management they had miscounted. Staff verbally and acted inappropriately i.e on one occasion a staff member was caught eating food from one of the plates and laughing it off and making inappropriate comments about his long day!!! When I complained to management, they couldn't have cared less. What hope does the club have if this is the way to treat mourners/guests!!!! Take my advice and GO ELSEWHERE.

Food was ok but the people taking the orders are a bit rude.

Is there an "it's ok" button?. The decor is probably a bit better than the food - definately better than the service. Waited near on 20-25 minutes for our mains only to get our salad 15 minutes later (and I know it doesn't take that long) - all on a Wednesday night too! Still, a good place to try a 'camel burger' and the food is actually above average for what would ordinarily be considered pub grub (if not slightly pricey - having eaten out on the bistro end).

I've eaten here 3 or 4 times, lunch and dinner, with mixed outcomes. The service is below par, staff often give the impression they don't want to be there. It's usually pretty quiet when I've been there and as such only have minimal staff. Lunch meals are OK, burgers and such. Dinners are not so good and don't live up to the lovely atmosphere in the club. I really like the venue but the service/food is letting it down.

Nice decor, surly staff, dirty cutlery and average food. Give this place a miss.

RSL Food. The graphic arts club has a good starting block; a nice modern comfortable venue, and reasonable prices. However, the food and service leaves too much to be desired. Give the GAC a big miss.

The food is average but the location is super dodgy!
