Review Camy's Charcoal Chicken - Mascot

Love the chips always fresh and crispy with just the right amount of salt. Fish and chips are awesome also,grill chicken is great to. So far everything I’ve tried was good highly recommend this place. Will return when I fly back to Sydney.

Ordered the Hail Caesar, literally a Caesar salad on a burger even with the egg. The burger was amazing, chips were as good as you'd get anywhere, also tried a couple of their salads and the chicken breast. Everything just really well cooked and tasty.

Chicken ok but the chips were great. Very crispy and nice flavour, not really like the regular chips at all.

06/12/2021 - Take away Orderd the wings with honey soy sauce and they were insanely salty and I just could not eat them. Was extremely disappointing. The regular chicken and salad was good however the onion ring was also on the salty side too.

Expired chicken in caesar salad ! Found a fungus in the chicken ! This is very dangerous will never order here anymore 😡

Good friendly service with a smile. Nice atmosphere and music. Tables are cleaned regularly. Ordered the Plain Jane burger in a regular combo. The burger was tasty, just enough bun and meat ratio. The waygu beef was nice and juicy, while bun was not really milky or had a crunch, it was good enough. The chilli and mayo sauce was generous but maybe would prefer more. Chips are great, has good flavour and are very crispy, even to the last chip. Would like to try other things next time I visit and would recommend to friends.

I'd say one of the best chicken/burger restaurants not just in mascot but as a whole. The chips here (which I usually have with some gravy) are delicious, just the right amount of salt and seasoning on these bad boys. The wait time when ordering can be a little long but that's what you should expect with higher quality food. These burgers are cooked right in front of you and made to order, they are delicious and well seasoned. Staff is friendly and the prices are decent for the quality of food. A must try place if you enjoy chicken and burgers.

The Lebanese Wrap with chicken, tabouli, garlic sauce and lettuce and tomato was really good. Freshly cooked chicken, fresh salads and a generous amount of garlic. Quality was not dissimilar to any Western Sydney charcoal chicken restaurant. A slight shame that tomato was $1 extra but for $12 all up it makes for a reasonably healthy and yummy lunch.

A friend kept going on about Camy's schnitzel and I figured $15 for a schnitzel meal seemed great value, but this schnitzel was tiny.  About half the size I expected and have gotten elsewhere (although at higher prices).  It was pretty good - tender chicken, nice batter although not crispy - but not worth $15.

Probably a little inaccurate to base my judgement on a beef dish but I ordered the Plain Jane burger which comes with a beef patty, cheese, caramelized onions and their special spicy sauce. Generally an ok burger but the patty was overcooked til it was as dry as cardboard. I'd hope their chicken is a bit better but at the very least don't order the beef when you go here.

Would rate 3.5 if I can. Ordered grilled chicken, ginger fried rice, chips and pesto salad. Chicken is good. Fried rice good but a bit bland. Chips good, but I’ve had better (borderline soggy but still ok). Pesto salad is really good.

Service here is great and location is convenient as it's a short walk from the station. There's a wide range of food available and there's seating inside and just out side of the precinct.

Needed to catch up w an old old mate fm another lifetime n decided to get their chicken caesar wrap. Venue is clean, food nicely displayed. Cant fault them for being generous w the chicken in the wrap. I realize it is hard work in the takeaway food biz n how dressings are most times bought in bulk. It is also common practice to ‘recycle’ unsold chooks in a chook shop, which is fine by me as the ‘leftover’ chooks have plenty of life in them still.<br/><br/>The chicken caesar wrap we got had all the right ingredients n a fat generous one at that. Good value for money. Perhaps a simple squeeze of fresh lemon would elevate the dry chooks? And the addition of olive oil soaked anchovies? Or some sprinkles of proper parmesan cheese? The kitchen could also look into modding the dressing a little as it was simply flat.<br/><br/>Camy’s got lots of potential being located where they are, across mascot train station n among towers of newly built apartments.

Chicken was average, nothing to rave about it, really.<br/>I had ¼ chicken combo, that comes with chips and drink that cost $11.50.<br/>I decided to change the chips with the salad, that’s extra $2.50.<br/>Salad was a little under seasoning, but it here were so many to choose from.<br/>Chicken can be need marinate more and would baste with some sauce or extra seasoning, as it is barely taste of anything.<br/>

The chicken schnitzel burger that my husband ordered was perfectly balanced, light and tasty, and the crunchy chips as a side was amazing. It was unbelievable to sit there while you wait for your food to come coz the smell is so heavenly and mouth watering. I was not disappointed with my chicken chargrilled combo, very tasty and tender, I would definitely have it again!

Best lasagne I've eaten in my life! Could be the mum's recipe. Delicious! Fast and friendly service and good value for money. Probably the best place to eat in Mascot from what I've seen so far

Amazing! We had the burger with chicken schnitzel, lettuce, American cheese, mayo and chilli. It was so light and delicious, which was a pleasant surprise! Highly recommend. We will return!
