This Vietnamese take away restaurant does a decent pho and a nice BBQ pork bahn mi, as well as a good Viet coffee. They have a variety of fresh rolls available and a few bahn mi options. The BBQ pork bahn mi is made out of a sweet vietnamese type pattie and comes with fresh salad. Worthy of a visit if the lines are too long at Hong Ha

Was around Mascot today and thought I'd give this one a go Ordered their vietnamese chicken roll and was glad I did.

The roll is not as crunchy as the popular one down the road but everything else is better. The cucumber is very fresh so are the onions carrots. The shredded chicken is very juicy and the extra chili requested complemented the already packed flavor.

Bottom line : Great food. Great service. Good value.

This cafe is located in couple of doors down to Hong Ha bakery. I came to Mascot to buy Hong Ha's Vietnamese rolls but the queue was ridiculously long so I thought I will give this shop a try instead. This place only had couple of customers and their menu is similar to Hong Ha's. On many occations when I saw this shop right next door to the Hong Ha but without any customers, I thought this place must have terrible Vietnamese rolls….  And today I found out this is not true at all!
Their menu consists of Vietnamese rolls, rice paper rolls, Phos and fresh fruit juices freshly made in the store.  I bought Chicken rolls, Pork rolls and mixed rice paper rolls.
I was pleasantly surprised how nice they were. They are very similar to Hong Ha rolls including the price and the ingredients. The difference might be; chilies were cut differently, bread was similar but maybe it was slightly drier and they put slightly less sauces, but even still the flavors were really similar and it was a good sandwich. Rice paper roll was amazing too, the prawn roll is really good, I found the chicken one slightly chickeny. My husband also agrees with Pork roll being very similar quality to Hong ha.  I requested extra spicy and I think chili is very important ingredients for these Vietnamese rolls. It's surprising to see there haven't been any reviews of this cafe until now; I think this place is great, I think people should give this place a chance too!

One of my favourite banh mi spots in Sydney. Much prefer their chicken roll over the other popular joints on the same street, tried them all. Super crusty bread & well-seasoned warm shredded chicken. And hardly ever a queue to wait in.

We ordered 3 rolls and they were all hefty and generous on the meat. The crispy pork roll featured large, chunky pieces of pork belly with good crackling. The BBQ lemongrass chicken was freshly cooked to order and was juicy and flavourful (however, the heat from the chicken steamed the bread and turned it soft). The regular pork was pretty tasty, but pate and soy sauce distribution could be a bit better. Their chilli is not particularly hot but mainly adds the aroma of chilli, which is nice. We realised that they only put pate on the regular pork roll - would've wanted it on the crispy pork too so will ask next time :)

Very authentic food! Not a fancy commercial place, but a great choice for Vietnamese pho and rice paper rolls!! Nicely prepared and carefully wrapped even for takeaway.

Their crispy pork roll is super yummy especially if you put it in the oven for just a bit! And the best part is you don’t have to wait forever to eat it.

Really good food and nice and friendly service. Pho, spring rolls, salad, juices, everything we tried we loved. And tasted real. I thought I heard the pho soup takes a few days to prepare. No shortcuts. Only reason I didn’t drink it all was that it was a generous size and more than I could for in. The shop has the sort of feel that makes me want to come back regularly. I much prefer this to a fancy big restaurant with no soul.

I used to go to the "other" bakery a few doors down but after waiting in very long lines I thought I would try this one. Wow! The best banh mi I have had in Sydney and I only go here now. The service is excellent ... very friendly and polite and the flavour of the rolls is perfect and dare I say ... the hygiene much better with no pigeons in the shop

We came across this place whilst waiting in line to get pork rolls from Hong Ha. After a painfully long wait we decided to just get food from here instead. We got the crispy pork rolls which were $10 each. This is on the higher end of pricing but worth every cent. The bread was fresh, crisp and had good structural integrity. They were generous with the filling and the pork was very juicy and had good crackling. I asked for mine with pate as I don't think that's normally included in this type of roll. This place definitely rivals Hong Ha and with the benefit of no wait I would probably prefer eating here from now on.
