Just came for a quick bite and drink on a Sunday morining. Atmosphere and decor was very nice, spacious and relaxing. Lots of morining sun. Omelette with salmon was huge and so tasty. Green lips soothie delicious and fresh. Nice little place.
This place is great! It's a hidden little gem inside the Adina Hotel complex. The menu is well designed with many appealing dishes. The wine list is short but varied. Service was fabulous! Friendly, efficient and down to earth. Can definitely recommend.
I walked in, upset that there was no room service in the Adina hotel. Intending to get my food takeaway to take up to my room, on entering I noticed there was an amazing atmosphere in the Project, so I decided to stay. At EVERY interaction (and there were a few) it validated for me that that was a good decision.
The person that greeted me at the front was so in-tune and a lovely way with customers. The interactions throughout were spot on. The food was absolutely gorgeous and the desert was incredible and looked and tasted the best I have ever had!!!
That was 3-days ago & I can't get it out of my mind. The following day at work was so important for me, & that night really set me up for a great day. What a surprise...thank you to all the staff !!

Project Cafe Bar and Grill is located in the Adina Apartment Hotel Sydney Airport and is close to Qantas headquarters. The venue has been open for 4 months and is spacious with a rustic/industrial chic feel to it. The ceiling is black with exposed pipes, there is beautiful brickwork surrounding where you sit and the high tables with gorgeous high padded copper chairs just add to the "chicness". Project Café Bar & Grill bake their own bread and pastry and are open from 6.30am Monday's to Friday's. Breakfast is from 6.30am to 11.30 am then from 11.30am to 2.30pm they serve lunches. You can pre-order your lunch which is very handy. They're also open weekends. Our Artisan wood fired pizza (10 inches) of choice was the Regina Margherita - tomato sauce dop, fior di latte, burrata and wild rocket. The Margherita is one of our favourites and we were keen to try it here. The wild rocket went so well and gave it an earthy flavour. We really liked the giant hunk of burrata cheese and thoroughly enjoyed the soft pizza base and crust. We then had their Caruso Calzone - tomato dop, ricotta, spicy salami, wild mushrooms and buffalo mozzarella. OMG this was so impressive when it arrived. It was vibrant in colour and had good bite. The spicy salami was so good. The calzone itself was yummy. This really was a great dish. One of the best calzone's Mlady said!
Amongst the hustle and bustle of the Sydney rat race during the weekdays, The Project Cafe sits hidden away in a small business park in Mascot, serving to the local businessmen (and women) only the best food. Whether it be one of their signature juice or smoothies, or their Sicilian baked eggs...there's always something to look forward to for lunch! The Project Cafe is also open for dinner and on weekends, so even if you are unable to find a job in Mascot, they cater for everybody... and guess what?! The cafe is only a short walk away from Mascot station, so if you are in the city, why not drop by for coffee? Alternatively, if you happen to have a couple hours to spare to catch your connecting flight, Mascot is only 1 - 2 stops away from International or Domestic station!
The interior is boasting with light, perfect for taking pictures - yet the furniture is quite dark and grunge-like which creates a cozy - urban - possibly hipster feel, with a nice touch of copper and beautiful coloured flowers for decoration. An ideal location for corporate events or special occasions.
As avid food adventurers, we are always on the lookout for new cafes and restaurants that could become Sydney’s next big thing. So, when we heard about Project Café, Bar & Grill opening up in Mascot, we pushed it to the top of our ‘places to go’ list. Located conveniently 3 minutes walk away from Mascot train station, Project Café, Bar & Grill Mascot is nestled quietly between various blocks of office buildings. We visited during lunchtime on a Monday when the restaurant was bustling with suited-up businessmen and women, showing off its popularity amongst the workers in the area.
Every one at the table really enjoyed their meals... We'll be back for the breakfast... Great industrial decor
