Review Mcdonald's - Mascot

Cool McDonald's with an upstairs kitchen. Good place to go before departing. They also accept the November my maccas deals for locals. There's a rail linking the kitchen to the downstairs bringing the food down

A unique MacDonalds in Sydney. You need to be departing to see it. All the food is made upstairs and passed down via conveyor belt down. This is to make use of the otherwise useless vertical space. More common in densely populated countries. Slightly more expensive for a large meal (~$1). Understandable for being in an airport.

Visited early morning because the hotel breakfast didn't start in time for me to check in for an international flight in time. The restaurant could have done with a good clean, but food was ok.

After waiting for a simple order of chips and a mcflurry they gave it away to a random. Then preceded to tell me that i picked it up. The person who served me had seen me standing there the whole time. Such a joke

They know they have a captive audience and treat you as such. 30 minutes wait for food and when they stuffed up the order, it took them another 25 minutes to fix. Manager nowhere to be seen. Apparently hiding in the upstairs kitchen...

Slowest McDonalds ... ever! Waited 10 minutes for my sausage muffin and coke. Food is just your average McDonalds standard, except this one has soggy toasted muffins.

One of the innovated store where their processing and operation is done on 2nd floor and using conveyor belt to delivery to the 1st floor.

Interesting automation. Only takeout for nearby dinning hall

Breakfast bundle wasn’t that bad and available on limited time.
Bacon egg roll with a slice of cheese, $5.95 and come with coffee too ( 40 cent added in that price.)
Hotcake is yummy too.

This is the newly renovated McDonald’s with the fancy looking elevators that deliver the food from the kitchen upstairs. The Maccas is located at the foodcourt with lots of tables and looking out the tarmac. I had the jam Angus burger and i felt that the jam made the burger too sweet that I regretted ordering this halfway through the burger. The Custard pie is ok and tasted alot like corn custard.

mcnuggets are the airport while waiting for a friend. you cant beat that. the price is more than outside. the food takes a tad longer than outside as well

The chips were served hot and fresh, while the chicken burgers were made of chicken patties. Quick choice for eating in airport. Standard mcdonald's food.

In an attempt to expand my culinary spectrum, I chose to fly international just for the hell of it and it would be remiss of me not to do a review at the insitution that is Mac Donalds Family Restaurant while I was waiting in the Sydney Airport International terminal like so many avid reviewers. It is almost a ritual to visit Maccas before a morning flight to the point it's factored into the travel plans of many when planning to get to the airport.

The Sausage and Egg McMuffin Meal was my choice on this morning. The crumpet was toasted evenly and provided a crispy base with the right amount of chew to support the sausage patty which was evidently slimmer than previously which I have no doubt the egg size reduction will come next in the Australian food industry portion shrinking revolution! Besides that, the hash brown was crispy although still soaked in oil which tends to be the case when you cook a large batch too quickly into oil that has not reached the correct temperature.

In all the nostalgia that McDonalds brings back, I thought of my partner to the point I might add her to my user name so we can both cherish our foodie adventures together and get invited to a meet up or two!

best place to eat at airport in terms of taste (classic maccas) and price. favourite is maccas breakfast before flight, recommend to get takeaway as well before you fly (airplane food is the worst)

Always love a Maccas run before a flight at Sydney Airport! My favourite is the fillet o fish burger! Love their chicken nuggets with sweet sour sauce too!

Tried the McCafe right next to the mcdonalds. Had the ham n cheese croissant (very average), the iced latte (ok), and a bag of assorted macaroons (very doughy, wouldn't recommend them)
