Review Sumo Ramen - Mascot

Food taste great! That's for the 4 star. The down side is the waitress don't speak english, only chinese. It ironic, japanese resto with Chinese waitress and menu is in mandarin and english text. They should go with "Sumo Chinese Ramen" 👍

The ramen was good. I wont say the best i have had but the portion was good.. cheap price. With thick noodle and a medium flavour for the broth... i had the tonkotsu ramen sumo size... and omg i was full when i left.. the lunch time deal was good also one ramen one side and a can of drink for $15... if you want to know more see my pics

Food was ok and very reasonably priced. I got the spicy beef ramen but it wasn't spicy. People who worked there don't speak English so a little difficult to communicate.

I've been here twice this week for lunch and have been satisfied with their serv8ce and food. The chicken Katsu was in my opinion the best I've had thus far. Great portions of servings at a very affordable cost. I'll be there again

I really loved this place! It wasn’t super busy when we went, but the staff were friendly and it was clean and super quick. The food was delicious, I had the beef ramen, which is spicy af, but so delicious! I will be going back for sure!

Good deal, cheap. But may be due to the low price tag. The portion was rather small. Taste good but...not satisfy

it was a bad experience, when i came in, i was alone and there was only 2 staff working, one of them is chilling with her phone, and another one was sleeping on the couch, none of them are speaking english, there are no kitchen staff visible. The back of the restaurant is full of boxes, only few lightings are on, and the AC was off, ordered Tonkotsu chashu Ramen and Chicken karaage, the order came pretty quick, The ramen only has 2 bite sized chashu in it.... it was like a quarter of a normal cut chashu u would find in any other ramen... and 2 pieces only, only given half of the soy eggs, Nori was also cut in half in triangle shape. That one star above is for the chicken karaage it was good, hot and fresh.

Try the rice in this restaurant, low price with excellent taste. Teriyaki beef is highly recommended. Less sause if you don’t like sweet flavor.

Had the tonkotsu ramen with some edamame and gyoza on the side. The gyoza were probably the best part of the meal, pork was tasty and the pastry was well cooked. The ramen had a generous portion of broth and noodles but lacked flavour. The chashu portion was small, the meat itself was dry, like over cooked pork loin. Good value for money at lunchtime but not great in terms of flavour.

Ramen that stick together?? That tells me that they dont even serve fresh noodle. No no no no no...And the dandan noodle is just a spicy tonkotsu ramen. Not even dandan. Disappointed.

Greetings. I rarely give bad reviews but the food this place serves is beyond terrible. We had two different ramen, paired with Gyoza and Karaage. However, what they cooked is deep-fried dumplings and I doubt if their cook even tried to google 'Gyoza' before. The ramen is dreadful as well. The noodle itself was over-cooked so it was way too soft. We tried two kinds of broth which were Tonkotsu and Shio. The Tonkotsu was definitely NOT cooked by boiling pork bones soup while the Shio one was extremely watery and we both believe it's simply noodle soup with salt. They tried to make the noodle smelling better by adding sesame oil which is a nice try but insufficient to balance the taste. The only dish was fine is the Karaage but how can you really make mistakes with fried chicken. I strongly suggest not to go to this place unless they fired their current chef.

Good value, quick service and huge servings. Soup is not very authentic but good enough if you’re not picky.<br/>We got seaweed salad and crumbed calamari as well, they are average, but at least food is cheap.

Food was delicious, satisfying and affordable! $15 for a ramen meal, I'll have it anytime! I really liked the ambience of the restaurant too. <br/>Glad I gave it a go despite the other reviews, not sure what everyone's complaining about..

Shittest place ever omg seriously the soups were disgusting the meat were frozen the table were sticky!!! Bad service, only 1 person served the whole restaurant they put a lot of pepper. Definitely will not come back here

I ordered a softshell crab from here, the crab was over cooked, and the combination udo was to much MSG, its like eating a instant noodle soup, and the shashimi was bit stint!!!! finally didnt eat, over all not very nice, bad experience!!!

I actually really like it. Service is good. The Boss are very nice guy. Don't know why there's so many bad views. Hahahaha. Funny. Food is nice. I like it. 😍😍

A new Cnr restaurant recently opened in mascot, food and prices are great overall. The chk katsudon is plentiful and delicious. The ramen is abit over cooked and soft. Overall great

I come here and ordered chicken karaage and unagi don. When the chicken karaage arrived, I am surprised that it is burnt. And upon biting it, I can feel that the chicken is re-fried again because the inside of the chicken is just warm (not even hot!!). Unagi don was good, decent serving and the eel is hot. But I am completely disappointed with a burnt chicken karaage. The interior is good and the service is friendly.
