The Lobby Cafe is a short walk from Mascot station. This cafe has serviced the workers of the area for many year and now under new management, still producing quality food. The Lobby cafe is open from 6am - 4pm providing a good selection for breakfast, lunch and are open for that afternoon coffee.
The Lobby cafe have healthy options including a range of salads and freshly made juice. There are sandwiches and wraps for those in a hurry, they also have a range of tasty burgers on offer. The katsu chicken burger a must, the chicken breast in panko crumb, asian slaw, on a brioche bun is simply delicious.
If you are after a hot meal and some variety, the hot bar does the trick. The meal options change daily and are reasonably priced. We are certainly a fan of their Malaysian chicken curry. They also do beef, vegetarian and fish meals. The fish is super popular, so get in early.
It is of the better lunch places in the area, with friendly service and good food.
The name sums it up - the Lobby Cafe is located in an office building lobby. There’s nothing fancy or pretentious about the place, just friendly, down-to-earth service and delicious and hearty home cooking.
Open weekdays for breakfast and lunch, the Lobby Cafe predominantly caters to local businesses and workers and it’s well worth a visit if you’re in the area.
The breakfast menu offers pastries, toast, fresh fruit and muesli, eggs and perennial favourites, the bacon and egg roll and smashed avo on toast. For lunch, there are ten or so burgers on the menu along with a changing daily selection of salads and hot meals. Having taken over the premises nearly a year ago, the owners have really tuned in to the preferences of their customers, learning the most popular meals based on custom salad orders and then building their menu choices around that for the salad bar.
We enjoyed a good dose of greens with a mixed bean and salmon salad and roasted vegetable and halloumi salad (with other salad choices that day including Greek salad, potato salad, and chicken Caesar salad). Together with the Veggie Stack (grilled eggplant, zucchini, capsicum, tomato, avocado and halloumi), it was a healthy and wholesome lunch, with a refreshing green juice of kale, pineapple and ginger. There’s a choice of fresh juice combinations buts it’s worth noting that they will make you a drink with your choice of the seasonal fruit and veg on offer.
There’s spacious indoor and outdoor seating for those eating in, and the cafe is geared up to ensure a fast takeaway service - important if you need to grab and go. And did I mention they serve Gypsy Espresso coffee and healthy paleo treats like bounty slice and cranberry coconut bars? Thanks Andrew for the attentive service and yummy meal.

As the name suggests, this cafe is in the lobby of a corporate building. Open 5 days a week serving up a wide range of breakfasts to lunch. Bacon and eggs, to burgers to pastas, they also do catering.
We had a chicken burger and a beef burger, served with chips ofc. Both burgers, the meat was juicy and not dry. Serving freshly squeezed juice & Gypsy Coffee.
We heard they are getting their menu revamped! Go & check out their new menu!

The Lobby Cafe is conveniently located along Coward Street, this is the perfect spot for lunch and your morning coffee runs!. The owner has put a lot of effort and attention into what his customers want, he rotates a lunch menu weekly. He has some all time favourite selections which have been based on his best selling items, but he also has different options in the hot food window daily. You can be sure you wont be bored and you’ll also be spoilt for choice!
Loved the Burgers and the slices were gluten free and amazing!!
I am fortunate enough to enjoy the day off work and I catch up with my little brother over some breakfast at The Lobby Cafe in Mascot. My brother is in a very chatty mood but I can't seem to focus as I'm hungry. The Lobby Cafe is located at the bottom of a corporate building. The Lobby Cafe has new owners and they are revamping the joint. They've got options of make your own salads and sandwiches which they are looking to take online via an app.
Located not far from Mascot station, this Cafe offers a large variety of breakfast and lunch meals. From the classic Cafe menu, indulgent sweet treat to ready-to-eat hot meals. For the start, the coffee was awesome (from
Gypsy Coffee). Before having the main meals I had some of their healthy sweet treats. Heavenly!
My favourites: the raw snickers and cranberry slice.
Their pulled pork burger was pretty good. The pork was flavoursome and given generously.
My favourite dish during this visit: Southern fried chicken burger. The house spice rub chicken fillet was crispy on the outside and oh-so-tender and juicy on the inside. The slaw and peri peri mayo definitely gave a nice kick.

Great slices I recommend the Snickers & Coconut with cranberry!
The Burgers are delicious too and I loved the Pulled Pork with a little spice! Definitely good for breakfast or lunch for nearby workers with the rotating hot food section you wont be bored.

I’m a regular customer here. I get my morning and afternoon coffee here every day. Good coffee, great bacon & egg rolls and toasted ham & cheese croissants! Good breakfast combo deals. Friendly service. The owners are always very welcoming and Stephanie who makes my coffee is very friendly and accommodating.
