Ordered take away iced coffee & mocha, they were made prompt & tasted delicious.
The customer before us was quite difficult & I was impressed in the way the girl at the counter continued to give service with a smile.
The interior & exterior of this place is amazing!
Been here numerous times...what I like about Dome is that you always know what you are getting. It is staple food that is general quite healthy and reliable quality. Tandoori chicken salad and the ham/egg hollandaise have become my regular picks.
I can only base this review on an afternoon at Dome with friends. I wasn't too keen on their suggested meeting place and was pleasantly surprised at the lovely old building.
My experience of Dome coffees over many years (except when when the franchises first started in Perth) has been one of disappointment; today it was excellent . I would not hesitate to have a coffee there again. Nothing else on display or on the menu was enticing.

Cozy & quiet. Honestly Dome has the similar concept everywhere but Dome Maylands gives me a classic feeling given the look of the whole duplex. A bit isolated from the noise of Beaufort st cafe strip, this is a good place to sit and chill at the end of the day. The iced coffee twister series are amazing, tasty and come in generous portion.. Cakes are nice too, thick and fresh.
Pleased Overall!. My husband and I are holidaying from the US and this was the first place we went to. Verdict = this place is great! They have done a good job with the decor. They certainly do nostalgia very well.
We opted for share-style food from the menu, which reminded me a bit of American carnival food. The chicken was crispy and tender and puts KFC to shame. The pork was deliciously juicy and the vegies made me fall in love. Admittedly, I had never eaten a vegetable before, but I am so glad I got to try the one's here: so yummy! The food here is excellent and it looks as though they are well-equipped with decent drinks too. The service is very efficient.
The only complain I would make through out the whole expereince was the richness of the Fluffy Koala drink. It was just too rich with too much cream and it gave me diarrhea for the next few hours.
I visit Dome Maylands regularly and the food and service is always outstanding.
Great place for a hot chocolate on a day like today. Unfortunately it is SO noisy here - there's a kids birthday party here, so lots of screaming babies/kids. Enough noise to sour the milk of my delish hot choc!
Pleasant enough, but unfortunate location on the other side of the tracks from the main 8th Avenue strip. I'll always pop in for an iced coffee if we cross over on our way to Inglewood though. One piece of advice: buy a better quality of straws for your frappes (the last time I bought a berry frappe, the 'scoop' at the end broke into sharp little bits of plastic at the bottom and I wasn't aware of it until my daughter spat a piece out).
Best Dome in Perth! Staff here are incredibly friendly and food is bought out pronto.
AAA Breakfast. Order a lightly toasted chicken wrap which to my surprise was good. It's not actually a breakfast item but that is what I like about Dome. You can order any item on the menu, no matter what time of day it is. I visit Dome Maylands once a month after my lessons and like all cafes or restaurants, they can't please everyone. But majority of the time, the staff are friendly, the food is good and the price suits my budget. If you are looking for a reasonable price meal and good coffee, I recommend you pop down.
Home away from home. Been visiting Dome at Maylands a couple of times since my company transfer from Hong Kong 5 months ago. I must say my wife and I are blown away by the warmth and friendliness of the staff. We enjoy the ambience and the fantastic location where the cafe sits. Their Egg Holandaise with bacon and toast reminds me of what my late grandma used to cook on Sundays for me!
The eggs benedict is done to perfection and the bacon is crispy and succulent. Best enjoyed with wonderfully cup of latte. Wifey and I are definitely going to make this a place for our weekly "Date Breakfast". Great opportunity to be together and away from our busy schedule. Their manager, Jennifer, is funny and she makes you feel like you're chilling in a living room. Thanks team Dome Maylands for making my move to Perth that much comfortable!
Lovely Breakfast. My GF and I come here every Sat for breakfast and everything is always spot on. Amazing coffee from Leslie. Food is always served to us within reasonable time. And the morning staff are friendly, no matter how busy they are. Jasmin and her morning team rocks!
Favorite weekend breakfast place.consistently great food and coffee.if a problem ever encountered staff are friendly and always happy to resolve. Favorite breakfast wrap minus hp sauce (eew) eggs Benedict or florentine.
Better than other Domes. My girlfriend and I went down yesterday for lunch. Vegetarian wrap is the best I had in any Dome. There was no hassle with changing mushrooms with bacon at no cost to me (unlike other Domes) with my big breakfast. And even though there was a group of mothers with their babies, they were tuck away in another room. Great atmosphere.
Nice place. I've had the full breakfast a number of times. The service each time has been friendly and very quick. The breakfast was very tasty indeed - Bacon, Eggs cooked the way you want it, Chippolatas, Mushrooms, Toast, Hash Brown. Not too expensive either. Highly recommended.
Love this great local coffee franchise. Their shop decorations are beautiful done, and they provide a retro vibe. The coffee quality’s consistently alright 😎 in addition to their designated parking space, they have plenty of street parking free for a couple of hours. Toilets avlb - we need to ask for an access though.
This is a big Dome Cafe! And such a nice building. Not heaps of parking, but the train is literally outside and across the road.
Staff are really friendly, food is great 😊
Best of all the Domes. Lovely older building with large outside dining area - Covid-friendly.

Love this place. Great service from all the staff, and I’ve never had an issue with the food or drink. My latest favourite thing to get are some warm scones with jam and cream with a tea or coffee and sit outside and just enjoy the fresh air. Can’t wait to come back again.
My wife and I like the Dome. The menu is pretty stationary but always tasty. We don't much like the coffee, but that's down to our taste. Service is always good and efficient. We're long-term converts. 😁
Great coffee, omg fantastic building but going to the toilet was bizarre. You have to ask to be buzzed through then you walk out the front, through a door, down a corridor then outside into 1 ladies toilet. Glad it wasn't raining. Needs to be addressed I think!

Great cafe in the old historic building just opposite maylands train station. They have a large inside area and also a decent sized outdoor area both undercover and open. Sometimes hard to find a parking spot but is also carpark next door for the pub.
Very nice breaky. The kitcken service was great, we said that we wanted to share a dish and they split it. The portions were generous and tasty. We asked for gluten free bread and it was better than most gluten free breads. We also got coffee: a perfect lactose free flat white and also a perfect almond milk mocha (very chocolatey, just how I like it). The salt shakers need to be improved. Excellent breakfast experience, I totally recommend it.
