Aidan "Avvinash" Louis
+5
Oh my my GOODNESS! I Aidan Avvinash Louis simply cannot find the words to describe your lovely chicken tikka masala. As I was reading the local Mumbai news with my friend Rajesh, I was punched in the face by a familiar taste, the taste of my great great GREAT grandmother's recipe, it melted in my mouth as I wiped the curry infused sweat off my face. I looked straight to Rajesh, and tears of joy drove down my face as every bite filled me with goodness, it was almost as good as my Father's beef vindaloo! 5/5 for this restaurant.
This is the only place in Perth which makes awesome Amritsari Naan. Feels like we are eating in India. Nice sweet selection and very well priced.
Best Paratha's in Town. Keep it up guys ð
We love going to this restaurant for amritsari kulchas and cholle bhature. Taste is very authentic at reasonable price. Staff is also very good. Keep up the good work
Hearty Punjabi n Indian food!
It's a tiny restaurant tucked away 5mins from Maylands train station but the all weekend chat specials are one of my favourites. It's freshly made and price ranges from $5 (aloo pronthe - yum) to around $12 for the chaats.
Following our meals, we always finish off with masala chai n sweets (which are made fresh - one of the best I've had in Perth).
I am Indian myself and take it from me this place is a must visit for authentic Indian food. I have introduced it to lots of my friends n they have loved it too.
Took 1/2 star off coz it gets a little hot in there so maybe they need to replace their aircon.
Tried here after its reopening. And it was absolutely delicious for the price you pay. We had the Bhindi Masala which was fresh, tasty and not overly oily. Absolutely delicious. Also had the Kofta which was tasty too (sauce was a little runny for my liking). So glad this local joint has reopened after struggling to find a decent curry place nearby.
Great indian food fish masala, dhal tadaka, butter chicken, lamb rogan josh were great, flavour is awesome better than a lot of indian restaurants i have tried in perth. I have ordered delivery as well, always on time, food arrives warm great service
Wow, my taste buds are very impressed! This is my new favourite place to get Indian food in Perth. We ordered the Butter Chicken, Lamb Rogan Josh, Chicken Tikka and Goat Biryani. The meat was very tender and the curry sauces were deliciously flavoursome! The Rogan Josh had a lovely kick to it too! Looking forward to trying some of the other curries!
Very happy with the new restaurant! The amritsari kulcha chana and chane bature are exactly like how they taste in India! The well balanced chaat, meat tasting platter (great tasting fish in the fish fry) Â and mango lassi (not too sweet like some places) were nice too. Every dish was well prepared and reasonably priced, here's hoping they maintain that consistency and don't let standards drop like other indian restaurants after some time of opening!
Punjab has just opened, and we have tried them twice now, and both times the meals have been flavourful and delivered piping hot. Â Dish 19, the smoked eggplant is terrific, and something different from the plain vege options available at other Indian takeouts in the area, ditto for dish 26 (Chicken Chettinad) for chicken curry lovers. The Free delivery, Â complimentary traditional mints and papadums are great and considering the other options in the area, we have truly found our new Indian takeaway. The Indian sweets look amazing, and I will be sure the try them out soon, they might be all that is required to give them a 5 star rating. Â A welcome new addition to Maylands.
