On a quiet night virtually had the restaurant to ourselves with two other friends. Service a bit slow but food was tasty and generous serves.
When we arrived here the other day my expectations were not great. There were a lot of things crossed of the menu which didn’t give a great impression. We ordered the mixed grill with rice and chicken meat bowl. I ordered the lemon and mint juice. The food took a while to come out but it was absolutely delicious!! Everything was really fresh and well presented. The meats were lovely, the salad was fresh and zesty and the dips were amazing. The juice was blended with ice and was delicious and so refreshing. To top it off, it was really good value. Only about $46 for the whole lot. This turned out to be a really lovely lunch!!
This place is the best middle eastern food above all else ive tried in Perth so far. It's very authentic and their dips are amazing! The price is right and i think you'd be hard pressed to find such a meal anywhere else. It's a really relaxed place to go to for a cafe style setting to have a nice meal.
I absolutely love the food from this place
Their tabouli and hummus is world class
The subtle charcoal flavour all their cooked meats posses is delicious
We love this restaurant and can’t wait to come back
I only recently discovered this place while i was searching for a good shisha place in Perth. A pleasant surprise when you enter the back yard. The experience, ambiance, great shisha (i mean who decorates coal like that (picture) 😀) and then fifa 18 match on top. What an experience... beautiful warm place in winter. Coffee a 3, needs more practice, but a place worth visiting if you're looking for a nice evening out with friends
Great hidden set up, has a nice seating area at front, then a nice garden walkway to the back of a larger seating area. Good stop for coffee and shisha, fresh juice is delicious but not always available, which is a downfall. Yet to try any food, maybe after the renovations. Still a must stop by when in the area.
Lovely dessert, pecan pie, delicious cheesecake and coffee. Didn't realise how big the place was.Lovely garden restaurant at the back. Intend to return for lunch or dinner soon.
Quaint café on a busy strip. Not to be compared with the sophisticated Mrs S or the hipster joint across the street, what you get here are giant baked muffins and the most brilliant Turkish bread allegedly baked in the wood fire oven out back.
Went in for a quick coffee and muffin for $6.50. Decent coffee, lovely white chocolate muffin although a bit burnt underneath. Nice selection of cakes. The lady behind the desk was lovely :) Like the look of the place to go for shisha! Only downer the toilets are a bit of a state, toilet paper everywhere, overflowing bin and not a nice surprise left in one of the toilets 😬
Had a quick lunch with hubby here today, we shared a main meal and it was amazing. Staff were friendly, a little issue with pay pass but went through with using chip reader on eftpos machine.
Seems they are going through a renoavtion out the back and toilets are both port-a-loo's but were very clean and nice smelling inside.
Will definitely be back again.
I very rarely write reviews but wowzas we had a good meal here tonight!
The lemon mint drink was an experience in itself and I think I may still be on a sugar high, boy oh boy wowee!
Anyway the food was excellent, particularly the mansef and chicken with hummus. Salad was massive and a heap of bread with the dips which is the way it should be. None of this 2-3 pieces rubbish.
Service really good, food came and no food or beverages were spilt - top effort

We really enjoyed our time here. The decor basic, the set up basic but the food amazing! We ordered the smoked salmon brushetta for entree, mixed grill for mains. Big meals, very presentable, delicious. You won't be disappointed.
Nice food, will be back........ We live locally and thought we would try the new lebanese cafe in the neighbourhood for dinner. Interesting that it is not licensed and not BYO either, so no alcohol is allowed.................which didn't bother us, but might bother some people having a meal out on a Friday night.
The service was friendly enough, but she could have been more forthcoming with what drinks were available. The waitress told us they had soft drinks and fresh juices. We weren't shown a drinks menu, so we just ordered a coke, but we later saw another table receive a delicious looking green slushie drink , which turned out to be a lemon and mint drink - a little disappointed because we would have ordered that if we had been told about it. But then at $8.50 for a juice, maybe not! The food was tasty, well presented and we enjoyed the mixed grill plate, sambousik and falafel between the two of us. The baklava was just OK, nothing special. For a spend of around $50, both of us left full, and will probably go back to try other meals on the menu.
Try it, worth the time.. We were planning on Rifo's but noticed another cafe restaurant popped up where the Art Gallery Cafe used to be, thought we would give it a go and were very happy we did. The shishkebabs were delicious, especially the chicken one - the grill gives it a lovely flavour. Also had Chicken Mansaf, this was nice with plenty of nuts, not overly spiced but I didnt want spicy so that was a good choice. We tried a Lemon and Mint juice, which worked really well with the meal. A nice selection of juices but didnt try the coffee. If they have Toby's Estate as the umbrellas depicted, then I would be happy with that. Its a good bean. Will be going back to try other dishes. And the wait staff Wednesday night were great, nice job girls.
There is something about finding little gems in the 'burbs. Recently over dinner we were talking about those places you almost want to keep a secret for fear of the masses taking away the ease to grab a table at your favourite haunt. Rotana on Eighth Avenue in Maylands is going to be one of those places.
You won't be disappointed!. My family and I finally came to Rotana for a meal after saying for the last few months "we must go there!"
We were not disappointed! The food was so delicious!!! We got some hot starters to share, and the flavours were amazing... highly recommend the Samobousik. For mains my husband, mum and I each got the mixed grill plates. Everything was really well cooked and so full of flavour. My dad got the whole snapper and loved it.
Prices were really great for the amount of food we received. The service was really good too: attentive waitresses, and we didn't have to wait long for our meals at all!
The four of us left the restaurant feeling super full and more than happy with our meals. We'll definitely be back soon! :)
Good breakfast and coffees. Tried the Big Breakfast with a flat white and was quite pleased with the addition to the selection of good breakfast options in the area. The waitperson was polite and the food was well-presented, delicious and great value by Perth standards. Will definitely visit again.
Great little find in the heart of Maylands. Just popped in for lunch with no real expectations but was blown away by the brilliantly presented and delicious food that we were served - I wish I had taken a photo but was too busy eating. Given the portion sizes, quality of produce, and the care and skill in cooking the dishes the bill was a lot less than I had expected.I will definitely be going back! Highly recommended from someone who is more often than not disappointed by Perth cafes and restaurants.

Went here for dinner with friends - we had a tasting plate which was really delicious and lots of food. Then returned today again for breakfast - Eggs Benedict was great. The coffee is strong and smooth. Great friendly service. good prices. Recommend
Great food. Excellent Lebanese cuisine. Can recommend the kibeh and the cauliflower. Friendly service.
Breakfast Guys. Good Work. Great place to be for breakfast.
Rotana is very generous with the portion of their food. This is our second time here and we enjoy the food with all its flavours. Service is excellent and great place to gather for celebration. Can't wait to come back
Dropped into Rotana Garden Cafe on eighth for a quick coffee.
The venue has some great interior design features, I was quite impressed with the service, quick and easy and the Coffee was served hot and exactly what i wanted.
Thanks RGC

Good place 😊 very good service staff was cooperative and the ambiance is great
Highly recommend Rotana garden cafe the food is exceptional and the peach milkshake is next level amazing. Staff are amazing. We sat in the front garden and it was such a gorgeous setting. Do yourself a favour and check this place out!! Pictured is the mix kebab plate with chips.
I didnt know they have a hideout for shisha at the back. There were several people chilling there so i didnt click photos but it looks great place to chill out. They also have an aircon area right next to the cashier. I like their long macchiato as well.
