Visited Maxwell Wines recently and was greeted warmly. It is a beautiful cellar door overlooking the winery, was mid vintage so saw the open fermentation tanks full of pressed grapes. Lovely spot, nice modern decor, great service and friendly and professional staff. You can not ask for a better combinations if good stuff. We were there for wine tasting and it was a great experience. Looking forward to try the food at the restaurant for the next time.
I had the degustation on a Sunday afternoon, the dining room has beautiful windows overlooking the vineyard. I was impressed with all the dishes, my favourites were the chicken, doughnut and the desserts. The desserts were light, fresh and an excellent end to a delectable lunch. It was very refined
This is a stand out destination dining experience. Locally inspired fine dining dishes served by the most perfect waiting staff - knowledgeable and clearly proud of their product, perfectly balancing warmth with professionalism. Friendly but unobtrusive service, beautifully appointed dining rooms.
