We ordered biryani from here today. Well cooked and a good number of pieces and the chicken was cooked well too. Quantity was more than enough for 2 ppl to share. We also ordered the chicken 65 which was made well and the raitha was rich and tasty.

I ordered a pot of Chicken Biryani for Christmas Day Dinner. The Biryani was Delicious. Staff very courteous. Azeem was great. Will be definitely ordering from here again. All the guests enjoyed the Biryani as well

The biriyani is adequately spiced yet so flavourful and rice tastes really nice. Really enjoyed the food. Service is a bit slow because they're busy with take away orders. Reasonably priced menu. Highly recommended.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Dandenong.The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing and delicious – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Undoubtedly the best meal we had in a while Highly recommend!

Definitely not as good as the reviews say this place is. I ordered a chicken family pack for lunch and I don't know where to start. The biriyani was tasteless and it seemed just like some saffron rice mixed with white rice. The chicken was very dry and seemed old. Their chicken 65 was pretty good although they only gave a few small pieces for the apparent serving of 5 people. The raithi was runny and tasteless. I tried this place for the first time and I would not go there again. Not worth the $55 I spent.
Response to owner: I am a foodie and I have eaten dum biriyani at many Indian restaurants across Victoria and so I definitely do know what an authentic dum biriyani should taste like, and it was not like the one I had today. I'd have to say this restaurant is on the lower end of the scale. If you need recommendations on restaurants where authentic dum biriyani is made please reach out. I do'n't really mind if it was first or last from the pot and I did not mind waiting the 15min, it should have not been dry and tasteless. As for your statement that the chicken 65 was complementary, that is false as your menu said that the pack included the chicken 65, so I'm not too sure where you are going with that.

We ordered food from this place and was delivered nearly 2 hours later. The shahi paneer was some leftover ready to eat mutter paneer curry just made more watery. The gobhi 65 had only oil, maida and red color. This is the worst Indian food we have had in the past decade by far. I went to bed only praying that I shouldn't fall severely ill the next morning! Never order from this place. And please shut this restaurant so that people don't start hating Indian food.

We ordered Indo-Chinese fried rice, chilli chicken and chicken noodles. I would say this is the worst food I have ever had in Melbourne. I can clearly see that it was made by an inexperienced chef who had never actually tasted an indo Chinese food. My request is , if you can’t make something decent, please don’t put it on the menu.

We did a takeaway of mutton biryani for 5 people. The biryani was very tasty, not filled with chillies, no extra spices which are not required. The meat was succulent Nd well marinated and the entire meal came together with the rice and spices. Will try again just to make sure it was not a one time wonder.

I have tried many restaurant in city and was disappointed overtime i was just served coloured rice in the name of "Biryani" no one in city was able to give the proper Hyderbadadi cousin. Until i come across this restaurant so called as "Hyderbad Darbar". Ordered Chicken 65 for starters, biryani for main course and Qurbani ka meetha for desert I was shocked for taste and quick service, i felt like eating back in home town after ages.finally found a restaurant which can server real and authentic hyderbadi food. You have to give a try for sure you if you wan try the real Biryani i hope you wouldn't be disappointed.

Hyderabad biryani is good but we felt different taste when we ordered on weekdays. I would recommend to try it on Weekends but on Weekdays. Never ever order Gobi65 or Chicken65

Great authentic food, especially the Haleem and Biryani. Will certainly be back soon to try more of the menu. Was a bit hesitant visiting this place based on the rating and reviews here, was confused when I couldn’t find ‘biryani house’, turns out this restaurant is now called Hyderabad Darbar. The past negative reviews don’t reflect the current food and service we found in our visit.

The worst food ever. Ordered chilly chicken in gravy - not even chicken in the curry ?? Unsure what meat was used. Also ordered chicken harayali... oily pieces of unedible chicken in green water. Disgusting. I don't even know how the chef can call this food and serve it

The worst and filthiest food I have ever had in my whole life. Biryani house claims to cook authentic halal and hyderabadi food which is far from truth. I have come to know from reliable sources that there food is not halal at all. I today had a takeaway biryani and What i found in the biryani was stale shit like meat pieces with awful smell which even a dog can not stand for a second and can cause people to get unconscious if they smell. Biryani house is run by filthy scums and i appeal to concerned authorities to run a random inspection of this dirty and dodgy food business and immediately seal the place . My advise to all is never ever risk losing your eeman, health and money by visiting this dirty place. Beware !!!!!

Worst food ever. It is like a nightmare. We did made a mistake I do agree. I'm never ever going there. But anyways. We ordered Paneer which was mixed in the cheap tamatoe paste. The chicken had no taste. And the wort thing was service. I'm not sure how can they afford to be in business. My honest advice never ever go there. <br/><br/>The classic after having that food my friend got sick. And he's off for a week do you to food poisoning.

Horrible food and service.. A non-biased review from a customer that has experienced Indian food in Dandenong, and sought to find a new exciting experience. EVERY potential customer who wishes to eat here must read this before they do. <br/>Firstly, the food took 35 minutes to come out which is very much unacceptable as their competitors can produce their dishes a heap quicker. With this wait I was then expecting something exceptional but clearly not - their apparent 'naan's' are evidently frozen that are reheated and covered in oil to make it appear fresh but they are completely stale and horrible to eat, again nothing like it's competitors that produce fresh, crispy authentic naan's. Furthermore, their curries are extremely disappointing as it's very diluted with water and their meat pieces especially in their Hydrabad Goat Biriyani were SHOCKING, not one edible meat piece (for example, one piece was just a bone joint).

Being a Hyderabadi, i've never had such a terrible food from a place which boasts about HYD cousine.<br/>i gave heaps of chances to this place thinking that it might get better. BUT, it worsens every time.<br/>plz don't waste your money. If u already did, what they serve here is not even close to HYD cousine. plz don't form an opinion.
