We went for the limited time lobster burgers, make sure you don’t miss out! We waited around 20-30 mins or so to be seated which was expected on a Friday night. Friendly staff! We waited ~10-20 mins for the burgers which wasn’t too bad because they came to apologise for the wait. Love the courtesy!
The lobster burgers, YUM. Soft brioche buns, lobster was well marinated and not too creamy! The onion rings are also to die for, I wanted to order more; sauce choices were also VERY tasty. The concretes: Peanut butter brittle was soooo good, loved the crunchy bits! Chocolate hazelnut donut wasn’t too sweet but definitely preferred the pb brittle instead!

If you love greasy burgers then this is your place. Ordered the double beef and it didn’t disappoint! Don’t think the meat is of the highest quality and the patties were small so would recommend a double always for a normal sized burger. Staff were friendly too
Got heaps of love for the Betty's double. Great tasting patty, fresh veg and beautiful buns. Finished off with a Krispy Kreme Concrete. My absolute favourite that has me craving for more.

This place is always crowded during lunchtime. I love the Betty’s special sauce. I like the classic Betty’s burger, it’s very tasty. Still have yet to try their mushroom burger.

Ordered the classic burger with Angus beef, lettuce, tomato, cheese and their special sauce. It was a decent sized burger and very filling. The Angus beef Patty was juicy and thick too. I enjoyed it.
Ordered delivery for a group of about 15 people, overall enjoyed by all. Loved the range of options on the menu, naked burger for those on restricted diets, mushroom burger and salad for veg/vegans. I personally had the classic stack with the beef patty and crumbed mushroom, portion was huge for me but everyone else finished their burgers. The mushroom was perfect! Cheesy mix inside with juicy mushrooms, crumbed and crispy on the outside, I am happy to forgo the beef patty next time. Onion rings were smashed instantly and savoured by all, perfect thickness, light and crispy batter. Only downside to our order was that the 15 or so burgers came all unlabelled with no indicators to what they were! By the time we had matched each burger back to the menu to ensure the vegetarians didn’t get any meat ones, they had gone a bit cold...
Shared a meal here with a friend. The fried chicken burger was great while the beef burger felt slightly greasy. The chips were average (pale, leathery, but adequately salted) but the chocolate pretzel concrete was really tasty.

It was the perfect day for burgers but I was on two minds whether I wanted to wait in that line. We were told that we’d have to wait for about 15 minutes, so I didn’t mind. Surprisingly we got a table within 10 minutes so that was great.
They have a huge list of burger options to choose from but I decided to order the Berry’s classic because I love my beef way too much. For me, a burger is not a burger if it doesn’t have a beef patty🙊
The Betty’s Classic consisted of a grain-fed Angus patty that was well-seasoned, juicy and charred to perfection, on a soft sweetish bun with lettuce, tomato, onion and cheese, oozing with the tangy special sauce.
The fries on the side could have been a little less skinny and less salty but on the whole great meal.
It’s one hell of a messy affair but worth it for sure!!
My mom and I both ordered the Classic Stack and fries. I came in here famished. We only waited for a few minutes before we were seated. I have a huge appetite esp when I’m starving but it was quite a feat for me to finish the Classic Stack. I fell into a food coma after finishing mine 😆. I find their fries quite salty so I didn’t bother to finish it. Next time I’ll have it with much less salt.
Thoroughly enjoyed my burger. Love the restaurant and the ambience. The meal was great value for money. Chairs are a tad uncomfortable though.
Wow. Wasn’t expecting such a good burger. Good amount of sauce yet not soggy. The fries was crunchy and not salty. Onion rings was ok. Will definitely be back. And did I mention good value for the money.

The ambience is really retro and funky. It's a really cute diner with options of high and low chairs with some table beside the window. The high chairs can be bit uncomfortable though. Ordering was quick and staffs were pretty friendly. Food took some time but the wait time was reasonable. You got a beeper to notify you when it's done.
I got the Betty's classic and it's pretty good! The bun is just the right sweet n savory, moist and crispy, patty was nice but bit crispy on the outside and the vegs were definitely fresh! However I find the burger too salty overall so it wasn't as enjoyable. I'm suspecting the sauce and cheese combination as the culprit. The fries was perfectly salty, it's not thin nor thick, just right amount of crispy and moist. my friends both had the shroom burger, had a bite and I think it's really good! The texture of the fried mushrooms was yum and it wasn't as salty as mine. A lot of people actually recommend that one.
Overall a pretty great burger joint.

Great place to grab a quick bite. The burgers are tasty and ambiance is great. If you want to take someone on date and not make it too formal i would definitely recommend this place.

Finally got the chance to visit this place ever since we landed in Melbourne. The mister and I were craving something very American and decided on burgers. Betty's burger is located on Elizabeth street in the very busy CBD. We arrived at about 5.30pm on Friday and there already seemed to be line waiting to order and be served. If waiting if not your thing, be prepared as this would probably be the case on weekends as well.
We ordered the Pork Belly burger, Betty's deluxe burger and fries with a garlic mayo dip. The Pork Belly was delicious! Two succulent slices of well cooked pork and some Asian flavours as well. If you prefer food which is on the sweeter end, you might like this burger. The Deluxe burger was even better. The beef was well cooked and flavourful alongside some crispy bacon strips and cheese. The filling and taste in the burgers is worth the price. The burgers can get a bit messy to eat though. Fries paired well with the garlic mayo.
For dessert we ordered the Hot Fudge Doughnut concrete. Oh my, this was delicious. Bits of doughnut soaking up the fudge and custard along with a hazelnut crumble. Perfect to share. Would definitely experiment with some different flavours next time.
The staff is friendly, service is prompt, ambience is very 'your American diner' like. All in all, a lovely dinner!
This place is the bomb. The mushroom burger wins my award for best burger in Melbourne. And I love a good burger. Everything else is a bit overpriced but this place gets a 5/5 on the merit of its mushie burgers alone 🤤

One of the best places for burgers in Melbourne. The beef burgers here are incredible. The pattys were seasoned really well and the flavor of the beef speaks for itself. The buns were well toasted too.
The onion rings are a good option for sides. The batter was nice and crispy and wasn't too greasy.
Fantastic burgers, great sizes (not too small, not too large), reasonable pricing. There is a line usually but it moves pretty fast, which is great. The serving time is also quick!
Sometimes the need for something a little less healthy kicks in, and the need for a juicy burger just can't be denied. Betty Burgers in the CBD is one of the best burger joints in town. Sure, it's fast food, but it's fast food done well. The pastel decor is cute, and there is plenty of room, but be prepared to queue at prime meal times, especially on the weekend.
The burgers are fresh and juicy, with perfectly soft buns. There is a great choice of burgers, and I'm actually a fan of the vegie option... even though I sneak a bite of hubby's meaty version. There is a good amount of salad too... you have to get those vegies in!! The fries are amazing... crispy and salty, and totally addictive.
Service is quick and efficient, but still friendly. They are prompt at cleaning tables so you don't have to wait long to get one, and the food is ready promptly too. A step up from your chain burger joints, Betty Burgers is a great place to stop for a quick lunch in the city.

We came into Betty’s Burgers to satisfy our burger cravings and were lucky enough to avoid the long queue when we arrived.
We ordered three Betty’s Classic burgers ($10) , as well as a serving of French Fries ($5)and Onion Rings ($6). As for dessert, we sampled the Peanut Butter Brittle and the Lemon Raspberry Cheesecake concretes ($8). The waiting for the burgers took longer than expected, and the concretes arrived later still (we ordered it to come with the meal). However, this didn’t affect the enjoyment of our meal.
The Classic burger was constructed with a beef patty, lettuce, tomato, cheese, onions and their special sauce. The bun was soft but crispy on the underside, and was also slightly sweet. The patty was thinner than expected, but it was filling nonetheless. Out of the sides that we ordered, I personally liked the French Fries the best. The Onion Rings were something I looked forward to, but I was left quite disappointed. Further, the serving size wasn’t worth the price. French fries were good though!
Finally, the concrete- I’ve been wanting to try this for a while. The Lemon Raspberry Cheesecake concrete proved to be a good choice for me, because the citrus-y and acidic taste helped to balance out the taste of the burger and sides in my mouth. There were quite a few chunks of cheesecake in there, as well as a few raspberries. Overall, it was refreshing to eat, but the size was much smaller than I had expected for the price of $8. My friend ordered the Peanut Butter Brittle, which she found to be too sweet after a while.
The service was very friendly and attentive, and the interior was bright and cheerful, with overhanging pot plants and loud music. It’s a great place to hang out with friends, so the next time I’m craving burgers and I’m in the area, I’ll still come back.
Betty's Burgers is a wild and funky restaurant located in Elizabeth Street in Melbourne. They have these really thick, thick shakes and I really like their onion rings. It reminds me a bit, as if I was in America.
Yummy burgers and chips. At pretty decent prices. Definitely one of my fave burger joints in the CBD, although I usually takeaway as the restaurant is cramped and queues can be pretty long.
If you've tried In & Out burgers then I'd say that this is as close as it gets, picture perfect for the Gram and tastes just like it looks. Damn fine. Me and a friend came her for lunch and got sat at the window (good for people watching). We ordered the original Betty's Classic with a side of fries and the Peanut Butter & Chocolate Thickshake. All of it delicious, staff were kind and accommodating, only problem is they charged me for sauce I never asked for but would recommend for anyone looking to get a burger fix!
It is so nice to have somewhere near the theatre that you can just pop in and get a great meal. We loved the burgers and I had the bare Betty which was sensational - great idea and saved me having to ask for a burger without bread.

Just had burgers and onion rings and concrete. There’s a line on Friday night but it moves quickly. Also the customer service is excellent, especially Eliza’s happy attitude which brought sunshine to a gloomy Melbourne day.

Food
- Betty's classic, as the name suggested, very basic and simple. The veg tasted nice and fresh, the patty was a little on the well done side but because of that it has very crispy texture on the outside, the sauce was creamy but a little mild and there's no real wow factor there. I like it overall for the simple combination and simple taste. I wouldn't say it's the best basic burger though.
- Betty's deluxe was good as well but my friend thought the bacon was overly salty and wasn't that crispy. The bun on both burgers was nicely toasted on the inside but the outside was a little too soft for our liking.
- The french fries was really good, nice and crispy, reasonable portion.
- The chocolate shake was quite thick but it's super cold so I don't mind it, and it wasn't as sweet as I expected which is a plus.
Price: I think the price is really reasonable for the burgers. It's usually the extra, like chips and drinks that may add up quite a bit but overall very good for the food/service/ambience quality.
Service: super nice staff, greeted us and offered to go through the menu but we said we've been here before, he was still keen to give us a brief intro. Honestly, even when the burgers are just so-so, I'll totally come back for the service here because the staff are so friendly.
Ambience: quite a big restaurant but always seems busy, deco is super cute, sitting area is not that cramped. It actually feels like a good place to hangout and talk, not just eat and go.
Usually eat here once a month. The burgers are good, but the service could be better. Also buzzers need to be charged or replaced.
I highly recommend the classic stack. The combination of the beef, mushroom, and burst of cheese is divine.

You to had so many burgers with ice berg lettuce, but here I got with Boston leaves nice twist.
Juicy patty and crispy flaky chicken. Good to try for a break trough from your regular diet.

We had our first meal in Australia after 20 hours flying at the Collins St Betty's Burgers and we are enthusiastic! The decor was unique with the beach chairs and ferns hanging from the ceiling: very relaxing. We ordered the deluxe burger, crispy chicken burger, fries and an almond concrete and were really happy with our choices. I usually don't like a soft bun, but this one absorbed the juices and added to the flavor. The staff took good care of us.
I tried crispy chicken supreme and it was mindblowing 👏🏼 the chicken fillet inside was so crispy and tender. The bacon was quite crispy but kinda hard to chew. Cheese was not melted completely but overall it was great.
I have been here a few times now and every time the customer service has been exceptional and the food has been amazing. Betty's has very quickly become a fav go to for me and my friends. Shout to to the Eve or Eva cannot remember her name. She was the waitress the first time I went it was such a great experience.

Literally my favourite burger place ever! My go-to is the Crispy Chicken burger & the caramel thickshake. The atmosphere is really cute and the staff always look like they’re having a good time!
The price is not bad at all! Roughly $20 for a burger, a drink, and fries (if you split it with a friend 😉). I’m due for another visit!

Ripper burgs. Dropped in for a couple of sneaky buns before the footy. Would definitely give it a holla again. Didnt have the shakes as we were already smashing froffies. Prices good for something in the city maybe a tad high.

Would nearly be the best up with chew and yo my goodness but the fries were very basic. Nothing special. No flavour in them at all. Needed a sauce to make them tasty.

The shroom burger was aaaaaahhhhhmazing. One of the best burgers I’ve had including all the meat ones. The set up is a bit strange, you have to wait to be seated but then you order and pick up your food yourself but then you have to ask a waiter for tap water. It was all just a bit confusing.
If you're seeking a good and greasy, American style veg burger, Betty's is the place to go. Their mushroom burger isn't the sad portabella variation you've had at other restaurants. Rather than simply sticking a rubbery mushroom on some bread, Betty's stuffs the mushroom with cheese, crumbs and fries it for utter perfection. Not a light meal in the slightest, but a truly delicious one. Get ready for their second CBD location, coming soon.

This was a place for a birthday treat. It's usually a crowded spot and has a small wait. However the crowd is well managed by the staff and there's no hassle.

The Betty deluxe is packed with a succulent beef patty topped with American cheese and crispy, yet chewy bacon. The crispy chicken too was very well made witha surprising crispy, yet thin coating. I love their burger! Betty’s always have a super long line during lunch rush hour. I always come outside the rush hour to avoid the crowd. I love their buns that is sweet and soft. The beef patty is also super tasty. The best thing on the menu (and on their burgers) is the Betty’s special sauce.

Visited on 16th Dec was craving for a burger and they delivered over and above. Nice Decor, comfortable seating. Super friendly staff they ensure you are comfortable they have buzzing machines but the staff helps you get served on the table. Just enough variety fried mushrooms made the burger so good. Must try place. High five!!!

Really enjoyed this experience! Atmosphere is very nice, and the staff very friendly. It is clearly marked that you must order at the counter (so no confusion). The burgers came quick and looked great. They tasted great, very happy with the chicken as sometimes can be dry or too thick. One of the best burger I’ve had in a while.

Absolutely devoured my burger, would definitely go again with friends and try the others. Highly recommend the succulent, juicy burgers even .matt Preston would be proud of. 100% masterchef material. Even manu would be proud of the special sauce in these crackalakin burgers- but they are by NO means lackin'. I ordered the 'Crispy Chicken' burger, and the chicken was certainly crispy. Chips are substantially yummy, though did not transcend as I do prefer a thicker fry over a french fry to munch on.

I had always wondered what the fuss is all about whenever I came across the serpentine queues in front of this outlet. Thought I will check it out for myself. This is located on a prime location on the Elizabeth street and easy to locate. My name was taken as I was waiting in the queue to order as we had a party of 4. Got the mushroom burger, onion rings and fries. Burger was juicy, delicious and not very messy. No wonder this place is rated so high. Loved the onion rings with mayo. Nice place if you decide to have one of those cheat days!

Usually I am a complete meat eater but not at Betty’s because she does the best mushroom burger in the world.
It is seriously hands down the best, crumbed mushroom, with melted cheese inside.. best creation ever. I have tried the classic Betty? I think it’s called however I couldn’t convince myself that it was better than the mushroom.
My partner preferred the beef patty up until recently, he decided to try the southern fried chicken - in his words “it’s exactly what you’d want fried chicken to taste like”.
Highly recommend, get there early as it can get quite busy however if you get there during peak hour. It is worth the wait :)
I had ordered the Crispy Chicken burger and was not mad. Thoroughly enjoyed it although they could’ve eased up on salting the fries. It was too salty we did not finish - and we had bought 2. My companions enjoyed their burgers as well.

This restaurant has fast become a favourite for my family. The food is really tasty and authentic, and the service is fantastic. My kids love the thick shakes (made with 'custard' base). They are really thorough when catering for allergies too which is a huge bonus for us.

They're one of those rare places that ace every aspect of your dining experience. This place is a must visit when you're in CBD, Melbourne.
Burgers with an amazing balance of flavour. Thickshakes that make you crave them the moment you've had a sip.
This place had an insanely long queue for a Friday lunch slot. The staff right from outside the outlet to the ones taking the orders to the ones serving are possibly the best in terms of customer service.

Crispy Chicken - Delicious battered chicken deep fried and served in a buttered and toaster bun. Drool worthy.
Onion Rings - Slightly Sweet for my liking, that's due to the sweetness in the onions.
Sriracha Mayo - not as spicy as you'd expect it to be. But quite delicious as a dip.
Chocolate Thickshake - BEST THICKSHAKE EVER.
Ambience - Nice dining concept. Comfortable seating and attractive decor.

This place is a winner! The restaurant itself is beautiful... not your average burger restaurant setting at all (fairy lights etc). The girl that took my order was SUPER lovely and the rest of the staff were very kind and smiley also. You order at the counter and then get a buzzer to go and collect your order- great for large groups which is great.
Now onto the food. I ordered the Betty’s Deluxe and it was SO. GOOD. All the ingredients were fresh and complimented each other so well. The special sauce in the burger was really yummy. What I enjoyed most though was how soft the bun was... it was like a cloud 😍. This burger was messy and soggy and absolutely delicious!
Chips were great and the onion rings were too! Not too oily. Although the burger was definitely the star here.

First timer at Betty’s burgers, ordered the Crispy chicken burger which was full of mouth watering goodness!! The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was exciting and the food was amazing! Make sure you are ready to wait for a table for a few minutes at the peak times, as this place gets very busy!!
Betty’s Burger’s burgers are quite good. I ordered the Betty’s Classic, which was juicy and delicious. However it was a bit too big and full-on for me; if that’s your thing, then this place is pretty good value. The fries were full of flavour but a bit too dry, while the onion rings were crunchy and well-fried. My favourite thing here was the Sriracha Mayo dipping sauce - some of the best dipping sauce I’ve had.
The atmosphere was quite busy and warm when I ate here and the service was fantastic. Overall, I would recommend this place if you’re feeling the big burgers.
This was my first time visiting Betty's and I'm in love! I was so excited to find out they have stores in Sydney as well. The burgers were fresh and the chips were perfect! I loved how crispy the chicken was. This place is a must place to check out!

It was a busy Friday and seating was limited but we decided to give Betty’s a go. The staff were friendly and accomodating and seated us on the bench near the register.

1 x Choc Fudge Donut Concrete
The Betty’s Classics were excellent. Nice flavours, soft bun and juicy meat.
The crispy chicken was good too but not the best. I felt the chicken was a bit dry and very salty.
The fries were delicious. Similar to McDonald’s fries but they still had the skin on which have them a rustic feel.
We requested the concretes come out after the meal but they didn’t come until we reminded the staff after a bit of a wait. However they were probably the highlight of the meal. The choc donut one was amazing. You could taste the Krispy Kreme donut in the ice cream along with the chunks in there! The peanut butter one was also nice but the choc donut was the winner.
Overall a nice place with a good atmosphere, friendly staff and good food.
This place is so popular but they manage the crowd well. We didn’t have to wait too long and when our burgers came we weren’t disappointed! So delicious and tender. The fries were super crispy and tasty as well!
Tried the classic + shroom burger, fries and onion rings and was overall very happy with my meal! The fried mushroom part of the burger was packed with mushrooms and flavour which I really enjoyed; the fries were crispy as were the onion rings! I wasn’t a fan of the Betty’s sauce but the sriracha mayo was sooooo good! Also service was super quick and friendly - the staff actually got my order wrong and they ended up giving us some free fries ☺️

This burger joint has got to have the best service I’ve ever received. We are welcomed with a menu at the door and are kindly seated at a comfortable chair, with a nice urban view with a cosy night decor and lighting. The store is bigger than I thought, and so we were able to enjoy our food peacefully.
We ordered the classic stack burger and the pork belly, which I highly recommend. It took me time to decide which burger to get and read reviews, and I’ve got to say, you must get these if you come down here to this store near Flinders Station. The classic stack was JUICY from the oozing mushroom patty and the beef was well seasoned. It didn’t feel too greasy and every bite was addicting. The pork belly burger was surprisingly scrumptious. It had a slight crispy outer fat which I could not resist, which complimented the anonymous sauce which somehow topped this flavour over the regular pork belly baos at asian fusion stores.
Only issue was it was a bit messy and they only gave a few tissues at the start.
Peanut shake was alright. I would recommend get something lighter to break down that burger belly!
Onion rings, was something else with the Betty’s sauce. I will come back to try the other great food!

With so many burger places in Melbourne, you have to be better than average to survive. Betty's burgers did deliver, my family and I were already pre planning to go to 8bit around 5 minutes walk away but their 'quick bite' seating arrangement and fast food ambience was a bit of a put off considering eating a messy burger faced towards randoms judging the way youeat was not ideal for a fathers day dinner. Trailer park was on the other end and been there before so we thought we'd give Betty's a try after being handed a menu whilst passing by. 5pm on a Sunday was not too busy but after seeing their seating arrangement it too was on the casual side but there were tables for 4 available so dine in we did. The menu looked a lot like Laurie Dee's in Epping, possibly the inclusion of 'concretes' but the burgers themselves reminded me a bit like Easeys with the pretty butter lettuce peeking out invitingly, What was ordered were a couple of double doubles, betty's classic and southern fried chicken with bacon, all were positively received judging by 5 minute silence that ensued after taking the first bite. My chicken burger had a somewhat thin-ish fried piece of chicken breast im assuming which was not dry but also not too flavoursome although the cheese and abundance of bacon carried it and made it a delicious burger, the greasy smooth bun was orgasmic, I'm a huge fan of smooth, shiny topped buns sans seasame seeds and I could eat that bun all day. Cokes were rather sweet and lacking effervescence, peanut butter shake was quietly enjoyed. Fries were delicious, skin still on the ends were a crisp moreish accompaniment and pleasant texture change from the velvety cheesy burger. Special mention to the beef patty, husband pointed out mid mouthful the pleasant pink juiciness peeking under the oozing mass of kraft cheese. The 1 toilet for all situation was a bit off putting though, everyone handling the toilet keys is a massive hygiene issue and seeing the line at the rear of the venue made me back up and deal with my greasy bacon fingers until I got home. All up though good burgers and worth the return.
This is my go-to burger place in Melbourne! They serve really good burgers at the reasonable price point, and their service is exceptional (something you don’t expect at a burger joint).

We had visited Betty’s burgers twice - one to try their burgs and the other to try their ice cream! Both visits were pleasant and memorable!
Shroom burger - a big piece of mushroom patty squeezed in with a beef patty, what more could a boy ask for? Both patties were pretty tasty and there was flavor everywhere in my mouth! The amount of cheese used was just right with it not overpowering the whole burger! I would say this was my favorite as it filled me up just right!
Pork belly burger - I had found this concept pretty interesting and pork belly is not commonly used in burgers! The pork belly was soft but a little dry towards the end but was enjoyable overall.
Peanut butter brittle concrete - chocolate custard, peanut brittle, hot fudge sauce with vanilla ice cream! Do I need to say more? You can’t go wrong with this combination for sure! I am not sure about others, but I found the sweetness just right for me (it was not super sweet)!
Honeycomb, orange biscuit crunch - this was actually my favorite! Vanilla custard, honeycomb, almond biscuit, fairy floss, vanilla cream and orange zest! What made this so special was you could taste every flavor stated on their menu! I enjoyed the part where I could taste bits and pieces of the honey comb and orange zest which each bite I had taken! Sweetness level was just right (again it was not super sweet)!
Overall, both Betty’s burgers and concretes were a hit for me as they were on point! Only comment I have is can we make the burgers just a little bigger? 😊

My family and kids came by on a beautiful Tuesday night after I had finished work and the wife had picked up our overly beautiful kids from work. We walked through the doors to be greeted by an overly exotic little gem. She mentioned to us that it would be a little bit of a wait to accomodate for our family. While waiting I felt a sudden urge to purge the seal I had been holding since leaving work earlier. I made my way to the rest room and slipped on a puddle of a mysterious liquid on the floor in the entrance of the rest room. It appear to be the excretion of a fellow patrol of your establishment. I found myself quite enjoying the sight of myself in the mirror covered in this, quite a mysterious feeling to have felt , as I have not felt this in such a long time and dealing with a hard period in my marriage. This is besides the point, I proceeded to finish my business, clean myself and exit. I see my family seated and waiting for me eager to chow down on a big mass of juicy, mouth watering meat. We order and proceed to get our food. Halfway through eating I notice a familiar sight, a familiar mysterious liquid oozing from my burger. Could this be? No surely not. I decided to ignore the fact and enjoy the juicy, mouth watering, toe curling deliciously birthed burger from Betty herself. From this day forward whenever I think of my wife, I will think of this reinvigorating meal. Thank you Betty for repairing my marriage.
I reallllyyyyy like the betty’s classic burger! The bun is crisp enough on the outside and very soft on the inside, and what best is that bun is not hard to chew. Moreover, i ordered the chocolate milkshake aaand it was delicious, it was thick and sweet (nothing’s ever gone wrong with milkshake and burger!). I also ordered the onion rings it was burnt & the manager kindly gave me a new one! Really happy for the service.
Betty burger at CBD. Nice cosy environment with good service and it is so popular during Sunday’s afternoon. We ordered the keto burger with is bun less burger with lettuce leaves. Very nice.
Excellent burgers! We had spicy crispy chicken burger with onion rings and sirracha mayo sauce. Burgers did full justice to its premium price. The place was packed for a Tuesday evening with a line in front of the restaurant. Staff did a great job managing everyone with a smile on their face. Great experience!!

The pork belly burger here is my absolute favourite.
I advise you to come early if planning to come for lunch as the line for this restaurant goes out the door. I went with a group of four and we ordered the pork, chicken (with an extra chicken patty/ bacon on the side) and two mushroom burgers with 1 milkshake and a jelly donut concrete. All were delicious. Out of everything, I would recommend the mushroom burgers.... taste-wise they were better then the meat burgers (but seriously all were tasty). Also the staff were lovely , and very attentive.
Best burgers in town, other than mcdonalds that is. Its burgers has fried mushroom with cheese inside and a beef patty, with a few vegetable of course. To me, Betty taste very similar to shake & shack, and serves as a replacement for it.
I am a big burger fan & Betty’s Burgers definitely lived up to their reputation! The burgers were fresh & delicious, exactly what I was hoping for. The staff were also really friendly & it was a great atmosphere to share a meal with a friend.
Had to wait about 10 minutes due to the queue outside the restaurant however, it was worth the wait. I ordered the Spicy Crispy Chicken burger with French Fries and honestly it has topped off to be one of the best burgers i’ve eaten. Chips were well seasoned and crispy, chicken & bacon were deliciously crunchy. The staff were also very bubbly and generous. Would come again!

Betty's Burgers cheerful interior is a nod to it's Noosa origins and adds a great deal of colour and vibrancy to a usually dead part of Elizabeth Street.
While the Betty's Classic we ordered hit all the right buttons for a good burger, there just wasn't anything which made the burger stand out in what is now an immensely crowded Melbourne burger scene.
The fries we ordered were dry and tasteless to the point where it seemed as if they were old and re-fried... Personally I believe that any burger place worth its salt should also serve up brilliant fries/chips/other potato equivalent and the fries really ruined our experience eating here.

Very good burgers! We went here twice and enjoyed it very much on both times. On the first time, I had the veggie burger with portobello mushroom which was delicious, and on the second time I had a regular burger which was excellent as well. Fries were also very good. We also tried the chocolate milkshake which was yummy. Very good service and good vibe.

I tried Betty's Burgers on the Gold Coast and they really were the best tasting burgers I've ever had. I was so happy to see a shop on Elizabeth Street in Melbourne. The burgers are amazing! The wait to get a table around lunch time is about 20 mins as the line is out the door! It's worth the wait though 😊
Lovely interior and atmosphere, attentive staff, and a great place to pop into for some good “comfort” food after a busy day in the CBD. Burgers were good, shake was good and the sides (we got the onion rings) were great too. One of the top burger restaurants in Melbourne CBD. Went 2 times and it was super busy on dinner time with a queue. Ordered the classic stack & crispy chicken burger. The classic stack burger are juicy, delicious and have perfect soft toasted bun. It was perfect with the crispy mushroom in it. However, the chicken is not that crispy and taste a bit dry.

As the waitress, standing outside, welcoming people to try out the place, handed the menu and I realised it was almost another burger joint like Grille'd.
Was pretty hesitant to order the chicken burger, as beef burgers are always better. But took the chance and decided to try out chicken this time and to my surprise, it was more than amazing! Loved the sauce and I don't even know what they add in it to make it so different from the other burger joints I've tried. Plus it is so cheap and reasonable, would definitely come back again.

Once in a while when I feel like eating burgers, Betty’s Burgers is my joint. The burger (Betty’s Classic) and Onion Rings were good but what got me coming back was the friendly service.
It was a Friday night so it was quite busy but the service was still great. A special mention to Sydney who was delightful on that night.
Syndey was attentive and cheerful when assisting in retrieving my order and cleaning up the table.

My first review since my visit to Thailand. I went to Betty's on my birthday with a few friends. We chose this restaurant for one reason, it's easy to access on the trams. I was pleasantly surprised by the food, it was pretty good, especially the classic Betty's stack burger. The service was very scatty, we were put on a table that was too small and some of my friends waited a long time for drinks and ice creams. One dominant shop floor manager and things would have been perfect. Other than that I have no issues and I'll definitely return. I'd say this is one of the better burger joints in the CBD.
Great atmosphere, amazing burgers! What more can you ask for at a burger joint? Everything deserves a thumbs up. One small negative is that the staff claims onion was caramelised but actually raw. Still good regardless!

Ever since Betty's Burger opened up, it has been my favourite go to Burger place in the city! It is absolutely delicious.I always order the Betty's Classic and the Chocolate Peanut Butter Thick Shake.
For a $10.00 burger it is pretty good price. The bun is lightly crispy yet still soft, lettuce is fresh and the angus beef is moist and packed with flavour to top off the deliciousness is the secret Betty's sauce! Yummy!!
I swear, I am soo addicted to the Choc Peanut Butter Thick Shake ($8.00). The first time I ordered it I drank it way too fast and afterwards I was super full. So I have now learnt to slowly drink in moderation! Hahah! The chocolate is not heavy, and the peanut butter is quite lightly mixed in the centre! Its sooo tasty! Its the best combo for me with my burger.The fries unfortunately I am not a huge fan off, simply because they are the shoestring fries. I prefer the thick cut fries its just much better to eat, I mean if you're paying $5.00 for fries you want something more substantial. Regardless, I am a repeat customer to Betty's Burgers and I have recommended this place to numerous friends and also taken alot of my overseas friends here and they all loved in! Heehehe!

I had a nice pork belly burger. But I have to say this is the next level of McDonald's. It's nothing more than a slightly up market McDonald's. The classic burger tastes like McDonald's bacon double cheese burger. The chips are the same as McDonald's chips.

I love this Joint, the queue is quite long but we got our table pretty quick, the staff were nice and helpful. Awesome staff, amazing atmosphere, food lives up to the hype. Only complaint was the dim lighting, but our waiter Sheridan sat us at a different table and took care of us the whole night, we will be back. Great staff and good, simple offerings. Bit confused about how to order but staff were super eager to assist. A little tough to have to get up and collect each ordered item as it was ready, especially dining with my young son and having to leave him unattended each time but this is a small gripe really as we were in and out pretty quickly and both left really happy

It was a great experience, we came here with our friends for a birthday and employee Sheridan helped us with hiding the birthday cake for us. Not only that but continued to check up on us throughout the night to make sure her and other staff were doing well to look after us. Liked it, didn't love it. Not sure what all the fuss is about really. There's always a line outside this place so it must be for a good reason. Their staff are super friendly and the space inside is nice and spacious. I tried their salad and my partner had the burger and chips - everything waste, don't get me wrong, but it's just like any other burger joint in terms of taste, there was noting exceptional about it. Even the selection of burgers is pretty stock standard. The chips are Maccas style, pretty much the same. They did have quite a lengthy list of milkshakes/thickshakes with every possible combination you can think of, perhaps that's why it's so popular? But I didn't try it so I can't really say. Overall, it was decent but not worry the 15 minute wait in line.

Excellent burgers, Wonderful staff, and good ice-cream to boot! This place has your classic diner fare, including milk shakes, cheeky beverages and well-portioned meals. Fries are extra, but they're set at a reasonable price so I'm not complaining. Waiting times were very reasonable and the food is always fresh so I've never been disappointed here. The custard-base ice cream is AMAZING and definitely worth a revisit.
Staff are super accommodating, even when my friend forced us to move tables three times to find a powerpoint so they could charge their phone. (Really? Really.) Despite eventually sitting near the bathroom door (the only available power point...) the staff were really good-humoured about the whole thing. It made my experience so much better and set it as a must-return location simply based on service alone.

Friendly staffs & nice ambience. The concrete was nice and not overly sweet. Their chips are also the long and crispy ones, which is really great. Though their signature sauce doesn't taste special unfortunately.
Had a long queue when i first went in but was surprised by how quickly it moved. I was served by Elizabeth and i was blown away by how nice and friendly the service was. I got a Betty's classic which tasted amazing, i enjoyed every bite of it and everything was perfect, finished off with a hot fudge doughnut concrete which was flawless. There was a great ambience and fabulous music selections! Would eat at again.
Great and yummy serving. It’s my 2nd time to visit this place and they just don’t let you down with the tasty betty’s classic burger that’s more than enough for me. They give service water in plastic cups but when we asked for a refill the waitress grabbed our plastic cups and used it again to get a refill. So economical though but it’s just off to me because how could she know that this cup is for who?
the queue looked long, but the service is really quick and the wait was less than five minutes. was served by elizabeth, who was really friendly. i ordered the betty's classic; the meat was juicy and the bun was soft. their french fries were well cooked, and their hot fudge doughnut concrete tasted fantastic. the ambience was nice and was well decorated. great music selection too!

It’s the closest thing I’ve eaten here in Australia that rivals Shake Shack in the States which I rate the best burger chain there. I think they’re very similar in taste and flavour.
Stopped by for lunch after seeing them at the food truck festival last week! Ordered the Betty's deluxe and it was absolutely amazing. Shoutout to Elizabeth for her stellar work on the concretes too, will definitely be back again! I recommend the lemon raspberry cheesecake :) 10/10

Betty’s Burgers lives up to its reputation, the burgers are excellent, and very tender. Starting with the buns, they are golden brown and looks spot on with the meat being extremely juicy and flavoursome. Their special sauce is included in the burger, and it is amazing, I would definitely recommend having it with the chips. The chips were thin and crunchy but not really salty at all, if anything, they’re just ordinary chips.
The restaurant itself is big enough to entertain and serve a small crowd with plenty of seating ranging from small to medium groups. As for the staff, they are friendly and very helpful with it comes with ordering and serving customers.
The only downside in my opinion is that the menu does not include a double patty burger for hungry eaters, and instead need to pay an additional $5 more for an extra patty with cheese.
All in all, this place is fantastic and well worth the hype. If you want a down and dirty burger, you usually don’t have to wait long as their boomerang beepers will alert you when it is ready, so come to this burger joint and enjoy the food here!!
Original and pork belly burger were amazing! Succulent meat, fresh veg and soft buns! Onion rings and fries were crispy and great to share between two. Wasn’t too fond of the custard ice cream only because it seemed like there was so much cream and not enough ice cream. The flavour was pretty good. Even though there was a line to get in it moved fast and the staff were friendly. Loved the interior!
Great food, awesome atmosphere and brilliant customer service. Crispy chicken burger is a MUST. Real chicken and gorgeous crunchy crumbed outside.

I always see one of their waitresses outside handing out menus, or greeting all the passer-bys and just thought one day why not try it out?! I never even looked up the ratings previously so I had no expectations whatsoever. We tried the kids burger, chocolate milkshake, betty's classic, crispy chicken, a serve of onion rings and french fries.
Extra points for having shoe string fries as I adore those but hate that I had to pay for sauce *cries*.
Kids burger tasted exactly like a cheeseburger from maccas, but the brioche was a nice level up. Classic too had beautiful flavours- hard to fault with the juicy angus beef and sauce; I loved the crispy chicken, it was unbelievably tender for a thick cut of chicken (breast I assume) and was deep fried to perfection. Chocolate milkshake wasn't the typical chocolate syrup mix, it's made with their custard ice-cream and it is STELLAR. The taste was not artificial at all, even hints of bitter chocolate came through which really helped through the meal. Onion rings weren't the best I had, but kudos for using real pieces of onion, just think the batter and seasonings (if any) needs a bit of work. Overall, really enjoyed it.

Was just planning on walking by when a plucky waitress Sheridan, boldly told me that their classic burger would be one of the best I'd tasted. I sought to prove her wrong. After all the very reasonable $10 price tag made me think it would be worth proving her wrong. I tried it and after a few bites, was blown away by your mix of beautiful sauces. From that first bite-oh, what heaven that first bite is. The bread, like a sesame freckled breast of an angel, resting gently on the flowery lettuce and secret sauce below, flavours mingling in a seductive pas de deux. And then a charming little pickle. The most playful little pickle indeed well worth the extra. Then a slice of tomato, a leaf of lettuce and a patty of ground beef so exquisite, swirling in your mouth, breaking apart, and combining again in a fugue of sweets and savour so delightful. This is no mere sandwich of grilled meat and toasted bread. This is God, speaking to us in food.
Went with my friends and I ordered a mushroom burger - it was amazing and I love how Betty's Burgers caters to vegetarians. Would love to go again; worth the grease
Great place to stuff your face. We ordered the pork belly and chicken burgers with onion rings to share. Liked: the huge chunks of succulent pork belly in my burger and the dripping burger sauce; the crispy fried chicken in my friend's burger (we went halfsies); delicious onion rings which I ate too fast.
Food was amazing. Loved the classic burger with fries and onion rings on the side. The place has a nice vibe and theme. The girl, Fiona, who served us was really friendly and suggested the concretes for dessert which was so good, especially the hot fudge donut. She was was very kind and made sure our concretes came out after our burgers. Such great customer service and will definitely be returning again soon.
Had a quick bite here for dinner on a Saturday night. The place wasn’t too packed and we were able to get a table straight away. We ordered a Betty’s Classic Burger, Crispy Chicken Burger and a side of onion rings with the Betty’s special sauce. Everything we ordered was exceptional, very tasty and had all the right flavours. The Betty’s special sauce was definitely a hit. We had a bit of a mishap where another customer accidentally took our order but other than that it was an absolutely pleasant experience. The ambience was nice and the restaurant itself was decorated very well. Definitely worth a visit.

Walked into Betty's with high expectations that have been met! Fiona took our orders (the shroom burger and the Betty's classic stack) and we were then allocated at the bar. I had the Betty's classic stack burger which was delicious! The beef was well cooked and was extremely juicy! I would definitely recommend this burger to anyone who wants a great burger for a reasonable price. The store had a unique but nice vintage surfer feel and staff were extremely friendly however not too "in-your-face" . Loved the experience and would definitely consider revisiting!

Working in the city, I have always come across Betty's burgers but never could pull the guilt or strength to eat it in Emily's absence. Fortunately today, we found ourselves in the city and this destination was finally on the agenda.
With friendly and attentive staff leading the way for a good dining experience, this place is vividly popular for families and those who work in the city alike. Ambience in here is exceptional, very unique, and paying great detail to lighting and even comfort and scenery- one of our favourites easily.
But let's get to the food. At such a low price, perhaps lower than most burger outlets, they do not compromise on quality or flavour. Ordering two of the chicken burgers, one with an extra beef Patty, we have nothing but favourable thoughts. The chicken was exceptional. Crunchy, crispy and juicy. The buns were also soft and the sauce complimented everything well. The salads were extremely fresh too. The beef and chicken combo I have grown to love was also good, with the beef oozing with flavour upon each bite. The side of fries we ordered tasted like genuine french fries, cooked perfectly too.
An all round amazing lunch option and would make this our #1 recommended burger outlet in Melbournes CBD. Will definitely be returning here!

Ringa Ding ding Bettys burgers are my favourite new thing. Upon arrival there was a line outside the door. However within 10 minutes we were seated and ready to chow down on some delicious burgers. We had the Betty’s classic and the Betty’s classic stack with sides. All I can say is that everything we had was bursting with flavour. The classic stack had a cheese filled mushroom in it which added to the juicyness. The burgers were succulent cooked to perfection and even though there was heaps of cheesy goodness, the burgers somehow held up and didn’t turn to slop. Definitely in the top 3 burgers I have ever had. Do yourself a favour and give them a go. Word of advise, don’t be deterred by the big line as it moves quickly. It’s worth the 10 minute wait.
Walked into Betty's burgers to be greeted by lovely staff and was already impressed by the service! Was especially grateful to Fiona (working at the cash register) as she was patient while I was indecisive with my orders. Ended up ordering the crispy chicken burger which was tasty! The brioche bun tasted good which accompanied the crispy chicken, sauce and other condiments well.
Pros: fries and onion rings were just too damn good! The cheese had a great special taste to it. Burgers were oozing with flavour and love! Service was truly outstanding! It was a hot day and we were handed water in line and staff were all very friendly and welcoming! Decor was spot on too resembling a true American diner!

Decided to pop into Betty’s Burgers because I was craving some chips. Saw the menu and next thing I knew I had ordered an entire meal and absolutely loved every single bite. On most days, there’s crowds of people outside Betty’s burgers lining up during lunchtime. We decided to come for dinner instead as it wasn’t as packed.
Ordered the crispy southern and shroom burger. Shroom burger was amazing- the cheese literally oozes out of the fried mushroom patty after each bite! Lettuce in the burgers were decent quality too.
Fries were pretty ordinary. I enjoyed the onion rings a lot more as they were fresh and crispy.
Finally went to Betty's Burgers and as expected the line was super long. But Fiona, the girl at the register was so friendly and helpful, and patient with me while choosing my order! Thank you girl! The burgers, also as expected, were so tasty and definitely worth the money you pay for. The overall vibe was good, and I would definitely be coming here more often!

I don't usually eat out very often but the other day I dropped by betty's for a quick lunch. The atmosphere was lovely and the place looked wonderful. I wasn't quite sure what to get so I asked one of the staff members for a recommendation. She extremely helpful and very enthusiastic about the burgers :)) I ended up getting the Shroom burger thanks to Fiona and her very sweet smile!

Very reasonably priced burgers for what you got. The burgers were very tasty and full of flavour. The bred was delicious, fresh and soft. The line to get in was long but the wait for food was short. Nice cheaper place to get a reasonable burger in the city.
Came for a quick dinner, wanted to buy a merchandise shirt and the staff weren’t sure if they had any. Liam ran and checked and brought us some options but not what we wanted!! Because we’re visiting he advised when we travel up to Sydney & Queensland we could pop into a store and check there! Great food and seems great service.
Had the fried chicken burger and it was simple and really good. Only suggestion would be to make it a bigger piece of fried chicken and then it would have been a 5/5. The fries were delish. Will visit again
I recently went to Betty's and it was pretty packed. Even though it was packed the staff members made everything run smoothy and it didn't take long for me to be seated at a table. I was having trouble decided what to get. A staff member name Fiona recommended me a Betty's Classic, and it was one of the most delicious burgers i have ever tasted. Thanks to a lovely staff member i had a good time at Betty's.

Went to Betty’s on a public holiday when not very much else was open, and joined an intimidatingly long line that was very quickly and efficiently dealt with by the lovely and friendly staff. We waited perhaps 10 mins for a table and I appreciated that we could order first while they cleaned it up which made everything move along quickly.
We had the Betty’s Classic Deluxe ($15), Crispy Chicken ($11) and Pork Belly ($12) with onion rings ($6) and french fries ($5) to share. I finished with one of the ‘concretes’ ($8) and I really liked how they were able to deliver this separately after the meal rather than having to line up again to re-order. There was a 15% surcharge for the public holiday which was very reasonable.
The burgers were all absolutely delicious and have that very American, slightly greasy but perfect when hung over feel, but with quality meat and fresh salads. I particularly liked that my pork belly had smaller, individual pieces that were super crunchy rather than one big slab as most other places do these days. The onion rings are some of the best I’ve had, perfectly crisp and crunchy - highly recommend.
For dessert I had the Spiced Pecan and Banana Cream Pudding custard ice cream which again seems to be a very poised accompaniment for these new American style eateries. The flavours were delicious but I’m not overly fond of the custard ice cream itself - a bit too thick for my liking.
All in all, a new favourite Melbourne burger!
I love a place that knows what it's good at and doesn't fill up the menu with sub-par extras. I didn't have any of the desserts or the shakes (though the shakes looked great), but I did get the burger and fries. The fries were really good, thin cut just how I like them. The burger was amazing. Thin burger but still pink in the middle + a grilled bun = perfection. My Mom had the mushroom burger: it looked great (battered and fried) and she enjoyed it and she's not even a vegetarian (She actually didn't realize it was only mushroom when she ordered it because she didn't read the menu properly lol). The friendly staff (had a great chat with Elizabeth) were all happy to check if everything was good and if we needed anything else.
Awesome burgers and shakes. The onion rings are sensational. This is one of the best burger joints around. A little on the expensive side (2 burgers, a fries, an onion rings, a shake and a water was $56) but fabulous if you are prepared to pay a bit extra for quality product.
If you are craving for a greasy burger then Betty’s burgers are just for you. I was definitely disappointed with the fries, it was the saltiest fries that I have ever tasted.

Pretty busy place with nice ambience. The buns are sweet and soft, beef patty grilled to perfection. They have a confusing system of ordering at the cashier before getting seated and collecting your own meals, but the cashier (a very bubbly girl named Fiona) kindly explained the system and answered all of our questions with extra patience. A few of the other waitresses helped us out throughout our time there too, but a few of my colleagues did mention the floor service could do better during busy times. All in all, the food and environment is great, try not to go during peak hours and hope you get a patient cashier who's more down to earth than those from other burger joints!

Betty's Burgers honestly has some of the best burgers I have ever tasted. There was nothing pretentious or over complicated about what they served, but it was honest, and delicious. Everything was put on the burger with purpose: the buns firm and fresh, the salad crisp, and the meat hot and delicious. Even the chips were salted right, enough to be strong without being overpowering.
The service was amazingly quick and attentive without being invasive. Every time we needed anything, somebody was there to attend us within moments.
The price was fair at $40 for the two of us before dessert, and the atmosphere created was well directed to casual dinners with family and friends. We have friends coming down in a few days from Brisbane, and there is already a good chance we'll be bringing them here when they do.

Was feeling hungry and was drawn into the cute atmosphere of Betty’s Burgers lights and employee smiles. Came in and ordered a Betty’s Classic, despite it during peak hours it came out within minutes, made by Shane Young a wonderful cook, despite it being oily, the soft bun, and vegetables brought everything together. it may have been a bit pricy for $10 but overall a good restuarant ❤️
Was at Betty’s for lunch today! It was super busy but Hannah who was on the door was amazing and explained the seating process, food was amazing, and service was awesome! We will be back!

I constantly pass Betty’s Burgers when I’m travelling into the city and have always been meaning to try it out. One weeknight I decided enough was enough and decided to give it a go and went along with a couple friends to put their burgers to the test. The first burger we ordered was Betty’s Classic Stack, the betty’s classic, an angus beef patty AND crisp fried mushrooms filled with melted gouda and gruyere cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, betty’s secret sauce. I was expected a decent burger and some crunch, but was blown away by how good this burger was. It was so so juicy with the combo of the meat patty as well as the cheese that oozed out of the mushroom patty that was crispy on the outside, tender from the mushrooms, yet soft with the melted cheese. We ordered this with a side of french fries which were nice and crispy.
Betty’s burgers are magnificent! Defiantly one of my favourite burger restaurants to dine at. The staff are incredibly friendly and defiantly add a positive vibe to the already American styled atmosphere!
The only thing to say would be to increase the potion sizes as the burgers are quite small but besides that will be visiting again soon!
Betty’s burger are generally great. There is always a long queue waiting to order. The betty’s classic and pork belly burger are great as always. This time however, the only complaint was that the mushroom on the betty’s classic stack was just too oily. The only thing you’re going to focus on your first bite is the amount of oil in the burger. I don’t know if it was oily because it was just so very busy when I went, but it is not worth $16.
The place is lively and has an open window concept which gives it a pleasant appeal.
My love for burgers got me here and needless to say the chicken burger was amazing, right amount of crunch and cream to it gives it a refreshing taste which u'll definitely savour.
The shoom burger is good in case u are into excess cheese, it's deep fried and loaded with molten cheese.

One of my all time favorite burger places! You just cannot go past the classic burger! I am not sure what the special sauce is but that combined with the juicy patty and delicious bun make for a very yummy burger! Also fantastic service! Even though we had to line up Hannah was super friendly and helpful. We were even offered a cup of iced water while we waited! The burger was definitely worth the wait! I will be back!
Popped in for a quick lunch today, first time visiting Betty's but I've heard some great things, just had to try it for myself. The whole experience was lovely, food was quick and tasted fresh.
Staff were all very friendly, the girl outside who gave us our menus was lovely! After we had eaten our meals, one of the staff members Dana, came in and checked in on us and was also very nice, she explained some of the desserts but we just didn't have any room for one today! will have to be back again to try one. I visited with my sis who is here on a holiday and we ordered a Pork Belly burger and Betty's Classic! My sis said they were the best burgers she's ever tasted. She was singing praises of the well-buttered buns and well, the fresh green lettuce.

We also loved the look of the eatery, it resembles an American diner and it's definitely a instagram worthy place. It has a very colourful, fun and vibrant vibe!

God I love burgers. Not the overly big fat double greesy clog my arteries and send me to my grave 60 yrs early, but burgers that actually fit in your hand, doesn't drizzle everywhere and leaves you feeling like you've made a difference to this world. Very nice and clean burger, nice vibez, only downfall is paying $4 for a cup of post-mix coke. I went to the vendor 50m away and got a real coke for $1.70. Winning!!
Very tasty burgers, no wonder long queues. It’s like an upmarket fast food place where you order and pay first, but has waiters that help you pick up the food. The Betty’s Classic burger has a good smokey taste on the meat. The crispy mushroom is a good way to have mushrooms even though the mushroom is a bit chewy. The onion rings have a good batter and right amount of crispness.

Ordered the Betty's Deluxe burger with fries. The burger buns was soft however held the burger together nicely, which made it very easy to eat. The patty was juicy and delicious and the sauce complimented the burger nicely. The fries were quite average, overpriced for what we got. Atmosphere was a bit retro and I liked the colour scheme. Pretty delicious burger! I had the Betty's Classic, and even though it's simple, it actually wasn't simple and was full of flavour. The meat was cooked well and the 'special sauce' was really good. The chips were alright but could have used a bit more seasoning. I've had better burgers, but was still a really good burger.
You can't go wrong with a burger for lunch, and Betty's Burgers does not disappoint. Had the Crispy Chicken and Betty's Classic, along with onion rings and chocolate thickshake and I can't wait to return to try more. Went during lunch hour so there was a short wait but the staff are very accommodating and friendly.

The burger was almost perfect, I ordered a Betty's Classic with bacon and extra patty. The patty was delicious, flavourful and juicy, the bacon was crispy enough without being burnt and the bun was soft without falling apart and getting soggy. My only critique was that the burger was a tad small considering I added an extra patty and probably could have gone another burger after.
Overall I strongly recommend eating here if you're a burger lover.

We are definitely glad to have finally visited Betty’s Burgers after such a long time. The burgers here were definitely one of the best ‘fast food’ burgers we’ve come across to date, and the concrete was just delightful. It’s truly a shame we haven’t stopped by sooner!
Had a burger here over the weekend and I have to say that Betty's Burgers is possibly one of the best things to come out of Noosa, love their shakes as well. Don't ask me why but a shake goes so much better with a burger than a Coke does.
All the staff were amazing especially Andy and Billie! Loved the burgers as always would 104% recommend!! Come here for a 14/10 feed!! My fave is the shroom burger but the classic is also delish.
Absolutely fab food and the staff are super friendly. Great ambiance, the music playlist used is incred! A real great family restaurant that’s easy.
Got the betty’s classic with additional patty and onion rings. Bread was a little soggy but the patty was very juicy! Sophia was of a great help.

Came here for a quick lunch, place was packed and i had to lined up around 10 mins.
Vibes were great, nice interior and overall jumpsuit for every staff is a nice touch!

Despite solid burgers and a great dessert, I actually didn’t love Betty’s Burgers. But for once, I can actually clearly point to the reason – portion sizes. There was so little of the burgers that I ended up feeling quite dissatisfied, despite the quality of the food. And sure, I could go and order another burger, but what kind of self-respecting, sober person does that? I wanted to love Betty’s, I really did, but until I succumb to the temptation of adding an extra patty and bacon, I think I’ll be getting my burger fix elsewhere.

You will see from the front appearance that this restaurant is more toward cheerful and enthusiastic design rather than casual. you will choose the menu and pay upfront. Betty's classic (beef), dude im telling you that this is one of the most amazing burger ive ever ate. the beef is really tender and the taste the meat OMG it really gave you a heartwarming feeling. somehow the combination of the soft bun and tender beef really melts our tongue
Pork belly, guys. this is a must, probably ill put it as one of the best melbourne dish. might a bit weird to hear at the first time "pork belly burger....?" 11/10 recommended menu. the pork was never overcooked so it is still fatty and crispy to chew, the marinate was a bit sweet which give you another kick in the mouth.

I came to this joint with my friend yesterday. I really loved the decor and interior of this place which felt like an american diner upon entering this place. Pink themed bar with a 1950s feel to it.
Now onto the food, I ordered the crispy chicken burger with onion rings and a caramel thick shake. My friend ordered the Betty's classic with a chocolate thickshake. I absolutely loved my burger, it was very delicious. Succulent and Crispy chicken with a tasty sauce drizzled all over it. Onion rings tasted delightful as well and it complimented well with the burger. Thickshake tasted damn good I must say, not your average milkshake which you get from coffee shops. As you sip it, you know there is burst of flavours running through your mouth as your drinking it. I was a big fan of this.
My friend equally loved his burger as well and loved the juiciness of his beef patty. So we both were happy customers at the end.
Customer service was excellent. I was looked after by 2 girls whose names I've forgotten but they were lovely and checked on us to make sure everything was ok. So I enjoyed my experience here in this burger joint and I definitely recommend to try their thick shakes and any burger really, as they all taste delicious in their own way.

Really great burgers and onion rings, also enjoyed the special sauce! Service was friendly and very attentive. Even though there is no table service for ordering and collecting food, staff checked up on us a few times which we appreciated. This will definitely be in our rotation of go-to burger places now.

Betty’s classic for $10 is a pretty decent burger. The beef patty is cooked to perfection, juicy and messy the way it’s supposed to be. The sauce was good but overall nothing special.
Onion rings here are pretty good and is recommend any day over chips.
Place has a nice retro look to it and super clean. our server Sophia was pretty amazing and very helpful. That cute smile helped a lot too.
Bottom line, have definitely had better burgers, but will definitely be coming back to try the premium ones on the menu.

It's in the city, it's makes amazing burger, the chips crunchy and were cooked to perfection. I went for the meat burger with pickles and extra patty and it's a winner. The meat is so juicy. The sauce makes the burger, It has tang without being overbearing. I strongly suggest you get extra on the side. I also had a concrete but it wasn't amazing. The service is really good. All the staff were really nice and the food came out in reasonable time. If your craving the burger in the city there's plenty to pick from but this place won't disappoint.
We came here on the advice of a uniqlo salesperson when we asked for a recommendation of good burgers in Melbourne CBD (visiting from Perth) Super pleased we took her advice! The burgers we delicious, really light and fresh and the fries were crunchy and great. Dessert of a raspberry lemon ‘concrete’ was the perfect end to the meal. The staff are outstanding, especially Andy who was super helpful and kind. The fitout is adorable too. An all round excellent casual dining experience.

Placed in the thick of the concrete jungle that is the CBD of Melbourne is Betty’s Burgers. The location is ideal with much foot traffic, the food is tasty and the service was delightful by one exuberant Holly! The concrete desert was the highlight :)

I rarely rate a burger joint of 5, but with Betty’s Burger, I’ll make an exemption. The Shroom burger is a must-try! Super juicy and With a bit of extra bacon on it, makes it even tastier!

Great place if you’re craving a juicy burger. Interior was very cute and service was relatively quick. The onion rings with their aioli was really nice! The food isn’t amazing, but worth going at least once.
Had a great experience here today, from the queue outside, the lady greeted me politely and gave me the menu. Alice took our orders and we sat at the bar table, impressive service as when the buzzer went off, she helped us pick it up from the kitchen, quickly, as there is a line waiting. Small thing, but it’s things like these that makes Betty Burger stand out from other burger places in the city.
Just had dinner here and it was great! Food was simple and delicious - just what I was looking for in a burger joint. The atmosphere was on point, too. Our waitress, Sophia, was excellent - friendly and attentive, even going out of her way to grab my desert and take payment without me having to leave the table. Fantastic service.

Had the Betty's Classic Deluxe on a GF bun. Unreal. Fries are fantastic. Service was awesome. Andy can whip you up a custom GF concrete to follow up your burger - vanilla concrete with raspberry, meringue, lemon curd, and passionfruit whip on top (not blended). Highly recommend. Betty Burger originaly comes from Noosa, Brisbane and their first branch opened in the corner of Elizabeth street, Melbourne CBD.
This burger shop is considerably very spacious.
The interior design is very funky, modern, young and bright.
The vibe and atmosphere in this burger shop was very nice, cosy with the nice background music.
When we arrived to Betty's Burger, we're greeted by the friendly and cheerful customer staff.
We went with a group of 10 people, actually they didn't have long table to cater 10 people but somehow they made it happen by setting up the table enough for us.
We ordered Shroom Burger (Crisp fried mushroom filled with melted Gouda and Gyureye cheese, lettuce, tomato, with Betty's special sauce) for $12.00 and
french fries (sea salt seasoning) for $5.00.
It's perfect option especially if you're a vegan and mushroom lover.
The burger used brioche bun which was fluffy and compliment well with the filling, musroom and homemade sauce.
All ingredients were made fresh (lettuce, tomato).
It was a decent size and value.
The mushroom was firstly deep fried, the texture was look like the beef patty.
Though it was crispy and crunchy from outside, the mushroom was very tender and juicy inside.
It was absolutely recommended when you have a chance to come to this burger shop.
The french fries was served warm, crispy and perfectly seasoned with generous portion.
It was absolutely a perfect companion to have french fries with burger.
Overall, we had a really great time having burger in Betty's burger and definitely will come back to try other burgers and of course with their classic french fries on the side.

Came here with my girlfriend yesterday as we liked the look of the place we were seated reasonably quickly and we went up to order and once we retook our seat a young lad called called James took our pager off us and brought our food and shakes over when they were ready. We had Burgers, fries and shakes each all were delicious. Hoping to come back soon although only in the city for a few days. Well worth the arguably expensive price but it was fresh and tasty so no complaints.

Easily the must have if you go here. You get the usual tomato, lettice and cheese but the winner of the dish is its patty (well cooked and juicy) but the mushroom patty which consists of two together with good quality cheese melted between then lightly crumbed.
Resteraunt is very clean and very welcoming staff. Will definitely go back again.
Betty makes the best chocolate milkshake from frozen custard, it is in the top few that I have ever tried. The burger was excellent too, I had to pay extra for the pickles which I think should come standard with every burger, it was not a sugar bun, but gee the burger was juicy. The lettuce gave it a fresh taste and the diced onion added texture and taste. The onion rings were good too. We also had the chicken burger, it was just standard crispy chicken, and a small piece at that.
The bun is incredibly crispy. I ordered shuroom, the combo of mushroom and beef is great. Definitely will come back for another burger. Also, fries are delicious.
For all of the quality burger places in Melbourne this place rates up with the best of them. The buns are great and don't fall apart and the patties are succulent and juicy. To be honest the only fault is the chips which I just didn't enjoy, having said that the burgers more than made up for them

Betty's is now my go to place whenever I need dinner when I'm in the city. When I first went there I was really undecided on what to get because there is so many delicious sounding options on the menu but one of the super friendly staff Sarah recommended the Crispy Chicken with added bacon and now I'm hooked. Don't even get me started on the onion rings and Betty's special sauce, I don't even have words to describe it, it's just so good.
The atmosphere of Betty's is so friendly and although there is always a massive line, it's completely worth the wait. It will always now be my favourite place to get burgers in the city.
Three of us sampled a bit of everything and not a one of us was disappointed! Their crowning glory would have to be the Classic burger. They keep it simple, but add amazing flavour with their own special sauce.

(My pro tip? If you want malt in your shakes, ask for it! It’s not on the menu but nothing beats a vanilla malt shake!)

These are that sort of burgers that changed your perception of fast food and yet won't break your bank! Must try is their Betty's Classic burger and "concrete". The ambience is lively with good music and of course packed with people. Most importantly, their crew is exemplary of all hospitality business! They are happy, friendly and funny- Andy tops it all!

Had the Bettys Classic and not for the first time. A great, fresh tasting and well seasoned burger. Better than 8bit and Burger Project.
The only down side is like most fancy burger places (not Maccas) the burger is over prices at $10 with +$2 for pickles and +$3 for bacon.

So good!!! Not a crumb left, the staff was amazing, especially Sim who picked up our order for us and made the atmosphere feel great! Such a fun and fast place to grab lunch, don’t be discouraged by the line outside, it’s super quick! We ordered and Ate and had plenty of time!
We got to Betty's at around 1pm today and it was incredibly busy. We were given menus while we waited in line which was great. The queue and tables were being managed brilliantly by Andy and he made sure we didn't feel forgotten.
There was about a 10 minute wait time between being seated and being able to go up and place our orders. This isn't a huge wait and we didn't mind but Andy ensured we were given a complimentary concrete.
A server named Dayna made sure all of our needs were met and went that extra mile for us by collecting our food from the pick up counter and preparing our complimentary concrete herself.
The food was amazing. I had the crispy chicken burger and some fries with sriracha mayo. The chicken was perfectly crispy and the burger buns were soft and fresh.
The chips were done perfectly too. Can't fault the food at all.
Definitely can't wait to come back here, both the staff and the food were amazing.

Amazing. Day out in the city with the family , we needed something fast and tasty. Greated at the door by Andrew he took us under his wing and talked us through everything. The food arrived in no time and Andrew made sure that everyone was happy and even suggested a dessert that was promotly gobbled up. Cant thank Andrew enough for an enjoyable experience especially as the lunch time rush had just begun. Go there you wont be disappointed!!!
My favourite burger in all of Melbourne right now: the Betty’s Classic with added bacon. Oh, and the peanut butter thick shake is delicious... so delicious.

Our quest for nice burgers took us to this nice, vibrant place - Betty's Burger & Concrete Co, and they do play some awesome popular music.
As we maneuvered through the menu Kunnu was too tempted to order Onion Rings together with other burgers. Shroom Burger, Betty's Classic and Crispy Chicken together with Onion Rings were ordered and to our utter disappointment, the attendant informed us that they did not have onion rings....so instead we ordered French Fries. We were keen on ordering concrete but weren't sure of the portions so thought of trying it only after the burgers were on table.
Betty's Classic was an immediate hit with us. A generous juicy and perfectly cooked Angus Beef topped with super tasty Betty's special sauce, cheese and tomatoes was to die for
Shroom Burger was second best with a perfect layer of nicely cooked crispy mushrooms and generous topping of cheese.
The disappointment came in the form of Crispy Chicken Burger and French Fries. Crispy chicken was extremely dry and too salty for our palate.....even Betty's yummy sauce failed help enhancing the taste of it.
French Fries seemed to have been fried in salt rather than oil.....that's how salty they were.
Prices seemed steep for the size...but wouldn't complain as we totally loved Betty's Classic and Shroom. Service is fast and smooth. Attendants are pretty sweet to patrons.
Would have rated them at 3 for the shortcomings but would give them a benefit of doubt until we visit next. P.S: Attendants gathering in a corner, quite close to few tables, gossiping about their routine / life was a put-off but we guess, it can be taken care of.
Oh god, I've now discovered Betty's Burgers. Although I'm not concerned about my ability to stay away from their burgers, I have serious concerns about staying away from the concrete. In particular, the almond toffee marshmallow concrete. It's a symphony of SWEET DELICIOUSNESS and I can't handle it. Someone halp.

The Betty's classic is sensational. Went down the hatch in seconds. Soft, cheesy and acceptably greasy.
The Crispy chicken I wasn't sold on at first, the fillet was thin like crumbed paper, but then realised it was just misshaped, so I was presented with a big and succulent rear end to finish off.
Overall very good and one I'll be paying return visits.

WHY HAVEN'T I BEEN HERE BEFORE? A friend and I went for dinner on a Tuesday, got us some burgers, fries, and onion rings, plus a milkshake to share. Best impromptu dinner ever. The fried chicken burger was juicy and perfectly spiced, and the pork belly burger was TO DIE FOR. Not as crispy as I would've liked but that may have been because of their delicious Betty's special sauce. It brought the whole thing together, sandwiched between soft brioche bun. SO GOOD. The atmosphere is bright and delightful, and the service was spot-on, attentive, and so friendly! We had the lovely Liam help us out during our visit, who was just the cherry on top of a great time! This is definitely one for our gal pal date night rotation!! WILL. BE. BACK.

Service is great, food comes pretty quickly. The burgers and fries really start to add up when you get a bit of bacon on the side or sauce on the side though. I find the burgers a bit too rich for me as well and it kind of sat in my gut for ages. Would probably try the naked burger next time, otherwise the flavours are good
One of my best discoveries of Melbourne! Had the Shroom Burger which was out of the world. Cheesy and delicious. The thickshakes are nice as well. Staff is really sweet and service is great. Will be back soon!

Can't be faulted at anything. Had Shroom - mushroom burger and Betty's classic - cheeseburger. Buns were perfect brioche, sweet and crisply toasted with butter. Patty was tasty. Fried mushroom patty with melted cheese was fantastic. Chips was thin and crispy. Peanut Butter Brittle on top of creamy and smooth Chocolate Ice Cream was divine. Had a really perfect Sunday lunch after church.

I love Betty’s Burgers! Seriously delicious classic American style burger (super soft brioche bun) and a chocolate and peanut butter thickshake. Great presentation too, the burgers came out looking perfect. Took a new friend here tonight and I feel like a made a new one in our amazing host Liam. So happy that for once I got the host’s name because his service was absolutely above and beyond, I’ve never felt so welcome at a restaurant, even though they were so busy on a Friday night. You’ve got a regular here for sure, always a good decision 💕 TRY THE CONCRETE!
Went there tonight for tea with mum and was pleasantly surprised. There was a line out the door and we were told a 15-minute wait, apprehensive we decided to stick around. The wait was only 10 minutes long with a very friendly staff member (tall dude, a redhead with a beard - didn't catch his name) chatting to us about the place. Service was very quick, 10-minute wait and the burgers (pork belly and chicken) were delicious and fresh - both agreed it was the best burger we've ever had. Ordered a concrete each which was nice but a tad too rich. Liam came over and asked how everything was and had a nice chat about the history of the place. Overall the food was delicious, service was exceptional and will definitely be returning next time were in Melbourne.

Whenever we come to Australia we always look out to see if there will be a Betty's burgers local because it's our favourite burger joint to date. I seriously have not found a place that beats the quality, taste or price of this place. I can't fault them at all. The ingredients taste fresh, and even if you eat a piece of the Betty's basic burger meat on its own it has an amazing flavour to it! I don't think anything will ever top Betty's burgers, simple but so delicious

A really good burger place! We ordered the crispy chicken burger and the classic Betty and some onion rings for lunch. But stingy on the onion rings though, didn’t receive much at all.
By far the highlight of the experience was when we ordered ‘concretes’. We got the lemon raspberry cheesecake and almond toffee marshmallow. They were absolutely delicious and we will be returning to try more.

Betty’s Burgers arrived in Melbourne late last year. Originating from Noosa, It’s one of Queensland’s most popular chains, and brings along American-style burgers, thick shakes and concretes.
One of the best burgers in Melbourne and also the best Fries! Can’t go here without getting the hot fudge donut either! If your lucky enough to get Sophia as your waitress then you are in for a real treat. What a love. I want her to be my friend. Andy is also alright too
Service was excellent, short wait outside but was well worth the wait! I had the Betties Classic Stack and a caramel thick shake. The burger was absolutely spot on! The flavors of the fillings were complete but did not overpower each other. Size is spot on and will feed you well! The thick shake was heavenly the smooth caramel flavor was great! Liam’s service was top notch as well! Highly recommend to any burger fan!
Hands down the best burgers I've ever had. Betty's Classic Deluxe burger was juicy, tasty and substantial. Choc peanut butter thickshake was incredible. Service by Liam was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

Great food! Came here with friends and had some fabulous food. The only downside for me was the customer service. Coming from a hospitality background it all seemed very forced from the waiters/waitresses, and came across as obnoxious sometimes.

We loved devouring the delicious burgers. We decided to go a little crazy and try The Betty’s Classic and added an extra Crispy Chicken patty. Simply superb. With a rich and succulent Angus beef pattie, and wonderfully crunchy fried chicken, the burger had, sandwiched between two halves of a slightly sweet and perfectly toasted milk bun, lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese and Betty’s special sauce. We got the Betty's Classic Duluxe with fries and the Peanut Butter thick shake. The burger was simply the best I've had in Melbourne! Been trying out loads of restaurants in the area and they're no where near as tasty as this one. The fries are rustic with skins left on. Great choice as they are crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. The shake....damn! Creamy, thick and delicious.
As for atmosphere and the service. It's quick and easy, nice and simple like it should be with all the focus on the quality of food. Felt like we were treated nicely as well! Thanks Liam!

We were here on a Tuesday evening after work and had to wait for about 5' for a table for two.
Hannah got the classic betty with some added cheese while Luke got the fubky pork belly burger. Both of the burgers were great. The meat was well marinated, the buns were toasted to give extra crispiness. The sauce was not too salty or fatty and was provided sufficiently. The pork belly was crunchy and the beef patty was tender.
We also got small serve of chips which was crispy, not oily, and well seasoned. We'd prefer a slightly bigger portion though.
We also were recommended the chocolate thickshake which was quite impressive and refreshing. Usually we would go for the caramel but this time the chocolate was a great choice. The shake was thick, and it did taste like great quality ice cream / chocolate, not those cheap homebrand chocolate stuff.
Service was friendly and polite. The place looks great as well but could get quite packed during Thursday and Friday.

I ordered the plainest burger possible and it was still amazing! The bun was super soft and the special sauce made the burger something special. I was going to leave it at that but Sophia from BB convinced me to try one of the desserts and it was definitely the right choice. Their "concrete" cups are closer to custard then ice cream and perfect to end the meal. Would definitely eat here again.
Had Betty's classic, which was beautiful. My friend had the Shroom burger and thinks it is a little bit oily but still delicious. We shared onion rings that were golden and crispy. Laura was a sweet, welcoming and attentive waitress. :)

This place was absolutely phenomenal in terms of the quality of the food, cleanliness of the environment, and friendliness of the staff. The food was amazing, best burger I've had in quite a while! And the chips were tasty, everyone was happy with the food. But the service was ordinary at best - you have to be seated by a staff member but you go up to order your food and take a buzzer which goes off so you can collect your food, which is fine, I just don't see the point of waitresses if customers are doing that much themselves.

There was a long line during lunch time for a seat. Their decoration looks so tempting. Thick shakes are definitely their must-try ones, it is so gooood! Anw, the burger menu seems not creative. There are only some very ordinary burgers that you can find at Maccas or Hungry Jack.
I will certainly come back but just for the thick shakes, not for their burgers.
Enjoyed a delightful lunch at Betty’s with a small group of work colleagues. Although there was a considerable line at the entrance, we were warmly greeted by Sheridan who was able to help to swiftly usher all patrons into the venue. The chicken burger was divine. Crispy, moist and decadent. Betty’s is a true staple to those working in the CBD.
The customer service is pretty epic - Sheridan is such a friendly waitress and she's really lovely. She recommended the mushroom burger, as a fellow vego. Defs returning for the shroomy goodness!!! High quality food too!

Betty's Burgers is a prime example of what sinful indulgence is when fast food is done right. Don't expect artisan burgers here.. Instead, be ready for that glorious feeling of guilt after you down your meal!!
The fries were delicious albeit a tad too salty (hey, just like how it should be at a good fast food restaurant!), and the sauce portion is miniature for having paid $2, but would I do it again? Oh yes. Yes I would.
There was a long line when arriving but maybe 10-15 minutes later we had a seat at a table with great service and delicious food! Very fresh and hot.
Betty's Deluxe burger = Betty's Burger with the addition of bacon and pickles. Why they do not put pickles on the original I will never know..
Anyway, it's pretty damn good. The thing that makes it really special is that the bacon disintegrates with every bite - it's not chewy, or crispy, it literally is like a new form of matter - it disintegrates in your mouth. And no, that is not the 3 pints talking, it actually really does - go see for yourself.
And who doesn't like mayo on a burger, it's the (not so) secret sauce that so many burgers lack.
The staff are dressed in uniform, which adds to the fun of the place and service is friendly and really courteous to boot.

We came around midday on Saturday and there weren't many people around yet. They have a really quick ordering system with the light up buzzers and a pick up area.
We ended up getting two Betty's Classic burgers, fries, a lemon & raspberry concrete and a choc milkshake.
The burgers themselves were quite juicy and tender, and the buns were very light and fluffy on the inside, and at the same time had a crisp outer shell. The fries were your standard shoestring fries, salty and crispy. We really liked the concrete though. Despite how it looks, the flavours paired nicely, it had a tangy hit to it, and at the same time, sweet and had crunchy bits for added texture.
The service was lovely as well, Laura took our order promptly and made us aware of the most popular orders. They were also very accommodating with alterations to burgers (yay for picky eaters)
Only downside was that there wasn't any water/glasses around to stay hydrated after a heavy meal, and also no soap on the bathroom.
Overall, we would definitely recommend everyone to try it out!!
What a nice place!! This diner's got a great 80's feel. Welcoming staff who are eager to please!! A fantastic fit out with comfy seats and a super view of Elizabeth st and Collins st corner. The burgers ain't half bad either, in fact they were cooked perfect. I had the Betty's classic with bacon, and my friend had the crispy chicken. The shoestring fries were crispy and perfectly salted. One small thing- guys leave the sauces on the table. I'll be back and tell everyone about one of the best burger I had!!

Not the usual place for a late Fathers Day catch-up (we were travelling on Fathers Day) but quite a relaxed vibe and staff were very helpful in securing us a table for 8 despite not being able to book. I loved the interior and the music and those chairs are pretty comfy. Order food at the counter and squeeze out to pick up.
They had a good selection of beer and I might also add not a sign of the XXXX that was posted in a previous review yesterday thank goodness. They should update their online menu though as people might get confused about what drinks they drank while actually at the venue (easily done I guess). I enjoyed a good Melbourne pale ale craft beer on tap and others in the group had wine by the glass.
The burgers were the main event and I was expecting these to be good. I tried the chicken burger which had a thick crumb and was well seasoned. I was definitely a fan of the special sauce but others in the group were less impressed. I also got to sample the pork belly... yum and shared some onion rings and chips. Onion rings were oily and crunchy good. The chips (fries) were nothing special at all.
I did froth at the thought of some of the ice cream concrete desserts and tried the lemon and strawberry cheesecake. This was just ok but I loved the concept and the texture. I would probably not pick this particular flavour again as the others I saw around me looked more divine in their creation.
We sat for over 2 hours but this place isn't really designed for that. Having to queue with the folk ordering food meant our drink consumption was reduced but I'm guessing we didn't come to a burger joint to drink ourselves crazy right.
I would come back for a beef burger and another concrete flavour. The vego in our group loved the shroom burger (their only choice unless they wanted sides or a plain salad).

Had a dinner date with a couple of friends here, as a friend of mine has been wanting to try this place out after hearing all the good reviews from it. I would say the burgers are super good and tasty. We ordered the Betty's classic and 2 Betty's classic stack, and also a side of chips(forgot to take a pic since I was so hungry😅). I tried the classic stack and loved it, the mushroom with melted cheese with the beef patty goes so well. Since we wanted something sweet to end the meal, we decided to share a lemon raspberry cheesecake concrete...it was just okay.
Great place to catch up with friends, enjoyed the buzzy atmophere. Stayed for burgers, chips and drinks and found the staff friendly will be back!

Amazing food in a busy restaurant. Staff aren't super attentive but are pleasant and helpful if you ask. The burgers are fantastic; and the concrete is very indulgent. The serve is smaller than you'd expect for $8 but the taste is wonderful

Situated in a central location and with plenty of seating this is an ideal place for a casual work lunch or city outing. The "concrete" part of the name refers to the frozen custard mixed with toppings (eg banana, salted peanuts, chocolates). Whilst the frozen custard is satisfactory, it doesn't taste as "custardy" as it should (Royal Stacks nearby does it better). But for the other part of the name, the "burgers", I had the pork belly burger which was great. Nothing to put it above the many other decent burger spots around, but it will leave your burger cravings satisfied!
I'm a burger guy, and I give this burger a rare two thumbs up. Not quite the quality of a place like the Arbory, but pretty close, in a retro US style setting. My only gripe is that they cook their burger patties significantly more than I prefer. Next time I'll request a less cooked patty and see what they do, it could get an upgrade to five stars!
It's a casual diner style place, so and usually pretty busy; a good option for meeting up with a small group of friends before heading out.
The bigger the better.bettys burgers are the way to go. Great decor drinks and the food is banging. Will be back to try more, it can get messy but a beautiful mess

I decided to stick to Elizabeth Street for lunch and as I'd walked past Betty's Burgers a number of times previously, I thought it high time I paid them a visit. I'm very glad I did. Staff were super nice and friendly, decor was old an school beach setting and cruisy old school rock tunes played in the background. All in all the perfect place to enjoy a fine burger.
I ordered the Betty Classic Burger and a vanilla shake (no fries as I'm trying to cut down) and the burger was tasty beyond description. Nice shake as well. A bit dearer than say Mickey Dee's or Hungry Jack's but then a little extra coin goes a long way towards a mighty fine quality burger meal. Cannot recommend enough. :)
Just like it's sister store on the gold coast. I always order the Betty's classic burger and it has always been consistently tasty. The crispy chicken burger is also very goood and worth trying. Definitely a place to take friends as the dining area and atmosphere is good.
The burgers taste good and interiors are nice as well. The portion is bit small for me but it was ok for my friends. I think the mushroom burger is the best. You should try it.

Amazing as an American felt just like home, I wish the prices were a little different from what it actually was. Very simple I think it could be cheaper but I enjoyed it especially the French fries so crispy and delicious I throughly enjoyed it.
Cute decor and delicious burgers, fries and shakes. Betty's hails from Noosa so some of you may know it well already. I tried the mushroom burger when I went (having recently eaten a lot of meat I opted for the veggie version). It was so good! It had cheese inside the patty and was like Nothing I had had before. Delish!

I ordered a Betty's Classic and for a basic burger, it knocked it out of the park. Fresh, tasty and a good size burger. Lettuce is fresh. Cheese melts perfectly over the smashed patty making every bite as delicious as the last.
The fries are slightly underwhelming seasoning wise but that can easily be fixed with adding a bit of salt or opting for one of their dipping sauces. Portion size of a side of fries is generous.
I'll be back to try more of the menu and can't wait to do so.

Overall great service and though the restaurant was quite busy we didn't wait long for a table. My wife grabbed the chicken burger and I had the classic. Found my burger to be a little over salted but the bun and sauce was nice. Couldn't fault the sides. Delicious onion rings.
My first night in Melbourne and told my friend about this place next to my hotel that does amazing milkshakes and it turns out he has been to Betty's before and loved their food.
What do I do? Take him to Betty's to try there so called irresistible menus and holy god, It is quality food.
$50 for us 2x Betty Classic with extra beef patty, 2x Coke and 2x onion rings and beyond me it had filled me right up.
Venue itself is very nice with ambient lighting and music flowing in background at a low volume so you can hear it while talking. The waitress was lovely and kind and everyone was using please and thank you!

I have been to Betty’s a few times now and the food is always fast and fresh. As soon as I entered this time, Nick welcomed us and explained the menu. Best customer service I have received in a long time. He came back to our table to check on us when we had our food, remembered our names and treated us like we were the only people there, even though the place was pumping. Try the concrete - delicious! Will be back again for sure!
We're only writing this because the little placard on the table told us to. However, the burgers were great, chips and onion rings were yum, and the concretes were simply the best. Service is top notch - and not just because Andy told us to write this. Andy is pretty great tho.
We had the classic and the shroom burger. We've had many burgers before and the classic was definitely up there on the list. The shroom burger was a delicious crumbed patty of mushrooms, gruyere, and (insert name of other cheese). There was an overwhelming amount of cabbage leaf in the burgers, but they were unexpectedly sweet and yummy by itself. 11/10 will have again.
We also had the Hot Fudge Doughnut and the Passionfruit Ginger Crumble. YUM. YUM. YUM. simply yum.
Betty's is a mix of service and self-service. It was confusing but delightful. 20 burgers out of 20 will come again.

Casual place to enjoy burgers and chats. We ordered their angus and crispy chicken burgers, both taste delicious. Their fries are a bit of a let down, expecting a much better quality of fries to accompany my burger. But their onion rings are nice. Definitely coming back when the weather is warmer, to try their Concrete.
The staff were really great and friendly- 5/5. Food is pretty expensive for what it is, I think I've had a better burger else where that is bigger and cheaper. Onion rings and fries were nice but nothing extraordinary. Sauces were yummy (special sauce and garlic mayo) but $2 each was a bit steep considering I got one burger for $15.. Overall good experience. But a lunch meal for $50 between two people is pretty pricey.

One of my favvv burger in melb. I ordered the bettys classic and i loved it! And its only $10! Just the right combination of classic american burger of cheese patties and salad. Add milkshakes if you want smth more filling but the burger by itself made me super full.

One of the best burger joints I've been to - the concretes were my favourite. The waiters, especially Sim, were extremely friendly and welcoming. Overall a positive experience and would 100% go back again!
Gone past many times and now realise why they're always busy. Had the classic burger and it was really YUMMY!!!. The patty was well cooked and had a crunchy exterior but tender on the inside. All the other ingredients tasted fresh. I just thought the bun was average (much like your typical fast food style bread). But no other complaints....I LOVED the burger.

I was immediately greeted by 3 servers (not on purpose) but they were all very friendly and inviting! I ordered the Betty's Classic, which was simple and delicious, and fries with siracha mayo (a little too tangy at first, but eventually the flavour balances out). The aesthetic is really relaxing, with adorable fairy lights and hanging plants, and I love the concrete mix-ins suspended on the back wall!

I got the basic Betty with bacon and pickles, mushroom burger and the almond marshmallow concrete. Everything about the burgers is absolutely top notch. All ingredients are as fresh as can be, the beef patties are the smashed variety and cooked to perfection. The mushroom burger is the business and the concrete is fantastic. We found ourselves in the CBD on a Sunday around lunchtime, so came to Betty's to give the burgers a sampling. The decor had an American diner vibe, which added a cool ambience and was very fitting for the type of cuisine. The burgers themselves were really tasty. We ordered the classic stack(mushroom patty and beef burger) and the fried chicken burger. The meat was cooked to perfection, nice and juicy with lots of flavour. Betty's sauce was a welcome addition to the burgers too, a delicious special sauce. We also ordered fries with siracha mayo, and my goodness was the mayo amazing! I wanted to order more fries just to eat more of that mayo. The chocolate thickshake was good, but incredibly rich, one between two was plenty! I would definitely consider stopping by here again if we found ourselves craving a burger in the city.

A pretty looking burger place to catch up with your girlfriends.. I've walked past this place a million times and finally decided to step in and check out their amazing burgers. God oh god, the burgers here are so soft and so yummy.. it looks tiny but just enough for lunch! I paid about $25 for a Betty's classic burger with fries and their traditional dip. I really enjoyed it. Left the place with satisfaction. Although I must admit that the burger was a bit greasy. Well I forgot all about it when I took my first bite.
This place gets super crowded in a jiffy. Cause of that, we were attended to at our table symbolising to leave every 5 mins. So if you can tolerate that, it's a best place to visit for a Saturday brunch!

With the Betty's stack, the beef patty was a tad dry. But the highlight was really the fried mushroom which was so juicy, cheesy and full of flavour! Next I will probably go for the 'shroom burger.

Great juicy burgers. It is usually busy during the lunch time, but well worth the wait to get a table. Tip, add the extra pickle and bacon to your burger.
Betty's is a cute little place and can get quite packed at peak times. We waited in line but it wasn't too long at all. I was pleasantly surprised that the burgers were cheap but when we got the meal, I realised its because the portions are smaller than average. Still tasty though! Onion rings were pretty good as well!

I came here on a Friday night and was pleasantly surprised at a few things.
Although there was a line (what do you expect on a Friday at a good burger joint), the general vibe and atmosphere was the first thing that we noticed.
First things first, the service here is amazing. Starting with Dana at the front, and all the other workers, everyone clearly had customer service at the forefront. This place is clearly well managed.
I got two burgers:
First I got The Classic Beef burger. I gave this burger a 9.5/10 as it was up there as one of the best burgers I've ever had. The bun was soft and slightly sweet, the patty was moist but not too moist that the bread was damp and the flavour was great.
The second burger I got was the chicken burger. I gave this a 8/10. It was a nice burger however I felt the chicken was missing a slight kick to it. The chicken was a nice texture however.
I recommend getting 2 burgers as the burgers are slightly smaller than what you'd get at a big burger joint.
The only real improvement point were the chips. A bit stiff but acceptable.
Music choice was on point.
Overall, I left extremely satisfied with both of my burgers and my meal.

Very tasty burger. I got the chicken burger and added a beef patty. Fries are very nice along with the Betty's special dip. Only downfall was the small sized drink. Peanut butter brittle concrete was amazing. Would recommend
We were recommended Betty's Burgers from a friend who had recently been on a family holiday to Noosa and they said we had to go when we were in Melbourne. Lucky for us we were staying right around the corner. Service was great from the get go and the food, omg we do not have anything like this in NZ. Explained to one staff member we were visiting from Dunedin and turns out she was from there too. Thanks to Hannah?? And the staff, hopefully we see you in NZ soon!

Perfect place to take a family to have a great burger. People were extremely friendly.

Ok so let's get one thing straight off the bat. You don't go here for a cheap burger. $20 gets you a burger, onion rings and a coke. The burger was about the size of my palm. In saying all this it was a good burger, not smashing but good. As with previous reviews I would say I've had better.

Betty's on Elizabeth is great, reasonably priced, and does a great job at the classic American burger. Was super excited to try the mushroom/beef burger (reminded me of shake shack) and was not disappointed, although not quite as good as the portabello burger in NYC they were recreating. Reasonably priced office lunch, didn't feel too groggy afterwards and it was a great serving size. Would definitely come back again!

The entrance to this place looks really inviting and the atmosphere inside is really nice.
The actual concept escapes me...
You line up while a table is free and the Maître D gives you a menu. You can't actually grab a seat and have a drink while you wait, but you actually have to stand up at the entrance... Once there's a table available, you proceed towards the order counter and make your order (a quick and painless process). You're then given a buzzer, which you take with you to the table. The super annoying thing is that with all 3 orders, our buzzers went off separately for each part of the order - once for your Burger and Fries, once for your Drink, and once for your Concrete (sundae). So, you need to get up and go to the pickup counter each time - it's rather frustrating and peculiar that they can't just have it all ready at once.
The food... I had their classic burger and it was packed with flavour. That said, at $10, it's expensive for what it is as it simply isn't enough. You either need $5 fries or $6 onion rings (or both), or maybe just a second burger (at which point the whole exercise becomes quite expensive).
I didn't try a milkshake, but had a Raspberry Cheesecake Concrete (sundae), which was quite nice, but at $8 it's, once again, on the pricey side.
They do have a few beers on tap as well as cider and wine - all very reasonably priced.
Overall, it's a cool joint to try out once, but I doubt it that I'll return considering there are far better choices in Melbourne.
Snootamere here. Nothing one loves more than a delicious burger and Betty plus staff did not fall short of that. Classic is what we had, delicious, succulent meat patty, fresh lettuce and a soft ( maybe to its detriment ) brioche bun. Loved it though. Staff were great, the in fashion racial mixed bag of course works wonders with its city setting and all were extremely cordial. Great music ( louis prima ). Will return

Food thoughts:
💸The burger bun was soft but the beef patty itself was the star. Thin, but packed full of flavour and punch. It's a memorable burger and the kind I'd go back for.
The onion itself was cut into smaller pieces as opposed being left in pieces; which helped to distribute the strong bite. Extremely good choice!
Unfortunately, the onion rings were too crisp for me that they lost the onion flavour. I enjoyed the crunchiness but at the expense of the natural sweetness of the onion? No thanks.
My friends were mad fans of the Betty fries though! Crunchy and thin, they were also a fan of the cut and the simplicity of the sea salt. Personally, I'd still prefer Maccas chips because they're a fraction softer.
Service:
Set up directly opposite the tram stop, get prepared to wait during lunch hour. They put your name down and before you can go order, your whole table has gotta be there. Then, you go line up (reminiscent of the canteen style during primary school) you then grab your electronic table notifier and then go back to the waitress who will point you to a table.
If it's not busy, they will offer to grab your burger for you and bring it to your table; probably to avoid a mad queue. It's a nice personalized touch to the service!
Shocked at how amazing these burgers tasted, could argue that they are the best burgers of Melbourne! Not only that, the service was impeccable, Bianca gave such bubbly, positive service. I've been to many good burger places but the vibes and customer service was outstanding! Defs recommend everyone to go there asap!!
Being the fussy eater that I am, I tried the kids burger with just meat and cheese. Honestly speaking, the beef patty was so flavourful and tender. The burger bun was rich and buttery yet fluffy. It was really yum!

My friend and I arrived from Adelaide to Melbourne and visited Betty's Burgers for lunch. We ordered the fries and onion rings, which were a very generous serving and were equally as delicious, as well as two burgers. One was the crispy chicken and was Betty's classic beef burger. The prices of the burgers were super affordable at $10-$11 each, were definitely made fresh, came out quickly and had Betty's "special sauce" which was quite incredible in itself. One suggestion we have however is to extend the burger menu, since there were only 6 options. We also ordered their concrete custard icecream, a peanut brittle and a mix your own. This was just like a better version of Ben and Jerry's icecream!
The layout and design inside is so beautiful and unique and has a fun upbeat vibe to it because of the music. Most importantly, the service was wonderful! Everyone was so friendly and attentive and this made it a place that we would definitely come back to. Fingers crossed they do open a place like this in Adelaide!
Decided to come see what the fuss was about for dinner last night. Was not expecting much really from this place, just another burger joint . But holy hell was I wrong had to make an account just to say so!!! Me and my family had 2 classics, a pork and 1 of the kids burgers. The beef patties just melted in you mouth, best burgers i've ever had. My wife and brother thought the same and my daughter loved the concretes. Can't rate this place any higher. A definite 6 out of 5! From the moment you step in the door, the entire experience is outstanding! Great staff and processes to greet you, explain the menu and organise a table. 60's diner music was a nice touch and everything was super clean and tidy. My only regret was sharing a Betty's Classic Burger and and Crispy Chicken burger with my son. We should have order 2 of each because they were both amazing. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, we finished off with two of Betty's Concretes....blended custard ice cream with a wide choice of added treats. I went for Sticky Date with Salted Caramel Sauce. Wow! Do yourself a favour, skip the other burger wannabes and get yourself down to Betty's. Well done to Baden and all the crew!

Firstly this is a hidden gem for burgers in the heart of Melbourne CBD
My Boyfriend and I came her for dinner on a Monday night before a show that evening.
The venue itself is a bit on the small side but definitely makes up for it with its American style feel and buzzing atmosphere! And this was a MONDAY night!
Service was good, seated straight away.
We were given the menus and directed to order at the bar when ready.
We both got the fried chicken burger with caramel shakes and fries and dipping sauce. Drinks came out quickly, then shortly after that our buzzer went off again and our food was given to us.
The burgers themselves were AMAZING Betty's special sauce whatever it is is that mouth watering! Chicken wasn't oily at oil, everything about the burger amazing - can not fault.
The chips however, very average fries not much flavour. The milkshakes we yum but small - and for $8 a milkshake I would expect something a little bit more fun, they were kind of like a donut king shake.
The overall pricing is a little bit over priced but once again people will definitely come back for those burgers. I know I will

Been meaning to visit this place since December but never found the occassion. Finally asked a friend out to come here recently and WOW there was a massive line. Considering that a few weeks ago they were pretty much deserted, I was shocked to queue up outside in the cold. It was worth it though. We both ordered the original burgers. Judging initially from the look of the thin patty that was the exact thinness of Maccas hamburgers, I wasn't expecting much. But wow, did those patties blew me away. It was intentionally thin to allow for the perfection that is the slight crispness and juiciness of the patty. Loved the sauce and the bun too!
Warm and friendly staff - thank you to Corey and Christie who made our family welcome. Great burgers and exciting atmosphere. The dining experience and wait staff exceeded my expectations. A place we will return to. Great price too! Very homely, cushions and all.
Very Nice and chilled out place! The staff is very friendly and helpful! I tried their Onion rings, crispy chicken burger with a Budweiser! Loved it!! Will visit again soon!

Had an awesome experience here. Came and had the crispy chicken (which was delicious) and a serve of fries. The restaurant was clean and looks super cool. Staff are friendly and attentive. After having wanted to try Betty's Burgers for a long time, I finally got the chance to try them and was not disappointed! I ordered the Betty's Classic which was just as I imagined an authentic American burger would be, and the fries which were perfectly done with the Betty's special sauce - so good. The decor is lovely and the staff were so helpful. All in all it was a great first experience!
As soon as we joined the queue outside we were greeted by Nick who was very helpful and friendly, once we got inside the service was super quick and the food was amazing! I had the crispy chicken burger and fries which were so delicious and having eaten a lot of burgers in NYC, Betty's is definitely on par! Love the decor and vibe and will definitely be back! About to try the concrete, can't wait 😘 Madison was also super friendly!
Yumm bettys classic was on point ! In the city today trying a place to eat and came across this burger bar, we were served by nick at the front and madison at the door! Both making the experince all out! Recommend to anyone who wants a tastey meal for a great price

The ambiance was good, bit of a wait there for lunch but was worth waiting for , definitely worth another visit . The burgers are filling and definitely different than usual ones.
Had the Betty's Classic and it was very filling 😋The burger buns were very soft. The burger options are limited but you can add extra ingredients which costs extra. My friend got the pork belly burger and added a beef patty. Overall, customer service was great. Employees were friendly and the food came out within 5 mins. loved the decor and the music too 😊
Enjoyed it. Staff were happy to swap the kids burger for a veggie option. Mushroom burger was really good. Kids ( both under 10) loved the option of building their own dessert as well.
Been here 3 times and have had a fantastic experience the first 2, however the 3rd visit was outstanding.
The bacon in my friends burger looked a little strange, so we let staff know. The owner/manager then came over and explained what might have caused it, and said a fresh burger was on the way. He brought us onion rings on the house while we waited, then a new burger and (although not expected/needed) fresh fries. The staff checked everything was okay this time around. Before leaving they handed us a menu and said we should take a look at their desserts and pick something to have on the house.
Although a pricey burger joint, it's worth every cent & the staff are excellent. 100% will be back a 4th, 5th, 6th, and so on time around ��

This is the frist burger place as I enter Australia. Unexpected the burgers here taste a lot different than how it is tasted from where I am from, California. I have been here couple times to eat since it was near my hotel. If you are a person touring around Melbourne Australia, at least give this place a try because the food would filled your taste buds with deliciousness.

We were met with some very serious lines outside the front. Upon entering I couldn't help but think the venue itself was very poorly designed as there seemed to be a lot of wasted space and the way the tables were laid out made in difficult and frankly quite irritating to get out and collect your order (particularly if your buzzer went off with a false alarm like mine did!). Credit to them the did notice that we were struggling to climb over other diners whenever our buzzer vibrated (including about nine screaming babies that somehow all congregated to THIS venue at THIS time, torture) so they did hand deliver our desserts to the table which was appreciated.
Unfortunately I was disappointed by my crispy chicken burger as the bun was extremely thin and as such it wasn't very filling. I will say though the 'special sauce' was very special indeed. Absolutely delicious in fact. My partner loved his naked burger and called it the best naked burger in Melbourne due to the lettuce ratio being optimal for wrapping around the burger. It's a sad life when you can't have the bun but at least he was satisfied. Not quite content I went for the lemon raspberry cheesecake concrete which was pretty delightful. There's also the option to make your own which one of my companions did utilising the sticky date pudding mix in YUM. The other sampled the peanut butter brittle which he was very happy with. Overall it didn't quite live up to its hype. Betty's is somewhat an institution in Noosa and is starting to expand around Australia but sadly didn't deliver to my expectations from a burger front. And that of course is the main event.
A peanut butter thick shake... I'm in heaven!! Nice and thick and great flavour. I also had the Betty classic burger. Loved the sauce and buns. Lots of very young staff here but they did great! I'll be back.
For the standards I have seen around Melbourne this has been very cheap and affordable for an incredible value meal. The burger was one of the best. I have had for the amount it cost and it went down without touching the sides. The deserts are very creative and modern with the choices and flavours. Thanks to the team for an amazing dining experience
Madison and the team. My crispy chicken burger was amazing. 10/10 I'm from south Australia and next time I am here I will come back. You should open one in Adelaide so everyone can enjoy it.

Burgers and onions rings were amazing!! The chicken was incredibly tender on the inside and beautifully crispy on the outside! I added bacon to mine just finish it off. Excellent customer service as well (shout out to Madison) 😊😊

Betty's classic it is the greatest burger in town. Came here with no expectations and this place blew me through the roof, service was great and process was clear and saved so much time! Madison and the team were proffecional and happy to make our night!! 5 stars love this place
Recently visited Betty's burgers and was astounded at the level of service, professionalism and friendly interaction from the staff, in particularly one of the staff member named Madison. The food itself was sublime, I had a chicken burger that was as delicious as aiofe the beautiful waitress.

Up there with Melbourne's best burgers. I am tentative about calling it 'the best' as i'm not sure what's stopping me, perhaps the only reason being that I haven't been able to try all Melbourne has to offer. I can however vouch for the quality of burger Betty's Burgers produce. The buns are light and fluffy, the patty is full of flavour, not greasy and the meat is well cooked and of good source. The salads and extras taste fresh and the presentation is outstanding, like you would see in a marketing campaign. The sauce is heavenly and really makes the Bettys Classic. Looking past the product, the venue is also something to behold and really adds to the experience. It has a classic America diner vibe without the feeling of tacky decor and furnishings you get from most american diner replicas. Someone has spent a lot of money getting this formula right and it's being noticed. Well done!
Wonderful place to go! Fast and efficient service, great tasting food, affordable prices, the manager Mr. Baden runs a fine establishment. Definitely recommend Betty's Burgers to anyone, especially Americans that are a little homesick while in Melbourne, Australia. Go go go!!
Really delicious mushroom burgers, but the chips were disappointing and it cost $1 for tomato sauce. Reaaaally good burgers though, so I just dont even know how to feel.

A classic burger with a great taste. This place is lively and the food matches the service in excellence. The patty taste was out of this world. It's been awhile since I enjoyed such burger. Should be franchised.

Firstly, love the space, colours, lighting and friendly staff. I've been meaning to try this place for awhile and it exceeded my expectations. Betty's classic stack was just an explosion of cheesey mushroom goodness and married up well with the equally juicy beef patty. The onion rings were perfectly constructed but a bit expensive for the amount/size you get (seriously it's just onions and batter). I'm a sucker for onion rings though.
Already bursting at the seams, it was my duty to celebrate international doughnut day by getting the concrete hot fudge doughnut. It was amazing. Different textures of crunchy, soft and spongy with the occasional hit of cinnamon. I'd come back just to try their other concrete concoctions.
A great place to come and hang with friends. Great atmosphere and delicious burgers. I had the chicken burger and the best part was the sauce. The staff that work here are fantastic and witty, and have to thank the lovely Mel for being a good sport and always cracking jokes.
Mel was super attentive and very friendly. The atmosphere were very cosy and awesome. The food was delicious, I had the classic betty burger deluxe and onion rings.
Really good service, my mate accidently ordered a veggie burger and we all had a good laugh and he was like guys what the heck oh wait it's really good and we were like oh ours is good to and then we laughed. #ExcMelent

Went here for their custard ice cream and fries. The ice cream was yum and has a chewy texture which is good. My friend ordered the cheesecake flavour, I like it but she said the raspberry was a bit too sour for her. I ordered an almond toffee marshmallow flavour, love the creamy chocolate ice cream and the caramel was thick and perfect. Chips were simple and nice. Love the place and decorations, looks fancy from outside but the menu is actually simple and affordable. Went there around 4pm today (Friday) and the lady front staff who served us were so friendly yet lovely. Would love to come back to try their burger for sure.

Recently myself and two friends went to Bettys burgers for dinner as word around town has been saying the burgers are amazing. Upon entering the store I was greeted by a staff member who was so polite & so friendly that we all felt extremely welcome & excited to be visiting.
Well the exceptional service we received from the staff member named Madison Jones didn't stop upon entering. While waiting for a table he was gratifies enough to have a friendly chat & ask us where we were from & how we heard about bettys.. he then proceeded to explain how the menu / ordering system worked (being our first time) & explain some of the delicious items on the menu. As we stood there waiting less then 4 minutes for a table we witnessed the efficient service the restaursnt was providing and how friendly ( being exceptionally busy at the time as it was ) how Madison was still providing 120% customer service. Madison went on to show us to a nice table, he checked on us once we received our burgers which was literally a 2 min wait. & the burgers did not disappoint. The rumour is right.. the burgers are incredible. But most importantly..
Myself working in the retail / hospitality industry for some years now I take notice of good and bad service. So what seemed like a busy environment to consume a burger for us vanished by the EXCEPTIONAL service and kindness shown to us by your staff member Madison Jones. I have since been back a couple of times & he remembers myself & my friends by our first name. I cannot praise Madison & bettys for giving myself and my friend continual outstanding customer service & quality food. Madison's impressions have out shined that of some high class restaurants in Melbourne. Thank you !!

Wow!! You need to try the bare betty, the line was huge but we were seated so quickly was very impressed, the atmosphere was very friendly and service was great! Madison was super helpful and funny! The staff are all great and will definitely be coming back :)

Was siting at work all morning and decided to take my break early and head down to Betty's burgers, to my surprise I was greeted by Madison and Dana at the door both excited and happy to have me dining with them! The burgers were amazing and service was fast and 5 star in my eyes!!! Defiantly recommend to everyone who loves burgers :) love Baden too!

Just had THE BEST lunch here!! Awesome place to eat - definitely make sure you try the Chicken Burger + grab one of their Peanut Butter Milkshakes!!! Serious yum! Thought I would try a Betty's burger for lunch... when I arrived there was a bit of a line which surprisingly moved very fast.. The staff were super friendly and helpful running me through how to order etc.. let me say... I ordered a Betty's Classic on Gluten Free bun... It was the BEST burger if have ever tasted.. usually Gluten Free buns are dry and hard to swallow... this was a burger to perfection. Thank you to all the friendly staff for a lunchtime sensation!!!!!

Despite a queue, Madison and Dana got everyone thru efficiently and with a smile. The system from queue to ordering to eating was spot on. The food was excellent and so glad to hear a Betty's is coming to Sydney. Well done.
Visiting from NSW were blown away with the quality and speed of service. We had burgers and concrete (frozen custard with mixins) and both were great and better than we had back home.
Love the mushroom burger. They serve the better fries in town. Beef burger is alright. Went on a quiet day no queue. Service was fast. Tomato sauce served in plastic tub straight out of the fridge was unpleasantly cold tho.
Their burgers strangely remind me of a quarter pounder, could be the melted cheese and sauce combo? But if you like McDonald's, ( which is my guilty pleasure) and looking for quality burgers + onion rings to wash down with a serious milkshake or concrete, then Bettys is the place to go!
FYI Their Build your own concrete is a wonderland for the non diabetics. It's hard to resist!!
Best burgers I had for a long time!! Buns were just nice in size and flavour - not overly oily or full of butter. We had the chicken, mushroom and pork belly but hands down to the shroom burger! It was super delicious, not only it had a huge mushroom stuffed with melted cheese and deep friend with breaded crumbs, its also warm and crispy! Perfect to pair with shoestring fries + betty special sauce and coke #bestinmelbourne
Pretty awesome. Had the classic deluxe, surprised at its freshness and non greasiness, and quality patty. Had onion rings too which were nice but sparingly served. Joint has a bit of a franchise/clinical feel but staff super friendly and service efficient and prompt. Probably top 5 in cbd burger joints so we will be back!
Went for a quick fix after a footy match and was pleasantly surprised. I had the pork belly burger and although it's not huge, it was crispy and tasty. Finished with a hot fudge doughnut concrete that had all the wrong sugar in the all the right places. Prices are good and atmosphere's full of personality.
If your a burger lover like me, this is the place to go!
The burger left you wanting more. Enough said! As I took my first bite the meat was juicy, the cheese was tasty and the bun and sauce just melted in your mouth and because of this, the burger was devoured in seconds. I kid you not, I could have had two!
We finished off with a frozen custard topped with candied walnuts, sticky date pudding and caramel sauce! Again, we were amazed. Super tasty and the perfect amount of sweet to finish the meal.
I would also just like to comment on the amazing customer service and the system they used because they had people moving in and out of the restaurant so quickly, and all the waiters couldn't have been more nice and helpful!

Came here for lunch today with a colleague. I was a bit apprehensive when I saw the queue but it moved quickly and we only ended up waiting 5 or so minutes to order. Betty's Burgers is very 'fast-food' in its approach, queue to order and then get a buzzer for your food. Service was not very good at all, I must say. The girl serving us was actually pretty rude and I was not a fan. I was feeling increasingly unsure about my decision to eat here. However, when the food came (and by "came" I mean, my buzzer went off and I walked over to a window to collect my food) my mood instantly lifted. I got the Betty's classic and it was absolutely delicious. The burger wasn't pink in the middle, as I usually like it, but it was super juicy and delicious. The lettuce, tomato and onion were all very fresh, as well. The chips were crispy and well-seasoned. I also got a Coke and whilst I think $4 for a small post-mix Coke is way too much, the burger was cheap ($10) and the chips were reasonable ($5). All in all, despite the service, I will definitely be back.
Came here with my mate from Sydney cause it's my usual burger spot. You guys are doing amazing! The burgers are always delicious.

Went to this place for lunch on Sunday and totally satisfied with all our orders. My husband had the Betty's classic, I had the crispy chicken, and bith of us shared a chocolate shake.
The classic beef burger is fantastic, the patty is juicy and has got a smokey aroma. The crispy chicken that I had was so nostalgic. The coating on the chicken has a nice crunch and taste like the original KFC chicken made with love and care.
For us the highlight of this place is that they keep their burgers nice and simple. Fillings were made properly, they're not trying to put everything in one burger so you can actually taste the hero of the dish.
Restaurant ambience was laid back, just like a burger shack.
Great burgers. Comfortably in my top 5 in Melbourne. But the sides... damn they need to pick up their game there. First time I went I got onion rings, they were barely warm like they'd been sitting in the bain-marie for 45 minutes. Second time I thought I'd try the fries, surely there's a high turnover of fries so they're cooked fresh..? Nup. Barely warm, dry in the middle cardboard sticks. Shame...

Delicious burgers and fries. Milkshake was horrible because it was basically just ice cream and fries were cold. They also forgot tomato on a burger. Quick service and clean dining area. Quite expensive for 2 people but overall and good spend.
Really good burger. Simple menu. I had the classic and I have to say, way better than the Big Mac like burgers from royal stacks up the road. Very glad a place like this is around. Have to come back and try the concrete!
Tried all of their burgers now, my favourites are the shroom burger and the Betty's classic. The Shroom burger is one of the best vegetarian burger in Melbourne, good balance of source, melted cheese and fried mushroom makes it creamy yet crunchy plus the mushroom taste, a very unique blend. The Betty's classic is a very simple American style burger with not so much herbed beef patty, lettuce, tomato, cheese and Betty's source. It may be simple, but together with the soft bread it just gives you the impression what a simple beef burger should be like , not too heavy on any ingredients and a well balanced taste that all the ingredients are there. Try the stacker if you both the goodness of the mushroom and the beef patty together. I do wish the portion is bigger, but for those who wants to have dinner there or don't their burgers to be too heavy, that's a good thing.
The mushroom burger has got to be one of the best things I've ever tried. Highly recommend it. The fries are standard and nothing to write home about. The concrete was nothing special, in fact borderline unappealing. Essentially expensive, unappealing cold rock.
However the service was fantastic, especially as we went on a packed Friday night. The staff were friendly and chill.
Went to Betty's burgers for lunch last Friday where the food and service was 10/10.
Despite there being a long line, the lovely girl at the door reassured my friend and I that the line will move fairly quickly.
As it was our first time there we had asked the same girl on her opinion on burgers and she happily recommended us with her favourite burger and side.
I ate the Betty's Classic with fries and a shake (as recommended) and it tasted amazing!!

We decided to go and tey Betty's Burger & Concrete on a Friday night (bad idea).
Estimated time to find a table for 6 was 15 minutes and in that regards we were seated exactly within that time frame. It has to be said though that the entire process wasn't well organised and at one stage were offered 1 single tiny round table for 6 people 😣.
The order system also was confusing and not functional: one by one orders with alarm clock boxes given to collect your food when ready; so all our meals came out at different times.
We ordered one of each of their burgers as well as onion rings and chips. The buns were too thin, soggy and oily, meanwhile the meat itself was cooked well and was okay. Overall the burgers were nothing special but they did the job, however the prices are on the higher side compared to our top 3 burgers places in Melbourne.
I want to mention an appreciation towards all their staff who were very young, hard working and passionate: great to see our youth under this light, well done!
I give this place a 4 for its peanut butter milk shake. It was simply divine!!!! Burgers are pretty decent but nothing exciting about them. Infact I don't quite remember how they tasted except for the fact they were not bad either. For some reason betty seems to be popular but to be honest there is nothing exceptional about the burgers.
I saw this place and I thought I'd give it a whirl as I like a good burger. And a burger can be brunch right? Haha
Well I am sooo glad that I did. OMGosh this place was amazing!! My Betty Burger ($10) was delicious, just perfect from my first mouthful till my last. Yummm haha

This burger never seems to disappoint. My boyfriend and i travel 40 minutes just for this succulent burger. The first time i had it was in noosa and i prayed for this place to finally come. The meat is juicy and the sauce is flavorsome, the bread is so soft and everything mixes well. I will always come back for these burgers, best burgers in Australia by far.

Damn, the burgers are saucy and delicious and every bite is heaven! I've tried the Betty's Classic Burger and the Classic Stack. Both were so scrumptious. The beef patty is perfectly juicy, the sauce heavenly and the sweet brioche bun just falls apart as it soaks up the sauces, making Betty's easily one of the best burger joints in the CBD in the ever growing burger culture. Chips are good, as are the onion rings but the burgers are pretty filling already. If you have room for dessert, the "concretes" (aka. ice creams) are a delightful addition to the Betty's experience.
A burger restaurant chain originating in Queensland, Australia, Betty’s Burgers have recently brought their beachside vibes down to Melbourne. Famous for their burgers and house made ‘concrete’ ice creams, I would say they are fitting in nicely in Melbourne’s CBD. Their understated philosophy of offering good quality burgers and desserts without comparing themselves to other burger joints is a humbling trait, and something that continues to draw in customers.
This is definitely my favourite burger joint so far, burgers and thick shakes are delicious. Staff is great, I managed to drop my burger on the ground as I got back to my table and it was cleaned up and a new burger was brought out straight away
Came here for the first time , really nice burger for the value but the onion ring was not great. Did not try the shake but heard good things about it. Descent location and environment. Takes a while for the burger to be ready or it did in my case.

Nice burgers- i had the bare Betty burger (no bun) wrapped in lettuce. Angus patty nice, although for 2 people with drinks and chips it cost $52 - not sure if really worth the price, but was going and nice atmosphere.

Heard good things about the food so thought we'd try it out after some city shopping. The quick service was a plus although the lack of seats was a bit disappointing. The Shroom burger was the better of the two we ordered with more flavour in the patty, the pork belly was rubbery and lacking flavour. We tried the pecan concrete and that was the highlight of the meal although $8 for a small tub of ice cream was a bit much. Overall good but nothing special.
I wanted to love this place as my sister had previously been to the one on the Gold Coast, Qld however it wasn't superb in my opinion. The chocolate concrete that I got tasted incredibly familar and then I realised what it tasted like - yogo - like a very thick yogo that had been frozen - it was still pretty good. The burger I got was the classic, the sauce was good, the patty was good but it just felt like it needed something else. The onion rings where also pretty good. Next time I would try something out before ruling this place out completely.
For a fussy eater I really like this burger place. I got the classic Betty without the tomatoes and onions, and it still tasted great. Don't get the chips there because I think they're a bit average. But the staff are great my friend dropped a burger and within two minutes it was all cleaned up and was given another burger.

Burger place that started up and Queensland that's has expanded to Melbourne's CBD. The service setup needs some work: you have to wait to be seated, but then have to walk up to the counter to order, meaning your table can be taken if you're by yourself. You then get a buzzer and have to pick your order up, and if you order a concrete at the same time you either have to wave down one of the staff on the floor or again go up to get it later (that's if you don't want it melted by the time you finish your burger. The food on the other is pretty good, the Betty Classic (with bacon and pickles) was tasty although way too much lettuce for my liking. That smashed patty had a great crust on it making it the star of the burger, and it definitely benefitted from the added bacon and pickles. I also had the lemon raspberry cheesecake concrete which was top notch, great flavours, with bit of fruit, bits of biscuit crunch swirled with raspberry sauce and vanilla custard, the perfect after burger accompaniment! Maybe a bit over priced but I'd definitely go again.

Betty's Classic Stack - 被服務生形容的非常大 我一個女生似乎吃不完的樣子, 但是實品也還好(笑) Brioche麵包很軟 奶香味很濃, 裡面有不同的起司所以超會牽絲 吃起來效果滿分! 整個漢堡裡我最喜歡的是炸蘑菇 它讓口感跟味道更加的有層次！唯一的小缺點是理當是主角的肉餅跟其他我吃過的漢堡比起來偏薄 所以當它一個漢堡裡有這麼多元素的時候就有點吃不出肉的感覺。
French fries - 很普通的薯條 感覺自己在家裡炸都比較好吃
整體下來不差 但是覺得有其他更好吃的店家
Every time I walk pass Betty's, the soft pastel theme triggers my inner unicorn princess soul. The shop just look SO adorable! Gahh!
Betty's Classic Stack - It wasn't as gigantic as I thought it'd be but definitely a decent portion. The different kinds of cheese makes it melty and stringy which was very photo-worthy, brioche bun was soft, fluffy and buttery. My favourite element from the burger has got to be the mushroom party, it is seasoned well and adds a great texture to each bite. One thing which I thought could've been better was the meat patty, it is quite thin compare some of the burgers I've tried so it kind of got lost in all the other elements of the burger.
Ordinary french fries, the sriracha mayo has a surprise little kick to it which was quite nice.
Overall not a bad experience but wouldn't rush back.
My partner and I love Betty's. We are originally from Queensland and first visited their original Noosa joint about 18 months ago and have since been to their surfers paradise one also. We have been itching to get to the city one since it opened and it didn't disappoint. Just classic, good old fashioned burgers. My favourite is the chicken and my partners is the beef. Also we had this super nice American staff member come make sure everything was good and he was just a genuinely nice guy - he's a keeper! Overall if you haven't tried Betty's burgers you haven't lived ✌🏻

Seriously impressed with the customer service. I walk purposely up as a single diner, im welcomed at the door and server is friendly & informs me about process and menu. Then directed to line where another friendly and informative server is able to answer questions and keep eye on line. Ordered Betty's burger and a peanut brittle 'concrete' (frozen custard extra thick , it might as well be ice cream). The cashier advises I can have my concrete as dessert later just by asking a server for help. Grab a buzzer and, as the second server had already pointed out, a spot up the front looking out at Elizabeth St. Very quick time to burger ready & I go grab and it and sit back down again. Burger is quite small but tasty enough containing a large,fresh lettuce leaf, chopped up onions and nice patty and sauce! No chips & just a water to save room for dessert. Enjoy the view whilst eating & attentive server is quick (but not too quick) to ask if I'm done which gives me opportunity to ask for the dessert which is brought out quickly too. Good serving size, not too big, with whipped cream on top! And server grabs that when I'm done too. Overall food is above average (although burger joints are so plentiful it's tough to be super wowed anymore) and service was fantastic, will go back.
DO: Any of the burgers. As it was my first (definitely not my last time), I ordered the original Betty's Classic.
DON'T: Forget the fries! They were really yummy with the perfect amount of salt and crunch. The concretes i.e. Ice cream was a great way to finish off. I ordered the peanut brittle as that seemed to be the most popular and was recommended by the friendly staff.
TIP: Gets a little busy during lunch and after work. Expect a little wait but not too long.
Bit of a long wait during rush hour but such a cute place to eat ! Burger was tasty and brioche bun was much appreciate ! Will definitely be going back here!

Quite a long queue at lunch where they give you the menu before you get a seat to speed up the process. Nice interior and twilight lighting. All is good except the chairs are kind of unstable.

Onion rings and chips look hand made and Crispy batter.
Spiced pecan and banana cream pudding. Soft custard with a hard layer of icecream at the bottom. Sweet and crispy.
Burger in this place taste good. Ordered the pork belly burger which looks quite special to me. Wait was not too bad, only a couple of minutes. However the way they manage the table and seat is a mess, very confusing...go to counter to order first then go back to the waitress to ask which table to go to...besides the big chairs have made it difficult to squeeze your self in if you are sitting in a table right next to the wall. However this is still a lovely place, given that I like their burgers I will still come back. But probably take away only.

It's cute little venue with an American dinner style that set the mood for burger and fries.
The staff is really friendly.
On the downside: the burgers (Betty's classic & the crispy chicken) look good but taste average (no much flavour in the burger and the bun is more a brioche).
On the upside: We had a vanilla and a chocolate peanut butter thick shakes... that tasted great! Just the right size to not get sick.
I LOVED the decor and food packaging! So cute and inviting.
Now, to the food. I ordered a classic burger with chips and peanut butter milkshake.
Pros:
- Well priced
- Lots of flavour
- Shake was super delicious, and whilst it seems small, it's so rich you wouldn't want it any bigger.
- Friendly and helpful service
- Plenty of seating (I went at 12 noon on Sunday)
- Brioche bun
- French fries (I know this isn't everyone's preference but I prefer the skinny fries :b)
Cons:
- Burger was quite messy to eat due to soft bun and lots of sauce. Could easily be fixed by doing what 'Mr Burger' do and putting foil on half of burger to hold.
- Food, especially chips, were a bit on the salty side. But, I am one who prefers very little salt.
- Patty was too oily.
There burgers are very comparable to Mr Burger, but if I had a choice, I would go Mr Burger based purely on the fact that Betty's were just too oily for me.

Was so excited to find out when Betty's was coming to Melbourne after visiting the Noosa one!
When we came here we were greeted by the same style of service, go to the bar order and then pick up when vibrate. The staff if they weren't busy were picking up the machines when vibrating and collect the order which I must say is a big +.
Overall the food was a bit lackluster in delivery due to the burger being very sloppy and chips being very under seasoned. W
BUT MAAAATE, the milkshakes from this place... the reason we fell in love with Betty's. If you ever want a 10/10 milkshake go here and you will not be disappointedWe'll try again for food after a couple more months so they can't work out their kinks.
Amazing. Best Burgers in Melbourne with out a doubt and I have eaten them all. Stacks, 8bit, Burger Project don't compare. The service from the young friendly staff, ambiance and food quality all top notch. Well done Betty's you have a winner.
[LUNCH CRAWL] 2016 was clearly another rock solid year for the humble beef batty between two buns whether it’s brioche, sesame seeded or a donut! (who am I to judge your ridiculously awesome life choices?). I’m super hyped to end with Betty’s Burgers as my last post for the year while everyone else is too busy with family and friends enjoying food to even write one word about food!
I am SO happy that Betty's has finally opened in Melbourne. After visiting Noosa and going to Betty's three times in a week, then going to their restaurant on the Gold Coast, I've been hanging out for them to open in Melbourne. It doesn't disappoint! Their chicken burgers are my favourite ever. Delicious fried chicken, cooked perfectly, crispy lettuce, tasty bun. So good! Chips are good too. I think it's good value for a delicious burger. Drinks are maybe a bit overpriced. Same decor as their Noosa restaurant - very cool. Crazy busy, so go early if you don't want to wait for a table. Very happy!
Betty's burger was amazing. We had the classic burger with beef patty, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes but no onions - personale preference. At first I was not impressed, but two bites in, I was in love. Even considered having a second burger. Good fries aswell. Definetely coming back!

Such a cute little place that reminds me of American diners. Even the youngster waitresses have their own diner get ups. Such a cute place to hang out for all the cool kids out there. The burger was pretty tasty on a brioche bun. I suggest that you just eat it there and then rather than a takeaway as it seems to be those buns that get soggy easily. Chips and milkshake are pretty average.

Came here to try Betty's burgers for the first time and it was pretty decent in terms of taste! Buns are soft, meat is juicy, fillings were fresh, and 'Betty's special sauce' tied the burgers together! Onion rings were also pretty decent, however the burgers here are much smaller compared to other burger places such as 8Bit and Mr Burger!

Staff: Reading the negative reviews i was a little concerned but it seems that they have taken it as constructive criticism. The staff were all friendly, one welcomed us in at the door, the girl who took my order even apologized for the bubbles not going down fast enough as i had to wait for my drink. The guy who was tidying up did so with a smile and cleared our empty burger boxes.
Food: The burger was good quality, i got the Betty's classic with bacon. The bacon was cooked really well, the ratio of all the fillings and sauces were perfect. The meat was a little greasy but perfect for the burger and not overwhelming. Chips were standard but worked well with the burger. Also had a strawberry thick shake which went down a treat. My partner had the Shroom burger and really liked it too.
The only criticism i really have is, when i asked for chips the cashier asked "What sauce would you like with them?". I took that as meaning that sauce comes with the chips, however she charged me $2 extra which I thought was really sneaky. I could have been an accident on her part, but the question should really imply that i would be charged for the sauce.
All in all not the best burger i have ever had, but i would definitely eat there again!

It's no secret that Melbourne loves its burgers, and they're so hot right now. Being American we love the classics like burgers and fries and so were delighted to check out the latest burger bar, located two blocks from the office, this is dangerous!. From Noosa comes Betty's Burgers & Concrete Co. the first location outside of Queensland (Melbourne first, Sydney second :P) offering a similar menu as Royal Stacks, which arrived in Melbourne before Betty, though Betty first opened up shop before Royal in Noosa, and since then is traveling down the coast.
Betty's Burgers left a terrible first impression where the counter staff lacked warmth in her service and wasn't able to explain their products. Thankfully as a burger joint, this can be saved by the delicious Classic Stack burger with the Angus beef patty and the usual plus a crisp battered mushroom filled with Gruyere and Gouda in between a soft and buttery burger bun. The burger was absolutely tasty with a good bun to burger to other (ie. sauce and veggie) ratio, and was overall really happy with the meal! Food saved the service, in this case. I'll definitely come back for a casual yet sinful meal. I couldn't think of any other elements in this burger that could do better!

Before the review of the food, the service here waa strange. The staff were friendly and attentive but the way the system works for customers is just not working.
You entre the shop and are asked to wait to be seated. Someone comes up and gives you a table and some menus and you are expected to go to the counter to order. After ordering you get a buzzer to take back to your table and wait for your food to be called. The problem is that as you go up to the register to order, staff give your table to another customer. It would be much more efficient for the customer if they went to the register before getting a table.
Anyway, the food was lovely. The texture and feel of the burger reminded me of Mr Burger as the burgers themselves aren't as big, sloppy to eat eat and not very filling. The fries weren't salted enough and tasted a little like dried out little bits of carboard. The vanilla thickshake tasted like sweet cake batter or a nice vanilla sweet cake! An interesting and unexpected taste as we were expecting a more standard vanilla syrup flavour.
My favourite burger place in Melbourne at the moment. The fit out of the store is also extremely beautiful. My favourite burger to date is the fried chicken one. Soo crispy and flavourful.

I can't wait to return to Betty's after my first experience dining there this past Wednesday. I ordered the Betty's Classic Deluxe burger, which was absolutely amazing! The price was reasonable, the ingredients fresh, meat patty and bacon cooked to perfection. The cheese and sauce were incredible, but the standout part of the burger had to be the buns which were so soft and fluffy, and had a sheen to them without being oily. The fries were enjoyable too, not too crispy or oily but with just the right crunch. Went well with tomato sauce on the side. Service at the counter was really lovely, the arrival of our meals was prompt, and it was nice to be greeted at the door. Additionally, it was a nice change to collect my own food from the kitchen counter rather than be served by wait staff. On another note, I loved the décor! I felt transported to a retro beachside burger shack. The only thing I could suggest is that they provide water and refills, as when I asked for water with my meal I only got a small plastic cup full. That being said, it was nicely chilled and had ice, so I can't make too many complaints there. This has to be the best dine-in burger experience I've ever had! Would absolutely recommend this establishment for couples or small groups.

Words can't explain the orgasm I had in my mouth~!!! I will suggest to go during off peak times. The queue can get really long. The service staff is really friendly and helpful. It was ok. The bun reminds me of the sweat buns you get in those Chinese beadtop chains. Not a fan. I had the works burger. It was nice. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back there, but it was nice to try. Nice decor and good customer service. There was a bug in my wife's burger.. one of those little fly things that seem to like lettus. We told the waitress who apologiesed. Burger was taken away. Another burger was brought out.

The location of Betty’s Burgers and Concrete Co. in the Melbourne CBD is just …what is it the kids all say – TOTES CRAY CRAY. It’s busy, action-packed. You don’t get much more central and accessible than the corner of Elizabeth and Collins. Wear some headphones and tactfully avoid the inevitable approach from a charity worker. You have business to attend to – burger eating business*.
First had Betty's in Noosa about a year ago and Melbourne definitely didn't disappoint. Very friendly and helpful staff made the experience even better.

Saw this place while walking down Elizabeth st & thought to go inside cause of the urban Brooklyn style ambiance. It has a urban Brooklyn style surf cabin interior. We ordered mushroom burger was really good. Juicy mushroom with bit of mayo & lettuce matches perfect. Tiny bit pricier & many stuff just running around but from ordering to picking up food everything self service. They also got this ice cream with toppings mix called concrete. More of pricy end considering what they offer & limited service. Overall considering all mentioned above = gives an overall rating of 3.7*
Betty’s Burgers & Concrete Co. already has a few fans in Melbourne, we snuck in early one weekday but I wandered past yesterday and they were queuing out of the door! Hailing from sunny Noosa Betty’s has a lovely vibe, fresh, colourful and a great menu. We were in for opening so had the place to ourselves, strangely all of the tables had reserved signs but we were welcome to sit anywhere…. why the reserved signs?? It was lovely and quiet, there were a lot of staff waiting for the onslaught so we were well tended too. Odd kid came in and had to sit directly next to us and block the aisle (you can sit anywhere in the whole place!!) but he wasn’t stopping me getting burgers!!
Had the chicken and also pork belly burger here and they were bomb. The chicken was a crispy well crumbed tender fillet and I hear the pork belly was generous and well cooked too. Burger buns were soft but adequately toasted & buttered nicely. Reminded me of Shake Shack and that's a good thing. The fries were really good too, well seasoned and SKIN ON which is awesome as it's less processed but without compromising on taste and quality. The thick shakes were, as promised = THICK!
Onion rings were tasty but abit let down as they were burnt slightly but can be forgiven because service was very good. Will 100% be back as long as they keep up the good work!
As a bit of a burger maven, I was keen to check this place out when it popped up on my radar.
So far so good - my first impressions were that the beef patty had crispness but succulence, the bacon was perfectly cooked and the cheese & sauces were not overpowering (albeit plentiful and sog-inducing for the bun).
I've heard good things about the chicken so I'll be sure to try that next, the pricing is adequate for base burgers but extras are a little pricey.

I enjoyed this place. 5 bucks seemed a little steep for adding pickles and bacon but the quality is there. I also added chicken which is 5 bucks as well but definitely worth it. The patties tasted good. The fried chicken however was outstanding and will definitely be having that on every visit from now on!
Went to go here one lunchtime but line was out the door so went early one day. The staff are nice and friendly when you enter. There burger was really good up there with 8bit but paying for extras that should be in a burger is bit much. Also $2 for sauce is a bit of a rip especially when the girl you order from asks what sauce you not telling you that its not free. The chips were average chips.

Went to Betty's due to a friends Reccomendation. Amazing place with great food and aesthetics. I had the crispy chicken burger, french fries with special house made sauce and a stunner choco thickshake!! chicken was amazingly tender and juicy yet crispy and the sauce and thickshake were both well made and delicious. what made my stay at Betty's an unforgettable one was the effort put into the customer service. As I entered Betty's I was greeted by a young asian waitress with nice short hair, she chucked on a cute smile and kindly assisted me with the menu. Listening to her advice and reccos i was a bit skeptical due to it being my first time, however by trusting her words i didnt regret my eat here. 11/10 would come back again.
[LUNCH CRAWL] 2016 was clearly another rock solid year for the humble beef batty between two buns whether it’s brioche, sesame seeded or a donut! (who am I to judge your ridiculously awesome life choices?). I’m super hyped to end with Betty’s Burgers as my last post for the year while everyone else is too busy with family and friends enjoying food to even write one word about food!
Let's end 2016 with a big burger bang. Bring on 2017!
So far the best burger I've had in Australia! Friendly staff, amazing food, the burgers were delicious. I got the Betty Classic, the beef was juicy and flavourful just how you want them, everything together just melts in your mouth. I'll be back soon for sure!
Ordered the peanut butter thick shake! Was really delicious! Wish I could've stayed and order more food but was running out of time! Would recommend a peanut butter thick shake if u want something sweet to drink when ure in the CBD!
Strategically located at the corner of Collins st and Elizabeth st. This place knows how to catch passer-by's attention with its bold and red signage. I had the crumbed mushroom burger since it is the only vegetarian burger available..in Melbourne? For real? Loved the texture and flavour of the mushroom but the Betty's special sauce was a bit off. The onion ring was on point. Crunchy and tasty
Just dined today at Betty's in Melbourne. I must say the one on the Gold Coast is better.
I had the crispy chicken which was juicy and crispy. My friend had the classic stack which she said was similar to shake shack in the states.
I didn't like the surcharge on a public holiday. I think it's a bit rich for a casual restaurant to charge that. Maybe it's because they employ 15 plus staff on these days to not do anything and they somehow have to pay for their wages.
We love Betty's Burgers! We were so excited when we found out it was opening in Melbourne, these are some of Queensland's Best Ever Burgers Melburians! Betty's is a must, super funky decor and chilled vibe just like the one in Surfers Paradise. The staff are friendly and service is quick! The burgers are amazing, Betty's buns are perfect, so soft and fresh! All the ingredients in the burger taste fresh and delicious!
TIP: Do order Fries & a Shake. Don't forget to try the Crispy Chicken Burger or the Betty's Classic- both are so juicy & mouthwatering!
Absolutely amazing presentation and taste. If you're a burger lover in Melbourne this place has to be on your bucket list. The food was affordable and was of great quality. The staff are very helpful and knew where all the different meats originated from. I will 100% be returning to betty's and i highly recommend a visit.
Best burgers!! Fun and clean ambience, burgers are juicy. This place wins over the competition. My new fav. The ambience is fantastic and it's licensed. The concretes are a true revelation. It's simple and scrumptious
Had the fried chicken burger. Perfect. Couldn't fault it. Can't wait to destroy my lactose intolerant innards with one of the concrete mixers soon.
Great to see Betty now in Melbourne. Loved her in Noosa and will be visiting here regularly. Their burgers are some of the best i've had in Australia!
After loving the Noosa place, was so exciting to hear that they were in Melbourne. Went the day I found out!!
Superb, taste just as good as the Noosa version. Juicy, full of flavour, great sauce, great fries. Perfect.
Bigger size restaurant than the Noosa version which is just as well because this is going to be pretty damn popular. Well it is already.
The concrete desserts elevate it above the other burger places in Melbourne.

Great attitude from all the staff. Bit of a weird seating and ordering system but maybe that's just at very busy times. Good value food really enjoyed by both our 4 and 6 year old. Sides far too salty. Food not all hot, but quickly replaced by friendly waiter with no problems. Wine glass fill levels a bit random. Chairs an odd shape, so it's definitely for a quick eat and not hanging around. On balance, excellent, good value food, energetic staff and our kids loved it. We'll be back.
I ordered Betty's classic with Bacon. Burger patty was amazing and bacon was crispy and the presentation was amazing.
The french fries with sriracha mayo were delicious, it is not often that a great burger is paired with great fries.
The location is excellent, close to public transport and central to many of my daily activities. Plenty of seating and wide open windows to allow the summer air in. The staff were attentive and helpful.
I look forward to becoming a regular at this location.
Absolutely devoured my burger, would definitely go again with friends and try the others. Highly recommend the succulent, juicy burgers even matt Preston would be proud of, 100% masterchef material. The buns are soft and the best bread I have ever tasted in my life. Even manu would be proud of the special sauce in these crakalakin burgers. Fantastic atmosphere inside, love the decor and vibes of the place. The staff are always on their feet ready to help which is GREAT. My concrete was so delicious
We are big Betty's Burgers fans and we're super happy to visit their latest location in Melbourne.
They burgers tasted just as we remembered from our last visit in the Gold Coast. The Chocolate thick shake was so good. The special sauce is so good and definitely finished off the burger.
Only thing that lets this location down is the size of the restaurant. It felt slightly cramped, but they were probably slightly overstaffed with the grand opening and that didn't help.
Can't wait to see a Betty's in Perth one day!
I'm a Betty's Burgers fan since trying out the one in Noosa! Had the Pork Belly burger today and loved it. Crispy and sizeable meaty pork pieces, good flavour.
Normally I get the classic beef burgers but wanted to give this one a crack. Will come back for the beef burger in Melbourne!!! Yet to try the shakes.
Thin potato fries were fried well, crispy. Good but not my favourite. I'm a chip freak though.
Service was great and opening day seemed to run smoothly. They brought down plenty of staff from Noosa to help with the operations. Young spruiker outside knew his stuff when I enquired about other locations. Well done on a great grand opening.
Definitely a go to place for burgers. Nice atmosphere and service was friendly too. Price wise reasonable. Beef deluxe was amazing. Crispy chicken burger could have been better if they had a bit of seasoning in the batter. Chips and onion rings were good too. My favorite was the beef burger.
Would definitely recommend for quick and good meal.
Good ambience. Amazing patties. The only thing they can improve upon is their bun. It got soggy pretty quickly. Even tough the amazing patties and the sauces managed to make the burger still taste good. But a better bun would take this burger to the next level.
Really nice American styled burgers. Great Staff and service, super friendly and nice. I even forgot my phone inside and they rushed outside with it following me😂.
I would take care more of cleaning tho the toilets were very dirty and so was some part of the kitchen. Overall enjoyed it.

The bun was a bit flat and soft before managed to get halfway through it, though still tasted good.
The young lady taking the order didn’t have a clue about the burgers. On question, and after careful review of the menu; apparently the difference between the deluxe and the double is you get two of everything -not bad at $1 price difference (she could have been working at the Kwik-E-Mart for all she knew)

Really solid CBD burger joint, love the tunes and atmosphere inside the venue especially. The service is super quick with a deli style pickup from the counter system.
Love the buns the smash style patty’s are wrapped in, the fries are also particularly great, I think keeping the skins on really adds to the flavour and uniqueness.
The special Betty’s sauce is a also an awesome take on the familiar “special burger sauce” were all familiar with.
Been here a few times. The burgers are good with crispy bacon and fresh salad inside. Not a big fan of their fries and thick cut chips. Concretes are also nice, but nothing too special. Overall, good for occasional dine-in.
