I booked a table for 2 at Eureka 89 on Friday the 8th June for my wife’s birthday (her first birthday being married) and I must say it was a great choice!
They gave us the best table as requested with a 180 view of the Melbourne city. We did the 7 course degustation menu spread over a 3 hour duration. We felt very relaxed and not rushed even the slightest. All the courses were very enjoyable but my personal favourite was the beetroot one, given I’m not a big fan of beetroot I was very surprised how good it tasted! Compliments to the chef 👍 They also made a note to write happy birthday on my wife’s dessert plate which finished our night on a very sweet note. Seeing her leave the restaurant so happy and spoilt made my night. So thank you Eureka 89 for an amazing dining experience!
I would like to mention our awesome waitress (forgot to ask her name) she is blond and I think from Scotland, she was very friendly, polite and engaging. She also got the bar person make me a special cocktail on my request. Thank you for looking after us! 😊

We took visiting friends to Eureka Restaurant for the 7 course degustation dinner on Wed night ... it was sensational!! Amazing views, absolutely delicious food, outstanding service & really friendly staff. Not at all pretentious, just really classy & delightful. Couldn't recommend the experience enough! Thank you for a wonderful night.
We've been trying to dine here for the last 4 years and to finally get a table was just amazing. Did not disappoint. The meal were sensational and very tasty and great view to match
We went here for dinner. Food was delicious. We had the 5 course menu. The kitchen was able to cater to my dietary requirements being dairy and gluten free. Staff were friendly and professional. Great atmosphere and of course the view was amazing! Will definitely be back.
What an amazing evening. My Workplace held a celebration here. It's one of those rare great places where both a great view and food is served. Can't wait to visit this place again on Friday 13th�.
I was taken here for my birthday, had the 5 course meal, what can I say the food was absolutely delicious, the view was amazing, the staff were very friendly and the service was outstanding. Will definitely be coming back 😊
My boyfriend surprised me with a beautiful night out in the city for my 21st birthday. I was amazed to find out that we would be having dinner at the Eureka tower. What a spectacular night. From the stunning panoramic views of Melbourne to the mouth watering 7 courses, follwed with phenomenal service from all staff, made for an unforgettable night. This was such a memorable experience that everyone needs to check out. Highly recommend Eureka 89 restaurant!
Truly exceptional food and service. The staff are lovely personable people who go out of their way to make your experience special. As a vegetarian I can only say it was the most superb vegetarian food I have ever eaten at a restaurant!! Really impressive night...and those views! Wow!! ❤️
Could not fault our experience here, from being welcomed at the door like royalty, to the fantastic, friendly table service and food, our special night (30th anniversary) was made all the more special by our 7 course dinner here. Will definitely be back!
I was lucky enough to be taken there for my birthday. Had a great experience! Everyone was very friendly and accomodating! I requested a Bloody Mary (I was slightly hungover) and they didn't have any in the bar... but instead of saying "sorry we have ran out", they went out especially to make it happen! Worth the wait the Bloody Mary was bloody awesome. Best I've had in Melbourne and believe me when I say I've had a lot of these..... I'm an expert. A really great dining experience too. We grabbed the wine and food package and it was really well paired. Food was amazing and the wine was to die for. All of that plus an amazing view of the City. So worth the $$. Thank you for some great memories

Such a wonderful experience!
From the moment we arrived all the staff were so lovely to us and completely on top of anything we could possibly need.
We had the 7 course chefs tasting menu and I had the wine pairing with it, which was so lovely! The courses were well thought out and carefully curated to match the pairings perfectly! Although we are in a covid world and managing the supply chain is impossible, I really loved tasting and hearing about the Victorian sourced wines (I might have to visit the wineries too!). They were even able to swap out a certain dish due to dietary requirements and pair another wine with the new dish!
I have to say, Christine was such a lovely server, very kind and attentive to anything we could possibly need - she even treated us to some lovely macaroons her boyfriend makes!! Christine, if you're reading this, thank you so much for making my belated birthday so special! It was truely an experience I will never forget!!
LOCATION
The location is amazing and the view from here is absolutely spectacular.
FOOD
We chose a 7 course chef’s testing menu.
The food was delicious and they have a good option for vegetarian.
I suggest the staff to keep the food hot because two of my dishes were cold and you don’t expect this from the fine dining restaurant.
The 7th meal was a dish with cheese, nuts and grapes and we didn’t appreciate, not what you really expect in this kind of restaurant.
SERVICE
The staff was friendly, Chloe was very kind and we appreciated the dessert with wishes for our wedding anniversary.
When it comes to a special event, Eureka 89 is always a wonderful place to celebrate at! It is one of our favorite restaurants. The City Skyline views are absolutely spectacular. The food is beautifully presented and very delicious. Also importantly, the service was excellent, which we remember very fondly. My recent birthday celebration at Eureka 89 was very memorable and we were so fortunate to have Christine look after us in a professional and friendly manner. This made our experience special. We did not expect anything special, but Christine offered us a special complimentary dessert wine to celebrate my birthday at the end. What a perfect night to cherish. Eureka 89 is highly recommended to dine at as it always leaves us with great memories. We are looking forward for our next visit.
We celebrated our anniversary here and it was SO fine!!! The views are lush, the lighting is perfect, the staff are appropriately wonder and the food is AMAZING! Spoil yourself and get the paired wines too, you won’t regret it. A wonderful and memorable experience to treasure. P.S. Thanks Marco for being the best waiter ever! 😊❤️🙏
One of the best dining experiences I have ever had, especially as a long-term foodie! Both the food and service was phenomenal; the waiters were so kind and genuine, the main course melted into our mouths, the views were stunning and the ambience was extraordinary. Christine was such an amazing supervisor, being aware that it was my boyfriends birthday, she went out of her way to provide us with the best experience. We did not expect the complimentary dessert wine and a lovely birthday message on the dessert! Would definitely come again and try out the 7 course as we went on a Sunday :)
Came here for dinner and it is one of the best dinings experience in Melbourne so far for me. The view is magnificent, the food is tremendous and we had Karen for our table server. She is so nice and so calm, she has taken a good care for our table. The Team customer service here also the nicest team I have ever seen. If you have chance, give Eureka 89 a try because it is a must.
Food was great. The view was exceptional. Love all the cocktails and wines. At first I didn’t think it was gonna be filling with their food, but I was totally wrong!! By the end of 7 courses you will be very full. Staff were not that knowledgeable with the food when I asked about it- but that’s okay. They are very attentive and friendly. It was a really great experience, highly recommended!
Had a wonderful time at Eureka 89 with the 7 course degustation. It was absolutely art in the mouth how they balanced flavours and textures, let alone the visual art with how they plated the dishes. The spanner was a nice fresh option to start. The second dish, a celeriac with foam, I thought was going to be difficult to beat, but the lobster bisque with the cod was divine and both the quail and beef dishes just got better the further into the dish you ate. The dessert was creative and delicious. Jazzy, our server, was attentive and lovely. While appreciating the different approaches other restaurants in Melbourne take on degustations, personally I appreciate Eureka 89’s the most.
