Great friendly & attentive staff and the B E S T food! High end quality ingredients that didn't reflect in the very reasonable prices. I love that all involved are directly supporting great causes.

Unexpectedly found this gem with my daughter after wandering across the road from Southern Cross Station. A friendly greeting at the door was welcoming and were directed to a table straight away. The breakfast menu was just drool worthy, but finally made our choices and we certainly were not disappointed! One of the best breakfasts I've had the pleasure of enjoying for a long time! Everything was delicious, looked amazing and pleasant sized servings. We are a two hour train trip away but look forward to our next visit. Highly recommend.

I chose the risotto of the day which was beetroot, blue cheese, pear and walnut. I’m still full and I’m still in awe of it three hours later...I will be back!!! For anyone around, definitely pop into this little gem 💎

This is a great cafe on Bourke St near Southern Cross Station. This cafe is run by volunteers who get work experience here, which is a great concept in my mind.

I ordered a strong skinny latte and it was good, but missing some milk froth so it was more of a flat white. But the coffee had a nice flavour.

The service was excellent, friendly and happy. My next visit will be for lunch as the place was packed and every time I’ve been there the place has been packed w diners.

I’ve been missing out lol. This place is definitely worth a visit.

I love the concept at Kinfolk. We headed in on a whim, just before we were due to leave Melbourne. We both ordered a coffee each that was really well made. My partner ordered a Croque Misure which had the perfect amount of cheese. I ordered a toastie that was served with a fried egg. I really loved that it came with the egg. The service was really friendly and the food delicious. I would love to pop back the next time I'm in Melbourne.

The cafe were located near from the tram stop. And it was kinda a hip place so u will notice once you’re there.

Everytime I passed by, this place is always full. But finally I got myself in, and oh my goddddddd, I’m a big fan for their hot chocolate!

Something different with their chocolate I guess. And it’s realllyyyy good!! Bravo for Kinfolk!

Cosy little not-for-profit cafe on the corner of Spencer & Collins serving really delicious seasonal food that is wholesome, honest and really just makes you feel good while eating it! They are committed to buying locally and organic where possible and I really admire their commitment to sustainable food practices across their supply chain.

They’re a bit far from me now for my daily coffee but I still love coming here for the occasional lunch. On my most recent visit we had the beetroot risotto, vege curry and mushroom pasta. All dishes were reasonably priced from $10-$15 and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend popping in for your coffee or lunch!

This cafe gets pretty busy during lunch hours and I can certainly see why. My friend and I came for a quick lunch and I was keen to try almost everything on the menu. What I ended up with was the mushroom risotto from the specials board.
The serving size of the risotto was quite big- more than enough to sustain me through the rest of my working day. And as for the taste, I thought it was flavoured nicely, although I would have preferred the rice to be a little more softer and fluffier.
Will definitely be back soon to try the other dishes.

I always enjoy eating at a "cafe with a cause" and this was no exception. Kinfolk is a volunteer-run non-profit that doesn't skimp on the quality of their dishes. I tried the veg curry of the day (full of cauliflower and potato) and my friend had the chicken curry. Mine was beautifully spiced and full of flavour, as was my friend's. I wish mine had contained protein of some sort and he wished his had been larger for the $18 price tag, but we were still generally satisfied. At least he got roti, which I was profoundly jealous of.

Been passing this cafe for years but never got around to trying it - finally tried it today! It's got a nice warm ambiance inside, with a woody decor which I always appreciate. Friendly service too!
Had a soy cappuccino and was glad they got the texture right. The coconut quinoa porridge was just the right level of sweet and filling. Will come back for the other dishes!

😱Lizzie’s first impression: Kinfolk is a non for profit cafe that gives back to the community. I think this is really rare and is very special to the CBD.

🍩Lizzie enjoyed: I had the salad and it was actually delicious - it had beans and pumpkin and some quinoa. The risotto that I tried was also quite yummy and decently priced. They use local produces so all their products are chosen with care. Their hot chocolates are by mork and is made with 70% cocoa.

🍅Lizzie did not enjoy: it is absolutely busy in the mornings so its hard to hear the person next to you - but if its just about food, then by all means come for a visit!

🥇Lizzie rates overall: love what they do and I try to come back very often to support.

Cute, cosy little cafe right near Southern Cross Station that doesn’t disappoint.

A great varied menu made with locally sourced produce (that even comes with some heavenly vegan options) and changes seasonally.

I’ve been twice now and had delicious meals and coffee both times. This time we had the smashed avo and a toasted sandwich with some coffees after hopping off a long bus ride and we couldn’t fault a thing.

Extra bonus points for the fact that the staff are volunteers and their profits go to charity! Definitely recommend!

Very nice coffee shop in the heart of city
Visited at lunch time, quite busy but we still have nice seat to enjoy the atmosphere.
Staff are nice, friendly.
My latte and flat white is just normal, not so good. The flat white is not enough milk foam and the iced latte is a bit watery.
We ordered toast with homemade peanut butter and pesto spaghetty, the spaghetty was awsome, yummy!

We came around lunch time and were given a small menu with around 3-4 main dishes to order from. I don't remember the name of the dish i ordered but i would totally recommend it. My first thought was this dish tasted quite plain. I usually eat all the parts i like first and then pick around my food. I soon realized combining the lemon cured salmon, kimchi and tofu together tasted so much better together! The dish is like a weird combination of asian food like tofu and kimchi with brunch items like salmon and avocado. Overall I enjoyed it, unique I’d say

Great little coffee shop, it served up some strong latte which was pretty great, we also had The Big Cheese which includes two slices of sourdough grilled with smoked mozzarella & a side of housemade chili.. I love chili paste, initially I couldn’t really imagine bread and chili but it turned out that it was a great combo.. the fantastic thing about this place is that it is run by volunteers..

Profits made go to charity. That's the premise behind this cafe which fortunately does some great food. A thing to note is that their breakfast items do not flow into their lunch time and that their menu is heavily focused on vegetarian/vegan items. It's hard to get my attention when meat isn't involved.

That being said, I did get away with a sprinkle of maple bacon on my pesto pasta. Fabulous, the pasta had a lovely bite to it and was heavy on the pesto and olive oil.

The latte was strong with some bitterness coming through as a result of that. Thank God I didn't get a double, it was fine as is.

Staff were friendly and being volunteers I take my hat off to them, they are doing a tremendous job.

Even though there are construction in front of the cafe, it doesn’t effect its popularity.
The place was small and cozy with super friendly staff and nice service.
Except regular brunch items on the menu, there are some special dishes on the blackboard and they change daily. Coffee was good here, I especially enjoyed the soy chai latte with thick airy foam and smooth silky taste.
#charcoal crepe#-thin charcoal crepe wrapped with smoked salmon, crispy kale, pumpkin, pesto and goat cheese. The crepe itself was really crispy and chewy. I loved the fragrant pesto and goat cheese combo but they were too salty and made the whole dish little too salty.

#Japanese vegetable curry#-mushroom and sweet potato curry served with brown rice, fried egg and ... the brown rice was cooked perfectly with soft texture but remained the nutty flavours. Not like Thai curry, Japanese tended to have hint of sweetness and mild spicy level. It was a simply but very heart warming dish.

Great social enterprise concept. Works on both levels, ie as an altruistic social enterprise and as a very good cafe.

The decor is quirky and on trend. I chose the Thai red curry. This is a rustic and tasty dish that I enjoyed. A lovely meal on a cool late winter day. Good vegetables throughout. I particularly loved the beautifully cooked brown rice as well. This was a good dish

The world’s most beautiful woman had the mushroom toastie. She reported this very tasty but more of a red capsicum toastie with more of that than the promised mushroom. Again, she polished off the lot.

The coffees to finish were superb. The coffee here is of an excellent standard.

This is a good place. Food was good, coffee was good and the service was great too. This is a very sound option in this area for breakfast or lunch.

Great coffee, awesome breakfast. Kinfolk is very well known for their superb coffee so I won't rant on about it.
What I will say is that their breakfasts are absolutely delicious!
Tried the charcoal crepe and holy moly! What a flavour explosion. Verrry highly recommended dish.
So impressed with their innovative menu and their charming rustic interior. Such good vibes.
Kinfolk also staffs purely volunteers and inevitably a portion of your meal cost is donated to charity - now you can have your cake and feel pretty damn good about it too!

Taking into account it's a social enterprise cafe, run by volunteers - it's freaking amazing. If it was a commercial enterprise, I'd still enjoy it. I actually didn't know it was run by volunteers until I did some research afterwards. I just wanted a good lunch, and it delivered.

I had the parsnip risotto with boccocini, spiced cauliflower. It was so comforting. tasty and only $14. I was so full. I'll definitely be back, and I would highly recommend people come here for the good food, friendly service and the social enterprise.

I've only ever gone to Kinfolk for breakfast and coffee and both of those I have enjoyed. The cafe staffed by volunteers has a very Richmond vibe to it unlike many of the sterile CBD cafes around. Being staffed by volunteers does mean you need to compromise a little on service and wait times. I haven't experienced a problem for breakfast but have heard some comments from others in the office about the lunchtimes service times being longer than you would expect. Perhaps allow for that. Having said all this the food is very good and not your usual. About a month ago my work organised a team workshop/ bonding/ away day in a function room just above Kinfolk (through a seperate organisation). Kinfolk did the lunchtime catering and it was something special. Vibrant rolls of pesto chicken, roast vegetables and other fresh filled alternatives. Really delicious looking/tasting salads. Individual bottle fermented sparking pressed juice, delicious cakes and slices. Significant effort was also put in to catering for those with gluten and dairy intolerances so much so that some of the special dietary food looked more appealing which you seldom expect. I've been to a few of these away days now and the food can be a little bit blah blah but the Kinfolk catering had people energised and discussing which is the ideal mindset for people to have on such a day. Hats off the the folk at Kinfolk for their catering and their delicious morning brew.

The scaffolding outside the building couldn't mask the popularity of this much-loved spot. Staffed by volunteers with profits going back to charity, the place serves wholesome dishes making the most of seasonal ingredients.

I had their version of the Thai Green Curry today with eggplant, lentils, potato and coconut cream served on a bed of brown rice and a Pappadam. Simple but rich in aroma, taste and texture, this was a filling and satisfying dish. The hot chocolate was the kind I appreciate - not too sweet but energising for the tastebuds.

An eclectic staff of volunteers look after you in a setting with a vintage feel and interesting wall art, topped by very high ceilings. It's a place I return to again and again for a good experience.

Busy bustling place, recommend to go for early or late lunch, we went around 12 and just managed to get a table. Lots of staff so quick service. Ordered a smashed avo and a mushroom toastie. Quick service for how busy the restaurant was. The mushroom toastie was jam packed full of flavour, caramelised onions and Gruyere cheese, yum yum yum, I added a fried egg on top! After leaving discovered this place was non for profit! Great work guys, will come again when I’m in the area. The building itself had lots of character, you can see the space has been renovated but keeps a lot of the character from before, love it!

Kinfolk is a volunteer run cafe that serves some great organic dishes, what I love about Kinfolk is that they donate 100% of their profits to charity, so when you eat here, not only are you helping yourself, but you're helping others as well. Just a quick mention, it's been a fair amount of time in between when I dined here and am writing this review, and Kinfolk has currently re-done their menu so I believe the dishes I had during my visit are no longer avaliable. Nonetheless, I will continue with my experience at the time.

First time at Kinfolk but definitely not my last.

Location- Less than half a minute walk from Southern Cross Station. GREAT location.

Coffee- absolutely amazing. The filter coffee and the flat white, both as perfect as the other.

Service- Really lovely and friendly staff. Food was served super quickly. Also love going to places where staff have a smile on their face :)

Food- I honestly don’t think I have had better mushrooms before. Ever. Got the mushroom toastie and the smashed avo and they were both AMAZING! The smashed avo had poppy seeds in them and it changed the flavour a lot. Loved it.

I promised myself to try new places in 2018, but knowing Kinfolk is only a few minutes from work, I think I’ll break that promise sooner than I thought.

Fantastic Coffee, this accounts for the 4.0 score.  It's clearly staffed by volunteers, you do give some grace for this, but I wonder occasionally how much training they are actually getting as it's often quite disorganised.  This is a sit-in place aside from coffee otherwise you'll find the prices on the high side (e.g. $12 for t/away porridge or $8 for raisin toast). Lunch is better value although the risotto is generally undercooked, curry never has a lot of spice, soup can be hit and miss flavour wise.  Generally, I like this place and I love that they give $0.50 off a large coffee if you bring your own cup (and did I mention the coffee is great!). I love that the menu is generally on the healthy side. I love the social enterprise concept; I wish they'd cook their rice all the way to al dente and I've love it if they could be more consistent.. but hey.. I keep going back.

The food was great but the pasta and risotto that we had were a little too salty. Also keep in mind that there is construction happening outside the cafe at the moment so the outdoor seating isn't as pleasant. If coming on a sunny day in the afternoon, keep in mind that it may get uncomfortably sunny. Due to the construction, the umbrellas are awkwardly placed and don't offer much shade. Thankfully this is temporary.

I feel bad giving a 3.5, but if the food we had received hadn't been here, where I'm aware all the staff are volunteers and all money goes to charity, I would probably be giving a 2.5. Firstly they didn't have our table which we had booked, inside its extremely loud and cramped, we got sat at the "communal table" with 2 other groups. They mixed up our drinks. The food; the Banh mi came in a sourdough baguette which was disappointing and strange, the pumpkin pasta was way too salty, the curry was Ok, and the risotto was almost amazing!!! The flavours were absolutely beautiful, and the fried smoked cheese on top was to die for! But the rice was completely undercooked! I'm still glad I went from a social responsibility perspective but I think they need to review things a little. Cold pressed juice was delicious and prices quite cheap! If they could improve the food by raising prices I would say that would be a good idea!

Visited for a good cause.  The staff were very friendly, helped me to put my luggage in a safe spot.  But I was a little disappointed with the food.

If you are particular with your chai latte, then think twice before ordering it here.  Not that it's not nice, but it's very different, just very very different.  You can still tell it's chai, but just different (couldn't emphasise it enough).

Both my friend and I ordered the risotto on the special daily menu, and while I was deciding, the staff told me you can't go wrong with a risotto.  You can.  The flavour was very plain, I would say they should add more herbs (there were only red capsicum, a type of cheese, a type of herb, and avocado oil in it), but definitely add on the herbs.  The most annoying thing was, some of the rice in the risotto was not cooked...this was the second time I had not thoroughly cooked risotto.  The first time was when I was in HK and I thought it's because they are Asians...so then I did my research on Google and found that it's a common error to not have it cooked if it wasn't done properly.

But then I guess since all the staff are volunteers then you may have better luck when you visit?

Located on the less commercial end of Bourke Street short minutes from Southern Cross Station, this lovely cafe is easy to miss.
The ambiance is very warm and welcoming. With staff who are cheerful and friendly.
I had a salmon breakfast and chai latte. The dish was delicious. Sourdough slice was crispy and egg was poached to perfection. However, I felt the roasted potato strips were over-salted. Having the smoked salmon along with the potato was overpoweringly salty.
Overall, great food and service. Also, part of the proceeds made are donated to charity. :)

Cool venue, lovely brick building with heaps of vintage character. Firstly, great coffee, and judging by the never ending take away q after we were seated, many would agree. Had the egg special, loves the kale side on a breaky plate, should be done more often. Small portion but tasty, the cheese, egg, kale, sauce, toast and sausage were combining for some tasty mouthfuls. Only complaint would be the sausage being way too salty for the dish.

Bustling for good reason. I can rarely go past the risotto of the day. A smooth, richly reduced, full flavoured stock base makes for a truly comforting lunch experience. Always with the addition of textural topping surprises like cracked cacao; toasted walnuts; nettle or perfect little balls of teeny baby bocconcini. Gorgeously diverse in service but always with a warm welcome to a spare spot.

Came to Kinfolk for brunch with a Girlfriend last week, and ordered the coconut porridge while she ordered the matcha salad dish. Firstly, points for the beautiful food presentation. Every dish displayed poise and refinement. The coconut porridge I had was very rich and captivating, but a few bites in and my mind has changed. Sure, it was indeed full of flavour but it soon became overwhelming due to the strong aftertaste of coconut milk. I would not recommend the coconut porridge.

My friend's matcha dish was much better, in my opinion. There was a play in textures, with the apples and fresh coconut, followed by the silky smooth matcha goodness cradling them all.

Service was also great, despite being served by a new waitress. She was delightful, and her warm vibes definitely rubbed off on us.

All in all, I would come back to try the lunch menu someday.

Originally came in for just coffee but who could resist their tempting menu and inviting ambiance? I've heard about this place and now I know why. Beautiful menu, kind people and great service. They've given a whole new meaning to "mushroom toastie". I would love a non bread/grain option on the menu though to break up the days I don't feel like bread or grains, like a big veggie thingy (yes that's a technical term). Anyways everything was beautiful in here, great energy - except for the dude who was walking back to the kitchen at snail speed. He obviously hadn't had his second coffee yet :P

Came here for lunch on a weekday at around 1.30pm. It was very busy, but we managed to get a spot on the bench. Got recommended the light salad, but the waitress said that this might have to be combined with something else to be enough. I took half light half heavy salad. Flavours were lovely, it still wasn't really enough for my appetite though.  I didn't pay, but from what I can see from the menu it was $12. I suppose it would've been good to put it on a bigger plate :) The waitress warned me though, so can't blame them! The service was lovely and attentive, nothing to complain. Had a macchiato afterwards which I didn't like too much but hard to explain why. All and all I would definitely go back!

Kindred spirits. Another week, another impressive social enterprise. A social group l belong to needed a casual and inexpensive venue. With CBD travel no problem, we chose Kinfolk for 9 of us on the last work day of the year. A buzzing hub of activity, those who were new to the special K approach were completely sold on the delicious fare.

For less than $20 you get a small but excellent choice of soup, light or heavy salads, a risotto, a curry and sandwiches. My heavy barley and vegie salad came with a beautiful soft boiled egg with the option of smoked salmon - yes please. It was nothing short of magnificent but I've long been a fan of Kinfolk. The curry was both mellow and tasty, and the salmon dish, slightly over $20 but still very affordable, charmed two of the more seasoned food campaigners who have strong views about good food - and about juice in jam jars which are a feature of this place. My almond golden latte was my attempt to get in with the cool kids and was the best I've ever had anywhere.
Yes, Kinfolk is hipster cool, but also great value, with a captivating menu, magnetising art and eager volunteers wanting a hand up through hospitality. Although there was the occasional service slip up, this is hearty food with a real heart.

Kinfolk - I fall short of words to express my admiration for this place. Keeping the review purely objective, I would not go into the novel ways of using volunteers in the serving staff and other niceties. Located right next to the giant stairs of Southern Cross station, Kinfolk is a buzzing place to have a healthy and sumptuous lunch. Saffron Risotto and Lentil soup are two must try offerings of this humble yet charming feeder! );

One of my favourite places in the city! The food is always amazing, the coffee is great and the staff are fantastic! Super friendly! The prices are super reasonable and it's also for a good cause so it's a win-win!

Lovely place with a good range of vego/vegan dishes. Their service was great and their coffee was good. Would highly recommend the pumpkin and rocket toastie!

Lovely cafe located conveniently near Spencer station. They offer a lot of healthy and vegetarian dishes and pretty well priced. I love their grilled salmon w pouched egg, and risotto. Their new turmeric almond milk latte was pretty yummy, and it is caffeine free. But I still prefer my soy chai latte.

Excellent coffee (and cookie of course) for a quick morning bite. Didn't disappoint, just like last time I visited (albeit quite a while back). Keep up the good work guys, especially the charities you support!

Risotto looked sooooo beautiful! Even though tasted bland. Menu was quite simple, there were not many choices. But I do like cafes with millions kinds of brunch to choose from.

I was looking forward to a really good breakfast but the only thing that I really enjoyed was the thick cut maple bacon. Other than that, there's nothing special. I feel that this is a place for coffee lovers.

Loved the idea of this cafe! Has amazing soulful hearty food at great portions and prices. Amazing tea selection they have on offer too.
I got the smashed avo on toast and even without eggs they were very filling. Had at least half an avo on it with very balanced dollops of goats cheese and asparagus. So YUM!

This place is located on the busy Bourke St right across from Southern Cross station, making it a busy brunch place indeed!
I ordered a chicken roll with pickled vegetables and coriander! It was filled with delicious free range chicken and you can definitely taste the difference! It's like their own version of the Vietnamese banh mi and it was delicious!
Kinfolk does change their menu so this may not be on it anymore but I'm keen to try their other dishes!

Absolutely amazing! There I was thinking of having a quiet relaxing lunch until I walked inside to find the complete opposite. It's loud and there's barely any room but don't let that fool you. Their food is amazing. I loved every bite of it. The staff are friendly and welcoming as well.
Unfortunately they're only opened during the week so if you decide to chuck a sickie, take an extended lunch break or in the area, I'd definitely recommend coming here for lunch!

Love the concept of this place. Makes you feel extra good leaving knowing you've supported a great business and charity. We had an awesome latte and almond milk piccolo latte today but the freshly brewed soy chai latte was one of the best I've had in Melbourne. A real standout! And all three talentedly presented. The almond milk wasn't that great and full of nasty fillers though. I wish more cafes would use a more natural almond milk such as Pureharvest without all the nasty fillings. Yeah it's not as creamy but it's still tastes great and is better for you.

I love the atmosphere here, it's small and vintage kinda place. The food is not impressed but good service. A nice place for brunch and catching up with your friends but not a best place to try out a delicious brunch. I might not come back since there are still better places to go other than this place.

Kinfolk is a wholesome establishment that puts back into the community. It's awesome that volunteers provide their services to this place- and do it with a smile and skip in their step. The place has steady traffic and is abuzz of vibe as soon as the door is opened. The Swine had lunch and enjoyed his meal. The Swine had a share meal of Pumpkin Risotto and veggie curry with a questionable type who had a wind issue. While the company was questionable the meal was good. Risotto was smooth and cheesy without losing the pumpkin magic and the curry was even better There are a ton of food and desert options - and coffee!. The Swine really likes this place and will be back! SWINE APPROVED!

I had a good time here. Got to sit in front of the massive window pane looking out at the shivering cold folk quickly scuttling past - always a joy for my warm qld blood - enjoying a big hot bowl of Moroccan spiced beans. These I recommend but make sure youre not an plebian like me and cut open the poached at the end, only to discover it has continued cooking in the bowl until hard :(.

Oh yeah and coffee goes down alright. Enjoy!

SUMMARY JUDGMENT

1. Kinfolk is just the kind of place where the JUDGE is reminded of her good for nothing mother who used to cook her amazing homely food all the time. BETTY HATES her mother. But she loves her food. And she loves the food here at Kinfolk. Let's not get into mother issues though. I HATE YOU MOM.

Melbournians love their cafes, especially those that are housed in a quirky or vintage building from the Golden Age of Melbourne just like this one. Must commend on their renovation; mix of plastered and exposed red bricks, lots of timber and vintage elements, industrial lighting, tasteful Artworks, mixing the new & old artworks, etc. very energised yet warm and pleasant ambiance

Quirky Brunch Menu, Justin Brie-ber Toastie, A+ presentation, great taste served by mostly friendly casual hipster looking staff.

The espresso machine gets busy on a daily basis complemented by their exotic tea range.

It's good to be a Melbournian.

Beyond the great community concept, I love Kinfolk's simple yet sophisticated, high quality brunch fare. Unlike other establishments in the CBD, Kinfolk doesn't charge exorbitant prices for their dishes. There are many healthy options on the menu and it's great that they use brown rice and good quality bread too. Highly recommend their curries and their specialty 63 degree egg dishes. Their daily specials and constantly evolving menu means that there's always something new and exciting to look forward to. Kudos for supplying Butterbing cookies too!

The food is quite standard cafe format.

But I can really not mark down this cafe as the service and idea behind is so wonderful.

Had the salad and soup combo, a small potion is little bit small even for girls.

The hipster and/or hippy vibe of this place initially had me having doubts about the quality of the food, but don't be fooled. I had a very reasonably priced stinging nettle, bocconcini and chilli oil risotto here for lunch today, while my friends had the value for money soup + salad set. The chilli oil was a great, almost inspired touch which inventively brought the otherwise well done comfort dish to another level. Service was also great.

Friendly staff and atmosphere, the tables and decorations are pretty rustic and cool. Coffee was beautiful - sweet, creamy and rich, although would've been better if it was slightly stronger. Froth was smooth, there was a nice thick layer of it like cappuccinos should have - 9/10. Food was fresh and beautifully presented, I got the egg of the day and my friend got the house made granola. The food was pretty nice although it was missing the 'wow' factor. Prices were pretty standard and reasonable. Overall it was a lovely brunch and I would recommend Kinfolk to others to try!

Actually the food is 4 out of 5. One thing that I am not really satisfied is the service. Although the service is not so effective, the food is really great. We had the porridge and the changing egg. The porridge is full of coconut flavor and a little bit sourness of kiwi makes it fresh. As for the changing egg, the texture of kale has a perfect marriage with the sourdough and poached egg.
Probably it is because staff are busy. However, the food deserve high mark.

An interesting one to visit for lunch, the deco is different (see picture attached) and the food is good, staff are very friendly and service is very fast. If you want something different with coffee, this is the place, ordered the cold drip coffee, interesting and enjoyed it.  I had the squid ink spaghetti with hesitance as it can taste fishy but it wasn't and not tasteless, it actually has a sweet taste it, quite enjoy it.

Don’t hesitate - order the side of bacon! I never thought a slab of cured pork would transcend you through time and space but it does! The place is super busy in the morning but it’s a testament to the friendliness of the staff, great coffee and awesome food! Make sure you pop in

Went on a Friday brunch timing, no queue but the cafe was packed! The ambience was cosy but definitely busy. Ordered the pasta, seasonal soup with salad and the winter special drink 'Chill Orange Hot Chocolate'. The pasta was awesome! It was nicely seasoned and tasted fresh. The seasonal soup was alright, looked a little oily in appearance but it was not too bad. Salad was okay as well. The real winner for me in this meal was the chilli orange hot chocolate. It reminded me of a type of orange flavoured chocolate I had in my childhood but the orangey taste wasn't too strong. Would come back just for this drink. It's a seasonal special, so I'm not too sure when this promotion will be over. The volunteers were also really friendly and the place gives profit to charities as well.

I really like this place. It’s very busy and hard to get a table a lot of the time, but it’s worth the wait. The menu is very diverse, there’s a lot to choose from. I had the pasta and it was delicious, full of flavor. My only wish is that they made the breakfast menu all day, as I often want to try something from that menu.

I thought the whole “buy a coffee we give the profit to charity” thing super appealing. But the service was a bit disorganized and I can already imagine if the whole place was full of people how that would end up. I loved the coffee and the food was delicious no doubt. Would come back.

Super busy at lunch, at the point that it becomes really loud inside. The had an almond latte and it was delicious. I also ordered the smashed AVO which was ok...it comes with a fried egg but I ordered an extra one which came after I finished my food 👎 that is why I dont give 5 starts. The service was good and the place seems lovely.
