I got to try some Easter cupcakes from here. They are delicious I like the carrot one the most. I found some of them are a bit too sweet to my liking.
I popped in here for the EatClub $1 coffee. I went with a macchiato and it hit the spot. I’ve had coffee at their William Street cafe before and Degraves was soooo much better. Didn’t try the cupcakes as I’d just eaten.
Had 36 cupcakes delivered for a morning tea today. All delicious but one of the containers didn’t pass the fragile test and unfortunately fronting got damage. We all enjoyed the fun flavours including salted caramel, lemon and of course everyone’s favourite red velvet!!!

We had a superannuation session organised at work which while boring was important to attend. You will not believe how delighted I was to see boxes of little cupcakes sitting waiting for the conclusion. Decadent little bribes. I tried the salted caramel and the Belgium chocolate ones and they can be summed up as yum.
Important to call out that the cupcakes themselves are the hero and not just vehicle for the delivery of frosting, which was also good btw. Good that I didn't have to part with my dollars in this instance as well... more money to invest in super perhaps!
Little Cupcakes have delicious gluten free cupcakes!! Everything is so pretty & tasty - perfect for events or birthdays as the cupcakes are bite size!
Decided to try their coffee as EatClub was offering $1 small coffee.
Decent standard Melbourne coffee, and for the price of $1 - definitely worth.
A little eatery cupcake store in Degraves street ☺️ selling cute and delicious cupcakes 🤤

3. Signature one - red velvet
Not too sweet
Rightly balanced 😁
and at last i tried iced belgian chocolate shake cost $5.40
Beat cupcake store☺️
Must visit 👍🏻
A small cute cupcake shop on Degraves, Flinders. Felt like something sweet after work so went in and got a mini salted caramel cupcake.
The cupcake was very moist and not dry like some other ones, and very light cream on top. A lot of variety here as well, so might need to come back and try their other flavours.
Who’s up for some cupcakes this weekend? Well, I am! 💕🥰 Red Velvet, Belgian Chocolate, or Vanilla, have it you way!
The Belgium Chocolate was super amazing ❤️😍 Loved it so much!
Love the concept of Little Cupcakes as you feel less guilty having more than one.
Located along the busy Degraves street, is this cute little eatery that serves up amazing cupcakes. The cupcake size is just perfect if you're like me and would love to try as many flavours as possible.
The favourites were nice as it was not too sweet and the chocolate one was good.
They do coffees and teas as well if you're after a quick morning tea or afternoon tea session
Tiny shop with friendly service. The iced coffee isn't bad and there are a great range of cupcakes to chose from. Ranging in sizes, they are moist, tasty little morsels.

• Belgian hot chocolate $5 is sweeter than dark hot chocolate.
• I also tried the dark horse coffee mini cupcake $1.6, which is topped with cream cheese and coated with 100% callebaut cocoa powder. Although the cake is quite dry, the cream part is creamy (of course), cheesy and also not too sweet (thanks to the cocoa powder).

So good, for so many reasons. This so, so quaint little shop entices you in with its pleasing decor and tempting cupcakes on display.
The store itself is tiny and barely fits 10 people but you can sit outside on the little pink tables. Here, you can watch the wonders of Degraves Street pass you by and soak up what Melbourne has to offer.
Today was a ‘red velvet’ cupcake that was pure velvety heaven. The icing not overly sweet, the cupcake light as a feather. Watching people eat the pure sugary sweet donuts across the lane seemed a culinary dichotomy.
The store was full with people getting their last minute desserts for the day. Service was swift and staff lovely. Even filled my water bottle with water with a smile.
Not wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Short walk to Flinders Street Station.
Will return.
Best cupcakes I had in Melbourne! The red velvet was on point!! The lemon cupcake however could give it a miss. The frosting on it was too sweet and tasted funny. But definitely would go back for the red velvet!!
I can never resist a cupcake. I love them as they always bring back lovely childhood memories of my mamma’s baking. So I just had to pop into Little Cupcakes for a cupcake fix. The staff at Little Cupcakes are friendly and I love their vintage crockery. They have a great variety of flavours as well gluten free and vegan options. I chose the passionfruit cupcake (pictured) which was a bit on the dry side, however, the passionfruit cream was lovely and tart and not too sweet. #littlecupcakes
This little cafe is located in Degraves Street.. they have a good selection of cupcakes similar to their queen street store..
The cupcakes were delectable and definitely small enough that one person can have a couple and won’t fill you up..
The coffees there wasn’t as strong but decent..
The seatings were quite limited however given that most people come here for takeaways it was adequate..

We still recall the first cupcake shop we fell in love with, down Degraves. A little cupcake shop called Little Cupcakes, with minimal seating and the cutest cupcakes! There's plenty of flavours though along came Cupcake Central may years later with their more experiment and modern flavours. If it's classic cupcakes and we're downtown it's where we'd stop by. On this occasion...
Awesome cupcakes in a variety of flavors! Great coffee. It was quite strong and the beans had a rich flavor. Such a cute shop on Degraves with a deli table selection of cupcakes. Extremely nice red velvet cupcake as well. Service was very friendly and good here. Definitely, recommend trying the Belgian chocolate cupcake and the red velvet ones.
Little cupcakes is such a gorgeous little cafe! Situated on Degraves St right in the middle of Melb CBD, it’s the perfect place to whip in for a coffee and cupcake mid-shop. We had a latte and a hot chocolate and both were lovely. The cookies and cream cupcake is my favourite - sooo delicious, as is the red velvet. I had the pleasure of trying the Christmas cupcakes too - and that gingerbread man cupcake was nothing short of delightful. Thankyou for having me in to try some delicious treats!
Good cupcakes and drinks, there are a variety to chose from. Location is convenient but it is a bit small and it is in a busy street. Price is a little expensive for the food and drink.
I love Little Cupcakes ❤️ they make the cutest cupcakes and it’s always moist and full of flavour. During Halloween they had all these cute yet scary decapitated teddy bears lol. I love it how they have mini cupcakes, so it doesn’t feel as if I am eating too much calories 🤣
Cute cupcakes in a variety of flavours. I've tried a few and have always found their red velvet to be especially good! Small and quaint - it's also a good place for a coffee stop!
Food : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great taste
Price : ⭐️⭐️⭐️ A bit expensive
Service : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Friendly staff
Ambience : ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pretty small but nice little shop
Great coffee. It was quite strong and the beans had a rich flavour. Such a cute shop on Degraves with a deli table selection of cupcakes. I will return.
Been loving those $1 coffee promos on EatClub ($1.50 with soy). Even once you've inevitably added a $2.80 mini vegan cupcake to the order, you'll still end up better off than if you got a coffee elsewhere. The Queen St. location even stocks Stevia! Been a few times now to various outlets and staff are always lovely across the board. Only complaint is that there's only 1 vegan option per day. I'd love to see more
Cute little place on Degraves Street. Perfectly acceptable coffee here. Extremely nice red velvet cupcake as well. Lovely sitting outside on the street which was lively even for a weekday. Service was very friendly and good here. We liked it. A good experience.
Quaint little cafe on Degraves. I like it for office birthdays as it has vegan and GF options. They are $$ for the mini cupcakes but they’re good quality. Not too dry or too sweet.
Cute little place on Degraves Street with some of tastiest cupcakes I’ve had in Melbourne yet! Definitely recommend trying the belgian chocolate cupcake and the red velvet ones
The tastiest cupcakes I have had in Melbourne. Love that they offer regular and mini versions-perfect bite sizes! Whilst they are cheap they are certainly worth the value in my opinion. The best!
Hands down the best red velvet cupcakes!!!
This cute little store never disappoints. The quality of their cupcakes is consistently great! 👌🏻
Such a cute little shop! I ordered a cherry ripe cupcake and it was delicious! The chocolate cake was moist, albeit a bit crumbly. The cherry icing was tart but sweet and really complimented the flavour of the cake. I'd love to try more of the cupcake flavours here.
cute little cafe but easy to be missed so make sure you keep an eye open 😋 the cupcakes are really yummy, tried 3 different flavors in one seating but didn't feel overwhelmed at all because they're not crazily sweet. however the staff doesn't look friendly at all - what's so hard about giving a smile to your costumer? 🤦🏻♀️
Nomzz nomzz nomzz. Dropped by here for some mini treats and was delighted with what I had - Pistachio and Salted Caramel mini cupcakes.
The cupcakes were not over-sweetened, the textures were just nice and the toppings (salted caramel cream & cream cheese icing) were tasty too!
Great Puns Don't Dessert Me Now :)
Stopped in at Little Cupcakes to indulge my sweet tooth as this was my last trip for the day. Lots of delicious options to choose from. I opted for a box of 4 at $11.80 which is a pretty decent price I think. Tried the Red Velvet, Salted Caramel, Chocolate and Blueberry. A good range to choose from. Service was great, the girls were very nice and dare I say it as sweet as the desserts for which this truly awesome little gem of a place is so named. Would I come back here? Absolutely :)
The most amazing little cupcakes! Passionfruit white chocolate is a favourite (or perhaps red velvet? Can't decide!) but all the ones I've had were simply decadent! A bit on the pricey side but totally worth it.
Love the "not too sweet" taste of the cupcakes! Tried the salted caramel and peanut butter and they was super yum. Gonna be my favorite cupcake shop in melb 👌🏻
That's pretty good size to have few more pieces, not too sweet and moist. If the Belgian chocolate tasted more cocoa flavor, it would be fantastic.
Cupcakes makes your mouth water? then Little Cupcakes should surely be on your list.
Like a Hole in the wall, Little Cupcakes is a very tiny place bang opposite to Doughnut Time... (feels congested with 5 guests) and is quite easy to miss, but, serves some kickass Hot Chocolate and perfectly sweet and fluffy cupcakes.
Our most favorite were the Pistachio Blueberry, Lemon and Red Velvet from the cupcakes and Belgian Chocolate and Belgian Mocha.
Service quite efficient and total value for money, definitely returning to try some more of those cupcakes and hot chocolate.
Who doesn't like Cupcakes?
Not too overly sweet, well made, moist and all my favourite flavours are there; Red Velvet to start with, then Salted Caramel and so on.
Quaint, pastel, French provincial looks.
Just too easy to enjoy.
Come here after lunch. It's really nice place for cupcakes and coffee with the window seat. Don't miss here if you are in the CBD!!! Will back 100%.
One of my favourite spots for a sweet treat on degraves. They probably been around for almost a decade now and have managed to endure with four branches around Melbourne. I love their mismatched old fashioned plates. As per the name you can purchase little cupcakes which allows you to try a few different varieties (although the tiny teddy is always my favourite) and they have a good ratio of icing to cake base unlike other places that pipe on mounds of buttercream and you have to throw half of it out. There are always a few little cakes for sale at the counter too. Absolutely delicious. Great for catering too
I very rarely do crave for cupcakes although I cannot help but admire how much detail goes into decorating each piece. From piping the right amount of icing to layering it with generous dollops of cream to practicing restrain when sprinkling on other bits of decorations. Stopped by Little Cupcakes for a couple of mini versions as our post- lunch treat. Got the passion fruit flavour and raspberry and white chocolate version. Fluffy and light thanks to the right amount of whisking when preparing the batter. Icing on the top had an even distribution of sweetness and tartness from the sugar and fruity flavours used.
Im now falling in love to cupcakes !!
The staffs is so nice, the cupcakes are awesome.
It wasnt much sweet which I really like it. I had the Belgiam chocolate flavour with the hot belgium chocolate. Super awesome.... !!
I am a massive fan of this place. Their cupcakes are soft and full of flavour. They always taste as if they have been freshly baked.
The oreo and salted caramel cupcakes are the pick of them imo, however the peanut butter and Belgium chocolate are almost just as good
There are a range of cupcakes to choose from, and I decided to get two of their smaller ranger cupcakes. They were moist and scrumptious, and is perfect to have with a hot drink. The restaurant is quaint and the staff were friendly.
Delightful little cupcake store! Huge selection of flavours, luckily they also come in bite size so you don't feel TOO guilty about not being able to narrow down or display self restraint. We went for the snowy pistachio and red velvet - delectable. They also have Halloween packs!
Mini magnificence!
Found by happy chance just off Flinders lane and all decked out for Halloween, Little Cupcakes drew us in through sheer force of charm alone.
The cupcakes live right up to their diminutive name but we're oh so tasty, and not ridiculously priced.
We tried Red Velvet and a pistachio and white choc. Both wonderful and guilt free sizing.
The rest of the selection looked just as inviting and for those with more of an appetite they do create full size cakes!
Cute little cupcake store, its picture perfect. The staff are very friendly & know a lot about cupcakes. I ordered a large salted caramel cupcake & mini cherry ripe. Also had a coffee which was very good. At the moment you can pre order Halloween cupcakes, they are super cute.

No doubt that Little Cupcakes makes the tastiest and most adorable cupcakes in Melbourne. Always a fan of their red velvet cupcake since 2009. Love the fact that they come in mini size, which means I can try more flavours with lesser guilt.
Love Little Cupcakes.
Perfect when you just want something small to stop your sweet tooth craving. Or can't decide which one to get so you end up getting different flavours to try.
I tried the pistachio and the red velvet cupcakes, and at $2.50 each they were a no-brainer. The pistachio was lovely and had a bit of a lemony zing to it. The red velvet was one of the better red velvets I've had. Has your classic tang from the cream cheese frosting. Both were fluffy and not sickly sweet.
Priced perfectly so even if you feel a bit guilty about eating cupcakes you don't feel too guilty about how much you paid for them.
Best cupcake in Melbourne! The cake is light and moist and the icing is not too sweet as well, perfect choice for people who dont really like sweet. All of them taste really good but I highly recommend the belgian chocolate, red velvet, and lemon
Working around the corner of Degraves, Little Cupcakes has become a common Sunday morning treat for myself and some of my co-workers, especially to celebrate little things like birthdays or someone going away for a trip. The cupcakes always look gorgeous, and always taste just as great. As a big chocolate fan, I would recommend the Belgian Chocolate or the Devil's Dark Chocolate. With vegan and gluten free options too, everyone gets a little taste of heaven!
Little Cupcakes has been operating since 2007 with currently four locations around Victoria, selling handcrafted cupcakes in regular and mini size that are baked fresh daily. There’s gluten-free and vegan options, and they also cater for brand/corporate cupcakes with edible logo prints. Regular size cupcakes are too sugary for me and I get bored of them once the cream frosting is gone and only the cake is left, so the mini sizes are just perfect.
I have been here for several times in recent half year, and this is the first time to review for this place. Really tiny and cute place, I used to have coffee and cupcake in store, and buy packs of cupcakes for me or friends. Every cupcake is great taste and looks cute. This store is my first option to buy cupcakes.
Kind reminder, better visit early, some flavors like pistachio ones sell fast.
Summary Review: If you’re after some soft, fluffy and delicious cupcakes, this store is just for you. 9/10 for service, products and ambience. This little cute shop in Degraves made me fall in love with baking. When you walk into the store there a big variety of cupcakes available for you to choose from. One day I hope to open up a shop like this,it seems small and easy to manage in my eyes anyway
Always stop here when I am in the city. The mini cupcakes are a great treat as you wander the city. The cakes are always fresh, moist, light and the different flavours are always exceptional. I usually go to the Degraves lane shop but there are a few other shops around the CBD.
They also package them up of you want to buy a few extra to take home.
Love the little tiny cupcakes. The cherry ripe is so delicious.
Will be back for some more. Just can't get enough of those mini bites........
Every cupcake is look soooooo cute! We bought 6 mini pack and all taste good! The teddy bear style is really attractive and good choice to take pictures~ BTW, I also ordered a cappuccino here, delicious as well!
This place provides one of the best little cupcakes. The presentation is good and they offer a wide range of flavours. I ordered the 12 pack box and this gave us the opportunity to try all the different flavours they have. My favorite is definitely the raspberry white chocolate and red velvet.
I've been obsessed with this teeny tiny little cupcake store for a number of years. It's a tight squeeze but intimate and located on one of the best streets in Melbourne. Entering this store could easily transfer you to some quaint little cake shop in Europe with one bite and a single inhale.
Got these cuties for xmas and they're simply Devine!! So creative and fun for the holiday period (photo with box excluded).
However i do prefer the mini little ones rather then he big ones. Perfect bite size and just enough butter icing..mmm
So cute. So lovely. Love those tiny cupcake. Choose blueberry n pistachio flavour tiny cupcake to have a try. Amazing. Fresh, soft n proper sweet.
Cute cupcakes that not only look good but taste yummy too!! Can't complain! My favourite is obviously salted caramel. 😁 I like that they offer mini cupcakes which means I could try different flavours without appearing like a 'cupcake monster'.😄
Omgoodness... how lucky were we to stumble across this gem of a cake shop situated in the cutest little laneway in the city! Cant swing a cat in this teeny weeny shop but dont let that fool you - in a city where rent must cost the same as a small mortgage, the size of this place just adds to its charm.
As always, my eyes were bigger than my stomach as I surveyed the many sugary offerings in the cake cabinet but I somehow managed to limit my purchase to one mini peanut butter cookie cupcake ($2.50; regular size is $4). The cake was as moist as my cupcake fascination demands, and the icing was perfectly crafted and not too sweet or stacked too high to overpower the cake itself.
Everything in this shop looks calorific :) and I'm sure any flavour would have impressed me just as much as the peanut one.
Prices are very reasonable (I don't get it when shops try and charge upwards of $6 for a cupcake...) and service is as charming as the decor. Would've loved to try a cake with coffee while sitting on a pretty table in the laneway. Highly recommend.
For a staff meeting, the company bought cupcakes for the department. They were really nice, fresh and moist. I must admit, these are better then the ones from joy cupcakes in Southbank. A nice little treat!
Packed with flavour, stunning presentation and they smell wonderful. The packing gives a very classy touch to the the already awesome cupcakes that the team creates. You can see the love that goes into make every one of these beautiful things.
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Adorable mini cupcakes which make for perfectly presented and packaged gifts for the parents (or anyone who loves cupcakes really). Worth making the squeeze into the tiny shop to drool at the wide range of flavours behind the glass counter, especially the elusive limited edition ones (that aren’t available every day).
Great fun little cup cake shop, bite sized punches of flavour that leave you searching your wallet for another 2.50 worth of coins.
Highly recommend the red velvet and/or... Actually just and the pistachio.
You won't regret dropping by here for a coffee and cupcake, or two!
O my Lordy, their gluten free vegan cupcakes are divine!! I've walked in here many times and have been disappointed by their gluten free flavour offering (why no gluten free carrot cupcake?! sad face tear) however my mum just bought me the snowy pistachio for my birthday and it is the best tasting cupcake I've ever had! I must have one everyday from this day forward!! oink.
Serving some of the cutest cupcakes around, Little Cupcakes has become a bit of a frequent haunt for us when we're feeling like a sweet treat. . They are a little smaller than your usual cupcake and a little dearer too in comparison but the flavours on offer are delicious. Their red velvet cupcake is our all time favourite. Fluffy, light and moist with the most decadent cream cheese topping.
Omg so good!! Got the red velvet and Oreo. Definitely going back for more.. Red velvet was so good with the cream cheese. Didn't try the coffee but wanted it. Would be awesome if they were
Good cakes but we're very small and a bit expensive for what you actually get. Staff was friendly and there is lots of selection. Prices go down with more cupcakes bought but only once you get to a dozen.
Best cupcakes ever! Ive tried the red velvet, belgian chocolate, white chocolate and raspberry, pistachio and rocky road. All the flavors are amazing but the red velvet is one the best lightest most tastiest ive had in a while. A must recommend place!
Awesome coffee,cupcakes and service!
Hint for coffee: Early birds gets the worms~! 😁😜
My fav is the Oreo cupcakes! Best part is they have 2 sizes for you to choose so don't worry about the portion~!
You can take a card from their counter~ and every time you buy coffee, give it to the sweet and lovely staff to punch the card~ once you have enough of the little star punches on your card, you can get either free coffee or cupcake~!
Little cupcakes is love. Always love this place whenever I have a cupcake craving. Very cute store, friendly staff and delicious cupcakes. Good range to choose from; their display case is always full and always smells amazing when you walk inside.
For Ani’s birthday (a few weeks ago), we ordered 100 mini cupcakes from the Little Cupcakes Store in Degraves Street. Little Cupcakes has both normal and mini sized cupcakes in a variety of flavours, and they also have vegan and gluten free options. They’re not cheap at $2.50 each, but when you buy a dozen cupcakes the price is reduced to $2.20/cupcake and when you order 100 cupcakes the price becomes $2 each.
With a variety of different flavoured cup-cakes you can’t go wrong here. Words can only explain so much, unless you try these little pieces of heaven you simply won’t understand. So why not drop past for a coffee and a delicious cupcake or seven. Otherwise you could even grab a couple of your favourite flavours to takeaway as you head off to your own fun date idea.
Why should you care? Because they are hands down, without a doubt, eaaasily the best cupcakes available in Melbourne. Now that I’m working in the CBD, I can usually be found at one of their stores twice a week, for a cup of tea and a tasty little delight. No shame. And if you’re in the general vicinity (even if you’re not), you should probably go as well. Disappointment is impossible. Just look at how damn cute they are… and they taste even better!
The ones pictured here range from tiny teddy, red velvet and chocolate to coconut and caramel. Not too sweet, and a good portion of icing to dough. Addictive.
Are cupcakes boring? Times when the macaron craze came close to usurping the throne, cronuts sweeping the world and who can forget frogurt. But there is something about being able to smash down a cute as a button mini-cake and to try more than one flavour in a sitting (unless you are eating a BTS cupcakes - they are a beast). So how does Little Cupcakes stack up? Teddy bear cupcake *swoon*. Just look at the tiny teddy fitted on top! Made from a dense chocolate cupcake and a sweet buttercream topping – although the most adorable looking one, the red velvet was my favourite. That dollop of cream cheese frosting just melts in the mouth and was so moresome. Teddy Bear and Red Velvet Cupcake I think you guys can see a pattern on how I can’t resist the words salted caramel :( The icing for the salted caramel cupcake was quite buttery - it wasn’t really salted caramel or caramel. But never fear peanut butter cookie crumb cupcake to the rescue. It actually tasted like peanut butter Loved the
If you're down in Melbourne bumming around, pop down to Little Cupcakes on Degraves St and grab a treat for yourself!

One should be impressed by the colour and presentation of this establishment. The cupcakes are presented in beautiful rows of exquisiteness. I asked the staff about the popular cupcakes here and was drawn to the Red Velvet.
Taco dinner at friend’s place. Dessert was cupcake from Little Cupcakes in city. yum.
The little cupcake cupcakes are always a big hit with family and friends! You can find any kind of flavor to fit your mood or taste 😀 we usually buy a box for baby showers and for my kids birthday parties. Plus their coffee tastes great.
It’s such a treat just visiting their store as it’s so cute! It’s lovely to see people sitting but the window.
The Vegan mini cupcakes were perfect!! We ordered the baby themed mini cupcakes each with baby feet or teddy bears, they looked beautiful and tasted great too. Nothing was any trouble for this company they answered all my questions on the emails and it was easy ordering. The delivery was on time. Presentation was perfect too. I would recommend this company and will use them again.
Delicious cupcakes with both vegan and gf options. The red velvet vegan cupcakes were delicious
We tried a beautiful cupcake box with six different flavours from this shop a while ago and they have became one of our favourites cupcake places here in Melbourne, our favourites were red velvet and dark chocolate.
Such a great place for cup cakes.
We got little cup cakes forbmy sons Birthday , all kids lover it in the school.
The coffee too.
Very friendly staff and always smile on the face.
We visited couple of times at William Street though there is no difference in taste but this visit ar Degraves St is the best.
Thank you and keep up the good work.
A wonderful little store with very friendly and helpful staff. My wife and I ordered a series of cupcakes for a gender reveal party - all of which were perfectly baked and decorated. Up a very charming (and bustling) little lane, this store is a great place to get your sugar fix! The other treats we tried were quite tasty! Recommended! Will definitely be going back.
So good, for so many reasons. This so, so quaint little shop entices you in with its pleasing decor and tempting cupcakes on display.
