Review Encore Bar And Restaurant - Melbourne

George Nahas
We stayed at the hotel and went for drinks and desert at Encore. Bruno was behind the bar and was amazing. Everything A class here.

First time visiting this restaurant and the atmosphere was very nice and relaxing. We had a glass of wine while ordering our food. We both had the beef and reef. The steak was cooked perfectly, very juicy and tender. The lobster and prawns were delicious too. Our main course was just spotted on. For dessert, I had the lychee mousse cake and my partner had the trio of ice cream. They were not just beautifully displayed but also very nice. We loved it. The staffs were friendly and attentive, special thanks to Jessa who served us. Such a fantastic birthday celebration dinner with my partner. Thank you Encore!

Great food and great service! Starter - the breads and charcuterie were yummy Main - reef and beef, beef wasnt as tender and lobster claw was slightly undercooked but the rest including all the sides were delicious (We were full by this stage!) Dessert - lychee and ice cream were the highlight, so good! (Always room for desserts :p) Wine - house red Shiraz was surprisingly smooth and a great addition to the steak or drink by itself, was so easy to drink! Top it off with good and friendly service by all the waiters/waitress, great job guys :) Will definitely recommend to others :)

Absolutely Amazing food and Alex looked after us and did and amazing job. We didn’t just feel like a number but felt so welcome into the resturant. Thanks Alex.

Top class! The food was amazing and the service was above expectations. Highly recommend the steak and turf. Good atmosphere and very generous portion size. Ps. Find specials on Groupon and if you haven't tried it already then don't be too late to grab a bargain of a life time on Groupon to experience this restaurant.

Used the Groupon deal. Decent the course meal, crumbed veal is great. Desserts have a good selection but are lacking in taste
Gaetan Menager
Probably a bit biased review since we use a groupon which provided GREAT value. Great service, good food, good portion. A bit pricey hence not sure if we'll come back without a voucher.
Jonathan Boyko
The service is great, the food not as much. I've had the ribeye steak. Ordered as medium-rare it came in medium. Unfortunately underseasoned, same as the grilled mushrooms. While not terrible, it was indeed underwhelming.

Used a Groupon voucher for 2 people - including a main course each, dessert each and a bottle of wine to share!
Firstly, their house wine Shiraz Cabernet was to die for! I ordered prawn tacos and my partner had a steak with a side of chips, onion rings, garlic aoli and red wine jus. Mains were such a great size - you actually felt full from the one course! My tacos were stunning, so full and packed of flavor. For dessert, we ordered a cheese board and a chocolate lovers plate. Definitely a good choice as they also came out with a sundae and a candle for my partners birthday! This was not included in the Groupon voucher but they still wanted to make sure you had a good experience, which we certainly did. The staff were friendly from the moment we walked in. We had three different staff serve and check up on us during the night. Overall, great deal on Groupon and experience for us!

We have been fortunate enough to have five meals at Encore over the journey and couldn't fail to give it 5 stars every time! From the Garlic bread to the main meal of Lamb Shoulder or Steak to the exquisite desserts and especially to the service you cannot fault Encore!!

We came here with a 2-course groupon voucher on a Saturday night. Nice candle light setting inside, the restaurant itself is quite small and not very obvious to the eye from the outside. The service was very good, the waitress explained to us what was included in the groupon voucher and kept checking on us throughout the night. We had the porterhouse steak and lamb shoulder as mains and the tiramisu and trio of ice cream for desserts. The mains were very generous and very tasty. The trio of ice cream was a tad too sweet to my liking but overall, it was a good night.
Rachael
Really nice food. Waited for an age and a half (1.5 hours), very nice setting in the dim candle light. Would have given it a higher rating as the food was very tasty with great pairing and combination of flavours. Dessert was especially nice but I’m no so sure about the sorbet combination with the brandy snap basket.

Came here with a 3 course Groupon voucher.

The service: 4.5/5
The atmosphere: venue is small and quiet, no issues with this. The main patronage seemed to be over 50s and hotel guests.

Shared starters: generally underwhelming and can be skipped without missing anything .
1) mushroom and halloumi sliders - buns were a bit dry. Contents bland.
2) spiced pumpkin and chickpea soup - tasted ok but importantly made the platter a bit more interesting.
3) tempura pumpkin flowers - taste was ok with the dipping sauce, but quite oily.
4) salad - seemed to be placed on the side of the platter as an afterthought. Was dry and seemed stale. No seasoning.

Mains: well presented but bland. Serving sizes decent.
Lamb shoulder - cooked well but lacked any flavour.
Porterhouse steak - again cooked well but lacked flavour. Sauce was not flavoursome (no options on the sauce). Side of chips soft rather than crunchy.

Dessert:
Strawberry panacotta: presented nicely but there was a watery element in there which took away from the panacotta (probably from defrosting).

Three chocolate: hard to stuff up chocolate and they didn't.

Verdict: can't fault the service here but there are so many better options for food in Melbourne.
Emily
Absolutely divine food! My partner and I both had the Rib Eye (medium rare) and honestly it melted in your mouth, I would highly recommend the house Shiraz as well, it was delicious. The trio of ice creams was likewise a crowd pleaser! Nothing but good things to say about the experience!

Last night I went to this place for my birthday dinner for 10people reservations. I add 1 more person in the day I came.

At the first time just arrived in this place, just in love with everything. So straight away I Booked a table here.

The staffs were super friendly, the service was exellent. The food was amazing but unfortunately I'm not able to finish it as I'm too full, because we had 2 courses each person. But I'm glad that my friends enjoyed the dinner.

This place is so elegant and cool if u want to have good food and good service.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Warmest Regards,
Birthday Girl

A groupon voucher! Had the lamb shoulder which came with beens and mash. Was tasty and lamb was cook well, falling apart. Friend had the steak, was a little tough but nice flavors. Dessert, the fruit platter and trio of ice cream. Nice ice cream and awesome brandy snap as the basket!

We ate here on 2 consecutive occasions. The food and service was excellent. It is an intimate space and increased the value of staying at he Grand Chancellor Hotel.

Came here to tried their $20 steak promotion. The steak was cooked in a medium well as what i have already requested. the steak was just okay and it tastes quite plain. The restaurant's wasn't that big but they have a great customer service! Wouldn't mind to come back again with their groupon coupouns deals:)
Gee
Saw the $19 steak on a Sunday deal. Don't know what I was thinking! Anyways, don't ever come here for the cheap steak! It serves me right really. Having read other reviews about the place, it seems that some people consider it a fine dining restaurant? I'm a little confused.
Joe
Groupon night out. We came on a pre bought Groupon voucher and found the food and service to be of a very high standard loved the lamb shoulder with French lentils and also the trifle with the lemon curd left me wonting another.... Will be back

I came here with a Groupon voucher with semi-high expectations for this place due to their fairly decent Zomato ratings. Instead, I left feeling quite disappointed. The venue in itself is quite small but when my partner and I arrived, there were still a few empty tables available. 2 out of the 3 staff members who served us were quite nice and helpful but it was also a bit disappointing to see that until we asked for it, they didn't inform us of what we were entitled to with the Groupon voucher.
Nevertheless, we only waited about 25 minutes for our main course to arrive and the food presentation was definitely not what I expected. The steak was cooked quite decently for the cut (fat was rendered and for the most part, it was Medium rare) but it looked like the sauce was just unceremoniously dumped below and on the steak. The only thing to accompany this was a basket of chips and garlic aioli sauce.
The rockling (pretty much just fish and chips) tasted quite bad - the texture of it felt like it had been frozen, thawed and then cooked. The batter was also quite hard and according to my partner, it tasted like cardboard.
The dessert came out pretty quickly but overall, we found that it tasted okay, but there was nothing spectacular about it. The presentation of it was better than the main meals and the portion size was quite decent.

Had dinner here tonight as I am staying at the hotel for work. I ordered the slow cooked beef shoulder with mash and vegetables and it was absolutely divine! The red wine jus was just right and the beef melted in your mouth. I will be back for dinner another night this week!
Alison
Dinner tonight was a mixed experience, but overall fairly ordinary.
The service at our table was non existent at the start of the night. I had to get up twice to firstly ask for drinks for our table/ then again to get someone to take our order. It seems they had forgotten to allocate a staff member to attend our table.
My meal was like warm as were the stir fried vegetables.
The pear desserts were lovely apparently, but the cheese cake was tasteless and poor.
Honest Eats
Would not recommend. Two of us ordered Lamb Shanks - and they were literally frozen solid in the centre whilst mildly warm on the exterior. (Presentation was okay, as per image).

They were (obviously) keen to replace this and try to make up for it, but the combination of incredibly slow response times from our Waitress and the near 45 minute wait for food in a relatively unoccupied restaurant made this a disaster.

If you happen to stumble upon this place, their Steak is 'okay' at best. ThatFoodie ordered a Porterhouse, medium-rare and it was acceptable with the mushroom jus.

They do a good pana cotta; though sadly that's not enough to make up for how horrible the overall experience was.
HB
Very happy with the food at Encore. I had the slow cooked beef shoulder and my husband had the tortellini. For dessert we had the Hazelnut Panacotta. We would recommend all of these and we couldn't fault any of the food. Service was a bit slow as it shouldn't take 2 hours to eat 2 courses. Would definitely go back again though.

Good value and great food , try the steak ...cooked to perfection. A very understated restaurant with surprisingly good selection. We will return ,good option for a midweek dinner to get out and about.

Came here again 13/10 and service was abysmal. Arrived on time waited 15 mins for table, waited an hour for meal ....still waiting......wheels have fallen off the wagon ....will not be back.

Still waiting !!

EncoreThe food was surprisingly good !!!! It is part of a medium size hotel but its food and service was quiet the opposite. Great use of seasonal produce and strong clean flavours made for a great evening.Encore is a small, quiet and well organised restaurant you go to for the food and to impress and have a quiet conversation with a friend.
Kimmy_desu
Service was good but it was quite a busy night with only 1-2 serving staff, so that slowed things down just a little bit. Liked the lamb shoulder but as a previous review has suggested the mashed potato is a bit too rich--- go easy on the butter please. Porterhouse steak was a bit overcooked and hard to chew... I can't believe they would charge $15 for a plate of fruit or supermarket cheesecake.... Overall I would rate this place a 6.5/10 (satisfactory/above average).
Anne
Very Ordinary.. Four of us ate at Encore on Friday night. We arrived an hour earlier than our booked time at 7pm. The waiter was very hesitant to seat us and commented that we were early. The restaurant was mostly empty so I couldn't see what the fuss was. Another waiter checked the reservation book and said that our early arrival wasn't a problem and we were shown to our table.
As we had vouchers, we knew what we could choose from the menu and had already decided. The menu is very limited and not at all exciting. I chose the Barra in beer batter with fat chips and salad. The chips were plain old frozen chips you'd cook at home so was disappointed, the fish was nice and I must say, the plate was full. My husband had the lamb, he wasn't too impressed as the gravy was so rich that it actually ruined the dish. Our daughter had the pasta which was ok...not amazing. She commented to me that my mushroom pasta is much nicer which was disappointing when you're eating food prepared by a chef and not a home cook. Our son ordered the chicken breast. It looked unimpressive and I'm glad I didn't order it.
Desserts were again OK but nothing to rave about. My cheesecake was something they'd pre-purchased (probably frozen) and was sticking to the roof of my mouth.
Would we go back there.....NO! Would I recommend Encore......NO. I seriously believe that I cook a better meal, when I dine out I love to eat food that I don't cook at home. For the prices on the menu, Encore is not good value for money.

Wonderful food. We enjoyed an absolutely beautiful meal at Encore using an 'Our Deal' voucher. There was certainly no compromise on the food. Highly recommend!
Burp Appetit
The restaurant served up some decent and unsurprising food. I had a pleasant dining experience but it does not really “wow” me. Portion for appetiser and mains are generous and worth paying for.
Jun
I personally enjoyed the entrees more than the mains. The mains weren't bad, but nor were they fantastic. Let's just say they are decently good but I honestly got boring after a few mouthfuls. The fish was cooked well but I struggled to finish it. The picture may look small but the portion is huge! The humongous chicken schnitzel had way too much carbohydrates on its plate - fries on the side and potatoes in the salad...

What's in a name? Everything! Encore by name, encore by nature! This is my fourth visit and looking forward to my fifth. I'll be coming back again and again for the friendly service and fabulous food. Encore, encore!!
Debbie
Very enjoyable meal. Four of us went out for dinner to this restaurant last night to celebrate my birthday. Two of us had the lamb shoulder which had been cooked for 6 hours and just fell apart. It was delish. My partner had a steak which he said was cooked perfectly and he is a fussy steak eater. The other guest had the salmon. We were all more than happy with the service and the meals. Prices were very reasonable. Two of us used a groupon voucher and could not have been happier with the value for money we received. Even without the voucher I would recommend this restaurant. 4 happy customers.

IT'S A MUST !. We have been to Encore before and had dinner with friends. It was just as good as I remember. The food was excellent value for money as we purchased vouchers from Our Deal. The service was exceptional with staff very prompt friendly and attentive without being overpowering. Would highly recommend Nd will definitely go again.

Lovely. I have eaten here many times now and can honestly say that I have never had a bad meal. The menu is small but each dish is well thought out and finished beautifully. The staff are attentive without being intrusive and the restaurant itself is intimate and quiet, perfect for great conversation. Well done folks, thank you for the lovely meals had and future ones to come!

-----17 Nov, 2014-----

Honest integrity...love it!. I have been to encore several times now, often with vouchers from our deal. Each and every time I have found the service to be consistently attentive without being intrusive I have always been impressed by the meals. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a good meal as it never fails on delivery. Thanks for the great experiences encore!

Please Sir, Can I have more?. Well in theory I'd love to have my meal again, but in reality I'm full as a goog.

Thank you Encore for a lovely meal. Beautiful restaurant, friendly and efficient staff and wonderful food. I had the six hour cooked lamb shoulder for mains, and dessert was a decadent chocolate mousse with hazelnuts, honeycomb and shaved dark chocolate. Absolutely delicious. My companions all enjoyed their meals too. Well done.

New favorite spot for pre theatre dinner!. Went here with my colleagues before going to see a show (four of us). We had chancellor tasting plate for two, seafood tasting plate for one and the zucchini flower for the entree. They taste amazing! We also had the ravioli, lamb shoulder, 2 of the $17 porterhouse steak and it came with super delicious mushroom sauce and fat chips (should've asked for extra sauce earlier) and side of eggplant salad. With all of those foods already in our tummy, I cant believe we ordered desserts. But ended up loving it so much. We had pina colada panna cotta, sticky date pudding (with ice cream and various type of sauce) and belgian choc mousse (absolutely delicious) Thumbs up to the chef! The staff were so lovely also, very attentive. Tip: 1. ask for table near the window for good view! 2. Come early if u are going to show after (it takes 20-25 minutes for the mains, if u only order the main course) Better come at 5 or 5.30pm
James Chalupa
I won't eat here again. Forgot my red wine, didn't ask how I wanted my steak cooked. The fries came cooked in unclean oil and the mushroom sauce was burnt. Sad thing is I have to stay in the hotel a few more times. Won't eat here next time.
Aly
Almost! Tonight we were gre.... Almost!
Tonight we were greeted and seated with style. The orders were taken quickly and the mains came out in reasonable time. However there was a small slip with one of the main meals but this was rectified quickly. However the wheels fell off after this. It took too long to clear the table and the desserts- pre ordered- were inordinately slow coming to the table. No further drinks were offered after we received the original. A shame really.

Our deal 15-6-14. Last night we used our deal voucher. First time user of our deal. What a great night the food was gorgeous full of flavour and plenty of food options.
My highlight was the grilled chicken with polenta and for dessert the chocolate mousse with honey comb, hazelnuts and Belgium chocolate finished of a perfect night. WELL DONE ENCORE
James Glanvill
Soooooo much flavour !!!!!. From the baguette with Olive Tapinade to the Snapper, to the Lamb Shoulderto the Piña Colada Panna Cotta, every dish just bursting with flavour!!! Highly Recommend!
Mark Aitkin
Really yum. The food is pretty good value. appears simple but some nice combos of flavour. some thought has gone into each dish. recommend!

Great !!!!. My partner and I had the pleasure of eating at encore on Wednesday night.
We shared the seafood tasting plate for 2 $24 which came with 2 tempura battered oysters garnished with wasabi mayonnaise, smoked rainbow trout on sour dough crouton and 2 huge kataifi pastry wrapped king prawns with a mango chutney looked great and tasted even better. Well done Encore
Nadia Louise
Absolutely fabulous food, service and atmosphere. Can't fault anything will definitely be back

Mel. Great meal !!! the thyme and parmesan crumbed lamb cutlets with grilled eggplant and pomegranate molasses was the highlight of the night well done chef. Great dish .......Mel (Sydney )

Avoid-Melbourne has better. Dinner on two consecutive nights. First night was OK and second was uneatable. An oil drenched pasta dish that aspired to reach heights but resembled of a can of olive oil, with dry pasta and overcooked vegetables.

You can find a better dinner without looking, here in Melbourne. Just pass this place.

I definitely would give an 'Encore' to this delightful restaurant located in the Grand Chancellor Hotel.

Although there was a lack ambiance without music and hearing conversations of other people, the excellent food overrides this deficit. The fish was delicate and tender whilst the creme brule was perfectly firm with a beautiful outer shell.

Although I would have liked a more pleasant environment with music, the other delightful attributes of this restaurant more than make up for this miniscule flaw.

I would frequent this restaurant again.

Amazing food.... Went to Encore for dinner, really lovely fine dining experience. The food is incredible and really generous proportions. I'd highly recommend it!
Yvonne Simpson
Great night, used an Our Deal voucher and was highly impressed. Scallops were beautifully cooked, blue cheese tart was tasty and the pumpkin soup was also good. The mains were very generous and again, very tasty and well presented. We squeezed in dessert (just!) and continued to be impressed. Service was good but not obtrusive. Will definitely return.

Nice food, what you would expect for hotel food I think.

Not your typical restaurant feel, but well presented food and good serving sizes

My steak was a little over done, but not the end of the world

Have eaten at encore 3 times now on the way to MCG or eithad and just love it great food and great prices friday night is lamb shank night $17.00 and sat is black angus rump steak also $17.00 both are excellent also try the tomato brushetta.... i no longer waste money eating over priced food at the football GO ENCORE AND GO CARLTON !!!!

Best meal in melbourne. Last Wednesday I had a braised lamb shank from encore and that was the best meal I had during my Melbourne visit. Shanks was perfectly cooked and really tasty. I will definitely visit again to taste other menu items as well on my next visit to Melbourne.

Excellent All Round. A great little Restaurant, which is not trying to re-invent the wheel, but rather serves up some great honest food and friendly competent service. We dined on a Wednesday night, just happened to be our luck as it was Lamb Shank and Chicken Parma Special night, which we chose one of each for main course and WOW! Portion sizes were plentiful and great bang for the buck, ($17 each) both dishes were packed with flavour, the Lamb, perfectly cooked was resting on a smooth Mashed Potato and came with a Rich Tomato Sauce which was to die for, The Chicken Parma wasn't one of those bought in dry cardboard like ones, it was plump juicy and the topping full of flavour. After being very satisfied with mains, our friendly waitress twisted our arm and convinced us, quite easily, to try the Pecan Tart, which was the perfect finish to a great meal, the Hotels Pastry Chef is to be commended.

Worst meal of my life. I can't even think of a word to describe my dining experience at Encore. To say it was "Overwhelmingly disappointing" would be too kind. This is really a bottom-of-the-barrel, lowest of lows, won't even go there again if you paid me type of place.

The manager was rude & steaks were tough as a boot, 3/4s of it was inedible fat, tasteless, and WHICH RESPECTABLE RESTAURANT SERVES A 250G STEAK IN TWO PIECES??? Not to mention our entree of soft shell crab (which came later than our main course!) was so undercooked the crab meat was still a translucent grey. Thankfully, our desserts were 'edible' - but definitely nothing to shout about.

I felt so ripped off and disgusted, wish I had gone to Maccas instead.
Anna
Wonderful Steak on saturday night.....good value for money, great service, average wine list and poor dessert choice
MS
Great steaks!. Often dine here when staying at Grand Chancellor. The steaks here are actually very good, some of the best I've had in Melbourne.
Soft shell crab tacos are also delicious for entree.
Service is good with nice waitresses on the floor.
Sonya
Thank you. C.b.d dinner sunday night
great little venue. My partner loved the 450gram black angus rib eye with red wine jus and garlic aoli the best steak he has eaten in along time.my favorite was lemon tart with just the right amount of lemon. We will be back
CandD
Tonight we used our "OurDeal" voucher that i am so happy i bought! The staff we fantastic and polite. Entree: blue cheese & leek tart - the combination of flavours and the pastry were SO GOOD and the tempura crab soft tacos were absolutely delicious! Main: Angus steak and mushroom sauce which my partner practically made love with, I'm pretty sure he would've licked the plate if I wasn't there! Salmon and Niçoise salad was refreshing. Dessert: choc tart and blueberry something that I didn't want to end!!! Banana pastry with raisin ice cream which my partner loved! Definitely coming back for dinner in the future
Wendy
A delightful peaceful evening meal. My husband and I went to Encore this evening for my birthday. We were using a "Our Deal" voucher. We were given a warm greeting and taken to our reserved table by the window. The waitress explained the options in our deal, which was plenty of choice. For Entree I had the Blue cheese & Leek tart & my husband had scallops in mango and coriander salsa - both were delightful. Main course I had rotisseri Lamb rump on a salad which was beautifully presented and scrumptious to eat. My husband had angus beef with chips and wok seared mix vegetables which was also beautifully done. For dessert I had the warm banana tart which was OK, but a bit ordinary but my husband had the brandy basket with ice creams which was really good. We followed this with decaf lattes. They kept filling up our glasses of water and offered us more soft drink. The service was 10/10, both waitresses were very polite and pleasant and the food was almost 10/10 except for the banana tart, nothing wrong with it, but not special. Also being in December it was nice to go somewhere quiet and no Christmas parties going on. Decor is warm and restful and they just have very quiet background music playing. The menu had a choice of different foods which is always good., we would certainly recommend it and go back again. We were also given a discount card for our next visit. Thanks for a lovely birthday dinner.
Mick
Decent prices. Encore has an attractive dining room. The menu is an easy read and the food not too tricky.I had the 5 point spring lamb rack with a cherry jus and zucchine fritter $31 well cooked and attractively presented. The dessert list consisted of some old classics, bread and butter pudding, apple tart.I chose to have the chocolate tart with blue berry compote and chocolate pastry witch had just the right amount of gooeyness. The service is willing and friendly and the bill is not a shock at the end of the night . mick

Perfect. Great value. dinned at encore on a wednesday night my partner and i shared the seafood platter for two loved the mussels in ginger napoli sce
will return again

Disappointing. We went to Encore for my partner's birthday, using an OurDeal voucher. After being seated, it was a full 20 minutes before anyone returned to our table to explain the deal or offer us drinks. We were told that (although the deal was meant to be for any 2 main meals) we could actually only choose from 4 of the 6 choices (which eliminated both of our first choices for meals). For entree we had the pork tasting platter (which sounded much better on paper, in reality it was unseasoned and bland) and gnocchi (which was nice). Mains we had the lamb shanks (ok) and salmon salad, which was the low point of the meal. Undercooked, unseasoned, barely warm salmon, resting on what was meant to be a nicoise salad, but came drenched (and I mean drenched!) in mayonnaise. It was truly inedible and went back to the kitchen untouched (although this was not queried at all by the waitress who cleared the plates). Desserts were ordinary. Overall a very disappointing experience and not even worth the discounted price we payed.

A CLASS ABOVE. Food here is FANTASTIC best ever Steak with RED WINE juice, great location for the Theatres every dish was exceptional will definitely return.
Spice Of Life
Nothing too fancy. Came here with a Cudo voucher for three courses and wine on a Friday nite 5.30pm dinner as the next available time was 8pm. It's a small restaurant with a little bar area at the back. Service was lovely. My white wine tasted like vinegar even though it came out of a wine bottle, which may be a corkage error? Food was nice but nothing to rave about. For entree we had the scallops & pork tasting plate. Both presented well and cooked nicely. I had the salmon niscoise (?) and hubby had lamb. Salmon was cooked well but it didn't blend with the salad it rested on. Dessert was selection of ice cream in brandy snap basket. An enjoyable experience but wouldn't return to pay full price

Great menu choice 2&3coarse so no hard choices staff really pleasant great place to visit again

Dinner at Encore. We decided to have dinner at Encore before going to see Rock of Ages. When we arrived we were immediately greeted by the friendly staff & taken through to be seated. We had a drink whilst looking at the menu, there were so many options to choose from & the other diners were making the same comment! We chose to have the steak with the nashi pear salad, we requests our steaks be well done, normally this is an issue for most place to get correct, however around 30 minutes later the perfect steak arrived at out table. The time in between we were not left just sitting and waiting, the staff stopped at our table for a chat, got us more drinks & bought water to the table. Over all the meal was fantastic, as was the service. Highly recommend this restaurant, there are options for everyone.

Everything about this dessert - its appearance, texture and flavour - screamed of a rich decadence.
