Good meals -- I like the hot pot dishes which is quite popular with other diners as well.
Staff are efficient yet friendly.
It's a very spacious place unlike some of the other Korean restaurants in the city.
Big portions for the price, for the taste of pork bulgogi is good, the spicy tofu seafood hot pot soup is not tasty enough as they added too much water into it. Also ordeded Jap chae and it took like 40mins! The waitress is very efficient and good with there service but the waiter is not friendly a
Good spot for a Korean dinner. Close to the station and great atmosphere.
Come early or have reservations as the restaurant will get full after the first hour. They do not allow people on premise prior to opening hours even if you are a couple of minutes early so prepare to wait and watch a small qu
Dear San Franciscan,
It was our first day in Melbourne, at 9 pm and hungry. We came in 30 mins before its closed, ordered a family set meal & mushroom Jap Chae.
Asked chef to cook the pork before beef, they comply to our request.
Their Ban Chan isn’t anywhere near as grand as the one in Bay Area,
Checked out Oriental Spoon in the heart of the CBD for some much needed Korean BBQ😅. We smashed the Traditional Marinated Set with a pork 🐷 and kimchi clay pot. The service was fast and efficient, perfect considering we had a comedy show to see!😉 The meat was great and abundant👌. Only aspect lacking
Food is delicious. Staff are lovely. Do try the octopus dumplings - Takoyaki. If you like hot fusion food I recommend the Chicken and cheese with chilli - Cheese Buldak!
The fried chicken was tender and juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. They sell them boneless but I prefer mine with bones. Everything else was nice too especially the jap chae. The noodles with covered in sauce and it was not too salty.
Authentic Korean food, friendly staff and Soju. The perfect mix to a good dinner before you hit the Korean Karaoke joint.
